Cast of Characters: Saoirse Flynn, Power Girl

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
It's night..later at night, at least 9:15. Saoirse is leavin with the staff of the Hole in One donut company, and they hand her a box of leftover donuts as she floats there a foot above the ground. "Here you go Saoirse." One of the waitresses says as they reach over and ruffle her hair as she gives a giggle, taking a moment to shake out her blondiness. "Okay, I'll watch you guys!" Slowly floating up to the roof she sits there, looking around in a full circle. "Okay!" she calls down, her accent unmistakenly Irish. Thick and natively so. "It's all clear, no badguys or creepycreeper people!" The waitstaff give a soft chuckle and split as they go their seperate ways to their vehciles as the curvy guardian watches and opens the donut box. "Oooh, there's a jellyfilled today!"

Power Girl has posed:
Weirdly...it wasn't that weird. Seeing a superhero in a coffee shop, cafe or place like this. After all, there had to be some way to make it through those late night patrols even for sun-absorbing aliens! Of course, Power Girl wasn't turning up in streetwear to lounge as a customer. Instead she'd rushed over to pop in a 'Power Girl' with the hope of meeting a sweets craving! But it was not to be as she touched down in front of the store, spotting the closed sign and the departing staff with a snap of her fingers.

"Damn it."

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse points down at Power Girl as she picks up a cherry cake donut with the other, resting the box on her lap. "Hey, the pretty curvy girl in the snug outfit, you better not be a supervillian! If you are, you leave those hardworking donut people alone! Or...Or I'll...uhm. I'm not..sure what I'll do, but you're not going to like it I bet. I'll..uuugh..tickle you! I hate it when people do that to me. Be good or I'll give you a tickling!"

Power Girl has posed:
There was...a blink, slow and bewildered from the blonde woman as she glances upwards at the girl with the box. "What a threat," she muses aloud, slowly taking flight in more of a hovering 'glide' upwards until she comes to rest hovering level with Saorise over open air, arms crossed under her bust as she raises an eyebrow. "I'm not..." she begins before shaking her head, "Tickling? Seriously? How often does that actually work?"
The Kryponian woman glances down to the workers, but surely by now they'd recognized her or at least the fact she wasn't a threat, so her gaze comes back to the box of doughnuts instead. "Can I steal one of those?"

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse hmmns. "Well actually pretty well. There was one time when someone tried to rob a store, and I tickled them. They didn't like losing control of the situation and having someone's will imposed on them, the tickling. It really freaked them out. I was going to let him go, but the actual superhero guy there said no, and the police took them. But it's actually pretty effective." She holds the box protectively. "No! These are my donuts, you can't steal them!" This is done fairly reflexively, but after a moment of thought she slowly floats up and straightens so she's floating there with her, and offers the box with both hands holding it. "But you can have one though, because I'm giving you one. I'm Saoirse. I can float too!" She giggles softly and smiles "Floating is kind of the best, isn't it?"

Power Girl has posed:
"I suppose it would be super embarassing, but I'm more the 'punch in the face or throw across the room' sort of girl if it gets to that." Power Girl can't help but look a little amused at the protective reflex, but when the box is offered she's quick to bend down and reach in. Of course, she'd end up taking one of the jellies, but what can one do? An immediate bite taken, there's a groan of satisfaction from the Kryptonian at the sugar fix before she looks back to the girl floating alongside with a little laugh. "It has its moments, no denying."

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse nods "I think so too!" She takes a bite of the cake donut and chews. "I like when it's kinda crunchy, but chewy too. It's so yum! If you get some cake donuts you can airfry them for a few minutes, they get crunchier on the outside and stay soft and yummy inside. It works really well if you freeze them, so you can just have what you want from a package."

She looks a little closer, bending over to do so to get a close-up look at the other woman's fingers. "Wow, your fingers are in really good shape for punching people in the face. I don't do that. But I'm not all that well coordinated either. I'm just really getting out of physical therapy. So I'm getting better! But I've never been very coordinated. Want to sit with me and help me eat all the donuts?"

Power Girl has posed:
Finer points of doughnut preparation offered, Power Girl is quite happy to just listen. Of course, it does help that she's got a cake of her own to enjoy too. As her fingers were inspected? The blonde laughs and lips her lips clear of an errant jam droplet.

"I don't really get busted knuckles or anything like that really easy," she begins, only to blink at the mention of physical therapy. "How did you get hurt?"

Saoirse Flynn has posed:
Saoirse hmmns. "Well..it's kind of a long story..." She straightens. "Um..I'm not a hero..I'm not even the star of my own story, I never have been. But I beleive in people..and everyone, even me, can be a hero just once. My father launched a nano-tech infused missle with a dispersion system towards africa to infect the population there with nanotechnology. Doing this to someone without their consent, like me, isn't the right option. Even..if they can't consent, like me. So..my sister, a superhero was incapacitated. So I took a damaged fancy space laser, and overloaded what powers me, my core and flew after it. I fired the space laser to destroy it, and I did managed to take it down, but my core melted down and out of me, the blast also completely cooked all of my head, melted off my arm, and there was a whole lot of damage. It's been a few years, and I got better, but..well. While they have all grown back, there definately is a personal cost to being a hero. Even if it's just for one day."
