Hela has posed:
At mid-day is when there's least activity at Club Mjolnir, so Elle has a moment to sit at the head of one of the long tables, having a perfect view of the club and any who may stumble in for lunch. Or perhaps to just sit awhile, a certain presence has her looking towards the door expectantly.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
There's nothing to do in the garage, well not right now...so Mercy's here. She's here because she's got a history degree, and this place has got her curious. So in she comes in her American flag t-shirt, jeans, and a winter coat. Odd mix, but her work boots are still on, and her hair's tied back in braids. She pauses as she enters and looks around with an almost excited look. See, she studied Norse mythology for her degree, after all. But she is itching to examine every inch of this place, and....and is that....Mjolnir? Hey, it'll help with panel beatings in the shop now she thinks about it.Mercy though steps closerr to the long table, and picks the first seat she comes to. Because why no

Hela has posed:
"Welcome to Club Mjolnir, I'm the proprietress, Elle, would you care for complimentary tankard of mead...?" Elle extends the offer to Mercy as she walks into her club, standing up as she walks over to greet the woman. "I see you took notice of our star trophy," Elle smiles, "it's an exact replica. The real one, naturally, is in the hands of the God of Thunder."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"Mead? As in, actual, genuine, ninth century Mead?" Mercy asks, eyes glittering with amusement. "I'm afraid not. I don't drink" Mercy says with a look somewhere between relief....and disappointment, though she smiles nonetheless. "So" Mercy offers. "Is this whole place tied into Mjolnir and its legends and myths?" she adds then changes tack. "What have you got for lunch?" Mercy adds with a genuine smile, The whole gushing due to a history degreee? That comes later. Mercy though is amused, and glancing up at the replica hammer every so often.

Hela has posed:
"Actual mead," Elle remarks, looking a bit surprised at how preplexed Mercy seems, "we are, after all, Norse themed. You'll find a lot of the things in here are authentic, such as the story of the Eddas, if you care to follow the tapestries," she points at the walls decorated thusly. "That would largely depend on just how much you know, but yes, much of it revolves on the story of Asgard and the Norse people." When asked about lunch, Elle remarks, "we have Norse fare, or American, pick as you choose..." she motions for a server to bring Mercy a menu.

Noting the recurring looks at Mjolnir atop the bar, Elle asks, "would you like to take a picture with it?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods t the question of Mjolnir, and smiles. "Lunch would be good. Hmm, half Norse, half American" she says as she gets up and the menu's forgotten for the moment, Mercy more interested in the replica Mjolnir...and photo taken, Mercy settles back into her chair and peruses the menu again. She settles on a mixed plate of Norse meats and American fare, as she smiles then looks to the tapestries, as Mercy is going through the stories woven into the cloth. Watching the tapestries, Mercy turns her gaze bak to the menu then Elle.

Hela has posed:
"I'll have the server bring you a sampler plate, you'll get a taste of both worlds, I always lean on the Nordic side of things," Elle mentions as she extends her hand and Mjolnir's replica flies towards her just like the real thing, before she grabs it in a sweeping motion and extends it to Mercy, "here, you can take a picture while holding it. Want me to take it for you?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods and grins widely. "Yes, please. Take the picture" she nods and looks to the sampler plate, as Mercy settles in with a knowing look then over the club again. Looking along the tapestries, Mercy looks pleased, in awe at Mjolnir.

Hela has posed:
Elle waits to be handed Mercy's phone, before snapping a picture of her holding Mjolnir, or what would be the closest thing to the real thing. Albeit...the hammer did fly to Elle's hand, could it be the real article? Who knows. Handing Mercy her phone back, Elle lets her handle the hammer, "I'm sure you can appreciate how much damage that could do if swung violently...it's an underrated tool of warfare."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"I work with hammers and wrenches. I'm aware how dangerous they are" she says wryly as Mercy nods, carefully setting the hammer down on the table, ever so gently, almost reverentially. She looks over it, then to Elle. "You said you're the hoestess, right?" she asks. "So do you own the club as well?" Mercy asks with a curious gleam in her eyes.

Hela has posed:
"What is it that you do...?" Elle asks curiously, as she follows how the hammer is placed down with her eyes, looking quite approving. "I am the owner, actually, but I do occasionally help around as well. You may have heard of me during the Black Sleep, the media referred to me as Miracle Elle."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy smiles, "Oh I'm a mechanic by trade" she says, looking over the table again, "I work with wrenches and hammers daily, though as good as Mjolnir would be for panel beating, I like having working wiring in my shop" Mercy adds with a glint in her eye then smirks. "Plus all the lightning and lore with the hammer, too" Mercy muses, "It'd play havoc with parts"

Then she looks serious. "So, you're that Elle?" she adds with a wry grin. "Don't worry. I won't ask for an autograph, nope" Mercy adds, keeping a straight face. See, she can be sarcastic and look innocent.

Hela has posed:
"Mechanic...?" Elle looks a bit lost at that, as if she hadn't heard of the job before. "Oh...so you devise machines!" Elle looks duly impressed, "something like material wizardry of sorts, isn't it?" She nods when realizing Mercy was unaware, "indeed, I am. That fame is what brought me to get the chance to open this club. It's been a fun experience, coming to the United States, meeting a different culture and experiencing different people." She laughs at the sly comment about an autograph, "if you like I can give you one, but I do admit to not understanding the custom."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy nods. "I keep them working and repair them when they don't work" she says. Ah boiling down her job down to the simplest way of putting it. Hers is a world of CV joints and oil lines and other details. But she's boiling it down to what it really. She smiles and, she laughs softly. "Oh no no, I'm not somebody who is all oh hey I need an autograph. Believe me that's the last thing on my mind. I've just kept my head down, and I've stayed in my garage and done my thing, out of trouble" Mercy declares keenly.

Hela has posed:
"You sound sensible then, there's little purpose to gathering autographs of other people. I mean...what does that even do?" Elle clearly never heard of selling famous people's autographs on ebay. "I praise you on doing honest work, it's impressive enough all on it's own."
