Rogue It's been a few days since Rogue and Logan had a bit of a spat, then a little bit of fun, then a battle in the danger room and then more fun. It's been a very up and down week for the couple but Rogue has thought of a way to -maybe- make up for some of the more down moments. As such, she's been in the danger room all morning taking an old program that she designed and changing it up a bit. The parameters were for a high school prom...so now she wants to make it a little more adult friendly and modern.

The text she sends to Logan reads <<Come to the Danger Room, but dress nice! Like you're going to a sort of fancy party..>> which may or may not be something within Logan's closet - but she's sure he'll make do somehow. If not, surely this room can manifest some sort of outfit for the man to wear.

As for the room itself, it's been made into a modern dance hall, the walls lined with tables in white linen cloths and black wood chairs. The middle of the room is a dance floor - almost like a reception hall for a wedding or something. (Don't worry, this is -not- a wedding). Somewhere, music is playing. Something rock ballad-like to fit both hers and Logan's taste. Hopefully.

As for Rogue, herself, when Logan steps in he'll find her wearing a sleek yellow gown, the bust embroidered gently with lace, and then tapers off to the midsection which is sheer material. This then pans out to the skirt of the dress, the right leg being able to peek out of the side slit while the rest of the skirt goes down to just above the floor. She's wearing light makeup and a smile while waiting for the man to enter.
Logan Logan's out in the backyard, just honing his sense of smell. Trying to suss out all of the different scents when his phone buzzes. It's clearly Rogue, he has a special chime that goes off with the buzz. Only Rogue has that. It's part of him trying to communicate better.

What gives him pause is the last part her message. 'Dress nice!' Brows furrow, "Why do I need to dress fancy fer the danger room?" Logan's suspect, but he'll make his way back to the mansion.

When the daner room opens, Logan steps in wearing a white tux jacket complete with a black bowtie, red hankerchief tucked into the front pocket, and his pants are matching black tus pants. Those shoes of his are oxfords, frhesly shined. The hair is tied back into a pony knob.

When the door closes Logan pauses. His ocean blue eyes shoot about. They land on her and it feels like his heart leaps into hsi throat, in a good way.
Rogue Rogue looks to the man dressed up in front of her almost in disbelief. "Holy shit...you clean up real good, Logan..." She manages before shifting to step forward, offering her hand to him. "You know, we've done a lot of talking, and dating, and random stuff.... but one thing we've never done is gone dancing. And I dunno about you but I do happen to love to dance. Though I figured you may not like dancing in a public scene so...I brought the scene to us.." She gives a pause and then looks around the room before back at him. "...So...what d'you think?"
Logan "Last few times I put this on was fer some kinda business," he offers a hand to her. Ocean blue eyes look into heras as they move. "We haven't. I'd like to take ya some place nice," he admits honestly. It's just bad circumstances that they haven't.

