Date of Scene: 12 February 2020
Location: Central Park, Manhattan
Synopsis: And the pretzels were good.
Cast of Characters: Saoirse Flynn, Cannonball, Flash, Prismatic

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse makes a bit of an impression. For one her rather curvy bodyshape. Tall, blonde, smiling and having a curvy set of hipsy-rump. Yes yes, those are all eye-catching features. However perhaps more than her curviness is the fact that she is floating about 5 feet in the air vertically. Doing a slow meandering turn with arms outstreached she lets out the softest of little excited yet contented giggles. She's wearing a jean-jacket, long sleeved but let open to let her marshmallow tee show right on through, and sh'es also slinging a purse with her, a purple little thing with a long strap with a little unicorn on it. Her hair flows about with the wind, but not particuarly with gravity. Moving lazily up to a food cart vendor she waves "Oh, hey Henry! Do you have any pretzels today?" Her voice is crushingly, unmistakenly heavily Irish filled with brightness and exuberance. The man seeming to know her doesn't seem put terribly off "Yah, you betcha!" She digs out some money from the purse while he preps the overly-large novelty pretzel.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie comes walking across town. he had some things to attend to and now, the fastest way back to where he needs to be is through the park. He is not jogging just walking with ease, and upon seeing the lady flying and not in costume he will stop for a moment looking over a brow raised.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse movs upward a bit to float horizontally about two feet above the ground. Handing over the money, she then closes her purse and takes the pretezel "Oh! This one looks like a good one!" When Samuel comes closer she waves "Oh hello! Would you like some pretzel? There's a whole lot of pretzel here, plenty for two! They have Nacho Cheese, and Mustard here on the cart if you want to yum-up your pretzel?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie walks over, and says "No, think I am good thank you. Just a bit suprised to see someone hovering in central park not in costume." He will tell the woman "I mean heros, yea you see them, but civilian displays of power less often out and about

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse looks thoughtful for a moment. "Hmmmn. Well. I guess that's proabably accurate. My sister is a big hero, she's Bionic Girl and she works with the army in anti-superpowered tactics and things like that. I'm not really a hero. I guess there was the one time, even someone like me can be a hero once. But that one time did cost a whole lot, so I don't really reccomend being a hero. It's very scary and not for everyone. Dangerous too." She smiles "I'm Saoirse. Does the floating bother you? I can go to the ground if it does but I'm not very good on my feet."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes his head and says "Sam, and no, I work in bushwich, just not used to it out here. Just I do suggest be careful, some people react badly to people with powers,.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse looks thoughtful "Well..I went through a school for people with superpowers. The goal was to become a superhero..but I didn't really make it that far. I did get an honorary diploma though! We used powers and things. I think people should be who they are. Though I know bad things have happened. I've been kind of under the weather the last few years. I was really injured and I'm finally through rehab, learned how to talk again, and learned how to walk..well, mostly walk. Kind of."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie hmms and says "Well good to hear your doing better, but would suggest caution. Not sure if your a mutant, but some will assume and have issues with it. New to New york?

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse nods her head softly "Well..sort of. I'm from Ireland, though I was in a wheelchair and not really able to have much concious thought back then. I've been in the hospital for about 3 years recovering. Um.. you really think people would try to hurt me? I mean..I don't want to be hurt.. you don't want to hurt me do you?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie is standing next to a pretetlze stand talking to Saoirse. "Me, No I would love for people to be able to be themselves totally, but some people perhaps. I would suggest just be cautious and keep your eyes open to your surroundings when your using powers in the open. There are hate groups towards those with powers, like there are for most any groups.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse hmmns. "I haven't come across any..but I haven't been out much either. I can be kind of scary. Here, I'll show you! Watch..don't be too afraid now, okay? Here goes...aaaand...." She furrows her brows, and points at Samuel "Hey Mr. Buddyman, knock that off!" She brightens (which isn't much from what she was before, perhaps 'less bright'. "See? Was that pretty good?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie offers the girl a smile and says "Sorry but no, not intimidating, but then it maybe a good thing, I am not saying start something I am just saying be prepared for those who might.

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse hmmns. "Well, my sister is a public superhero. Um..I know some military guys, though the closest they are is in New Jersey. I wonder if there's an Old Jersey. Hmmn. I just...well. I don't want to see anyone hurt unless it has to be. I beleive in people. It's cost me a lot to do so, but I have to..believe in them. People can do amazing things if given a chance. They just have to have the right opportunities."

