Date of Scene: 04 February 2020
Location: Four Freedoms Plaza - Ground Floor
Synopsis: Sue and Jen talk law and pencil-necks from the EPA!
Cast of Characters: She-Hulk, Invisible Woman

She-Hulk has posed:
Jennifer's bailiwick in terms of the law tends to be everything and anything related to superheroes. Metahumans and mutants of all stripes come to see her about all manner of problems. Case in point, she's retained by the Fantastic Four to go over a lot of their paperwork in regards to abiding by the many and sundry 'super-laws' that have come to affect them both locally and federally.

Not that anybody is really thinking about that when she walks in ...

Six foot seven, taut with chiseled musculature, and bright green to boot in a finely-tailored black skirt and blazer, she cuts quite the figure as she crosses the lobby of Four Freedoms Plaza. A briefcase (reinforced, as she occasionally gets overzealous) is clutched in one hand, and she has her phone out in one hand - firing off e-mails one-handed!

Invisible Woman has posed:
And then Sue is suddenly beside Jennifer, walking with her, also looking down at a phone in her hand. She's in a F4 bodysuit and she'd just appeared out of thin air beside the very tall and green skinned lawyer woman.

"Ooo, coffee." Sue says then as she reaches out and takes a cup off of the tray from the Cafe Waiter who was walking past her. He looks at her. "Those are for..."

"I know, I know. The front desc. Tell Earl he should be drinking tea and not his giant sized coffee anyways."

The waiter looks confused, but he can't really argue with Sue..

"Diabetes." Sue whispers to Jenn then and shakes her head, then sips from the cup of hot goodness. She winces. "Sugar overload. I love it."

She then looks over and up again at Jenn, smiling at her. "Hows stuff and things?"

She-Hulk has posed:
"Stuffy and thingy," Jen answers, tapping off the phone with a swipe of her thumb and depositing it back into the breast pocket of her blazer. Pockets may not be fashionable, but she's damned if she's going without one.

"So, I've got the contracts for Reed's new experimental subspace lab," she explains, lifting her briefcase and shaking it a little for emphasis, "I just need your signature on a few things so you can be square with the city. There's also some paperwork to lodge with the EPA."

Invisible Woman has posed:
Sue has to smirk at these words. She puts her phone away too though, back into the special suit that vanishes with her when she vanishes. "Ol' Reedy, up to his subspace science again." She shows a little grin then before she nods her head to the side. "Lets use this conference room, rather than go all the way up." She takes a corner then, walking past a group of people moving the other direction.

"EPA huh?" Sue then asks. "Are they going to send over some pencil neck jerk to investigate everything as we build it and tell us how its all 'not good enough'?" She asks as she sips her coffee and leans into the glass door to push open the ground floor conference room. The lights inside all silently sweep on to illuminate the table in the center of the room and after they enter the door will close and the glass walls will fog over to keep their privacy.

She-Hulk has posed:
"I think I might have talked them out of that," Jen explains, stepping into the conference room and looking from seat to seat and then picking the sturdiest-looking one in her eyes, "They appreciate a lot of what Reed has done with patents sold directly to the government and such - biodegradable plastics. All that fun stuff." A roll of her eyes.

"They're happy to just send a supervisor to make sure everything is within regulation. Honestly, they'd probably let him just go nuts but the new secretary is all paranoid about the Negative Zone - I'm betting she watched that Netflix doc and just drew her own conclusions. Aaaaanyway ... "

Jen puts the briefcase on the table, producing some paperwork in blue folders and sliding it across the table to Sue with a silvery pen, "Your autograph, my dear."

Invisible Woman has posed:
Sue moves to sit at the spot that Jenn pushes the folders to and she smirks once more while she sets her drink aside. "Netflix really knows how things in this world work too. Last I heard they were only somewhere in the ballpark of 5 billion dollars in debt."

She starts to open the folders individually to find the place where her Jane Hancock goes then pops the pen with a satisfying little click. With an inward breath taken she starts signing. "Reed is definitely something." She says flippantly about her husband, a man she's barely seen in the past several months. The old argument of him not ever coming out of his labs to spend time with her and the kids being real in their 'perfect family dynamic.'

Once its all signed, she peruses it with her eyes again and then folds the folders closed and slides them back with Jenn's pen. She gathers up her coffee and leans back in her chair and just stares at Jennifer then.

"You want to do something this weekend? Go see a movie or break into an suspected evil organization's main hideout? Move all their furniture to the left a few feet then leave knowing that we'll have the satisfaction of 'really annoying them'?" Its dry humor, its her bread and butter (yum).

She-Hulk has posed:
"Yes to both," Jen says with a nod to the weekend offer, taking back the paperwork and slipping it back into the briefcase, "Though probably a movie, if I have a preference. The last evil base I broke into had a monster of a trespass charge to dodge after the fact. Fell into that grey area where it is an evil base but also technically a residence ... it was this whole thing."

"You're looking good, though," she adds, nodding towards the blonde, "I mean, when I can see you. How's the kids?"

Invisible Woman has posed:
"I'd tell you that you need to work on your Stealth Game more, but I know that thats not really in the cards for you." Sue replies to that first bit, teasing and showing it with that half cocked grin of hers. Her hands lay in her lap then as she looks down at herself. Its a dark navy blue suit she's wearing with black trim around the wrists, neckline and down the bust with a (4) logo textured into the dark fabric itself, subtle but visible. It also has a nice almost leathery shine to its contours in the light.

"Testing out these new duds. I like them so far. Though admittedly I've just enjoyed spying on some of my employees. I feel like Undercover Boss: Kylo Ren, only I'm not going around stabbing any of them with a lightsaber."

Sue pauses then, adds on. "Yet..."

"So a movie? Sounds great. I think there's a Fast and Furious one out. LIke the 25th in the series."