"I don't mind dancin' in public," he says honestly. "We can go out dancin' soon." A smile pulls at his lips, "Just wanna tell me the time and place?" he asks honestly. Logan just watches Rogue as they make their way to the floor.
Rogue "Well then we can consider this practice before we go out. Just, you know, to make sure we don't step on each other's feet or somethin'..." Rogue says this and then follows him to the dance floor. "I would like that. To go out dancin' with you. Don't even mind where... could be a hole in the wall country bar where we just line dance and two step..." A laugh from her then. "For now...I just thought this would be somethin' a little different for us both."
Logan "Me cleainin' up n' you lookin' more like a Southern Belle than normal,? I wouldn't mind that." Logan is actually a good dance. Once they begin he knows how to formal dance. However, as they begin he will be quick to add, "I've never two-stepped before," and he tries not to look down. Logan thinks Rogue probably has some kind of mastery in it. That she would know dances like that in and out.
Rogue Rogue smiles softly as they go into a formal dance. "Two-steppin' ain't hard... that I know of... but truth be told, I ain't two-stepped before either. I -have- lined danced, but that's easy as pie cause you just follow the people around you." Sharing this much with a chuckle. "So maybe we learn how to two step before we run off to some country steeped hole in the wall... besides..." She looks around a moment before pressing closer against him. "This is nice..."
Logan "I see line dancin' n' it looks like they're synchornized. Kinda intimidatin'," he moves with her in the circle. Whether the crowd is real, or just a program, there's no one else in his world other than Rogue right now. "What are ya thinking?" he kisses her head as they move together. The music just guiding him. and he is in no rush to end it.
Rogue Rogue laughs. "Okay, fine. Maybe we don't go to some country hole. I guess fancy dancin' is more yer style then..." She offers this with a kind smile, and breathes out when he kisses her head. "I'm thinking that I am the luckiest girl in the whole world, and I dunno what I ever did to deserve it...to deserve you...but I'm happy to call myself yours."
Logan "I wouldn't mind learnin'. Just might want lessons," Logan says honestly as he may sound a bit unsure about that. One of the first time Logan's sounds unsure about something. His gaze going down to her. "Ya earned it. Yer the one that chose me. I'm the lucky one," he smirs. "I just laid down the challenge," he gives her a smirk and a knowing wink.
Rogue "Could probably set something like that up if you really wanna learn." Rogue offers this and then shifts so she can catch the unsure Logan in a quick but sincere kiss. When he speaks about how she earned it, this relationship, this life, she blushes a little. "You know I can't resist me a little challenge now and then."
Logan "I wouldn't mind learnin'. Just give an old man some slack," Logan doesn't want to adimt he's a novice here. However, there's no other choice really. He has to. And so, Logan will admit to the lack of knowledge.

He kisses her back softly, sweetly, quickly. Then he smirks, "We both didn't expect what happened when ya answered it," Logan's willing to bet it took both of them by surprise. He knows Rogue surprised him.
Rogue Rogue tilts her head a little and then chuckles. "You got all the slack you need...just have a little faith in yourself." She offers this and then looks them both over. "Maybe that can be the next date here...a lesson in two steppin' and line dancin'. We ain't quite dressed for it at the moment..." Then there's that kiss, and he speaks again just after it. "No. I didn't expect it to go the way it did. A part of me likely didn't even expect to answer it the way I did. I just followed my heart." She gives pause.

"I was likely a little concerned since I had just been ghosted by someone and I didn't want you to think I was just lookin' for a rebound...." That would have likely gone to someone else if she had given it half a thought.
Logan Logan nods about the date, "It's a date. Just gotta tell me when darlin'," Logan gives a soft smile. She can bring those out in him. A softness few get to see.

"IF I was a rebound yer either really bad at rebounds or I'm far from a rebound, even if I started as one," Logan says honestly. He knows that they did not begin as a rebuond for Rogue. He knows that full stop. Still, he will poke fun at the possibility.
Rogue Rogue laughs. "Alright. I'll put somethin' together for us for that." She says this much and then watches as he smiles. The way he smiles. It's endearing to her.

"Far from one. I don't know what you started as. I just know that somewhere along the way it was love. Plain and simple. And it will remain love until the end." She says that, perhaps a sort of cryptic thing to say, but there it is. Still, she does stick her tongue out at him cause of his cheeky poking fun at her.
Logan "Not looking fer that end any time soon," he sa ys honestly. He does love Rogue being close like this. Even if she is sticking a tongue out at him. "I think the love happened pretty early."
Rogue "Neither am I, truth be told." Rogue says this and then leans against him as they continue to sway and circle the room in some sort of 'dancing' motion. "Mmn...so...did you really enjoy this little surprise? Not too upset I made you dress up for the occassion?"
Logan "I'm verys urprised, darlin'. I'm just shocked. A good kinda shock," he admits softly as he looks at her. A moment later, his gaze goes down to her. "Why would I be upset?" he asks. that's a genuine question from him.
Rogue "Well...cause...you like to live and look that rugged Canadian style. Wood chopper, muscle man who probably doesn't know a tie from a hole in the ground." Rogue explains. "So me askin' ya to dress fancy and come to the danger room of all places had to have you at least curious...and the whole dressin' up bit? You don't do it often, if ever, but you do clean up good for what it's worth."
Logan "I do clean up, just lately it's been 'bout business n' not pleasure. Not fer anythin' fun. I'd like to change that," he says honestly as he holds her a little closer, not wanting her to move away.
