Not A Blessed Clue
Date of Scene: 22 December 2019
Location: Study Hall - Xavier's School
Synopsis: Bean manages to clear up Shannon's confusion about his prior lesson on firearms. Perhaps there is also an 'unofficial' student? Plans are made to gradually introduce the manison's resident furry friends to each other. Shannon could not be prouder of how far Bean has come in his time at the school!
Cast of Characters: Nightingale, Samuel Morgan, Pixie

Nightingale has posed:
The DR room session a night or two ago had been a very confusing and somewhat shocking one for Shannon. Despite her momentary flashes of insight, the world of hand-to-hand combat and firearms was still largely a mystery to her. And this was /not/ as she liked it. So, rather than look like an idiot in front of her bestie, she drags her laptop to the study hall, to try looking up a few things on her own, and see if she could make sense of it before the next training session came up. Hey--a girl's got her pride, you know!

Samuel Morgan has posed:
It's not a usual sight to see Bean in here. More likely to be found in the garage, or the library, and occasionally in the rec room, the study hall is not the native habitat of the Greater Scarred Bean. Quite unprecedented even is his poise and pose... relaxed, with a pair of high fidelity headphones blocking out all exterior sound. Even Bear is curled up relaxed by his side, seemingly asleep or at least dozing, with nothing to do now that his human appears to be perfectly content. Clearly then, this is the homework he'd promised Alexis to do, finding music he likes...

Nightingale has posed:
Hopefully, Bean isn't looking over at the wrong moment, or he'd see some rather gruesome images of gunshot wounds to various parts at point blank range. He'd also see a rather confused Shannon going through the motions of disarming a phantom opponent, look down at her hand, and then at the images. Shaking her head, she lets out a deep sigh, and just flops down in her chair again. She felt like a complete idiot, and did not like that one bit, but there had to be something she was missing, or some way she had failed to phrase her question clearly the other night. But what could it be?

Samuel Morgan has posed:
There is little fear of Bean seeing anything right now. Not only is he lost in the music, but his eyes are closed, one hand idly stroking through Bear's fur. What could possibly be holding his attention like that? At length though, he nods along to the music and his smile brightens, mouthing along with what must be either the chorus or the breakdown. Is that 'you choose' that he's repeating? Hmmm. A lip reader might even see the term 'tomahawk cruise' in there as well. Then, finally, his eyes open and he spots Shannon practically instantly. The headphones come down around his neck, the music player switched off and replaced into his pocket. Patting Bear to get him up, the teen mutant heads over to his friend. "Hi there. What's up?"

Nightingale has posed:
Crap. Busted. Inside of a few heartbeats, Shannon's face is aflame. While she does close her laptop--hopefully before Bean can see it with his eyes--she's not entirely sure if he'll be having a chat with her computer anyways to find out what was going on. "Just... trying to not be such an idiot. And failing miserably." She smiles lightly, and lifts her chin in the direction of his headset. "What about you? Not sure I remember you ever going around with those on."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Homework." is all Bean says with a smile, sitting down oppose Shannon and giving a meaningful glance at that laptop, half smiling, one eyebrow raised. Closing the lid on a laptop is not going to hide anything from a technopath. He doesn't go looking, he doesn't pry... but some things are instinctual. "Well, you're obviously not an idiot, so I think that maybe you've got a few questions that you'd like answered?"

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods slowly, and smiles a bit. "Ah, the homework Alexis gave you." Her voice is tinged with a bit of sadness and lingering upset as she says the name, but she says nothing about it otherwise. Instead, she shrugs, glancing at the laptop. "Either I didn't phrase my question the right way the other day, there was something I was missing in that disarming exercise you showed us, or both. Either way, I feel like I made a complete fool of myself and won't let that stand."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Got an idea of what next to study on the guitar now." and Bean's smile doesn't fade, dropping his left hand down to scritch Bear between the ears. He must have found something that resonates.

