Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
It was just another day on Knowhere. However, this day brings a law enforcement visitor to the scum and villany of the Space Port, and we use that term loosely. It was busy, and hectic, and seems to be under the scrutiny of several sets of eyes.

Knowhere was bustling with activity. A Shi'ar high ranking officer walks nervously towards the Collector's museum, with two members of the Shi'Ar Imperial Guard on either side of him, looking everywhere to ensure his safety. A Gordanian Slaver was pulling behind him a Tamaranian, roughly collared, the chain linking them together firmly in the hand of the reptile.

Amidst the chaos, was order personified. A unique Green Lantern. Hal Jordan, floats onto the main drag, his boots steping on the ground and a note of distaste on his face. "Another visit to this hell hole."

Grail has posed:
And then there was one other here. A woman in grey with a hood up over her head, her red eyes looking up only briefly but then they come back up. There's a flash of red glow from them as she spots the Gordanian. She has a particular hatred for slavers. She doesn't like anyone who controls the fate of another. She grinds her fingers together briefly and then looks over at the Shi'ar for a momenta nd where he is going. She is about to do something someone else might regret when she blinks at the sight of a human. Sure, a Green Lantern but what appears to be a human all the same.

Grail pushes herself up from the wall she is leaning on and her right foot grinds along the floor briefly before she steps away and starts over toward the Gordanian. For now, she wants to know his purpose and what he is doing with his slave. Just making conversation as she approaches him but her real intention is to not stand out, for now.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Green Lantern looks around the area, and wonders why he was here once more. Ah yes, he was supposed to meet with the Collector. It had taken him three weeks to get an appointment, and so, heads in that direction idly. His eyes spot Grail, but for the moment, he doesn't think anything of it. After all, he didn't know who she was.

Spotting the Gordanian, it was obvious from his expression, that he felt the same way Grail did. Hal and slavers did not get along. What to do. Hal hesitates, and then spots Grail making a beeline for the Gordanian. "Uh oh..."

The Gordanian Slaver pulls on the chain roughly, causing the Tamaranian to stumble, and fall into the mud. Moaning in pain, tears begin to fall from her eyes, she calls out. The Slaver turns, and shouts, "You will get up slave! I have an appointment with the Collector! You are unique, and worth a lot of money!" He pulls on the chain once more. When that doesn't work, the reptile reaches for an electric pole sheathed on his back.

Grail has posed:
Walking in that direction, she was just gonna talk to the Gordanian about the slave but then he has to go and get that electric pole. The action is fast. Insanely fast. A moment Grail is just by the Gordanian and then another moment and she is flicking shut a scythe like weapon. The wicked blade folding back against the haft she produced. The Gordanian doesn't even likely feel it at first. It's something that it might take a moment for him to notice. His arm. It's been severed at the mid point of his upper arm. Blood is already starting to squirt out.

Then Grail turns and another moment of speed and the chain is severed, too. She shakes her head and then turns and starts away from the Gordanian grumbling about people pissing her off even as she slips the scythe back under her cloak, just the barest hint of blood on it. She is reaquiring her sight of the Green Lantern now, almost challenging him to dare to question what she just did.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
Everything happens so fast. The Gordanian screams in agony at the severing of his arm. His right claw grabs his left arm, at the point where the blood is squirting, and he tries to staunch the flow. In the meantime, the Tamaranian struggles to her feet.

The golden skinned woman looks down at the severed chain, summons the courage to blast the Gordanian with her energy blasts (knocking the reptile unconscious), and then stands, almost with a regal stance. The tamaranian looks at Grail, salutes her in her people's fashion, and starts running towards the spaceport.

Hal Jordan watches all this, notes that the Gordanian was already receiving care from a medic team. A very bad medic team. With that out of the way, he turns his attention to the woman who had just done what he wanted to do.

Raising both hands up, Hal Jordan smiles as her gaze glares at him. "Nice work. You didn't kill him. I am surprised. I am sure the Tamaranian lady will get back home. I'll make sure of it." A pause. "What brings you to Knowhere...?" That was an open invitation to name reveals. "I'm Hal Jordan. Green Lantern."

Grail has posed:
Her eyes squint over at the EMTs before looking back to the man speaking to her, "Maybe should have...now he has to deal with this." She looks over at the Gordanian again before shaking her head and looking back to the man known as Hal Jordan. She considers him, "You're human. Seems your kind is everywhere." She nods her head before clearing her throat, "I am Grail." She nods her head and then walks up closer to him, "As for why I am here? Why is anyone here?"

She shrugs and looks in hte direction of the Collector's home and then looks to the Shi'arr and then states, "I'd be more interested why you were heading toward the Collector's Museum. Planning to sell your ring?" She looks to Hal with a smirk.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"I respect that." Hal Jordan looks around Grail at the results of her brand of justice. "Nice work." Hal looks at Grail for a moment, and places his hands on his hips. "Ah yes, I am human. From Earth. You, however, are not." Hal concentrates for a moment, and nods. "Nice to meet you Grail."

Hal Jordan ignores the growling coming from the Gordanian, and the EMTs trying to keep him under control. "Yes. Why is anyone here. Well, I am looking for something. The Collector and I have an appointment. I am not planning to sell my ring, although I suspect, he may already have one or two." Hal looks back at the Museum, and then at Grail.

"I am also curious as to why that Shi'ar is also in a hurry to get there before us." Hal shrugs and waves towards the Collector's home. "Want to join me? We can chat on the way?"

