Synopsis:	Misfit learns there are vampires in Gotham and has a message to deliver from Selene to Batman

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene's out here in the Narrows tonight with two Death Dealers. They've shrugged off muggings, and....ended up on a sidewalk. Selene's on edge, something's not sitting right with her. Ever since her failed meeting....Selene's been out of the estate, once it got dark. She's here, itching to do what she does best. fight. Out here in the Narrows though, it's quiet.

"Hey lady. Got a dime?" Selene hears. She keeps walking, the figure springing up as Selene looks over. Great. Homeless people wanting a fight? Great. Least it's not lycans...this time.

Misfit has posed:
Tonight Charlie is on Narrows duty.

Which is honestly one of the most exciting patrol zones in the city with the sheer amount of crime. I mean around any corner, in every alley, and inside every sleazy bar the chances are high of running into someone who would as soon stab you than look at you.

Case in point, apparent homeless man who thinks it is a good idea to spring up and move to mug or something a lady dressed in some badass leather with her two associates right there.

Then again maybe he isn't alone.

Misfit perches up on the roof above eyes scanning, her goggles doing pretty good starlight amplification. Trying to get a sense of the scope of the problem before leaping down to stop a mugging really.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene's got her Berettas out and aimed at the homeless guy. Her two Death Dealers both have dual Uzis. Selene didn't tell them to bring it. When she said the Narrows...big guns came out. Still, the homeless guy is pleading for money. Selene puts her guns back in her coat, and pulls out a dime. Flipping it in the air....the homeless guy laughs, and eight guys with knives close in on them. Selenesighs and goes for her guns again. She spins on a heel, spraying enough lead to give any doctor doing lead tests a heart attack. She's put more rounds into buildings than hitting the guys with knives. Admittedly, the smell of soiled pants is coming from the street.Selene's speaking to them, the men stopping moving to listten, then she turns, seeming to look to them. In reality, she's showing her fangs. The men come to her and seem to surround her and..d protect her and her Death Dealers.

"Dal with the homeless vampire" Selene says, loud enough to be heard on the roof. "All of you spread out and make sure nobody comes here. Make an example of failing the coven" she tells the Deth Dealer nearest the homeless guy. He draws a knife and stabs pathetically at the Death Dealer. She at least has the smarts to talk him out of it and shove him in a dumpster. The rattle of Uzi fire echoes fro, the dumpster for a moment, Selene standing with her new friends. She then looks around. The homeless guy's dealt with. That's what happens when you fail the coven, and don't make the grade.

Misfit has posed:
"What the ever living heck..." mutters Charlie as she witnesses the encounter play out.

Okay it doesn't entirely surprise her that the lady in the Narrows in Leather with her two thugs is packing and the thugs are packing.

It doesn't surprise her that the homeless guy was working with some sort of crew.

She is relieved when the lady doesn't just blow holes in everyone though.

Then ... the guys with knives seem to fall in line with the lady and her thugs... okay that was unexpected... I mean sure outgunned.

What stops her though is the whole Vampire line. "wait what...." homeless Vampire... then they are ... oh crap they killed the .. homeless vampire. "Stop" just pops out of her mouth from the roof, she didn't really mean to give away the element of surprise but .. maybe the guy wasn't a vampire and watching them just shoot a guy in a dumpster is disturbing.

Also .. are vampires even real?

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene hears, and looks around, then springs to the roof. She's stood up there. Unarmed. able to get to her coat. "We can talk about this on the sidewalk" Selene says quietly. She's no remorse for ordering the killing of the homeless vampire. She'll explain, if Misfit will listen. Then again, Selene's got a reputation as a cold, heartless killer. She glances to misfit then hops right back down to the sidewalk, the vampires fanning out to keep an eye on the street. Selene for her part is just standing here. Waiting.

She'll talk. She'll explain why this had to be done with her hands in pockets. Then she leans on the front of a business, looking relaxed. She's not, of course, but....having vampires near her is a good thing. Even if these are untrained. Tey pack, which is a good enough start for now.

Vampires are real, Selene's going to explain that one, too.

Misfit has posed:
Misfit is ... pretty obviously bat aligned. I mean her costume theme is a slight askew to Batgirl, clearly not her and not quite trying to be, but the equipment is state of the art on the teenager.

She points takes several steps back there as Selene leaps up onto the roof, giving herself room because this lady seems to be very strong and very fast.

A batarang is pointed at Selene, more it is in Charlie's hand when she points. "I ... think I'm pretty good up here on the roof... thanks..." yeah she does not plan to go down there in the middle of all those .. who knows eally... to talk. "So yeah if you want to talk come on back up... otherwise I'm out."