"If something wasn't clear, then that's my fault as a tutor, not your fault as a student." A nod at the laptop. "I know you're not familiar with firearms, but I didn't know just how unfamiliar you were until a few days ago. Want to go figure it out in simulated reality, or would you like me to go over the theory again? Or both, I have time."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon shakes her head. "No, you were almost painfully clear, it's likely just something simple that I missed. Unfortunately, though, I'm not sure reading is going to cut it this time." Running her fingers through her hair, she lets out a long, slow sigh, her brows furrowing with frustration. "On one hand, the way you showed us to disarm an opponent who has a firearm seemed effective. But on the other, how on earth can it result in just a bruise to the hand, when a bullet hitting you at point-blank range is going to go in deep, no if's, and's, or but's? And likely with a nasty little powder burn, to boot."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Another nod, and Bean seems to think about it for a moment. "I think... Yeah, I think that the problem here is that I left the pistol unloaded so it wouldn't Miss Carr any more than it already had." And so he stands, stretching for a moment. "Let's go run that again with a loaded pistol, and I'll show you what I mean."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods, and at least she's dressed lightly enough that having to move around a lot won't cause her to overheat indoors. She's just in some bright blue leggings, her Tweety Bird t-shirt, and old white sneakers. Packing up her laptop, she uses a couple of pens to pin her hair up in a bun, and follow Bean on down to the DR. "Yeah, maybe I should've told you I'd never handled or dealt with firearms at all. I mean okay, the basic mechanics of the pin, the bullet, the explosion in the barrel, that's pretty obvious stuff. I mean, how else do you get the powder burns on wounds you hear about on autopsies all the time?" Yeah. Her background as the mortician's daughter is coming through pretty clearly here, as the two walk and talk.

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"If you get powder burns near a gunshot wound, they were shot at extremely close range." Bean mentions on the way down, always trying to teach when he can. But inside the Danger Room, the first thing he does before loading up a simulation is loading up some simulated ear protectors for Bear, fitting them snugly over the ears of his canine friend, and then creating a comfortable doggy bed and some squeaky toys. After all, he doesn't want Bear to join in on the training, and leaving him outside just seemed cruel.

In the middle of the room, the frozen gunman appears, pistol outstretched, without the bar around him. "You remember the safety precautions?"

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon sighs and shakes her head. "No, I was too focused on trying to figure out the whole mess. Afraid this is going to take a few times to sink in." Somehow, an artist would be able to discover new shades of red in her face, as she glances between the frozen gunman and Bean, chagrin and frustration written all over her features. "About the only thing I was even close to sure of was powder burns showing up from being shot at close range. Which is why it was so confusing that disarming someone like that would only result in the bullet being jammed back in the chamber, and a bruise instead of a gaping wound and powder burns."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Okay, not a problem. That's why we're here." Bean smiles and goes to stand where he stood before and motions to his right. "If you stand behind me and to my right, you'll be safe. Now, remember, this time the pistol is loaded. I'll disarm this enemy twice. First at full speed, and then in slow motion." It should be noted that, the first time he did this, he was in very tight clothes, and now he's in his usual hoodie with a set of earphones dangling from his neck. Either he's supremely confident, or certain that it won't matter to the whole technique.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn had booked the danger room prior to this, but unfortunately she arrives somewhat late, having been called back after class to discuss her term paper assignment in Emma's class. With a soft sigh, she steps into the room, dressed in her ew Mutants blue and gold uniform only to find it's already preoccupied...Or is this another test? "Heeey what's going on?" she peers around curiously.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods slowly, moving to stand behind and slightly to the right of Bean. This time, with live fire, she keeps her wings tucked in tightly behind her, and braces herself for the report of the shot. "I think the slow motion will help, because there's probably something I missed the first time around. And it's probably something simple."

As if her embarrassment at her stupidity wasn't enough with just Bean, a wild Megan now appears! Her appearance is highly effective in turning her face yet another shade of red! "Not much, just me being a total bloomin' idiot."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Probably, but try to..." And there Bean's explanation trails off, looking over towards the entrance just a split second before Megan steps in. It's an odd position to be caught in, with a pistol practically to his chest, especially because he's not known to be bulletproof. "Oh, hi. I'm just running through a training simulation with Shannon. There's ehmm... there's going to be gunfire." And yes, he's aware that he's not authorised to teach this to anyone else just yet. Or to teach, full stop, until Sam signs off on his work. But someone just walking in? Well, he can't stop them, can he?

