Cast of Characters: Thor, Kid, Doctor Strange

Thor has posed:
The doors between dimensions...or realms, in this case, do not open frequently. Hoewever...something definitely happened. And a portal made of pure fire appears in the sky.

Out of the fire in the sky drops a creature...that seems to be more or less made of fire. In fact, it's about as made of fire as something biological can be that isn't a true elemental. It looks like a beast of some kind, with fangs and claws. It moves with the speed of a prairie fire, blown by the wind. And since it landed in a park, it naturally sets everything around it on fire. It's not actively TRYING to set things on fire, it simply does by combusting anything it touches, or anything that touches it.

From above, the Bifrost zooms in, the rainbow bridge depositing the King of Asgard in front of the being of fire. "Halt! You do not belong here!"

Kid has posed:
Well, a park was a fantastic place to go romping in the snow! Chili air felt nice on fur. Untill suddenly the ring of fire in the sky sent the temperature blazing. He soak off his suddenly wet coat as he noticed...fire. Alot of fire. Yea that wasn't good.

Kid would naturally begin heading over, wondering who it was...and than what as he saw the massive beast. Alien? Lab Experiemnt...wait...was that Thor? Demon. He is now guessing demon.

But at the moment it didn't matter, as folks could get hurt. As such, Kid sends our a telepathic suggestion ("Yalls best get out of the park unless you want to be rotisseried. And someone call 911, theres fire and a monster in the damn park.") hopelly the suggestion take root and folks begin to flee.

Doctor Strange has posed:
"That's not..." Stephen exclaims to no one, as he looks up from the nothingness that rest before him and the wizard's mind returns to the self, the mind and body meld back into a singular being and Stephen Strange opens his formerly scrying eyes. With a sort of stretch the man's boots touch the floor as he uncrosses his legs from sitting on an invisible stool. Strange summons his cloak to himself and then turns to take a step out of his study, and reality itself seems to ripple suddenly against the magics of Doctor Strange.

A man is suddenly in the park, not too far off from the beast that finds itself suddenly upon midgard, along with the blonde god of ... thunder was it?

This is going to end well. Stephen thinks to himself as he reaches his hands up to bring the snow down more so than it had been. A simple way to fix a disasterous problem. "New York in winter is a poor place for such a beast." Stephen says towards Thor as he swirls his hands through the air and the gesture causing a flurry of flurries to whip about and fall upon the flames in a hurry.

Thor has posed:
The fire outside is frightful, but the snow is so delightful...since Muspelheim has no place to go, let it snow let it snow let it snow.

The snow is instantly melting every time it touches the creature, but melted snow is water. And the water is surely not healthy for such a creature. The creature lashes out, as if the snow is painful to it. It lashes out first at the thunder god in front of it, with a firey claw!

Thor simply meets the blow with Mjolnir, as if slapping its paw away. "Nay. You must not stay here. It may take time, but that fire is your life. And in this realm, fires can be extinguished."

The creature roars in an alien language that sounds like the roar of a fire. /I shall burn all that is, Asgardian!/

The civilians do in fact run away, as a massive fire monster isn't healthy for anybody.

Kid has posed:
Kid small ears twitch. Why the heck does this creature want to burn everything? Right....demon...maybe? It seems the God of Jerks (Kid still doesn't like Thor atm) was...talking to him, so maybe not so bad? If nothing else he recognized Thor was a Hero.

He also recognized Doctor Strange from prior engagements...double trouble for the beasty.

Kid gets closer, now that the rest of the people ran away. He decides not to speak up yet. Perhaps this will be resolved peacefully, and they can roast marshmellows on the beasties fiery mane. So for now, he just stands by.

Doctor Strange has posed:
A second spell is prepared by Strange to make sure the beast will feel no falling snow from the now intense winter blizzard localized over the park. "You threaten this realm once again creature and you will answer to me, the Sorcerer Supreme of this, the Midgardian realm."

Hetephen pops his hands out as punctuation to his words, large mandalas form from his fists outwards and appear to be a sort of barrier spell in order for the wizard to use as a defensive shield but this a magi of the highest order, who knows what they may truely be.

Thor has posed:
The snow over the creature is less now, and it hurts less. /What? Why does your ally show me kindness, Asgardian?/

"...Because your death isn't necessary. My friend can easily make a portal back to Muspelheim. If you take it when he opens one, you will be safe. Just...walk away."

/But I was sent to.../

"Maim, murder, etc? Whoever sent you sent you to your death, because they probably didn't guess at mercy any more than you did. Go home...and speak firmly with whoever sent you, regardless of reason."

/I...this is not a thing I am used to./

"No doubt. But Midgard is a different place than Muspelheim."

Kid has posed:
    Well...this was a strange turn of events....maybe..

Kid decides to interupt. He continues to sign, his watch speaking for him. By now he was fairly close to Strange, Thor and The Monster...preferably outside of the Magically Made Blizzard.

"Errr...Before you go home and all that - ever had marshmellows? I'm just saying, that fire of yours looks perfect for cooking some" The gorilla looked...arkward. He wasn't quite used to 'nice'.

"Also hi. Nice to meet you. I'm Kid...and I would greatly appreciate you not burning the place to the ground."

Doctor Strange has posed:
Stephen's hand falls to his side as he dispells his defensive spell with a snap of his wrist. "I would like to take some time to speak to this figure that used you in such a -" Strange turns his attention over towards Kid and blinks a trio of times.

"You do realize that simply by living and breathing in our world this creature poses great danger to those within... I think it would be unwise to tarry for the sake of sugar..." Stephen says rather flatly before he turns to the side and he reaches both hands into nothingness and pulls open a hole in reality, that spits fire and flames lick through the impossible doorway as Strange gives the creature a chance to return to Muspelheim.

Thor has posed:
This is clearly a creature that has never known kindness in its life. /I...uh...I thank you, Asgardian. This is unheard of. And your allies also./

Thor nods, "Thank you. It's appreciated. I will not forget you...your name?"

/I am called Ash...I believe I am supposed to leave my enemies in Ash. To yout friend Kid...I wish him well, but it is true, I cannot stay without causing damage./ The creature heads to the portal.

"And bid your masters this...Thor Odinson showed you greater kindness than those who sent you, as well as Sorcerer Supreme Strange and Kid.

The creature...actually leaves. Score one for diplomacy.

Kid has posed:
Kid seems dissappointed, and sighs. But he signs "Alright. Well if you ever find a way not to kill earth by standing around, come visit!" he gets along better with monsters than he did with most 'normal' people as it were. Than again, nothing about peoples lives these days were normal.

This was probably a normal sunday at this point.

"Well, if one of you are up for it...marshmallows on me, if we can still find a burning tree" he swear he can hear sirens in the distance. Than again it was NYC...when can you not hear sirens? Though he did glance to Thor warily, less so to Strange.

Doctor Strange has posed:
Strange isn't one to linger long as he's got much to worry about with his position as the sorcerer supreme and the wizard takes his leave without much to say, though he does give Kid and then Thor a sharp knowing kind of appreciative nod. "Take care, be careful." Strange says before he takes a step to his right and in that instant is just, gone as if he was never there befoe.

The storm dies down with a fall of heavy snow that lightens rather quickly as the magic behind it fades away.
