Date of Scene: 01 January 2020
Location: Wharf, Lower East Side
Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Bakeneko, Cammy White

Bakeneko has posed:
The sun is slowly drifting low on the horizon, gradually approaching sunset. There's still an hour or so before the light begins to fade. On this far end of the wharf, foot-traffic is basically non-existent. Everyone present is inside the abandoned warehouse at the far end, still engaging in their street fights.

Katsumi had just been in one not too long ago. It was, without a doubt, the worst showing she'd ever made, whether in-ring, or on the street. Most people would've been humiliated after the beating she took. But for the Punk Princess? It was kind've bittersweet. She's human again, for whatever that means. She's stiff, sore, she looks rather rumpled and scuffed up, but there's a tiny, contented smile on her face. The coolness of the Winter air isn't even bothering her, despite not exactly being bundled up. Just a jogger's hoodie worn over a racerback sportsbra, leggings, and boots.

She's perched conspicuously atop a crate facing the water, the heels of her boots rhythmically bumping against the crate's frame. It would be energetic, if she weren't still recovering from getting kicked to pieces.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy is jogging along the wharf walkway, even though it's sparsely populated, but she prefers it that way so she can finish her day's workout outside. Because it's so dang cold, she has to wear a pullover over her leotard and yoga pants. She passes the abandoned warehouse on her way through the dirty, dingy district and down the embankment along the wharf's walkway. She might be noticed by Katsumi as she accelerates her pace but Cammy stops at the stairs so she can climb back up. As she starts up the concrete stairs, Cammy looks up at Katsumi poised there like a bird on top of the crates, maybe wondering why the woman is there or maybe she's thinking about some of the cases she's working on for SHIELD. She breathes heavily though she recovers quickly as she slowly climbs the stairs and uses the time to stretch out her arm over her head. She looks at the woman again, maybe thinking suspicious thoughts, like she's being followed again like last week.

Bakeneko has posed:
Katsumi Oshiro is, perhaps for once, actually minding her own business. She ain't hasslin' nobody. And that's a rare treat from the punkette, better known for antagonizing people. However, Katsumi would certainly be considered a predator animal. Drawing attention to oneself is just asking for it.

The first time she's looked at, she just returns a blank stare from those oddly-colored magenta eyes. Katsumi's content enough to leave it at that. But the second time she realizes she's being looked at, her nose scrunches at her.

"What's your deal?," she calls bluntly. "Yeah, I'm hot, I get it!" Her chin uptilts, and a hand whisks through her silky black hair, letting it play in the wind. There is a notable amount of confidence and finesse with which she does this, very well accustomed to emphasizing her looks.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy climbs to the top of the stairs and stops in front of the stupid crates where Katsumi is poised like a bird. She looks back and forth up the empty walkway then smirks at Katsumi, "How long you been waiting to use that?" she wonders amusedly, "Shut up," she adds. She continues up the wharf walkway.

Bakeneko has posed:
"Every day some weirdo stares at me," replies Katsumi offhandedly. Oh, but what was that accent? British? Katsumi is running into /all/ the foreign girls today, it seems. This is New York, though, to be fair.

"Oh my god, really?," asks a momentarily perplexed Katsumi. "'Shut up'? Sweetie, have you never been sassed before? Nono, come back here. I'm gonna teach ya how to do this." She bumps her heel against the crate a couple times more, to try to get Cammy's attention. "Come'ere!"

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy glances back over her shoulder as the snarky Katsumi taunts her some more. She stops and turns to frown at this woman, who's obviously been sitting there waiting to taunt somebody or anybody nearby. She huffs at the suggestion Katsumi could teach her somebody. She has suspicions that this woman is part of the gang trouble she's been investigating in the area. She takes note of where Katsumi is and what she's doing, in case the woman jumps at her and attacks. "You're really stupid," she suggests.