"Don't make me pinch you, Shannon."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks at the two of them, peering at the gunman simulation, laughing a bit nervously. "Erm...Welll...I DID book this room ahead of time, but I was late. But this looks cool, could I join you? Actually I was recently held at gunpoint and it was super scary...I'd really love to learn how to protect myself against firearms...Can you teach me too? Pretty please?"

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon scratches her head a little bit, and shrugs. "That one's up to Bean. I'm not sure if he's cleared to teach beyond Alexis and I yet. If not... we can head out and just take care of this another time, not a problem. We had no idea the DR was booked already, and apologize for that."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Conundrum. On the one hand, the right response is obviously to walk away and do this another time. On the other hand, Bean wanted to run this class because incidents with mutants and guns were on the rise, and teaching safety was important.

"This is part of a longer class. You should really do all of it, or what I'm going to show is extremely dangerous. Not just to yourself, but to people around you." It's delivered in as serious a voice as Bean can muster, and from someone trained as he is and with a teutonic upbringing, that's very stern indeed. "I'm also not allowed to teach this to anyone except Shannon and Miss Carr yet. So I cannot teach you."

After that, he turns back to the gunman and smiles, privately, as he continues that sentence. "But I can't stop you from learning. For your own safety, please don't stand to my left."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods and smiles some, motioning for Megan to stand behind her--which is ultimately behind Bean and to his right. "Probably the safest spot over here. When you were shot at, was it that one time when Cannonball, me, and you were out and things went south pretty quick? The time where I got hit by a stray bullet in the lower left leg?" She frowns somewhat, her brows furrowing. "Or was it another time?"

Glancing back over at Bean, once Megan is at least in a safer position than she was before, she nods once, peering closely at the simulation, and his reaction to it. Perhaps this time, she would figure out what she didn't catch on to during the previous lesson. Maybe.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles, "It's okay, I won't tell anyone, won't you teach me? Please?" she makes cutesy mousy eyes at Shannon and Samuel, knowing she has the upper edge as she DID book this room first after all, even if she was a bit late. She does arch a curious brow though, "Um why are only you and Alexis cleared for firearm training? That's a dumb rule.."

Except when he explains the class that she missed, it makes more sense..She smirks at his ultimate response and nods eagerly, stepping behind Shannon, "Heyy I'm a fast learner, shoot away!"

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Bean waits until Megan is out of the dangerous area before he even starts to talk, double checking the position of his one official student and one unofficial one, and then turning to face the gunman. "Right. So, I've talked about misdirection, about keeping your hands moving and what to be careful of. So I won't go through those details again, this will be a purely technical breakdown. First, at full speed."

Again his hands come up like a man in complete surrender, moving slightly from side to side, up and down... And then he moves. It's not quite like lightning, but if you're not expecting it, it's very hard to follow.

    *SLAP*

*BANG* a loud gunshot sounds and a bullet flies off into the distance, ricocheting around.

*CRACK* That... that one was new.

The next moment, Bean clubs the gunman in the head with his own pistol, who goes down like a sack of spuds. "Right, freeze simulation." Time, obediently, stops.

He's holding the pistol with his right hand wrapped around the top of the slide, smoke still drifting slowly from the barrel, frozen in time. Half of the barrel is actually exposed, as if the slide has failed to close entirely. "Okay, come here and I'll show you what it looks like after a disarm."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon steps forward, hands held behind her back, and leans in a little bit to peer closely at the gun held in Bean's hand. Her first reaction? Pursed lips and a soft -hmmph-. Her second reaction? Looking more closely at the gun, and frowning slightly. "So I was mistaken, it's the action of the slide that causes the bruising? Ugh. I feel so... stupid." What else did she miss in the process, during the prior lesson?

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks blinks as she tries to focus on every movement that Bean ,Ames, although he does move pretty quickly. "Misdirection, move in close, move around lots..Got it.." she knows the basics of dealing with a gun although Bean is clearly more experienced. She is actually ratty surprised, having thought he was the same age as her at least. Why's he teaching such an advanced class? Probably more attentive student than she is to be sure..She nods wordlessly, stepping closer to get a better look. "Umm...That sounds like it hurts..But I guess no pain, no gain right?" she laughs nervously, wishing she had super healing or super toughness like some mutants. Her close encounter with a gun makes her nervous of firearms lately..

