An Angel And A Doctor
Date of Scene: 11 July 2019
Location: Morrigan's Place
Synopsis: Morrigan invites Angel over to talk.
Cast of Characters: Morrigan MacIntyre, Angel

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan had given Angel a call when she'd woken up. She sounded a little groggy, but given she was a night owl and she woke up about five in the afternoon this wasn't a surprise. Plus a broken nose didn't help matters. She'd left him a voicemail asking him if he'd like to stop by her place and talk over some things with her. She'd left her address in the voicemail.

She'd been sitting at her dining table and working on things, just trying to make some sense of where and why things were happening. And she really needed to drop in at Sanctum to study.

Angel has posed:
Angel listens his voicemail at least once a day, or at least, once per night considering he sleeps during the day, usually. And so it is that he found Morrigan's message, made sure no demonslaying was on his agenda for the night, informed those who need to be informed that he wouldn't be working tonight, and went in his room to wear a pair of black boots, jeans, and a black shirt with silver buttons that must cost at least a tousand dollars. Then he hopped on his car, started the engine and tested all the speedlimits to stop, right now, in front of the address that Morrigan gave him.
Stepping out of the car, he tries to locate the right apartment, reaching it and knocking twice on the door.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
The knocking had made Morrigan jump, but she chuckled at her self for being jumpy. She gets up and walks to the door to unlock it and look outside, "Ah, I see you got my message." she smiles to him. The bridge of her nose is bruised and there's bruising under her eyes from the nose breaking. She was glad that guy had been shot in the head to be honest. "Come on in." she states as she steps back from the door, allowing him to enter. "Thanks for stopping in. Have you had dinner yet?" she asks him.

Angel has posed:
"hello, Morrigan." Angel greets the woman as soon as the door is opened, and then, since she clearly invited him in, he can finally step through the door! "nice place" he comments, even if in a quite matter of fact tone! "uh, well yes, I, I had dinner" he answers then, moving another couple of steps into the room and glancing around. After all he had a full bag of blood for dinner, tonight, if it counts as dinner! Or was it breakfast? Do even vampiric meals have names? It isn't a dinner if you drink blood at 7 pm even if you just woke up, nor a breakfast because, well, who would have blood for breakfast? Anyways his eyes turn on Morrigan as he asks "what did you do to get those bruises?"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Hello Angel." Morrigan smiles at him softly. "And thank you. I moved here after I got tired of people wrecking my old apartment." she chuckles. Toxin had put a hole in her wall and then her dad a few years later. Time for new scenery. "Oh, well what did you have?" she asks him. She didn't know he was a vampire, so hey, innocent question. "I'll probably just make a shake or something. Ice cream for dinner since I'm an adult." she chuckles. Then there's a frown as she closes the door and locks it, "Wrong place and wrong time. It's been taken care of though." she admits. "How have you been?" she asks him.

Angel has posed:
Angel tries to think quickly, but then, years of practice bring the answer right to his lips "beef, nothing special!" it was beef's blood, after all, no humans for Angel unless he wants to fall into a worse state of brooding... "well, icecream is great, yes, and who says you can't have it for dinner?" he asks, he doesn't smile because he isn't trained to, but his voice sounds, just slightly amused? "I've been well enough, and considering the state of your face I don't know if I should ask the same about you, hm? But well, wrong time and wrong place is a common occurrence..."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to him and there's a chuckle, "Beef, nice." she tells him with a nod. Then there's a shake of her head, "Yeah, my face would have looked worst had I been in a worse place." she muses. "Come on in and have a seat. I just...wanted to catch up and see how everything was. The trail on my father has gone cold for the moment. Kinda annoyed about that." she admits as she moves to find herself a seat.

Angel has posed:
Angel walks to the nearest couch and takes a seat, his eyes never leaving Morrigan, leaving to his other senses the duty to survey his surroundings. "I have been speaking with, people, that might know some things about your father and, I must say, on my end there's not really much as well, he's a shadow... But then, I will meet someone who will probably have some more informations this weekend, so I'll probably update you then." he admits, closing his eyes for the fraction of a second, recalling the vampires he spoke with about Morrigan's father no longer than a week ago, then recalling those same vampires a moment later, on the floor, in the form of a pile of dust.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan settles in on the couch and there's a bit of a smile to that, "It's nice that you're getting information on him." she states. "Maybe I could go with you this weekend?" she asks him. She didn't know that he was killing vampires after getting information from them. She watches him close his eyes and there is a curiousness to her gaze as she looks to him, "What are you thinking about?" she asks him.

Angel has posed:
Angel hmms, looking thoughtful for a moment, maybe considering the pros and cons of taking her with him. "ok, you can come" he just states, leaning a bit backwards on the couch "I will send you the details of the location, but we'll meet a vampire so, well, just be prepared..." he adds, just in case. At the question, he just stares at the woman and tilts his head "I'm thinking about a lot of things, including the weather outside, the size of this room, what I had last week for dinner, the number of windows in the building in front of this one, the number of steps from here to the window, what I said yesterday at 0.35 am to a client that come to my office... Should I continue?" yes, he definitely has a good memory, or unfortunately when he recalls his angelus side.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives him a look and there's a blink when he actually says yes, "Well that was easy." she admits. "I'll make sure to not do anything that would make me look like dinner." she tells him as she leans back where she's sitting. She still looks at him, giving a bit of a smile when he recalls things, "You remember a lot." she states. "And I think I got the jist of that, so no. Not unless you really want to." she murmurs to him. "Did you have other plans tonight? Besides visiting a woman with a broken nose?" she muses.

