Cast of Characters: Pixie, Triage, Nightingale

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn had returned to the institute and the wellness office, shortly after assisting Wanda and the others to create a protection spell around the school. Unfortunately, said spell had resulted in an accumulation of unfriendly demon attacks, which had led to many altercations and woundings. Shannon already had her hands full dealing with numerous other injuries and so Megan had made her way into the wellness office, clutching a bloody rib cage as she glances around for Triage. She had managed a rough patch up of her wound with a bandage wrapped around her wound, but her resistance to drugs and subsequent and ongoing fear of infection had led her to the wellness office - not one of her fave places but a necessity when you're resistant to most drugs, including antibiotics.

Triage has posed:
The back yard might have born the brunt of the attack, but the Wellness Office had seen after-effects. Shannon brought Bean there for healing. They had left, but the damage from their visit lingers. The sheets on one bed are still red with blood. Chris slumps, with his head on his arms, at the desk, looking as if he could use a week of sleep. However, when Megan arrives, he raises his head and focuses weary eyes on her. For a moment, he simply stares, and then he shoves the chair back and lurches to his feet. "Megan! What happened to you?" he asks. Gaining strength, he circles the desk and hurries toward her, reaching for her arm.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon comes back into the wellness office with two bowls of steaming hot mac 'n cheese, knowing full well that after the healing for Bean, Chris would need it. However, when she came in and saw Megan, she frowned deeply, and set the bowls down on the main desk. "Megan... you too? What got ya?" By the look and smell of it, she's freshly showered, and she's in her red tartan sweatpants, sheepdog slippers, and baggy grey tank top.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn slowly as she notices Triage, already looking exhausted. She already feels guilty, especially with all the demon blood already on her hands and the after effects of the soul dagger still eating away at her soul.."Oh nooo, you ok Triage? I didn't realize you'd be so overworked here too..I didn't wanna burden Shannon with...Oh hey Shannon!" she beams, fluttering over as she smells Mac n cheese. "Mmmmmm that smells sooo good..Need help in eating it??"

Triage has posed:
Chris shakes his head. "I'll be fine," he answers stoically. Then Shannon arrives and he nods to her. "Shannon brought Bean here. They left just before you arrived. He's better now. But you ..." He shakes his head. "I'm not sure which of you took more damage. Pick a clean bed. Lie down and rest. I need a moment." He looks at the two bowls of mac 'n' cheese and then at Shannon.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon shakes her head at Megan. "No, right now your wounds are a bit more critical. I had no idea anyone else was coming in here, or I'd have made more. When you're all set you can have my bowl." She smiles and moves over to guide the pixie-winged girl to one of the beds to sit down. "I'm so sorry for not seeing this sooner. It was sheer madness out there." Once Megan's seated, she flexes her fingers a little bit. "Now, I'm not going to begin the healing, just going to take a look and get a sense of how deep this injury runs, and if there are any other factors to consider. Is that alright?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn laughs nervously, shaking her head although she does take advice on settling into a bed, finding them more comfy than she expected. "Really, I look worse than I feel, although I'm more worried about infection.." she shrugs, "I think it's just my ribcage that got grazed and a light cut in my cheek..,Mostly it's the emotional effects of using my soul dagger for so long that left me a bit shaken..." she glances at the bowl longingly but the memories of her recent and disturbing bloodlust are still fresh on her mind.

Triage has posed:
"If the wounds are superficial, then allowing Shannon to have a look shouldn't hurt. Should it?" Chris questions, looking from Megan to Shannon and then from Shannon to the bowls of mac 'n' cheese before returning his attention to Megan again. "As for emotional effects of using your soul dagger, I'm not sure how either of us could help you unless we know more about the weapon and how it effects you." Again, he shakes his head. "I'm afraid that I'm not familiar with it. You'd need to explain it to me."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon smiles somewhat and shakes her head. "Don't know about the emotional effects of your weapon. All I see right now is you bleeding right through your bandages. First things first." With that, she closes her eyes, and only very lightly touches the area over Megan's wound, on her ribcage, using her gift as Josh once taught her before his disappearance, to see what she could learn about the injury.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn shivers a bit, relaxing on her bed as Shannon gets to work on her wounds. "Thanjs, Shannon..I'm sorry to overburden you. I guess you came into the fight already wounded. I wish I could take care of myself better.., darn drugs.." as for the effects of the dagger, she just smiles. "I never felt such a bloodlust before...Maybe Illy can help me if she's back from her vacation.."

Triage has posed:
Chris nods. "She might, Megan. For now, please allow Shannon to work. Then you can enjoy the bowl of mac 'n' cheese and talk to Illy when she's here." He looks to Shannon and inclines his head.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods and smiles to Megan. "Well, good news, the wound's actually pretty superficial. I'd suggest being checked over by Mr. McCoy after this to confirm, but I'll do what I can." With that, she closes her eyes and, for the second time that night, lets her gift off its chains. She presses her lips together slowly as she begins to absorb the wound on Megan's ribcage, the flesh on her own ribcage peeling open--though not deeply--while the flesh on Megan's seals to stop the bleeding. It's not deep, and not as severe as it looks, so it's only about a minute or two before she finally pulls her hands away, the healing complete.

Cracking a bit of a smile as she sits down on the other bed once again, she chuckles a little bit. "You know, we've got to stop meeting like this," she quips, taking a few deep breaths to work through the pain. "Ooof. Going to need another shower and some food and rest after this."

Triage has posed:
Chris stands at the foot of the bed and watches. Even without using his gift, he can see that the physical injuries are light. In mere minutes, Shannon has confirmed that by taking them on herself. Chris nods to Megan. "I'll get that bowl of mac 'n' cheese. You've earned it," he says. He leaves Megan's bed and returns soon with the bowl for her, complete wtih plastic spork. Then he looks to Shanon and nods. "You did well," he approves. "IF there's more of that in the kitchen, I could use some."
