Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Saoirse Flynn, Mercy Thompson

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse floats..yes, that's floats a about 4 feet above the ground on into the garage with a small purple purse with a unicorn on it. Spinning in a circle she has a weightless lazy movement to her using her hands to help her breeze in through doorways. "Hellllllooooooo?" she calls out as she pulls out a folded up paper from her wallet, suspended upside down as she does so. "I'm supposed to pay for a car being repaired, I have a credit card!"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's seen it all...now. "Hello? You need anythingg?" the coyote mechanic calls rolling out from under a particularly tricksy Jetta. "Ah you're here for a payment? Okay sure thing. What car was it and how much?" Mercy asks. She's cleaning her hands off on a rag, watching Saoirse. Okay. Not every day a mechanic gets a visit from something or someone like Saoirse. "Want to come to the office and discuss it there?" she asks, gesturing to the doorway to the office. There's the smell of antifrreeze, brake fluid, gasolinem and a million other smells in her garage, as Mercy heads for the office, nodding to Saoirse. "I don't like doing payments in the shop itself" she explains, settling behind the desk as she ties her hair back.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse nods "Okay!" She travels along inverted as she moves towards Mercy but lets her lead the way and set the pace. "It's the car that had the top ripped off. Something about a super battle, I dunno. I wasn't there for it..and I wasn't paying a lot of attention when they were explaining it. But it's for Michelle Matthews, she sent me down with the company credit card and said I should be an authorized user. She said it it's over 10,000 we should pass and junk it, but if it's not we should have it repaired, and make sure the paint looks okay. Something about so many vehicles being damaged. But that happens to her all the time."

As tey move towards the office "It's kinda stinky in here, it's probably all the car stuff. I like when it smells like baked goods, or bannana bread, kinda sweet, kinda bannana-y, kinda spicey, not like spicy food, but like baked goods spicy. The yum yum in your tum tum kind, not the my tongue is burning! kind."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods, pulling a plate of cookies over. "Speaking of baked goods" she nods, "Not spicy. But enjoy. Hum...under ten grand for putting the roof back on a car? I can take a look" she says, and thinks it over with a nod to Saoirse. "Okay, if it's a Beetle, pretty easy. If it's something more complicated, though. It'll be expensive. Ten grand without labor fees. That's workable really" Mercy nods with a smile. The cookies are chocolate chip cookies, fresh baked.

Looking from the cookies, to Saoirse, Mercy smiles. "Oh super battles are a pain" she sympathizes, "Good for us mechanics however, so" she nods.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse picks up a cookie "Oh, yummy!" She sits bow-legged upside down, yet her hair doesn't fall downward. "Well, she said 10,000 or under have the work done, otherwise have it junked out." She hmms. "I wonder if there were fuzzy dice, though if the roof was ripped off it probably doesn't have any if it did. Someone probably ripped it off and it someone with it. Or someone shot through it, that happens a lot too."

Chomping on the cookie, she'll finish one, then reach over to take the next. "Well..I don't know a lot about cars. I think it was 4 wheels..um, it had doors, either two or four of them."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods and listens, watching the cookie get eaten. "Okay. I can work with that" Mercy offerrs with a knowing grin. "So how about this for a deal? I'll work on it and set a budget of ten grand, work under that?" she offers and looks over Saoirse. "You heard about my reputation huh? I work on cars" she says with amusement in her voice.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse blinks "Do you have a reputation? Is it good or bad?" The clueless look on her face shows she has heard nothing. "Well what if the money is lower, that would not be beneficial on our side to agree to the work without an estimate would it? I think the car was brought here, but I wasn't really paying attention to that either. Do you have an estimate yet, and if not when do you expect one?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy smiles. "Mercy Thompson. Look up my name, Yes I'm a good mechanic" she shrugs, "I got a reputation, good wrenches are hard to find, harder to keep" she says and nods sagely. "Have as many cookies as you want however" she says with a smile.

Mercy nods. "Okay, but I'm willing to put some of my own, meager money into this to help you out" Mercy explains with a look over to Saoirse. "So you're part bat? You were hanging upside down earlier" Mercy notes. Observant woman, that Mercy.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse shakes her head "No, no, I'm not part bat. I'm a people, like you and me. I'm just using gravity manipulation to manipulate gravimetric field around myself so I can move about without the affects of gravity."

She considers, rubbing a finger at her cheek. "Well, you can say that but can you show me the kind of numbers that there would be with costs, and that you would expect to put in? How can I sign off on variables when the variables have not been defined in any meaningful way? Can you please define further?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy grabs a pen and paper, and starts writing out estimates and numbers. She shakes her head a few times, circles them and looks quiet, then circles the figure, sliding the paper over. "Ten grand" she says, with a tap of the pencil. It all comes to....$10000. Mercy's done some calculations, she'll take the $10000 budget. Add in another thousand and use that then.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse watches "I don't know what those numbers mean or how you are calculating the formulas. Can you please write out a contract with the work that will be covered, expectation of service, and length of time expected? Then I can give you the credity-card and we can make the trasaction!" She smiles resting her hands behind her back (even as she floats upside down).

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy glances to Saoirse (who is admittedly upside down), as she nods. "I can, So, need a name on the contract" she nods, writing one out by hand, showing what she's writing. It's a basic contract, money for services. I.e. Mercy will perform the work and be paid for it. She's working with the ten grand that's been given.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse reminds "Remember to put a specfic timeframe on when the work is expected to be completed by. The name will be Michelle Matthews, with Saoirse Flynn as her authorized agent." She pulls out a credit card for "Saoirse Flynn, National Robotics Company Card' and offers it downard "Here's the credity card for the charge. That's how these things work right? Or did you need a check?"
