Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Berri Sundae, Andre Jackson

Berri Sundae has posed:
Spare a thought in Gotham for the people who weren't always planning the next big heist, the crazy murderous scheme or the tangling with the heroes. While she'd been operating on New York as of late, hired by a certain would-be Kingpin to oversee some of his deals and having left a small bodycount, the 'right hand girl' for hire had been forced to lay low. Who'd expect someone to do that in Gotham of all places?

Technically, it was Berri's native town, perhaps that was why the girl with the two-tone hair was currently sitting contently at a table by the window, a cup in her hand as she sipped away at her coffee and peered out into the poor weather of Gotham City filling the streets.

Andre Jackson has posed:
Normally Dre wouldn't come to Hot Joe's, something about their apple cider was off. But he didn't have a lot of time to get to his normal spot and besides, the others wanted Hot Joe's anyways. He sighs a little at that thought. Still Dre walks into Hot Joe's and he yawns a little bit. Dre looks around for a long moment as he sees that there is a bit of a line, though he didn't care, he just wanted his Hot Apple Cider.

Berri Sundae has posed:
Despite the strange that was Gotham, Berri's attire, hair and the fact she had a parasol resting near her in this weather probably has her standing out a little. With her hot chocolate in her hands, the girl takes a deep sip and then pulls back with a marshmellow caught between her teeth. Her eyes move over the line, flicking indeed over Dre eventually and bringing a tilt of her head and expression of curiousity.

Andre Jackson has posed:
Dre gets to the counter and ask for a few coffees, but he wasn't ready to leave yet. They told him they would get it ready for him when he's ready to go, they do make him a hot apple cider. He takes a deep sip, than looks around as he sees Berri, studying her for a long moment and he smiles. He walks over to where she sits, "G'morning." he says as he looks to her. "I like your look." he smiles to her. "HOw're you doing?" he asks.

Berri Sundae has posed:
A simple enough approach, but she nods her head regardless. There's a smile to the greeting, but his question isn't answered with the casual or expected "Good". Instead she just shrugs her shoulders, sipping her drink lightly and then lifting a hand to lazily wobble it side to side in the classic 'So-so' gesture. A raise of her eyebrow following made it pretty clear the question was returned...she just wasn't speaking.

Andre Jackson has posed:
He shrugs his shoulder, figuring maybe she doesn't want to talk. He didn't know what to say as he looks to her then to her parasal. "A Parasol?" he asks making sure he is understanding what he is seeing. He shakes his head, "So are you from around....." he shakes his head again, that was lame. Anyone can be here. Rubbing his face a little bit. "Sorry about that. So how're you doing?"

Berri Sundae has posed:
There's a nod from the girl, those two-tone eyes flick over him once more before she's left smirking a little, holding up one hand and reaching behind her to retrieve a notepad from her pocket. Dropping it in front of her, points to her own lips before shaking her head, giving a little smile and then reaching into her pockets once more and coming back with a pen as she begins to write neat and cursive words: <You already asked that. I am okay...>

Andre Jackson has posed:
Blinking, "Oh." he says. "I can a be a bit of a goof sometimes." he says to her. "Do you sign?" he asks and he uses ASL just in case it may be faster to sign than to write. He was a little surprised that she began writing to him.

Berri Sundae has posed:
A blink, she tilts her head, raising her hands and indeed begining to sign. She could, but she didn't expect others to be able to. It wasn't the most common skill out there after all. <<I do,>> she signs, <<I'm impressed that you do however, goof or not.>>

Amused by her own comment, the woman moves to take another sip of her drink before continuing. <<For what it's worth, I am from the city.>>
