Owner Pose
Willow Rosenberg It was late at night. Harry was sleeping.

Willow was not.

She made it through supper with too many pressing questions. But the longer the night went, the more she was frightened. And wanted to blurt out what was wrong. Or, at least, *some* of her problems. After all, some things she wasn't ready to confess - not really.

But Dracula? Oh Yes, she was afraid that she had crossed some line, and she was scared.

Of what? That was the question.

"Harry?" she whispered. "Are you awake? Can you hold me?"
Harry Dresden The living fur tank looks up from where he is laying. Apparently he wasn't sleeping either. He lays his head back down and sighs softly.

It takes Harry a few seconds to make his way from his slumber. If she had been panicky, he would have instantly woke, but instead he blearily replies,"Hmm? Awake, yeah. He turns towards her so she can get snuggled in close,"My beautiful girlfriend wants to be held, that's what she gets." he offers amiably. Sure he's still shaking off the proverbial sand, but he's awake enough to speak in complete sentences so it's a start.
Willow Rosenberg Willow nestles close to his chest, laying so that she can hear the *thump-thump thump-thump* of his heart. Curling her fingers around the hair on his chest, she breathes.

"I think I made a big mistake this evening. A really big mistake."

When she says it like that, it doesn't seem that dreadful. In fact, she sounds like a petulant little girl wanting to be reassured everything was okay.

Unfortunately? It wasn't the case. She really did eff up, big time.
Harry Dresden At first he is a little hazy, but when she talks about a really big mistake he focuses. He gently kisses her head and relies,"All right. Do you want to tell me about it or just lay here? Either is fine."

His shoulders settle into his pillow a little,"We can talk or I can lay here and listen. If I interupt you can ask Mouse to sit on me. He knows he wants to."

He isn't making light really, merely trying to let her know he's here for her. To listen, not to be her judge.
Willow Rosenberg "I don't want to tell.. But I think I have to?"

Willow sighs.

"Don't get mad at me, but I visited Dracula at his mansion tonight." And then she adds, quietly, "And I cursed."
Harry Dresden "Tell me what you want." he replies softly,"I will listen."

That is a tough pill to swallow though, visiting the Lord of Vampires and at his mansoin no less. He is quiet for a moment letting those thoughts settle.

On the floor, Mouse rises and trots out of the room, heading for the office area.

Quiet for a little longer, he finally replies,"All right. He didn't hurt you, well didn't bite you by all appearances." He considers her words and though he isn't sure what to think, his eyes blink once or twice and sparkle just a little at the notion that she cursed, but he doesn't give her trouble.

"I guess we know where to point Faith and Buffy. That Vampirella woman too for that matter." he comments finally,"You found him."
Willow Rosenberg "Oh, but he wanted to! We had a fight of powers. It was exhilarating!" Willow whispers. "I egged him on. He thought he had won, and he almost did. Except he thought I couldn't cast if my hands were immobile. Which is silly. They are better that way, but not every type of magic needs hands or fingers."

At least she did not require them.

"And the other day, Thomas came to tell you about the bounties, and I ate a steak sandwich." Which, for Willow, was as bad to facing Dracule down in his home. Which was kind of weird if you thought about it.

She hasn't told him about whether or not she is going to visit that Vampire. Now that she has a pretty good idea where he can be found..
Harry Dresden He listens for a while, thinking everything over. He also considers his words for a time,"In a way there is a lot of wisdom in angering the opponent. As I understand it, he has a short fuse."

Thoughtful he adds,"It is a common mistake yes. That a caster needs their hands. He knows now that you don't, so be mindful of that."

She knows deep down he is probably wanting to ask her if she is out of her mind, but he is holdig it in. He pauses when she mentions the sandwich and things start to take a different shape in his mind,"You ate meat and you swore? Both are a little outside your normal sure enough. You didn't get sick from the sandwich did you?" Curious. She's pricked the curious portion of his brain.
Willow Rosenberg "No!" And Willow buries her face into his chest. "I liked it!! I don't know what is happening to me. I keep having these odd urges. And they keep getting stronger. I'm afraid."
Harry Dresden He raises a brow and his hand rises over her back to gently stroke her hair,"Hey, hey..." he says softly,"...all right. It's going to be all right."

What else can he say? Suggesting he experiment magically on his lover probably wouldn't be well received.

For a time he is quiet for her again and finally he tells her,"We can try to sort this or I can hold you tonight and we sort it in the morning. I know he's a nuisance, but Bob might have ideas."
Willow Rosenberg Willow nods.

"Hold me. I'm sure tomorrow it won't be as terrifying. I'm sorry for dropping this on you. I.. I'm glad though. Just hold me until I fall asleep."
Harry Dresden He shakes his head,"That's part of the job description dear. Boyfriend listens to the girlfriend's concerns. Stays up all night if need be." Again he kisses her head and adds,"I'll hold you as long as you want."