Flash has posed:
Although he had recently relocated to Metropolis, Barry enjoyed New York too, and with his abilities, it was a short jog away. He didn't like Gotham. Too many weirdos. And this was coming from a guy who has most of his rogues on speed dial. But today he was out of costume, just buying a pretzel after having seen the queue for them, and noting the heavenly aroma. When he got to the front, he would say, "two please," which was odd, as he was alone, and they were pretty big. The vendor asked, "you sure about that kid," and then Barry hmmed and hawed, "yeah, you're right, better make that three."

Prismatic has posed:
Alexis arrivs on-scene, wearing a sot gray jacket, her dark hair drawn up into a bun, snakers pounding on the pavement in the park as she walks, violin case tucked under her arm and a canvas bag tucked against her side, dark eyes peering down as she considers -- just where was Sam supposed to meet her?

However, she is momentarily distracted by the smell of soft pretzels, and giving a small 'hm', she had queued up behind Barry, checking her phone.

"They are pretty good pretzels." the woman smiles slightly, maybe not quite in approval, but close.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and smiles as he sees Alexis, walking over to put his arm around her as the young lady heads off. "Hey beautiful." He will tell Alexis "How you doing hon?"

Flash has posed:
Being handed three large, warm, freshly cooked pretzels, each one enough for at least two people, Barry, who wore a red hoodie, blue jeans, brown leather belt, and brown sneakers that mimicked the appearance of leather shoes. They were athletic, but made of a breathable and stretchable material that looked like leather. He held the bag with one hand, while taking a bite into his first pretzel with his free one, just as Alexis arrived. With his mouth still chewing, he seemed to mumble, "oh god, this is so good." Yeah, he was raised on a farm.

Prismatic has posed:
Alexis gives a smile, holding up two fingers for pretzels and digging for her wallet as the red-hoodied Barry, steps to the side and -- oh, no, chewing with his mouth open, talking through the food... Alexis gives a slightly sour expression, but as Sam shows up, she gives a grin. "Oi, love." she chirps quietly, "Fancy a pretzel?"

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie smiles and says "Maybe a bit or two of yours, not in the mood for much of one." He will tell her. He looks over and a brow raised at the man with the large amount of food. "Did your lessons go well, with the kids"" He asks of some teaching she is still doing.

Flash has posed:
Swallowing, Barry said, "sorry, didn't meant to talk with my mouth full, but they're so good," and with that said, he took another bite, chewing with his mouth closed. He had manners, honest, just, sometimes his enthusiasm got the better of him. And after chewing that much, he'd shift the bag with the other to, to the hand that held the pretzel, and offered it to Sam and Alexis in turn, "oh, where are my manners. Name's Barry, Barry Allen."

Prismatic has posed:
"Well enough. No one broke strings and everyone still has their eyes." Alexis gives a wry smile, and as Barry speaks up, she flushes a little bit, her ears turning redder than the rest of her, and she gies a sheepish glances to Barry.

"Ah, yes well, I s'pose if they're that good, one must compliment them." she gives a smile. "Alexis Carr."

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie shakes the hand and says "Sam Guthrie." He says introducing himself, and looking to Alexis no broken strings with the kids? I am impressed." He grins a bit and says "The lady who was here a bit ago seemed to compliment them alot as well."

Flash has posed:
Barry gaves Sam a brief look of recognition, seemingly to remember him from some place, somehow, but wasn't quite certain. Perhaps they had met while the Flash was working at a soup kitchen, perhaps he had mistaken Mr. Guthrie for someone else. He wasn't sure. It was a while ago. That look is fleeting, as he accepts the man, and Alexis, for who they are, offering a warm smile. Looking down at his bag, he made the decision, and held it out to them, "here, have a pretzel on me."

Prismatic has posed:
Alexis laughs, and holds up her own two pretzels.

"Cheers, Barry." she gives Allen a smile, leaning back on her heels a moment and, tearing off a bit of her own pretzel, she hands it over to Sam, and gives a nomf of her own.

Cannonball has posed:
Samuel Guthrie looks over and says "Thanks, but I am just stealing a little bit of hers, not even half of it." He grins a bit, and says "I think the fellow here aint gonna complain about us wandering up though." He says of the pretzel merchant.

Flash has posed:
"Suit yourself," Barry said with a warmth in his tone. The offer was genuine, and he took no offence to it being rejected. "So, uh, I probably shouldn't bother you two. Have a nice day." And he was starting to feel like a third wheel, so made an effort to separate from the group.