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Rather than say anything, Bean takes the pistol in his left hand with just two fingers, and slowly unfolds his hand from the slide. This exposes the extraction port, half open, and an imprint of the port left on his palm where, it seems, hot gas had scalded the skin. The case of the bullet that was fired is jammed sideways in the port, preventing it from closing and stopping the action from picking up the next round.

"As you can see, the pistol is jammed only half closed, and unable to fire because no round can be loaded. It is out of battery, which is the technical term for a firearm that is in an unsafe position to fire a shot." He shows his right hand, with the scald and all. "This happens because when a shot is fired, some hot gas is always trapped, and pistols tend to use that pressure as a way to force the slide back. As the slide comes back, the gas escapes through the ejection port. Because I have my hand over the ejection port, two things happen. The case of the bullet can't fully extract, and the gas can't escape. That's why you see the barrel smoking, the gas is trying to find its way out that way."

Then he points down to the gunman, who is not just down, but his right index finger is... well, let's say it's not in its correct configuration. "And as I said earlier, if you do this, you will break your opponent's trigger finger. You have to be ready to do that."

Lastly, he looks at Megan, and slowly shakes his head. "No. You do not move in close, you let them move close to you, or you will be shot in an instant. You have to close the reactionary gap. I explain what that is in the full session, which is why you really need to sit through the full class before doing this."

Nightingale has posed:
Finally! A lightbulb seems to appear over Shannon's head, and she nods, something of a smile replacing her formerly self-depreciating look. "See, this makes sense. And I'm going to insist on healing you, for having to get injured to knock these rocks out of my head." She glances down at the gunman, her smile fading a little. "Better a broken finger, than worse. At least that can be set and healed fairly easily."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks as she listens, flinching at the sight of the scalding on his hands and bites her lip. "Oooh ouch, okaaaay...I'll be sure to take that class then.." she shivers, having always felt nervous around guns. "Soooo one should be more reactionary, rather than proactive around guns.." she shivers at the thought, those things scare her, but it's good to know.

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Despite this being a simulation, Bean grips the pistol properly, aims it away from everyone, drops the magazine and racks the slide twice to make sure it's fully unloaded. Some action drills just can't be unlearned. Rather than spring high up, the jammed case simply falls out without any momentum behind it. The pistol is dropped on top of the gunman's chest, and Bean walks back to his starting position.

"We'll talk about healing afterwards. But in summary, no, when dealing with firearms, you have to act proactively in your own defense. First part of that is knowing the area, knowing the difference between concealment and cover, and being aware of your surroundings. Things, when they happen, tend to happen quickly, as I'm sure you've noticed. Now, I'll do this again in slow motion. You can stand a bit closer this time, but still to my right." And so the gunman re-appears, blissfully unaware of what's going to happen to him.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon frowns slightly at this, and shakes her head, crossing her arms over her chest. "Not if it's going to mean live fire and you taking a second burn unnecessarily. Please, no live fire this time? You shouldn't suffer for my having a thick skull."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn winces a bit, being the one to feel dumb this time. Didn't he say earlier that one should react first...? But she bites her tongue, nodding wordlessly and moving a bit closer. "Yeahhh...I'm ready, go on..." she should really take that class..

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Again, Bean stands with his hands up in front of the gunman. Time seems to be moving at a very strange rate... and this time, he even has time to provide commentary as he goes through the disarming technique. "So, as you move your hands, your aim is to distract and to normalise that movement. You want to look panicked but not insensible. Compliant but not submissive. You should, under no circumstances, give any indication that you're about to do this..."

Moving his entire upper body as a spring, Bean rotates to his left and slams his right hand in the forearm of the gunman, who has no time to react. "Now, you want to hit the forearm, not the elbow or the wrist, or the gun might pivot towards you and then you just get shot for your effort. Because you are pushing in a direction a normal gun stance doesn't brace against, the arm is forced away from your assailant but, more importantly, away from you!"

