Date of Scene: 15 March 2020
Location: Gym - X-Men Base
Synopsis: Remy and Jubilee have burgers while Remy works out
Cast of Characters: Jubilee, Gambit

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee rollerskates into the gym area, with multiple bags of greasy fast food under her arms. Five Guys, according to the label. She has multiple french fries sticking out of the left corner of her mouth, like a salty set of potato cigarettes.

"Hear ye, hear ye, getcha pipin' hot bag o' burgers, fresh off the griddle if ya count fresh as me drivin' fifteen miles to get 'em, better'n the cafeteria slop, c'mon, ya healthy suckers!"

She twirls to a top in front of where Remy works out, a bang dangling in a hand. She's wearing neon blue shorts and a tank top that says U CAN'T C Me. "What about you, Mr. Cajun? You gonna have some or do I need to put some tabasco or alligator tails in there for ya?"

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau is wearing a muscle shirt and sweat pants and a calm expression on his face. It's late at night and he rather expects to have the Gym to himself. He loves training with the X-Men, but long before that he was a thief, and the Danger Room isn't the place to hone those skills. He closes his eyes, taking a moment to center himself, then launches himself up onto a pommel horse... Swining and moving to a perfect time to a music in his head... which is naturally when the schools resident firecracker walks in with artery clogging goodness.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee watches the spectacular display of athleticism, pushing her sunglasses up onto her forehead to reveal sparkling brown eyes, "Wowie. I'm pretty good at the ol' pommel horse, but you are whewwwwwwwww daddy!" she says.

She hops up onto one of the weight benches, opening a back and pulling out a burger, stuffing a few fries under the bun, "Feel free to have a nosh if you're tempted, but I understand if you want to preserve your six pack. Heck, I wanna preserve your six pack."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau dismounts an laughs a little shaking his head. "Ah 'ave a super fast metabolism." He tells her walking over and taking a burger. I mean you really don't get much better the Five guys." He takes a big bite and moans slightly, "Scott kick our collective asses foh 'aving food in 'ere. Yah know dat right." He says swiping some fries. "What no vinegar?"

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee pokes around, "I think there's packets in some of the bag. Some people don't like that stuff. I don't mind it, but it ain't a must. I wish they had cheese fries. How does that place not have cheese fries?" she mutters, "And why do they serve hot dogs? Who orders hot dogs at a fast food place?"

"Super fast metabolism must be nice. This'll probably make my ass fat, but hopefully with a ph."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a bit and says "It's one of cose t'ings, yah'll jus' wake up one day an' decide it's de best way ta 'ave fires. Really only places yah can get it is 5 Guys an' Long John's." He finds a vineger packet and adds some to his fries moaning with pleasure. "In a way it nice. Sometimes it's actully frustratin'. Always a nusance ta suddonly realise yah got no fuel foh yah power.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee tries not to stare too closely when the Cajun moans, but she does a little bit cause...well, how could she not. "I imagine that would kinda suck. I don't run out of fireworks often unless we're fighting someone who gives us a serious workout. And, in that case, my fireworks probably aren't the most effective thing anyway. So I usually only run out if I"m fighting, like, a big bunch of people. Like aliens or robots or just asshole bigots," she shrugs. "And, on the last one, I don't mind blasting 'em as much as I can."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks just a little bit, shrugging. "Energy gotta come from somewhere non? Scott get lucky, he draws de energy from de sun. But me? Dat energy gotta come from inside me. De junk in mah body get pushed inta de t'ings Ah charge up. Push de atoms too close toget'er... dat makes t'ings blow up.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee winces, "Sounds like science. Yuck. I don't know how my fireworks work. Not really sure it matters, long as they do," she says. She finishes stuffing down a burger far too big for her petite frame, wiping her mouth with a napkin and then taking a long sip from a straw thrust into a jumbo soda.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau rolls his eyes slightly and takes a long drink from his bottle of water, downing about half of it then pouring the rest over his head to cool himself off from his work out. "Dat's not a good attitude ta 'ave chere." He says teasingly. "Don' make me soun' like Fearless 'ere, but yah gotta know 'ow de rules of yah own powers work, if foh no ot'er reason so yah know 'ow ta break dem." He says moving towards the parallel bar's.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee grins, "You're right, you do sound like Cyclops," she says. "I understand the effect they have just fine. But ol' Professor Fuzzface starts goin' on about particles and interactive energy fields and blah blah blah and I'm sorry, but I like totally fall asleep before he's even close to done. I get it enough. I get it, like, the streetsmarts way. Just don't gotta write an essay about it."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau starts going through a routine on the bars. Not a fast one, but rather one that is slow, precise, and that takes more stamina then strength. "Jus' wan' yah ta be de bes' yah can be chere. Aftah all if somet'ing were ta 'appen ta yah chere, life in dis place woul' be even more unbareable."

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee leans back against the support of the weight bench. "Awwwwwwwwwwww, don't worry, I'm not going anywhere anytime soon, tall drink. I'm pretty freakin' awesome already, just tryin' to give the rest of you a chance to catch up," she says, giving a wink, her eyes bright beneath blue-tinted eyelids.

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a bit, swings through a release on the bars and manages to move it into a transition to the balance beam as if it had been placed there specifically for that very purpose. He smirks and gives Jubilee a wink. "Keep practicing petie.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee sticks her tongue out, "You keep practicing," she says, although she's not entirely kidding, as she's clearly enjoying watching the show. She tosses a fry in the air and catches it in her mouth on the first try, "You ever thought of going into show biz? You could sell tickets to this."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a little bit and starts int a series of motions not too unlike one of Logan's katas... only yah know, on a balance beam. "probably woul' return ta mah more nepharious life if Ah evah lef' de X-Men. It certainly woul' pay bettah den show biz, non?"

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee gets out a lollipop, one of those cherry ones with the bubble gum in the middle. "I do know. I was a bit of a professional shoplifter back in my runaway days," she says. "Not a thief at your pay grade, mind you, but I did okay. Made due anyway. An' I'd be better at it now. But I suppose I ought to stay here and do good and be awesome. For my fellow mutants, of course."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau smirks a bit and shrugs, somehow making it look like the motion is part of the sequence. "No shame in stealing ta live chere, An' don' yah evah let anyone tell yah ot'erwise." He shrugs a bit, "Ta me de mark was nevah about de /value/. It was about de game. Finding ways ta get ta t'ings dat ot'ers trying so 'ard ta keep me away from.

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee grins, "Well, to me, it was about the stuff. Yeah, I stole to live. I also stole, like, jewelry and make-up and nice clothes. And I snuck into a lot of movies," she grins, "I basically lived in the mall for most of a year before I found my way here."

Gambit has posed:
Remy LeBeau laughs a little bit and just shrugs slightly. "Is what it is chere." he says philosophically, rolling along the bar and coming back to his feet. "How dey not notice yah chere? Yah do rather stand out.."

Jubilee has posed:
Jubilee grins, "WEll, it wasn't that weird for me to be in the mall. I guess I kinda blended in after a while, became part of the environment. Plus, I'm pretty little and I"m good at dodging cameras. And cops," she says.
