Location: Flatbush, Brooklyn
Synopsis: Random coffee scene.
Cast of Characters: Red, Morgana le Fay, Lockdown

Red has posed:
Flatbush isn't especially populated on the roads around 5 AM but for those that got to open shops early so those that go to work in some two or three hours can grab their breakfast on the way. Or those that actually have to do something. Alice though, is neither, as it's her day off and she *still* is on the way down the road from Mutanttown like every day... just like some hours too early and on her day off.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
It's not quite anger one certain Morgana le Fey is feeling towards humans, and that includes mutants. It's not got to that point yet. Mostly since long nights in Avalon of caring for her people through what would usually be a winter...and now she's in the human world, moving among those she hates. She's wearing her robes but left the crown at home. No need to kill a mugger for trying to steal it. Oh she hasn't worked up to hatred yet, if anything she looks paler than usual. That's down to exhausting herself with magic. She's taken a week to recover this time. Footfalls are heard on the sidewalk, the swish of her robes is heard as Morgana moves quietly, as if scoping out what she wants to subjugate and humiliate. One day...

But first. Coffee. Even queens of mythical realms and islands (albeit shared with others) need sustenance and...well....Morgana needs to keep awake and on her toes if she's ever going to achieve her end goals. Piercing emerald eyes stare out at the world, the look daring anyone to try anything with her coffee order.

Lockdown has posed:
The Great War had recently come to Terra. Cybertronians had largely ignored this ball of blue in Sol for millions of years, with both sides busy turning each other into slag over how to move into the future. It's a war that has devastated the race as a whole. Some might say good riddance...

Lockdown... would not. Always on the lookout for ways to save the Cybertronian race, he nonetheless needs to eat... and try to keep the peace.

Today, Lockdown has been touring Terra since his original landing in Canada a few weeks ago. With Blurr in hiding, Lockdown needed to get updated on Terran culture if he wanted to blend in here long term... luckily for Cybertronians, blending in is one of many things they're good at.

Parked on the street opposite of the coffee shop is a black and red muscle car of high end make. The engine is exposed, and there are spikes dotting the structure and tires. Inside is a human looking man wearing a bikers jacket, full beard, and cowboy hat.

Of course, the man is nothing more than a holomatter avatar; a remote controlled vehicle designed as a Cybertronian equivalent of a UAV... the real 'person'... is the car underneath it.

For now, Lockdown is content to stay silent.

Red has posed:
Alice meanwhile found the little caffee and gave the early crew about to open it a friendly wave, waiting with hands in the pockets because it was still rather chill. Like cold. A moment she glanced over to the robed one, giving her a shrug and a nod. Hey, she was working costumes, some people came to her shop looking as if they had fallen from filmsets to order their changeover to the next one.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Noting the wave, Morgana gives a curt nod with hands in her robes too, keeping warm as well. Looking over to both the car and Alice, Morgana waits. Oh she's not happy with this. It's cold. She's got no coffee or caffeine or anything, and she's surrounded by humans. Great. Just wonderful

The nod draws a smile. The shrug? Not so much, Morgana is vain, but the shrug and nod is attention aftr all. So...Morgana will wait. She's absolutely got time to wait. She's got time, she's had centuries of waiting. What's another half hour or more?

Lockdown has posed:
The man inside the vehicle does nothing when Morgana looks his way for a moment. A few moments later, and green eyes look her way as the avatar watches her stand there.

It takes about ten seconds before the avatar looks back to the dashboard, and sees 'him' start to type into the touchscreen.

Of course, this is only to give the appearance of being busy. Lockdown himself is still keeping his sensors on the woman.

Red has posed:
Alice finally saw the sign getting turned, the door unlocked and she slipped in with a friendly wave to the cashiers. "Some coffee, black, and a breakfast bagle please? The ones with Pastrami."

Morgana le Fay has posed:
With a look to the car and the 'man' inside, Morgana follows Alice in and listens. She closes her eyes for a moment, taking a breath and looks like she's awake too early. "Coffee. Sugar. Cream" she says. It's like she's telling a servant what she wants. Which in her mind is true, humans are beneath her after all they've done. There's a flash of anger in her eyes as she surveys the store. This would look so much better bowing down to her. Though Alice gets a look and her eyes soften a little. "Did you say pastrami?"she asks, voice having a hint of irritation mixed with tiredness. Great, Morgana's about to buy human food. What's the world coming to..?

So she waits, patiently and quietly, hands in her robes still. If she needs to 'convince' people, she's got many forms of magic at her finger tips. But....magic has a cost, and standing behind Alice gives her an idea. She's got illusions at her fingertips, so why not skip out on paying? Royalty doesn't have to pay for coffee...right?

Lockdown has posed:
Meanwhile, out in the street, Lockdown has been monitoring the various signals of the area. Cityscapes often have a lot of information there, after all... but the holomatter avatar gets out of the 'car' and starts to walk in.

For anyone around, the man screams 'outlaw bounty hunter' from movies.

Which, to be fair, Lockdown pretty much is that himself, which is why he chose this form for Terra.

