Cast of Characters: Blackout, Fiona Glenanne

Blackout has posed:
It's another night in the city and Blackout skulks. There was an explosion in the previous evening. A bakery in the Bowery was destroyed. The press said it was a gas leak. It happened in the middle of the night and no one was hurt. Not even bystanders in the vicinity to be injured. Just like someone planned it that way. Knowing that Fi doesn't like hurting people who don't diserve it, Blackout went to investigate. Not that he has the skills to investigate or even track bomb signatures, but he just wanted to see it for himself. Like he's done 8 previous times at 8 other explosion sites across the globe where people were not harmed. All in hopes of finding Fi.

It's been months since he last saw her. He blames himself. He wasn't in the right place or frame of mind. The last time they spoke he had just escaped being captured by HYDRA. They were doing experiments on him to learn how his powers worked and how to tap into the Darkforce Dimension. They learned nothing except that he really didn't like the experience. Back then, perhaps 7 months ago, his frame of mind really wasn't anywhere he could relate to Fi. He really just wanted to find and hold her. But it didn't work. He couldn't focus. He couldn't bring himself to tell her the whole greusome story. Instead, he just faded into the darkness. Months later, he realized what he had lost and decided to try and find her. With no success. Now he continues his search by skulking around bombed out buildings.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Half a block away, Fiona's planting explosives. She's actually helping a demolitions company with destroying a building. This one in particular. She's consulting for them. It's all legal, and Fiona's stood with a few people. from the demolitions company. There's no mistaking Fiona really with a shake of her head. She's here, watching where the charges are put. She steps back and makes a run for it for a safe distance, hitting the button when she's out of range. Which, given Fi told them where to put the charges, is about thirty feet. The blast goes straight up. Poor, poor pigeons. Fi's done this all above board. Which was good, and she's sitting on a director's chair and watching it all.

Blackout has posed:
Hearing the explosion, Blackout moves to the roof of the building he was within. He looks down the street and spots the plume of dust and at a last moment, the girl he's been looking for. He also sees the crew and other spectators. He's in his black armor and in the shadows. Something he should approach that cluster of people within. Instead, he will step into the darkforce dimension, using it as a changing station as well as a shortcut and he will appear in a nearby alleyway with direct, line of sight view, of Fi's right side profile just 9 meters away. Now he wears sneakers, jeans, black shirt and black jacket.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona's looking over the area then turns and spots Blackout, she looks straight to him and a smile creeps on her lips, though she doesn't say much. Instead she stays put, if he ants to come closer, shes not moving any. Instead, she's waiting, and watching. Fi's looking like she's been up for hours, really, and her hair's bleached by the sun from the days that've been gone.

Blackout has posed:
He will move to stand beside her, to her left. Looking in the same direction toward the imploded building and still waiting for the dust to settle. There's a few ticks before he speaks, "I've been searching for you."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi speaks quietly. "I've been on vacation and working. I'm sory" she admits with a look to Blackout. Then she moves and moves in for a hug. At least, that's the plan. she looks genuinely sorry, really, and looks upset at running away from Blackout. She lifts a hand nd wipes the tears from her eyes, looking like she's trying not to cry

Blackout has posed:
He will gladly take her into his arms, squeeze and hold her so very tightly as if trying to make up for all the times he didn't hug her. To him it's likely more therapeutic than for her since he's needed a good hug for a very long time. He mutters, "I'm sorry, too." regarding his own disappearance.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona nods and just....sort of sinks into his arms, watching him. Looking over and past him, she shakes her head. "We need to figure this out, don't we?" she nods and looks genuinely worried, before she speaks again. "C'mon, I've got my apartment in Empire City where we can discuss this" Fi offers

Blackout has posed:
He smiles, gives a final squeeze in the embrace and then says, "I know a short cut." and he'll then direct them toward the alleyway where a portal will open up in the shadows and give them a means to travel to her apartment.
