Naturally, given her home's around here somewhere, she's only a few....dozen steps from home. Today? All about the tank top and jeans attire, and all about taking in local culture. Which means, broadly? Art. Art and music for her Pausing to give an artist a $5 bill, Babs tilts her head this way and that as she examines a painting, then steps back to get a look at it from further away. She's so absorbed in it her phone's in her pocket, she's not even paying attention to it.

Babs has learned martial arts, and she's using that to fight back against her attacker....up until oh...oh shi... That voice. Oh crap. She just threw kicks and elbows at Peter... That's the problem with Babs. She's so used to kicking butt that she's going on instinct. Though to bee bair she's not kicking and fighting once she hears Peter's voice. Instead she's wriggling to turn in his embrace to get a look at him. The net result is a wild mass of red hair flying, and she's left it untied because, really. She's too lazy to tie it back right now.

Peter lets go of her and has to lean out of the way for that one. "Whoa! Sorry, sorry, sorry!" Peter lifts his hands then, in a 'please don't hit me' kind of way. Its not wimpy, but it is cautious towards a woman who kicks ass on a nightly basis. "Ah....Heeeyy. You look fantastic today."

Well besides me, I mean" Babs says with a wink and a nod. She finally finishes turning and leans in to kiss his cheek. "See. I appreciate you coming to see me. Just...don't sneak up on me again. I know how to fight. Gotham's a dangerous place" Babs nods. "Do I need to put little bells on your hands and ankles like cats have on collars?" she asks, giggling all the while at the idea of Peter festooned with little cat bells.

"Yeah, I'm sorry. That was really dumb of me. I guess I wanted to surprise you and wasn't thinking." Peter looks slightly ashamed of himself, but it doesn't stop him from enjoying her company. "Won't do it again, I promise. Though uh, don't put a bell on me. I think that would make me look really silly. And well, I'm here because of you. Wanted to see you, ya know? Missed ya." Pete was probably head over heels for Barbara, poor sod.

"So you wanted to see me?" she asks, not putting up a fight when he reaches for her hands. Insteadd her fingers reach to twine with his. Awwww.... He smiles, but then he chuckles when she further speaks of the John Doe bell situation. "True. Maybe we can put bells on that one girl who interrupted us that one time, yeah? I think that might be funny." But then he's looking into her eyes with a smile at her question. "Of course I am. I'm dating a work of art." awwww. He flirts with her shamelessly now and has no problem telling her, or anyone, that she's amazing. Speaking of...he leans forward, trying to claim a kiss on her lips if she allows.
