Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: 183, Erica Reyes

Luminitsa (183) has posed:
It was just after midnight and the parks were starting to empty for the most part. Those who stayed behind now were either late night runners or, most commonly, pairs of lovers out for a stroll as the heat began to subside.

Which is exactly what the older man with a young red on his arm thought was happening. Or, perhaps, more given the lechurous stare he was giving her. She didn't seem to object as he led her back into the woods and backed her into a tree. He thought he had her pinned. The poor fool had no idea what was about to happen.

In the span of a few heartbeats, the redhead has turned the tables. The man is pressed against a tree and she looks, from afar, to be kissing him. Getting up close, or for those with good eye sight, would see her lips don't touch his but there is a soft, ethereal wisp moving from between his lips to her own parted ones. As this happens, the man's heartbeat begins to slow a tiny bit at a time and his eyes start to flutter. And the fear sets in.

Erica Reyes has posed:
Erica is out in the woods, now that it's cool enough, and the night time beckons. She should probably be at home, she should be somewhere safe, tucked in... but that's not who she is, not really. Blonde hair falls in a perfectly sculpted mass of curls, over the black of her long tank top. It's paired with some leggings and chunky heeled boots that were probably never actually meant to be used to hike through the woods. Her senses are on high, the beta relaxed as she prowls and looks for trouble.

At first, she thinks to turn away from that couple, because she's no voyeur. But then the old man's heartbeat stutters and slows, which is not what a heartbeat does in such a situation. There's the snap of a branch underfoot as the blonde moves at speeds no human could manage to move close and reach out to tear the old man away from the woman. Claws pop, and eyes glow that golden hue, and Erica doesn't even have time to mourn her new nail polish.

Luminitsa (183) has posed:
The man is ripped and a rich, dark chucking comes from the redhead. "I was done with him anyhow." The man is still alive. Very much so. He's just very drained and tired. His heart having slowed into a state of 'restful slumber'.

When the young woman straightens, there's elongated canines showing and her eyes glow a bright, blood red. "Well now," she practically purrs. "Aren't you fascinating..." Her second sight is being put to good use as she attempts to see the woman aura and moods and get a feel for exactly what she is beyond, clearly not human.

Erica Reyes has posed:
"You sure as hell are now." Erica's voice is a little throaty, not quite growly but close. Her fangs are extended, and her body posture has a touch of predatory leap waiting to happen radiating from it. Golden eyes will meet red with distrust, and perhaps distaste. "I'm not a fan of people hurting people in the park after dark. ...even if you're not what I'd call a person."

She will watch the other woman a long moment, teeth still faintly parted as if the predator within wants to find that sweet spot where the neck and the body meet, and bite down. "I could say the same. Why don't we just cut the bull, save the time, and tell each other what we are. Because clearly, neither of us are ..normal." There's a richness of amusement at that last word.

Luminitsa (183) has posed:
"Well... What you're holding there is a predator. He stalks the parks at night waiting for women to come out of the bars drunk. What I am is a demon. And if I wanted him dead, he would have been before that branched snapped."

The redhead lets her form shift fully, wings flaring out behind her, tail snapping loose and a pair of black horns growing and curling back her head as fingernails become talons.

"And I'm half human, thank you." A brow arches as Luminitsa watches the new comer. "And you would be...?" Oh, she could hazard a guess, certainly. Generations and generations of knowledge are held within her mind. Still, best to let the girl come out with it herself.

Erica Reyes has posed:
"A human predator. One for law to deal with, not us." Erica might just drop him off somewhere and make a phone call. It can be hard to tell with the blonde beta, who can be.. unpredictable. "He's a slimeball, but he's got nothing that can hold up to what you or I can do."

She watches that transformation, mind skipping over memories from her past, remembering other people, other forms. "Ooh, half. Still doesn't make you normal. And I was born to human parents. Completely, totally, boring humans." Fangs shrink, and the light in her eyes wavers and winks out to leave them their usual brown. "Werewolf." She doesn't elaborate much.

Luminitsa (183) has posed:
"And that's exactly where I would have dropped him. I don't kill. If you check, he's still very much alive."

She lets her own demonic form melt away. It leaves her very much looking like a fully human young woman with long red hair and chocolate brown eyes. She reaches into the back pocket of her jeans and pulls out a layered necklace which is slipped on.

"My name is Luminitsa. I never feed from innocent people. I haven't killed anyone since I got control of this part of myself and I feed ONLY when I must. If I don't feed, I risk a feeding frenzy, at which point I will end up killing several someones. Or I die."

She sighs, shoving her hands into her back pockets. "For what it's worth... You can't possibly loathe it any more than I do."

Erica Reyes has posed:
"Well, you'll have to excuse me for leaping first and asking your intentions later." The blonde's claws retract, and one hand lifts up through her hair, easing it behind her shoulder. "But pesky questions like that can take too long, when life hangs in the balance. I don't need to check, I can hear his heartbeat." It's all matter of fact, as if it doesn't matter to the beta one way or the other.

There's a long moment of silence, as the blonde watches the transformation back, takes in the accessories, the outfit. "Erica." She's not exactly chatty and small talk, but that could be blamed on her Alpha. "I get along fine on cheeseburgers and salad." There's a dry tone to those words, amusement and a touch of self mockery.

Her left eyebrow wings up in an arch. "I couldn't possibly loathe what any more than you do?"

Luminitsa (183) has posed:
"I'm half demon... Half succubus to be precise... Life energy is required for me or else I'll die. I much prefer a good burger and fries though." There's a touch of wry humor in Lumi's voice before she motions to the man Erica is holding. "What I have to do."

A deep breath is taken and then she smirks. "Nothing to excuse. It's good to know someone is out there protecting people... I'm not the only demon in this city and most don't show the restraint I do. Be careful when you face them though. They aren't to be taken lightly." And then there's a chuckle. "But I get the feeling you aren't either..."

Hand goes back to her pocket and she smiles, her teeth now perfectly normal.

Erica Reyes has posed:
"You can't find someone to like, ..donate?" She shrugs. She knows there are people out there with an abundance of life energy.. herself included. All part and parcel of her big life makeover that she enjoys. There's barely a glance spared for the man, that she moves and gently deposits to sit on some grass. " I never said I loathe it. Because frankly, I hadn't given that much thought. I sort of pity it, really. Not you, but that you have to make those choices." She doesn't look like someone who would be into philosphy. She looks more like the pretty blonde mean girl every high school is required to have.

There's a twist of her lips that forms a smirk. "I don't think I'd go rushing in to fight a demon. I'm confident in my skills, but.. I prefer to know my enemies, when given the choice."

Luminitsa (183) has posed:
Lumi's eyes rest on the girl a moment before she grins once more. "Haven't so far. He'll regain his strength after some rest, by the way. It's not permanent."

A step back is taken. "You should come back Afterlife in Greenwich some time. There's a cafe there. Lunch is on me." And then she chuckles. "Good policy, by the way. It was nice meeting you Erica but I should be going. Hopefully, I'll see you soon." And with that, the girl turns to make her way out of the park and to the left towards home.

Erica Reyes has posed:
Erica will sling the man over her shoulder carelessly and leave him on a sidewalk under a light pole. She will keep that face, that location in mind. Never know what she might do when she's bored.
