Blackout has posed:
Last time on the Adventures of Blackout....guest starring Fiona... A couple of weeks back the Baron Zemo set an elaborate trap for Blackout and happened to capture Fiona as well. That was part of his plan, of course, to help entice Blackout to do as Zemo requested - join the Masters of Evil. Blackout did; thus leaving Fiona somewhere in Eastern Europe.

This only pisssed Fiona off. She was having a nice vacation with her man and it was interrupted by some bloke wearing a red pillow case over his head. So, what is the Irish woman to do? Well, what would any Irish woman do at this point? Cross all maner of heaven and hell to get her man back and no one will stand in her way.

Contacts, resources, assets, debts, credits, and payoffs. Those are what it takes to get information on one Baron Zemo and his rag-tag crew called the Masters of Evil. (They really need a better name.) Not only did she find them, but she found out Zemo's plans. Zemo intends to use Blackout to transport into and out of Russia and in doing so, steal a nuclear device from beneath the Tripanik Military Base of Moscow. A medium sized military base located southwest of Moscow. As per the course, the base is heavily guarded and the technical devices within the base limit power use, teleportation, and dimensional travel. So, getting in is harder than getting out. Zemo's plan was pretty straight forward. Get in using conventional means. A small team shuts down the power grid and the power dampeners. The other steals the missile. Then they all escape with the missile in the darkforce dimension.

The best thing about Fiona is she's scrappy, smart, and not only does she like blowing things up, but she's just a normal human with a skillset that of a meta. So this is right up her alley. Plus, it doesn't hurt to have contacts who know how to reach the Winter Guard - former Soviet Super Soldiers. A group of Russian Government backed heroes who will be glad to capture Zemo and his nefarious gang of evil villains. She will contact them when and if the time is right.

We open the scene with Fiona sneaking onto the military base. She's in CIA black gear and super stealthy as she moves across the tarmac toward the central building where the nuclear device is stored. Dodging searchlights, guards, and highly trained attack dogs, Fiona gets to the side of the building nearto a side access door where she will have to hack the security panel to get inside.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona's studying the door and relaying what's going on with Sam and Mike. This. This is a team effort. Looking at the door, Fi nods and watches the door for a moment. She's got an idea what tod do once she gets in. With Sam and Mike's guidance, she heads inside and silently smiles, slipping inside. She's no trained CIA spook, but she's been around Sam and Mike enough, plus her days in the IRA to know what to do. Don't get caught. And don't launch a nuclear missile, either. Do exactly what she's here for. Get in. Done. Do what she's here to, and then get out of there. Then again, Fi's got enough contacts to get the layout of here, this base, the information. Fi's finally found a use for her former Soviet military contacts.

Blackout has posed:
The door's magnetic lock deactivates allowing the door to be easily pulled open.

Inside there is a corridor that goes right and left. The lights are half on to conserve power but still offer illumination. There are many doors on the inside of the corridor. But no windows on the outside wall. Colored stripes are painted on the floor offering direction to points A, B, C, D, E, F, etc. And there's a map on the wall opposite the door she's opening. The map is in Russian (imagine that) and indicates the various types of offices on this floor. The building itself is 5 levels high. The map also demonstrates a large area in the center of the building for storage with workshops. That's where the device would be.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona looks over the map and looks over it one more time. She's got a path in mind. Guards, yeah they're a problem, on the other hand, she punches like a Dublin truck driver driving to Sunday Mass. So....she's not the easiest to take down. Plus they did helpfully provide a map for her to figure out and put stripes on the walls. If anything, Fiona's probably broken into the most helpful base anywhere she could pick from. Even some open prisons are harder to get into and get around in. Which is saying something...the stereotype about drunk Russians comes to mind. Maybe that's the stripes?