Next, still half turned, he drops his right shoulder and moves in, shoulder against the gunman's chest to push him ever so slightly off-balance, grabbing the gun with both hands. His right hand wraps around the top of the slide, his left braces his right to add more power to the grip. "Now you have a hold of the weapon, and you are nearly in control of the situation. Twist the weapon to the right, where it is only braced against one finger, the index finger."

The pistol is twisted and Bean takes a step at the same time, towards the pistol, adding even more force to the moment of torque. The gunman's hand opens in reflex, having been twisted far to the right. The index finger tangles in the guard, the pistol twists further, and the trigger is pulled just before that finger breaks. The hammer falls, there is a dry click. "Normally, this is where the pistol will fire..."

With contemptuous ease, Bean pulls the pistol upwards, out of the gunman's now open grip. "Now you have the weapon and are in control of the situation. You now have three option. The first is to go for ultimate humiliation, and brain your attacker with his own weapon." He gives a bit of a smile at that.

"The second is to drop the weapon and continue with hand to hand techniques. That's more dangerous, because someone might pick up the pistol or it might clear as it hits the ground, potentially firing another shot if it's not properly secure. But if you go this route, you are now facing an enemy who is still wondering how they went from having you at gunpoint to you standing to their right, and wondering why their hand suddenly hurts so much."

"The third option I won't discuss, but you would normally use in cases of multiple assailants. It involves using the weapon you have just liberated, and that's for an entirely different class. Questions?"

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon shaking her head, she smiles somewhat. "None at this time. This part actually makes sense. It'll come down to putting it into actual practice." Stealing a glance at Megan, she tries to gauge her reaction to the idea. The other girl's fear had not been lost on her, and she had no wish to make it worse for her.

"Hey... you know, Megan, you're doing pretty well for someone who faced down being shot."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn meeps as she watches, practically anticipating more bruising, although thus is all pretty fascinating. She does flinch at the whole finger breaking thing. Eeeeek that looks like it totally hurt! Could she do that if needed? She's not sure.. "Ummm Wow, you really know a lot about guns...I dunno if I'd be able to shoot someone with one though..." let's hope it never comes to that. She smiles bashfulky at Shannon and shrugs, "Ummm I guess I got lucky, two suoerheroes came to my rescue just in the nick of time...I probably shouldn't have wandered so far from the institute.." That last part is muttered quietly. Cuz she didn't have a chaperone. And might get in trouble for it if anyone found out. Oh wait...They Just...She Just..lMeeep?

Samuel Morgan has posed:
The gun, the gunman, everything related to the lesson vanishes. That leaves Bear still happily playing with his toys some way off, half in and half out of his doggy bed, the ear defenders still in place. And yes, Bean had oriented the demonstration so that Bear was never in any potential line of fire.

Being out without a chaperone? He's done that before, and by far not all of those incidents were known to staff, so he can understand the hesitation, and doesn't comment on it. Instead he chooses to answer the remark about firearms. "I had some training. Some training that I'm hoping to pass on to people who want to learn. But that's up to Mister Guthrie, he has to clear me for teaching first." All the more difficult because it involves Bean handling firearms. That's likely still a big red flag.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon grins a bit at Megan, chuckling lightly. "Who stepped in to help you, out of curiosity?" Yeah. As for one being out without a chaperone? Well, she had no room to talk, on more than a few occasions! "Hey... I won't say anything about wandering that far from home if you won't." A knowing look is given to Bean, and she smiles a bit. Yeah, she knew the source of his knowledge and no way was she talking. Nope. No way, no how.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks slowly. "Wooow, that's really impressive Bean, I..." her phone beeps then, reminding her of a makeup exam she owes Ms. Frost. "Meep! I totally furgit, I gotta run, but thanks sooo much for teaching me this stuff! I'll definitely have to check out this firearms class! I had this room booked for two hours but feel free to use it til then!" she shrugs at Shannon, "Didn't catch their names, some girl with super speed and strength and another that shrank one of my assailants to mouse size! Gotta run, laterz!"

