Jaces was walking by and there was the typcial call that always finds him. Emergency! Someone is hurt and there is a call for emergency services. He sighs softly and turns to the building. Some people just can't enjoy time off and he steps through the door to see a man on the ground clutching his leg. Another tries racing past him, but someone else yells thief and one cowboy boot crosses the man's path, sending him head over heels as well. For the moment he moves to the first injured, remaining mindful of the runner.

He checks the man's pulse and then runs his hands over him with a quick check for blood. Nothing. A moment later he is checking the man's leg, nodding and mutterting to himself. He looks to the desk clerk and says,"Bring me four towels'n two mop handles'r somethin' simliar lenght like boards'r th' like." The man he tripped starts getting up after bumping the ground hard. The cowboy turns his attention to man and tells him,"Ya make me chase ya pal I ain' gonna be happy'r nice 'bout it." It is a bluff of course, he can't leave injurd man once he starts treatment, but he hopes it will convince the man. It doesn't of course, the man staggers to his feet and lunges at the door again. Jacen reaches for his right boot, but pauses and shakes his head. The other one will likely get away.

The man looks confused, but understands a moment later as the bones are pulled back and set so the bones aren't stabbing the inside of his leg. The man yelps, but then eases. A few moments later the runner comes back with towels and brooms. Jacen eyes him and then takes the things. The injured man says the former runner is a thief. Of course, the man tries to sneak out of the place not running this time.

Skye winces as the bones are put into place. While she doesn't have very much first aid training, the fact is the bones vibrate on a cellular level when they are put into place. And that? That she feels and hears. When the injured man says the other man is a thief, she memorizes his face. And nods to Jacen. "Need some help?" She can hold everything still while he wraps them until the ambulance gets here. "What did you witness?" To Jacen or the man.

Jacen looks up at the running man and shrugs,"Knock that one back on 'is butt 'til th' cops get here?" He places the braces on each side of the man's leg and shakes his head,"Come here'n tie th' towels at each end and then one above an' one b'low his knee. Basically jus' isolatin' his leg." He turns his attention to the man who is beside himself about the runner. Jacen sighs and reaches up to touch the feather in his hat band. A moment later a spirit hawk flies into the city and Jacen tries to calm the man.

He listens to the other person on the phone and almost doesn't hear Skye's demand. He turns slowly, looking at her. The talk of guns seems to get his attention. Whatever the case, he looks at her and knocks over a trash can as he turns to run again.