Grail has posed:
A hmm and then she nods her head, "It saves me from simply walking into his museum without an appointment to sate my curiosity." She nods her head and turns to walk with Hal, "I would enjoy seeing the inside of his home without the need for violence." She considers, "Mostly." She nods her head as she walks along with Hal and then looks ahead of him to the Shi-ar and hmms, "I am not sure I necessarily care greatly what the Shi'ar are up to." SHe shrugs, "THeir plans do not typically concern me and are likely not as important as they make it."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Yeah. I know. Something about that Shi'ar is familiar. As are his two bodyguards." Hal Jordan looks at the trio suspiciously as they disappear into the Collector's den. "Anyway. Sure, come along." Hal Jordan walks straight towards the destination. "So, what brings you to Knowhere then?" Hal watches as the medics finally cart the Gordanian away.

The doors to the Collector's Museum are just ahead. Pausing, Hal Jordan stops as a pink-skinned humanoid appears at the entrance, looks at Hal, and says, "You are Hal Jordan." Not a question. "The Collector will see you in 15 adans (minutes)." Her eyes look at Grail. "She does not have an appointment."

The pink-skinned humanoid turns, and heads back inside.

Grail has posed:
A shrug and she states, "Not familiar to me but then I don't care." She nods her head and then considers before looking to Hal and hmming, "Not that it makes your caring any less...umm, important." She considers that a moment and then shakes her head a little. She really is not good at this being nice thing at all. She then blinks at the arrival of the pink humanoid and looks to Jordan before looking to the humanoid.

"I'm with him." She points to Jordan and then shrugs either way as the thing goes back inside and then she looks to Jordan, "Was she supposed to be his body guard or hsi secretary?" She asks before looking forward, "Part of me wants to just go inside." She chuckles, "Not thinking the pink one is gonna be an obstacle."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"I get it. Yeah. The Shi'ar haven't been a player in things lately. I wonder..." Hal Jordan shrugs, and then simply nods as the pink humanoid goes back inside. "Sorry. That was rude. She's his assistant. Not an obstacle." Hal smiles. "I expect that from the Collector though. Rudeness is par for the course." Hal Jordan shrugs.

"I'm here about a certain event taking place. A darkness, permeating the rings." Hal holds up his hand. "A darkness, spreading throughout the Corps. Including the other Lantern Corps. Blue, Red, Yellow...you name it. ALmost...a Blackness."

Hal shivers and adds, "I think the Collector has a Black Ring. I have only heard about it in rumours. It is said to still be on the hand of another Earther named Black Hand. That is why I'm here." Hal sighs, and says, "I have no idea why I told you all that."

Grail has posed:
A look over at Hal and then she nods, "I see, well, then that shouldn't be a problem." She then looks head as she waits and listens to him idly, "So, you are saying that your rings have a black version and there are multiple colors and..." She shakes her head sighs, "Frankly it sounds to me like you all have far too many colors and rings." She nods her head, "Anything in a great number is dangerous." SHe looks over at him, "And unpredictable." She nods her head before looking ahead again.

"Though, none of this really seems to matter to me. Lantern issues are Lantern problems." She shrugs, "I fail to see how you lot having some kind of black sheep ring out there effects the rest of us." She nods her head.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Hey, I hear ya. I agree. I liked it a lot better when there was just one color of ring. Green. Now, there are a bunch. It makes things a lot more complicated than I would like, that is for sure. Especially with the Guardians promoting me to this damn Honor Guard nonsense. I'm a grunt. I like doing the dirty work, and getting my hands dirty, not running these kinds of errands."

Well, there was the frustration bubbling up. "Anyway. Sorry. I don't need to unload that crap." Hal Jordan sighs. "Why this "Lantern Issue" is a problem is, that that Black Ring could be the end of everything. If it is uncontrolled, we could see the dead rise. Zombies of the dead, with Lantern rings that negate the colored spectrum of life." Hal looks sideways at Grail. "Now do you understand why I am worried about this? Black rings represent death...and Nekron is the Guardian of the Dead. Not a good thing."

Grail has posed:
A hmm and then she considers, "Not sure if that would bother an immortal." SHe states and shrugs before considering, "And if this Nekron is such a problem, why not face him head on? At the least find his weakness and destroy him?" She looks over at Hal and tilts her head, "I don't fear...zombies. Whatever they are." She shakes her head, "I definitely don't fear the dead." SHe then nods again before looking ahead, "This all seems like a very strange problem to have." Grail shrugs and rolls a shoulder, "Frankly still unclear about it."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
"Take it from me...even Immortals can die." Hal Jordan says, with a dark cast to his comments. "As for Nekron, he's not something we can face head on. He's the embodiment of death and darkness. He's...just...an entity of the Universe. I have seen Gods and Mortals, Immortals and Celestials fall to his darkness. And it is spreading."

Hal Jordan looks up at Grail, and shrugs. "Even so, thank you for keeping me company. I have a feeling we will meet again. You are a formidable warrior." Hal offers his hand, to clasp in comraderie and friendship. Subtley, Hal uses his ring to reinforce his hand...just in case.

Grail has posed:
A look over to Hal and she takes his hand, giving it a shake and then blinks a few times, "You are welcome. And I suppose you can call me that based on me dispatching one annoying slaver." She nods her head and then looks over to the door before shaking her head, "I am losing my patience. Before I ruin your appointment, I think I'm going to go." She states simply enough, "I will kick down this man's door later." She turns and starts away, "Let me know." She leaves him with a way to contact her, "If you find anything out about these black rings that can kill anyone." She chuckles, "So far, you have my inerest."
