Cast of Characters: Hercules, Poseidon

Hercules has posed:

The Atlantic. The other large pond that separates the continents. And boy is it big. A lot larger than the man standing beside it. "Oh Poseidon, ancient lord of the deep. Your nephew calls to you." the voice carries into the distance along the water. There stands, where water meets land, the man calling himself Hercules waiting for a reply. He's been there for about hour or so beckoning for his uncles' appearance. "Oh.. Oh.. Oh to hell it. Damn it Posey! We must speak!" the large man yells into the distance more annoyed now that he's spent so much time talking to water.

Poseidon has posed:
Some could appear in a flashy way, probably someone could imagine Poseidon jumping out of the oceans sitting on a column of water or carried by a giant shark. But since his method of transportation for today is a magical teleportation spell, he just appears, soundlessly, out of nowhere in front of Hercules. True, he's standing on water like it was concrete, wearing a sea green scale armor and a golden cloak flowing from his shoulders. True, his ageless face is framed by white hair whipping around with the wind, and his stature is still relatively imposing if compared to that of a mortal, even if perhaps not if compared to hercules'. So perhaps, just perhaps, his appearing isn't at all that unimpressive! Though, as soon as he materializes, the words he says are "what! Stop yelling, you don't want me to become deaf. What's that? What do you need?" he pauses, staring at Hercules "also hello nephew... Nice to see you again."

Hercules has posed:

The hero of old stands, quietly, just looking at his uncle appears. He remains silent, which for Hercules is another labor for the man entirely, and raises a brow. "You look.. Different?" he says as his hand goes to above his head and slides it over his uncle. He is about to say something but stops. "With no disrespect, of course." He eyes his uncle again.

Poseidon has posed:
Poseidon tilts his head, peering at Hercules "what do you mean I look different?" he asks "I look exactly like the last time we met, this is my form, I'm immortal, I always look like this unless I'm shapeshifted into something else! Was I shapeshifted into something else last time we met?" he asks, blinking a couple of times and shrugging "well, I'm also trying to modernize myself a bit, so now I could start with phrases like, you never call..."

Hercules has posed:

With squinty eyes, he continues to stare until he is given the asked in not sop many words jut why he called to his uncle. "Ah yes, the reason. We share a friend." the man states. "A young mortal girl. A fetching golden haired lass with wings. We share employment at the same establishment." Yes, he has a job. "And she once told me in passing that she knew you." No, he's being a good guy. "Sadly I have found out from my place of employment she was hurt recently. I wanted to let you know. But I was unsure if you owned a waterproof phone or not, so I decided to call you the old fashioned way to tell you." Yes, yelling into the ocean like a madman always works.

Poseidon has posed:
Poseidon listens to what his nephew tells him, with an understanding look finally flashing on his face "ah, shannon! Is she well?" he pauses, clearing his throat "well I mean I know she's hurt since you told me, but is she hurt in the, my arm will be fixed tomorrow, way, or is she hurt in the, I've more tubes going in and out of me than a factory and I don't know if I'll live another day, way?" he asks, staring at Hercules while waiting for an answer.

Hercules has posed:

"They told me no more, Uncle." The look on Hercules face is a familiar one, even to the gods. It means when he finds out who hurt the girl, Hades will have new occupants to welcome. "However, from the sound in their voice, it is bad even for her." He says with a nod. "I will admit she is too nice of a lass, I like her. But she for her to be hurt this bad." he pauses and looks to his Poseidon. "I just wanted you to know."

Poseidon has posed:
Poseidon nods again, slowly, unknown if in aknowledgement or in approval of the fact Hercules will have a meeting with the responsible of Shannon's injuries. "I would go there and heal her immediately, but considering where she is, I'd probably cause people to go on a panic..." he admits

Hercules has posed:

With a nod and a smirk. "When do they not panic when they see us gods? It is always 'Oh now they come to steal my daughter again!'or 'Wait that is my cow.' They forget we protect them. But times have changed." Hercules states as he answers Poseidon. "Well, uncle I shall take my leave now." He begins to leave but stops and turns. "But might I suggest, get a cell phone." With those words, he reaches behind his pelt and pulls one out from a pocket from behind. "It would make it easier for me to contact you. Rather then me yelling into your oceans."

Poseidon has posed:
Poseidon shrugs "eh, they forget easily. Sometimes too easily." he states, glancing towards the nearby city "but yes, perhaps I'll visit under a different guise, even if I don't even want to think about what would happen if they were to find out..." he chuckles, actually some amusement showing on his face "oh well, thanks for the information, I appreciated it and, well, just light a candle and do some praying next time instead of yelling at the water, I may not be tuned on that if you know what I mean! Or I'll geta phone." he shrugs again, then grins and waves "be well, Hercules, and call if you ever need anything."
