A Reunion
Date of Scene: 03 December 2019
Location: Central Park, Manhattan
Synopsis: Hector and Alexis run into each other again.
Cast of Characters: Zorro, Prismatic

Zorro has posed:
Hector walked down the sidewalk wearing a black jacket. He had just finished doing a publicity stunt at the Central Park Zoo and he wanted to go for a walk. He was glad to be out of the Pimpernel costume for once. While it did look nice, it was not very effective in the cold at all. As he walked he stuffed his hands into the Jacket's pockets to warm them up and shuddered a bit from the cold.

As walked down the trail, he heard what sounded like guitar music. Hector, being curious, walked towards the music trying to find the source of it.

Prismatic has posed:
Although guitar wasn't her best instrument, it was the easiest to drag through the snow. She was under a little cover, playing an acoustic guitar nestled close to her body. Her dark hair was again stuffed under its beanie, and her fingers had fingerless gloves to try and help stave off the cold. Her jeans were obviously repaired recently, holes at her knees stitched and embroidered with cheery holly for the season.

Alexis Carr, the spirited girl who had enjoyed a bit of a thrill with Hector and the rest of the cast and stuntmen of Pimpernel, had a top hat with a white ribbon and a bit of plastic holly pinned to it as she finger-picked her way through O Holy Night, nodding along with the music. There's a couple handfuls of change in the hat already, snow resting against its brim.

Zorro has posed:
Hector grinned when he saw the young woman playing the guitar. As he walked up to the girl the snow crunched underneath his feet. As he got closer, he recognized the woman who he used as a fencing partner as the Scarlet Pimpernel. He smiled as he pulled out $10.50 from his pocket and tossed it into the hat. He then grinned and said to her in his Pimpernel voice,
You play well madmosille, very well."

Prismatic has posed:
She straightens a moment, recognizing the voice as Hector smiles down at her, her fingers still drawing up and down the strings as her cheeks flush a little.
"Merci, Monsieur Blakely," she replies brightly, drawing her eyebrows up "Or should I say 'gracias, senor Rodriguez'?" she inquires, drawing to an end of the song, and she stretches her fingers a little bit as she looks up to the actor from her bench.

"Doing another public advertisement for the play?" she questions curiously.

Zorro has posed:
Hector's grin grows wider as he says," Actually, the publicity even ended three hours ago. I did a autograph signing as the Pimpernel at Central Park, it was quite fun actually. What brings you to Central Park on such a cold night?"

Prismatic has posed:
"Ah, well, hoping people fele generous as they walk in the snow." the young woman replies, striking a chord on the guitar and reaching up to adjust it. "Trying to make the ends meet, as it were... steady work's a bit hard to find for me these days." she jokes with a wry smile. "Decided to take a walk in the snow?"

Zorro has posed:
Zorro smiles and says," Yes, wanted to take a walk through Central Park and take a look at the Christmas Decorations around here. They are pretty aren't they?" Upon hearing her reasoning for being out Hector then said," If you ever desperate for work, try talking to me, i can try to get ya job singing somewhere."

Prismatic has posed:
"Oh, I've had a couple of offers, but the arts are a hard and extremely competitive mistress." Alexis comments quietly, her shoulders drawing up. "I was under the impression that New York turns people somewhat cruel. I have to say, I've been surprised. Or they're just looking for another pretty face." Alexis gives a small grin up at Hector as she strums the guitar, and apparently satisfied with the tuning, she picks out a couple of strings.

"Besides, I don't sing. Much. Anymore."

Zorro has posed:
Hector smiled and said to her," Yes, i can understand how you feel about the performing arts as a profession. I started out in the LA thespian scene and believe me, things do tend to be compeitive, and some of my employers have tended to be less than poliet." Upon hearing the comment about NYC and it's tendanxy of making people crue, Hector shruuged and said," I have been raised my entire life on the virtues of kindess and genorosity, listen I take seriously."

Hector suddenly pulls out his phone and, after letting out a sigh, says to you," I gotta go amigo, hope we run into each other again." Hector then puts his phone away and trudges away into the NYC night.