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Remember, don't try this unless there is no other alternative." Bean warns just as the phone beeps, and he smiles at Megan. "Thanks for dropping by and paying attention. See you later."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon grins a bit at Bean and offers him a hug, as Megan's heading out the door. "Thanks for clearing that up. And please... please let me heal your hand, since you incurred that for the sake of knocking a few rocks out of my head? It'll heal pretty fast, don't worry." Yes, it's time to turn the full force of the... Puss-In-Boots eyes on poor, hapless Bean! But is the attack effective?

Samuel Morgan has posed:
Ah, the dreaded look! It has never failed in the past, and even though Bean was ready for it this time, it was still very effective. "You know..." he says as he holds out his hand. "If things go well, I'm going to be teaching this class a lot. And there's no better way to show how dangerous this is than by having that pistol loaded. If you let this heal, it'll hurt less in future."

Nightingale has posed:
"And you really think that's going to stop me? You should know better by now. It's been a freaking long time since I've been allowed and been actually -able- to heal anyone effectively." There was a driving need to heal others that could not be ignored, and to have that sidelined for as long as it had been, well, it had apparently not done Shannon's temper much good of late. "If it helps any," she adds, gently taking hold of Bean's hand. "There are enough similarities between my gift and Chris', to where it's very possible my gift could be trained, and become like his. So healing may not always happen this way."

Holding Bean's hand between her own, she closes her eyes. There's the soft hiss from Shannon, the gentle, tingling warmth in his palm, and a few seconds of relative silence as she absorbs the damage that was done. When all is said and done, she releases her hold and steps back. "This will probably be gone before morning. Next one, I won't step in, but this time, it was only right."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Training is important." Bean nods, and that's probably why he's allowing this in the first place. It used to be a lot harder to convince him, but now that he knows that Shannon's abilities improve with use, it's less of an issue. A little less, at least. "So, you're comfortable with what I've taught you?"

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods and smiles. "Yes. You might think it odd, but it's precisely your past training that makes me quite comfortable learning this from you. You definitely know what you're doing. Besides, you're teaching self-defense right now, not actual use of said firearms. Best way to win a fight? One, don't be there. Two, if you have to be there, defend yourself the right way, and that's what you're teaching."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"As my combat instructor used to say, unless you're ordered to start a fight, don't. But if you're in a fight, end it as quickly as you can." Yup, Bean had some... interesting instructors. Since the training is over, he heads over to Bear and carefully removes the ear defenders, spending at least half a minute hugging and fussing his doggy pal, and then motions to be followed. "Anything else you want to do while we have the room? I'm planning on going to my room and getting some guitar practice in. Can't do much more on the train until the tracks have been laid down anyway."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon chuckles a little bit, and shrugs. "If there's a ring course, I'd be intrigued to see if my top flight speed has improved since coming here. When I first had it clocked a week or two after arriving, my top was about 65 mph. It's less critical, though, so I leave that one up to you." She grins from ear to ear as she sees Bean and Bear, chuckling softly as she flexes her wings. "Oh... that reminds me, I need to find a vet for Squeakers, and make sure he gets snipped." Yep, she might have found her Christmas kitty by accident, but that didn't mean she wasn't going to be responsible about his care!

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"One day, we need to get Squeakers, Warrior Joe, Bear and Brad's guide dog..." yes, Bean had forgotten the poor dog's name. "... all together. They're going to run into each other at some point, they can probably smell each other already, so we might as well introduce them."

Nightingale has posed:
"Holly. I think Brad's dog's name is Holly." Shannon smiles a bit to herself, and nods. "Yeah, I've kind of been thinking on that. Since animals introduce themselves to each other by scent, what if we started by each of us taking items that has the scent of the other animals on it, and let that kind of serve as a 'calling card'. A sort of non-threatening introduction, and then see how they react? We could gauge how to move forward from there."

Samuel Morgan has posed:
"Sounds like a plan to me." Bean smiles as he starts to head out of the danger room. "Always listen to the expert."

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon gives Bean a quick hug and smiles. "Indeed. I just did." By the look of things, she couldn't be one bit prouder of her bestie. "You've come so far in such a short time. Just think about where you were when you arrived here. And now look at you! I am incredibly proud of you."
