Location: Wade Shaw's Condo, Claridge's, Midtown Manhattan
Synopsis: Dean tracks down Nick for ANSWERS... and to make cheeseburgers
Cast of Characters: Phantasm (Drago), Dean Winchester

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
After running into Sara at the shop and sacrificing his coffee for the sake of Pez's sanity, Nick has found himself back at the condo sans hot beverage himself. And so he has rectified that situation with a coffee maker dripping away in the kitchen area of the studio condo.

While the coffee brews, Nick took a shower and is now dressed in sweats and a well worn old gray tee. The collar is so loose that it is on the verge of becoming a v-neck.

And honestly? Nick doesn't give a damn. Hair still damp, the musician wanders into the kitchen area, grabbing a cup to pour himself a drink.

As for his roommate? Wade's off at the studio, getting extra work in. Tsk. Tsk.

Dean Winchester has posed:
There's a knock at the door. The sorta knock that heralds trouble. Trouble in ajacket, jeans and with a badge, and a car outside. Baby's out there, and Dean's banging on the door. He's tracked Nick down to here. Dean's got questions. Lots. And, lots and lots and lots of questions.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The sound carries well through the small studio. Moreso being that the kitchen area is directly adjacent to the door. Perhaps it's that he hasn't had his first sip of the black gold in his mug or perhaps it is the incessant nature of the bang but for a moment, the Hannigan side of Nick takes out.

"OYE! I'M GETTIN' TO IT."

Muttering a grumble, Nick sets the mug down on the counter before puttering over. A thumb lifts up, tabbing the cover over the peep hole to look to the man on the other side. Ah.

Him.

Dean is awarded the sound of a lock being undone before the door opens, giving him the view of a damp, tired, and unamused looking musician. "Are you trying to get shot?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
"Wouldn't be the first time" Dean smirks looking pleased. "Grab clothes and can I come in? I got questions" he says fiercely. Dean's got his jacket, jeans, t-shirt, and shades on too, with his boots and things. He leans on the doorway and shrugs, looking over to Nick, with a shrug.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick's eyes narrow, "These ARE clothes." He points out. Granted the shirt has a few darker dots from water dripping on them but he's sufficiently clothed.

He doesn't extend an invite to Dean, and considering how they met, there's probably good reason. But he doesn't block Dean either. He instead walks over to the counter to grab another cup for the 'not invited' guest.

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean shakes his head. "Look. I got questions. I need to come in" he says firmly. "I need to come in and ask questions"

He's not an invited guest. True. But he kills things for a living. Not kills Nicks, or Michaels,however...

At least without a reason!

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick sighs, pouring the second cup of coffee, "Is something keeping you from entering? The place isn't boobytrapped if that's what you're wondering."

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean strides into the condo and watches nick. True. He's not an invited geuest. But. But. He's in here. "Look, I wanted to say you put on a good show. It's just a shame what went on afterwards. I was going to check in on you" Dean offers leaning on the wall inside the condo, just by the doorframe.

"You did good though" Dean admits

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As Dean crosses over the threshold, Nick turns his head to look to the hunter. He listens to Dean's comments quietly before giving a slight nod. He steps forward, handing Dean the extra mug of coffee. Black.

"Thanks."

He turns the door, closing it shut and latching it before heading back to the kitchen counter to retrieve his own drink. "I'm alright. Just tired of it."

Dean Winchester has posed:
The coffee's as black as his car. Sweet. Which is a good thing. Good.
"I hear you" Dean says simply. "You did good and I'm sick of it, too" he says with a sigh. "See. I like concerts. I don't like, well, that" he says with a wave of his hand. Looking to Nick, Dean sighs. "So what can we do about it?" he asks simply.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Oh yeah. As suggested, I talked with Wade and will have a meeting with William to see if we can figure out what happened with O'Bri. You and Buffy are welcome to sit in on it. Just, don't set the office on fire if you do." Nick sums up, strolling over to the other side of the bathroom area to plop down upon the sofa with his drink. The instruments dotting the floor space off to the side reinforcing Nick's key focus.

He shifts, reaching underneath him to pull out a loose drumstick, tossing it over to a small bin containing percussion supplies with a satisfying clunk.

"Might be a few though. Break's almost over and I'll have to fly back to the shoot."

He looks over to Dean, his new vantage point grantinghim a view of everything but where the coffee pot is, "So... do you normally go chasing after vampires?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
"Well shit" Dean shrugs. "When's this meeting so I know when to avoid thhe city?" he adds looking unimpressed. "Well. Honestly? I deal with problems. Vampires, demons, ya know. That sorta thing" Dean shrugs. "I do a bit of everything. But mostly. Full time slayer of things. T. M." he says. Doing the air quotes around the letters? Perfectly fine by Dean!

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The response causes for Nick to arch a brow. Perhaps living with Wade for so long has rubbed off on him.

"I said you're welcome to sit in. Not that you're required." Nick replies, voice a bit tense, "I'm not exactly excited about having this meeting either. I had already turned down the full time position. So turning around and asking for a meeting after that is having me come up as a bit of an indecisive asshole. And considering you two were wanting to know what led to O'Bri ending up the way he was, and maybe why he left the group, figured you'd be more interested."

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean sets his coffee down. "You had a fucking vampire stalking you. You staked it with a drumstick. And you got the nerve to lecture me?" Dean asked. "Listen. I could teach you how to deal with vampires and things. So I can teach you the arts of dealing with stuff" Dean says sipping his coffee again.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Oh for Ch- He was locked up," Nick snaps back, "I don't know WHY he got out or how but he was LOCKED. UP. And yes I'm going to be pissed off when you go 'HEY LET'S LOOK INTO THIS' And when I end up making myself look like an asshole to give you the steps to do that, you suddenly go 'I don't wanna.' like a ch-"

He shakes his head, pinching his brow. "God is this how Wade feels?"

