The Shopping Quest

Synopsis:	Jessica and Cammy discuss the mysteries of CELERY.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy is shopping in New York at the Downtown Mall, which gets a lot of traffic because they sell just about everything. She's in a sports fitness store, of course. She's looking at a rack of awesome sunglasses at the front of the store, which is emptying out toward the end of the night.

Taking a pair of sunglasses with mirrored lenses, Cammy puts them on and steps to the side to look at herself in the little mirror. She tilts her head, pretending she's in Top Gun, and then takes off the glasses again. She hrms, looking at the sunglasses critically. And the price tag. She goes back to the sunglasses selection.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz hmmmmms as she walks into the mall. She has some stuff to get - like a new grill and some Bisquick. She's wearing a long gray dress with a forest-green jacket - no jewelry other htan a plastic-looking green ring on her left middle finger. She hmmmmms as she glances around, holding her hand up to the mall directory. A brief green flash might be seen if someone was watching as she starts murmuring softly to herself as she starts heading towards a kitchen appliance store.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy puts the awesome sunglasses back on the rack and doesn't seem interested in the other ones. She turns the rack around with a squeak and hrms, then turns to leave thte Sports Store. She crosses the mall walk to another store called Mel's Kitchen Appliance. It is loaded with discounted items and other things labeled with bright signs, "BUY ME!" they read, and they give the price. Cammy walks to the blenders. She leans forward and reads the fine print on the first blender, hrming to herself as she thinks something over.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz oooooooos as she sees a dedicated pancake grill. "Oh my, it's beautiful...." she coooos as she picks it up. "I so wish that I got paid more for my job..." she mutters as she picks it up. "Constructs just don't taste the same." She glances over at the other girl. "What are you here for?" she finally asks as she puts the grill in her cart.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy looks at the buttons on the blender, and pushes one of them. The blender VROOOOMS loudly and she hurries to turn it off, snickering at the noise, "Oops."

Cammy looks at Jessica and motions to the blender, "Trying to decide on a blender for my Celery Smoothies," she explains to her, "I need a small little one for traveling. Do you have a blender?" she wonders.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz blinks. "Not really. I don't need one really. But that one's LOUD for traveling." She ponders as she looks around, idly swinging her hand back and forth. She then ponders. "That one seems to be the best one for the quality and price," she states, gesturing to one slightly larger. "Even has a battery backup option but won't run for LONG on just battery."

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy looks surprised Jessica can immediately point her in the right direction, "Oh great," she comments and leans her head forward again to read the fine print, "It's a decent one. You're right," she says and then looks below on the floor to find one in stock. She picks one up and then smiles at Jessica, "You're such a good shopper. I'm Cammy," she says and looks down in Jessica's cart.

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles as she extends her hand. "Jessica," she states softly. "I just have a knack for stuff," she states, not mentioning her ring that she scanned them all. "I just needed a new pancake grill. The one I've been using just doesn't do the job, and I _love_ pancakes. Of course, I do a lot of workouts to work them off."

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy smiles and nods while she looks over the Pancake Grill, "Grilled pancakes?" she wonders, "Is that how you cook them?" she adds, probably not being a famous pancake cook. "I always have a GREEN smoothie or a juice before my workout," she explains. She looks back up at Jessica and shakes her hand, "It's so expensive to buy this crap, so I figure I'll make it myself."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods. "Ah. Competitive martial artist? I've met a few - they always eat and drink weird stuff like that. But yeah, it's expensive." She smiles. "It's a griddle, technically." She then looks. "Ah - that's the good stuff." She grabs some rather pricey pancake mix, nodding slowly. "Good. Maybe I could hlep you formulate a better shake for you."

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy looks surprised again, "Really? Do you have a bunch of recipes?" she wonders, "Nobody I know has any," she explains. She watches Jessica pick out the expensive pancake mix, "You must really like pancakes," she suggests amusedly, "Or breakfast in general?"

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz smiles. "Pancakes are serious business. But I could help you devise something." She smiles. "I have a lot of information at my disposal. I'd tell you why, but I doublt you'd believe me." She winks as she looks around for other things.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy blinks appreciatively and grins, stepping next to Jessica to show her a phone she's carrying, "Sounds good, you can text me," she tells her. Cammy gives over her phone number and shows her a pic of her drinking a Celery Juice, "I recently discovered celery juice. It's pretty good. You should try it. Don't buy it at the store though, they add all kinds of things."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz raises an eyebrow as she sees the picture. "Doesn't look like you're enjoying it. But making one's own celery juice - that does make sense. There's always Whole Foods stores, but you have to be rich to go there. Not even an author can afford that place very much." She smiles.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy tilts the phone back at herself and hrms, "Well...it's not for everybody I guess," she suggests. "What? Oh that's just one place you can shop for Celery Juice, but you're right, not everybody has it. I'm not spending a mint on it anymore anyway," she says dismissively and waves her hand, "I haven't been in a juice store to see if they have it. Those are getting popular."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz just nods slowly. "Well... yeah." She then smiles softly. "I should try that. Kilowog, a friend and personal trainer of mine, once told me that suffering is the path to greatness." She smiles wryly, knowing that calling Kilowog a 'personal trainer' would not go over very well.

Cammy White has posed:
Cammy puts her phone away and hmms, seemingly impressed with Jessica's reports, "Your own personal trainer? Nice," she says to her, "Okay listen, I have to go. Text me those recipes?" she says and smiles, "Maybe we can get together for breakfast."

Green Lantern (Cruz) has posed:
Jessica Cruz nods as she smiles. "I'll get on it." She got a quick bioscan with a green flash of light, then heads to the checkouts to pay.
