===Shelving an Original Character===
If an Original Character (OC) is no longer interesting to you or if you need to free up one or more points to make room for a different character, you can ask staff to 'shelve' your OC without losing it permanently. An OC that is 'on the shelf' will be unavailable to the player, and will not count towards the five point limit. If you change your mind, or have the points to spare in the future, you can ask us to un-shelve your OC, so that you can resume playing it. If the character has been shelved for 6 months or longer, staff may need to review the app like a new character to be sure it fits current game standards.

An OC bit will not be recycled unless there is an extreme reason (such as a permanent player ban). This is mainly so that the logs on the wiki are still able to be attached to a character page. The character cannot be picked up by anyone other than the person who played them original and they will be moved to the Retired/Shelved section on the character page to reflect this.