Which isn't really that unreasonable of the teenager, she looks what 16.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene looks to the roof again and hops back up. "Fine. We'll talk up here" Selene says. She's prepared for a Batarang pointed at her. She'll just find the least dangerous thing to keep in her hands. Guns? No. No to knives, or half the things in her coat. A blood vial would just freak everyone out, too.

"So" Selene says, voice a mix of European accents. "So..." she nods, quietly speaking to the girl. Her fangs flashing as she speaks, but she's not lunging for the neck or wrists, either. Selene's not trying to bite Misfit, point for the vampire lady

Misfit has posed:
Charlie really does appreciate the fact that the maybe Vampire or Vampire enthusiast is not trying to chomp down on her neck. Also that there are no weapons and vials of blood being waved at her.

She does take one step back though at the flash of fangs.

"What the frack is going on..." the bat-a-rang is gestured at Selene then the street below and general used as a pointer in a nonthreatening way really. "Vampires!?" yeah first Demons and now Vampires. Next thing will be Santa, which honstly would be a step up.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene raises her palms. "Okay. Hear me out. Vampires. Exist" she says. "I'm one. Those guys down there. Vampires. The homless guy? Vampire"e says raising an eyebrow. "you don't believe me? Okay. I'm Selene. The dead homeless guy was killed on my elder's orders. That's...my boss, effectively. He told me to go and kill the homless guy for chewing on the residents of this bit of Gotham, stealing from my group, coven if you will. He didn't cut it as a member of the covenn, so he was stealing from us and attacking innocent people. I got tasked to kill if I was ever in the area. And....well...." Selene says gesturing to the street with a wave of her hand. "He was going to rob me or bite me" Selene says, then looks to Misfit with Selene's ice blue eyes studying the costume. "So. You're a superhero. You understand I did what I did for the greater good. I took a dangerous killer and thief off the streets, yes?

Selene changes tack. "Let me shattter your ideas on vampires. None of the oens on the street will hurt you unless I tell them to. They are recruits I will in time, train. I won't bite you withoutt a reason. I'm not a heartless monster"

Well, when it comes to drinking blood, anyhow. Killing? Sure she's a reputation as a heartless killer.

Misfit has posed:
There just a very slow nod there, That was a whole lot of information dumped on her and honestly she hasn't gone back far enough in any of the AARs to read about Selene yet. "Vampires." is all she can manage to say when the whole speil finishes, at least for a couple of slow moments.

"Vampires in Gotham.. crickey."

"I'm Misfit. This is Batman's town. Does Batman know a bunch of vampires are enforcing Vampire justice on ... other vampires in town." pause "Also I'm a hero yes... we do ot tend to kill people." which well are Vampires even people. She wonders what the holywater vials in her belt would do really or other gadgets that they loaded up on to deal with the demons.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
"Tell Batman I was following my council's orders and want to get a message to him. I'm Selene. I lead the coven's military" she says with a nod. "Ah you're one of Batman's people. Misfit. Is that down to the ear on your cowl?" she asks gently. Selene's not trying to be mean to this hero. Killing heroes is generally a bad idea. "I was out n the Narrows to clear my head after earlier this morning" Selene starts, "My elders wanted me to tie up a loose end. Death was what they ordered me to do. If Batman ordered you to dispense justice to somebody across the river, who stole from your family, and failed to live up to your standards, you'd punish them, yes?" she asks. To her credit, fangs are hidden.

Misfit has posed:
"Oh yeah he is going to love this." Charlie murmurs, which honestly he probably isn't going to love this.

"I work with Batman yes." she confirms, the cowl ear all lopsided is more because of her codename and embracing it really.

"Would I make sure they were stopped and brought to justice.. yes... would we kill the person.. nope. Even if he ordered us to kill someone, which he wouldn't, it isn't The Way."

"I'll pass on your name and what you were doing though to him and that you want to talk. I imagine he can find you."

That isn't a threat, she honestly believes Batman can find Selene if he wants to is all.

Selene (Underworld) has posed:
Selene watches Misfit with a nod. "It is our way to deal with our issues, however" Selene says. "Was it wrong? Mayb" she admits, looking to Misfit. "But you do not go in and punch vampires. You're asking to get bitten and hurt" she points out, she does know what she's on about, after all. "I'm aware Batman can find me. I'm also fine with this. I have my home and my coven's security. I'd prefer to talk face to face, without having to fight" she says simply. Why fight when Selene's already in one war?

Misfit has posed:
"Right... then I'm going to back away from this whole mess and let Batman know about it like you want." the bat-a-rang is wiggled in your general direction.

"Have a .. very vampy Christmas if you celebrate that sort of thing... and please don't kill anyone else in Gotham until Batman gets a chance to speak with you. Even vampires."

She taps the bat-a-rang to her forehead and then there is a slash of pink and purple smoke.

She is absolutely gone when it clears and you didn't hear or see a thing as to how she left though, very strange.