Blackout has posed:
In route, Fiona will discover that there are no guards in the hallways. Additionally, the security camera's don't seem to track her and their little red lights flash instead of remain constant. As if they are in some loop. Rounding one corner, she will find some guards that are unconscious. Knocked out as if there was a struggle. Then moving to where she can find the entrance into the main storage area, she will hear voices. One very distinct; Baron Zemo states, "You see my comrades, this device will destroy all of Metropolis in an instant. Not even the Superfamily can do anything about such a wave of destruction."

Looking into the room, Fiona will see other guards who are unconscious, three agents, the Armadillo , and Blackout. There's also a hole in the floor where the Armadillo likely dug up from. But then she hears other agents coming down the hallway from behind her. They are discussing how they took out all the guards of the building. They don't see her, nor does she see them yet. There's a broom closet nearby to hide within if she was so inclined.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Into the broom closet Fi ducks, she's waiting. Oh if there's any weapons around she's grabbed one before ducking inside and is just biding her time. Given how good a shot she is, it's highly likely she could take them all....and get away with it. She's just that good.Well then, Fiona's waiting, biding her time, and hoping they don't notice her.

Blackout has posed:
    Fi ducks just in time.

The 6 agents walk by and into the storage room with Zemo. They report in. Indicating that the building is secure. Now there are a total of 9 agents, Armadillo, Blackout and Zemo in the storage room. They are all standing nearto the nuclear device which is in a metal box 6'x6'x6'. Zemo states, "Now we wait for the other team to shut down the facility. They have 3 minutes."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fiona's that good with shooting people. She's stuck her head out and is brandishing an AK-47. Given how common those were and their variants in the USSR, Fiona could just pick a direction and find one within ten paces. She's lining up a shot and made sure to grab one with a full magazine. It's on full auto, but...Fi's used these so often she's used to it. Finger on the trigger, she aims for a kill shot...a 7.62mm bullet is not to be trifled with. With a pull of the trigger, five bullets are fired, the clatter not exactly quiet, but Fiona's taken careful aim at them, and dives back in the closet. This won't work forever...she'll need to get creative and find new locations. At least she was smart enough to step out and back several paces before firing and dive for the closet once she was done. Hiding is kind of something she's good at. Guess the facility isn't so secure after all...

Blackout has posed:
One of the agents falls dead. The others scatter but will take defefnsive positions.

Zemo yells, "Armadillo, kill them!" thinking it is a group of soldiers that are attacking. No one ever saw Fi. She was too quick.

The Armadillo starts moving toward the hallway entrance that Fi is within. "I'll take care of them, Baron."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi's already running when the Armadillo's starting to move. So she's well aware of all the entrances, and like a lady of high society (yeah right. Fiona doesn't fit into that world), she rolls a fragmentation grenade she took off of a dead soldier, down the hall toward the Armadillo. Legalities? Screw it. This is life or death thank you very much...

And she's booking t. There's many many entry points. If she can work this out right, she'll be having the agents and Zimo and the Armadillo playing Whac-a-Fiona. The slightly less fun, for Fi at any rate, version of Whack-a-mole. With bullets.

She skitters to another entry point and pauses for a moment, another hail of bullets from another AK-47 she picked up, her old one left as a middle finger to those fine people. Oh she's got a Tokarev stashed in her pocket, too, the Russian pistol, and a Skorpion sub machine pistol tucked away oo. She's using the AK because of how common they ar. Same....sorta goes for both. Both are common, but not as common as the ubiqutious AK series of assault rifles. Fiona can't think of a country she's been in where there isn't at least one person with an AK...and she's adding to the total in Russia, by firing, and running. This time, a flashbang is thrown in, before Fiona flees to the next entry point. Oh she's quick on her feet Fiona....and she's got a plan in mind.

She just needs to free Blackout and save the world...and somewhere, Yakkity Sax is playing. Thtt is where her thought process is...