He sighs, "Ok. Yeah, the stalker thing is bad. That it was a vampire, ok worse. But he's dust. And in the broad scope of things it's not the weirdest thing I've dealt with. One of the more personal, ok yeah. But not the weirdest."

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean sighs. "You dealt with him though" Dean offers, anger dissipating some. "Look. You got potential, okay. You dealt with that vampire well. So" Dean points out. "Look. Yu're going for a meeting with tthis Whilliam guy, right?" Dean adds "So why not dig around first before going into the meeting and go in with all the facts, though?" he says. It's common sense. To Dean, that is. Though Dean's been doing the hunter life for decades

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick sighs, "Five Times Novel is a band who adopted a masked approach centered around the theme of classic novels. The stage names assigned to the band members are a nod to the author names while the masks depict an animal associated with one of their great works. A lot of bands do the masked approach when there's the potential for a turnaround of their players or to create a draw to their shows. The band was primarily founded by O'Bri, the rat, Kip, the Tigress, and London, the wolf. Other members include Rowl, the Owl and Lew, the Lion. When O'Bri left, they introduced a temporary character of Poe, The Raven."

Mike gestures over to the corner of the condo where a raven mask rests.

"-To help with the completion of the tour they were in the middle of. They are currently seeking a replacement secondary percussionist for their lineup for future album development and performances. Their manager is one William Wilkenson, who also acts as their sound guy. Who, actually is a pretty nice guy. Kip is difficult beyond all means and the general chatter within the band is that she and O'Bri were dating and that's what led to the split. No mention of vampirism though. "

He pauses to take a sip of the coffee before continuing, "Although, that would explain why he started blowing off practices. Those practice sessions were LONG."

Dean Winchester has posed:
"So we can rule out the band are vampires? Okay" Dean says slowly as if watching Nick. "So if he was a vampire. Kip....though" Dean muses. "She a vampire? Or did O'Bry not get that far?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick shakes his head, "Kip's the leading lady and does the interviews. If there's a photo op. She's all in it. London too. Hell, O'Bri was as well til the rumors of infighting started up a few months ago. So I'm guessing if he was turned it was RECENT recent."

Dean Winchester has posed:
"So" Dean says, sipping his coffee. "Why though. I mean. Who. and more to the point. Why?" he wonders. "Who would wanna turn a vampire and have them in a band? I mean. It's kind of stupid ain't it?" he nods and sips his coffee more. Looking from Nick to the raven mask, Dean seems lost in thought

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Eh. They do mainly nighttime concerts anyways. It wouldn't be THAT much of a change." Nick muses, "But you'd probably have to let people in on the plan so you don't have your practices in the middle of the freaking day or at least make it to where no one has to leave during the day." He looks at Dean and then to what he's looking at. "...What?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean looks back to Nick. "huh I was listening. So let's say O'bry was turned. Who else would be in on it?" he wonders aloud and shakes his head. "See, somebody has to know, right? I mean, okay, somebody absolutely must know"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Well, yeah. The person who turned him and-" Nick replies, pausing for a few moments, "But- if it was someone involved with the band, wouldn't they have made concessions for the change afterwards rather than go through all the drama?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
"Perhaps" Dean muses speculatively. "They wanted the drama? Wanted to have that as a means to an end?" he wonders aloud, shaking his head. "It's not adding up. I'm better at killing things than understanding them mind..."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"I generally prefer NOT killing things." Nick replies, matter of factly, "Then again, I don't really go looking for these types of things either. More of a handle it when it comes type."

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean sighs. "It's what I do. It's all I've known since I was young. Have to take care of Sam, and kick demon and vampire ass" he says, softening a little. Dean's not a hardass. No. He's got a softer side. "Though when Mom's killed by an unholy thing, and Dad takes off and goes here, now you are on your own" Dean says gently. "Kind of had to grow up quickly, ya know?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick frowns, growing quiet as he looks to his coffee, jaw tightening.

"Yeah, I do." He answers, "I know that all too well. Though, after all these years, I still have no urge to seek out my father."

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean gives Nick a harsh look. "So" Dean says. "You've no desire to seek out your family. Hey, we're in the same boat. And we're not sinking yet" he says semi cryptically. "See, we're not that different, are we?" he asks with a smirk.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick looks over to Dean, eyes narrowing "Mom had us run from him for a reason. And despite how they may have felt about us, even the courts wouldn't let him have custody when she was murdered." He leans back, lifting up the cup, "So yes. No desire."

He sips, considering a topic change, "Ever fight a chimera?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
"Not....yet" Dean offers with a laugh. "Not yet though. Fought other things though. Most of the time it's staying alive" he nods looking over to Nick. "You make good coffee though. Got any cheeseburgers?" he asks with a knowing nod.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Hope you don't." Nick replies, getting up from the sofa, walking over towards the kitchen, "Those things are nasty..."

Disappearing around the wall, there is the sound of a fridge door opening. "We got the meat. We got the cheese. Not sure about the buns though."

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean nods. "Cheeseburgers are better than sex. Well. Bacon cheeseburgers. Want a hand?" he asks. That's his way of saying 'get the hell out the way. I'll show ya how it's done!"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"You poor deprived soul." Nick murmurs before seeing a wild Dean appearing in the kitchen. "...Uh okay, if you insist."

Refilling his coffee, Nick moves over to the small kitchen table and sits down. Figuring at some point he will need to point out to Dean where stuff is located.