Angel has posed:
Angel hmms, peering at Morrigan "to a vampire, every living thing, with blood, looks like dinner. Then humans are just particularly tasty ones. Someone I know called y, called humans, happy meals with legs" he shrugs, shaking his head "well anyways I don't think he'll try to do anything to you, he shouldn't. ANd if he tries we'll just loose a bit of informations but at least save your blood, hm?" but then he nods, indicating that no, he won't continue saying what he's thinking about, and agreeing with the thing that he remembers lots of stuff, at least half of which are useless. "no no I didn't really have any other plans, well, apart from seeing a woman, but I didn't know she had a broken nose so! But anyways don't worry you're not bringing me away from anything."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to him, "Well, some humans might be happy meals with legs. I'm not one of those." she huffs. "Won't hesitate to kick someone either." she mutters. She wasn't really someone that was going to be a damsel. Or well. She was sure she had some sort of way to defend herself. "I would like to keep my blood in my body unless it's donated for a good cause." she chuckles. "Does my broken nose interrupt a big plan of yours that you had?" she teases him gently.

Angel has posed:
Angel nods again understandingly "I could understand how you would want to keep all of your blood where it belongs, and if I can help it, that's what will happen indeed. But anyways I trust you know how to handle yourself around vampires, yes." he again leans on the couch, assuming what could pass for a relaxed posture, that posture an average man would probably sette into with a smile and a satisfied expression afterwards! But then again, Angel and smiling don't get along so he's just, neutral? "not really, if that didn't interrupt any plan of yours it surely didn't alter any of mine!" he exclaims, casting a glance at the abovementioned broken nose "but well, broken noses are a pain in more than the literal sense of the word..."

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"Thank you, Angel." Morrigan tells him. "Is that your real name?" she asks him curiously. "I'm sure it probably is, but I was curious. I know some people like to use different identities." she chuckles. "I don't have work to do this evening, so it seems like we have the evening to ourselves." she smiles. "I'd take the broken nose over being dead though." she points out. "So is there anything you like to do when you aren't working?" she asks him.

Angel has posed:
Angel nods, then shakes his head, only to nod again "well, yes and no... I, ehm, lets just say Angel has been my name for long enough now to be considered as my true name..." he answers, maybe diplomatically? And then here it comes, another question he's not prepared to! He should really train in socializing "uhm, I..." he pauses, for a moment truly thinking of something. Then sighs, going at least for a partial truth "I usually don't really have that lots of time when I don't work... I, train, or read, or study, or work, to be honest... Hobbies, well, I might be boring but, I don't even think I have any" unless training with swords, knives, and lots of martial arts is a hobby

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan nods to that, "I can live with that then." she murmurs. Or well, she doesn't pry and ask him what his actual name is. She wasn't going to piss him off. "What do you train in?" she asks curiously as she leans forward a bit. "I don't have a lot of hobbies either. Work kind of takes a good chunk of my time, then follow that with other stuff it's...hard." she frowns.

Angel has posed:
Angel's lips twitch upwards, it looks like he's going to smile, it's almost like with a bit more effort he would! But he doesn't. "well I found someone that understands me then!" he exclaims however, looking at the doctor sitting next to him "generally speaking, I train in how to deal with those vampires and demons that would gladly turn a human into a meal, a sacrifice, or a piece of furniture... So, well, that includes several martial arts, and the handling of sharp or blunt objects that could be used in self defense." he admits, giving away part of his life

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
"I mean, it kind of sucks that I don't have more free time. I'd like to get out more. Maybe find someone to date. Things like that." Morrigan chuckles. "I understand your situation though, yes." she murmurs. Then she perks up a bit, "Swords?" she asks him hopefully. "A friend said I should learn how to protect myself, but, I'm not sure what the best thing is for me." she admits.

Angel has posed:
She managed, Morrigan managed again somehow to pull a sort of chuckle out of Angel, whose mind is thinking about what would really happen if he were to be involved in a true date! The world would be sorry for sure! At least, if true happiness came into play... "I totally share that, I'd be very glad to have more free time, to go out, to date, and do all the stuff people do..." and not feel sorry for the lots of cruel things he did, of course. Then he nods at the mentioning of swords "swords too, yes, they're actually my favourite. And, I don't know, you hu, you people now aday seem to like guns quite a lot and, well, they're even more concealable than a broadsword, or a longsword... But then, martial arts are always nice to know, for self defense"

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan smiles when he sort of chuckles, she figured he wasn't the kind to laugh a lot. If at all. "Maybe you'll get a free day or something between investigations. It'll be a good thing." she nods to that. "You ever thought about teaching? I'd love to pick up some sort of training in martial arts or swords. I'm not much of a gun person. I think it's due to how many times I've had blood splattered on my face from someone else being shot." she admits.

Angel has posed:
Angel considers the idea of teaching, the idea of teaching Morrigan as well, and gives an affirmative nod "well, I never really tought about teaching before, but, if you want, we could train together and I could help you learn some self defense." he offers, tilting his head slightly forward, waiting for an answer. "oh, well I'd like that to happen, yes" a free day? A free day to do stuff? Awesome, paradise even! But then, till there'll be demons to hunt, free days will be a thing unlikely to happen.

Morrigan MacIntyre has posed:
Morrigan gives a look to him and there's a smile, "Sure. I think we can work together on that." she tells him. "And maybe you should try to fit a free night into your schedule. Doesn't have to be a weekly thing, but taking a break means you won't go mad." she admits. Then she gets up to fix herself a drink getting him one if he wants. She then returns to tell him about what she found out about her father, which was a lot of NOTHING.
