A shy, quiet young man, Leander Lawson is a Computer Science major, living the ramen lifestyle. A native of Gotham, he managed to live a relatively normal life until he suffered what his parents called a 'nervous breakdown' at the start of his sophomore year at college. He seems to be mostly back to normal now though, pulling some pretty decent grades.

COMPUTER INTERACTION

Using the Electromagnetic field he is able to project around his body, Leander has the power to interface with computers and IT networks, allowing him to download and gather information. Leander can manipulate data, allowing him to collect information about most businesses and organizations and their operations and do amazing things to or inside computers, such as hacking and manipulating computer programs.

ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD

Able to project a limited electromagnetic field around his body, Leander has mastered the art of creating a swirling, slicing hell of knives, shuriken or whatever other sharp metal objects may be at hand around himself. It's limited in range, extending at most a foot in any given direction. It may also help to slow or misdirect incoming attacks from metallic objects such as blades and bullets, though it's not powerful enough to halt them altogether and is draining to maintain.

ELECTROMAGNETIC VISION

Leander is able to view the entire electromagnetic spectrum and can "tune" his vision to interpret the various ranges of the energy. He is able to perceive radio waves, radar, infrared, visible light, ultraviolet, power waves, x-rays, gamma rays, and even cosmic rays. He also has limited night-vision and thermo-vision. Leander can also see the energy flowing through power lines and technological objects and can tell if they are active or not as well as being able to tell if a radio transmitter is 'on' and if it is sending signals.

ENHANCED AGILITY

Leander Lawson can switch from one motion to another effortlessly and gracefully, effectively dodge attacks, swing from things easily, sprint, do back-flips and numerous other gymnastic, athletic and martial maneuvers with little effort. While not supernaturally so, Leander possesses agility far in excess of what the average human would be capable of.

COMPUTERS

Leander is a Computer Science student at Gotham University, though he's known to be something of a prodigy. Programing, Data Architecture, Software Design, Security and Hacking are all well within his area of expertise.

KNIFE FIGHTING

Leander has picked up a few self defense skills, among them combat with knives. He prefers one in each hand, in a downward 'reverse' grip. Combined with his enhances agility and the ability to utilize electromagnetic fields to move his knives with near perfect precision, he's actually fairly dangerous.

SECURITY SYSTEMS

Leander is something of an expert in both electronic and physical security systems, able both to design near impenetrable systems to protect data and valuables. The reverse of this is also true however, making Leander equally adept at disabling or bypassing them in order to gain access to data and valuables.

STEALTH & INFILTRATION

Using a combination of his mastery of localized electromagnetic fields and enhanced agility, Leander is a master of moving soundlessly and without detection, able to infiltrate even very secure facilities.

DATA OVERLOAD

While not common, under certain stressful situations it is still possible for Leander's mind to be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of data it is receiving but unable to process as he taps into the entire electromagnetic spectrum at once. When this happens, Leander is rendered nearly catatonic, sometimes for an extended period of time. When his powers first emerged it caused a near nervous breakdown, for which he still receives occasional treatment.

FAMILY EXPECTATIONS

Leander's parents are fairly well to do, upper middle class, east coast liberals. Dinner parties, charity galas, days on the golf course. It's all terribly mundane and they would hate to see it rocked by any kind of scandal. They're already fairly uncomfortable with Leander being a mutant, though on the flipside they couldn't be more pleased he turned out gay soo...In any case, getting his name in the newspaper for the wrong reasons would go down very, very badly.

PAINFULLY SHY

Leander is extraordinarily socially awkward, being somewhat nervous and shy in social settings. He tends to mumble, meaning people find it easy to talk over or ignore him and his body language can easily cause him to fade into the background.

RAME LIFESTYLE

Leander is currently a University Student with all of the problems that entails, first among them being a distinct lack of money. He doesn't have access to a lot of fancy gear or cars or anything like that.

SELF TAUGHT

Leander is largely self taught in terms of his skills and abilities, not having had the benefit of training or mentoring. Some of his techniques are a little unrefined or rough around the edges as a result. He's far from terrible, but he has certainly yet to unlock his true potential as a result.