Blackout has posed:
Another hail of bullets are sprayed into the stoage area. A bit more noise than Zemo wanted and he's getting quite annoyed. He's commanding his men via radio. The agents are scattering down hallways at his direction. Giving chase. But careful not to be easy targets for the mad Irishwoman. He's also screaming over the radio to his other team to get them to hurry up and turn off the dampening field. When this happens, the Winter Guard may also be able to show up and give Fi support - if she wanted to call them. Also, if the field goes down, Blackout will be able to use his powers. As it stands, he's next to Zemo hiding behind some pretty solid metal to avoid bullets.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Oh Fiona's already called them in. She's waiting, and feels like they'd e helpful. Oh they're helping out, engaging agents, and Fi's the rabbit for them to chase. She's just leading a wild goose chase and looks pleased. Crimson Dynamo is here, and picking a fight with the agents. Well that's one ally in her corner. Sprinting down a hallway, Fi's setting traps and barricading quickly to try her best to funnel the agents toward the Dynamo. Or, hopefully, they turn off the dampening field...here come the cavalry once that's done. Fi's just thinking on her feet and then some.

Blackout has posed:
There are gunshot noises and cries of surprise from agents as the Crimson Dynamo jumps out and starts taking down agents. That's also the same time that the base alarm begins to sound. Lights start flashing.

From above, the Red Guardian throws his mighty shield at Zemo and leaps from the rafters.

Zemo never saw it coming and he's nailed.

Blackout ducks off to the side.

Fi turns a corner to be confronted by the 7' tall Armadillo. He's slow, large, bulky, but has these mean looking claws. He says, "Gotcha!" and sweeps in to grab at her.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Oh great. Fi's got an idea. She's quicker and more agile than him....and she steps back, then sprints down the corridor too. Looking over her shoulder for a split second, she's like a rat in a maze, this way and that, and....by chance, by sheer cosmic chance, she's heading back, in a winding looping pattern to the storage areas. And leaving things in her way to slow the Armadillo down. If in doubt, slow the hulking brute down. And about thaat generator...well....Fi's got a plan for it. On the other hand she's heard snatches of radio conversation. if it's off, good. if not...she's got a plan for that, After she deals with the Armadillo...

Blackout has posed:
The Armadillo gives chase. But after so many turns he slows down and starts walking. He's not the smartest of persons. He calls out, "Okay... I can't find you. Where did you go?"

There's an explosion across the base. Suddenly all the power goes out. Lights, cameras, power dampening fields, everything. The emergency backup power will kick on a second later. Which just offers emergency lighting, alarms, and some major doors. But not dampening fields.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
In come the cavalry, the Winter Guard. Fiona's pleased and happy for the help. Though that explosion worried her when she heard it. Now though she's running full pelt for the storage room to get to Blackout and get out of here. The Winter Guard can deal with Zimo and so on, Fi's got herself into the storage room and is slowly, carefully, working her way toward Blackout. She gives the Dynamo a nod of thanks and appreciation.

Blackout has posed:
There's a fight in the main room between Zemo and Red Guardian. Zemo is quickly defeated and routed. Blackout faded into the shadows.

Fi will see a shadow to her left that's darker than it should be. She can see his outline and she will hear a psst, "Hey, girl who saved me... commere."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi spins on a toe and heads for the voice and shadow. Hey. Tis worked out well. Not a good day for Zimo at all. Plus her team got to help. Oh she's gonna have to introduce Blackout to them really....because she may not have powers. But she has friends in powerful places eally. Fi bolts for the voice and looks ready to fight if it's a trap.

Blackout has posed:
Emerging a bit more from the shadows, Marcus doesn't wear his mask and he says, "Hey, don't shoot me."

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
"Why would I? C'mon let's get out of here" Fiona says. "Pretty sure the heavy hitters got this sorted out. I'm ready to go home, and rest and recover from all the excitement" she offers with a smirk.

Blackout has posed:
There's a portal open behind him. "My thoughts exactly. And he turns and will walk into the portal - it remains open for her to follow. Exiting stage left, even.

Fiona Glenanne has posed:
Fi does, indeed, follow and all but runs into the portal, shaking her head with a worried look. She wants to just....go home. Relax, and....ah yeah, relax and sleep off the adventures. Mark's safe. Score one for team awesome!