As it is, the 'man' walks over to one of the tables and takes a seat... before just sitting there. Silently.

Morgana will be able to notice the 'man' is watching her out of most of the patrons.

Red has posed:
"Uh, yea. Pastrami. That italian thing which is kinda like roastbeef but less squary and more long and stripy." Alice tries to explain as she spins to Morgana, pulling out some of the green bills to pay. Thy're a little crumpled from the wallet, but good. It's jsut a little smile as she hands them over to the casheir.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
"So why not" Morgana starts, "Have roast beef instead? It sounds like pastrami is worse" she offers. Admittedly her tastes are refined, and she's used to having food she thinks is is good enough. Not everyone has that luxury, howwever, and she spins and watches the walking cowboy hat. Somebody likes their hats, she assumes. Turning back to Alice, Morgana looks a little puzzled. On the other hand, Morgana feels like she's being watched, and not being a fan of that, she's an idea how to sort that.

irst, the woman in front of her getting her coffee is all part of it. And that not roast beef bagel, too. Morgana's made many many trips to the human world. And she's never once understood the pointt of bagels, ever

Lockdown has posed:
Once it becomes clear Morgana is just another customer, 'Lockdown' starts to survey the rest of those in the shop, their interactions, what is being used...

It's a learning experience, and Lockdown is here to observe, not interject. At least not yet.

Red has posed:
"Nah, Pastrami is spiced and roastbeef is like uncooked in the core! That's gross." Alice quips, waiting for her own bagle. Jewish baked good dunked in boiling water befre cooking for perfect crust AND fluff. She fetchesn both her order parts from the counter as they arrive, then moves to one of the free seats.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana looks over Alice, then looks a little puzzled. "So. You eat it because it's spiced?" she asks. Oh, humans still confuse Morgana even now, she sweeps her gaze around the shop and returns it to Alice.

Moving to sit, Morgana pulls a chair out and sticks with coffee. If anything, she wants food she knows is good quality and doesn't trust this place's food.

Collecting her coffee, Morgana sits finally and picks a spot where she can keep an eye on everyone.

Red has posed:
Alice lifts an eyebrow at Morgana. "You would eat bland food?" she asks as she lifts her bagle and gives it a hearty bite before taking a sip from her cup, eying the fae with the odd behavior carefully. "What film, if I may ask?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
"What film?" Morgana asks, trying not to laugh at the curiosity of this woman. Oh if only she knew. Where's Mordred when he's needed for pop culture putting his feet in it?

Morgana picks one out of thin air. "it's a remake of Quest for Camelot" Morgana admits sheepishly. "I got to wear the robes"

Which isn't /technically/ a lie given her end goals. She just didn't ever imagine being thought of as in a film. "I shoulsn't tell you, should I?" Morgana adds keeping the sheepish look, then glances over to the cowboy hat and the figure beneath it. "You think he's in a film too?" she speculates.

Morgana's not fitting in with pop culture, really. It was the first one that came to mind...mostly since, well, Morgana's not a big movie fan. Instead she's curious enough to ask. "Why'd you think I'm in a film? I mean, you're not wrong. But..."

Red has posed:
"Classic... so I guess your persona's Morgana then? Good handiwork on your seamstress. I'm in costumes, I do notice a costume when I see it." Alice quips, turning to look over to the cowboy.

"Nah, that's just an average cowboy. Like... Texas or new mexico. Lacks the beard to make a texas ranger, no gun belt with a colt and modern jeans, so unfit for an italo western. And..." A moment she peers out. "New York plates. Maybe a western fan at best. More likely a southerner that moved here."

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana raises an eyebrow. Maybe this can work out in the end. Shee does need new robes every so often, after all. But still, she smiles. "Correct" she says.

Not quite a persona really. Morgana is the real deal, and shrugs looking outside the window.

She's not that familiar with cars. If anything, she looks back to Alice then raises her coffeee cup and sips.

Lockdown has posed:
Lockdown of course notices the two looking his way... but he still does nothing. Instead, he directs the avatar to glance back in their direction with a friendly wave. A decidedly southern accent comes out of the caucasian man, "She's a real beauty, ain't she?" The man states by way of statement and question all rolled into one.

Then, he goes back to observing, gauging reactions to his outburst.

Red has posed:
Alice takes a few more quick bites of the bagle, then peers at her watch. Just enough time for a little chat maybe. "Yu mean your car? Little bit oberbuilt for my liking. Nothing 'gainst the exposed engine, but spiked hubcaps? We ain't Australia after WW3 and we ain't Mad Max." she snarks a little.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
"It's a car" Morgana offers. "You use it to get from A to B" she adds and finishes up her coffee with a nod and looks to Alice then Lockdown. "We're not Australia" she adds and gets up. Time for her to get going. Morgana's got places to be, people to se, and....all that fun stuff. She smiles, and sets to head out, though she looks over to both of them again.

Red has posed:
Alice nods as she bites down her last piece of bagle, then gulps her coffee before handing back her cup and plate, moving to the door son after. Just a short coffee stop.

Lockdown has posed:
"No accounting fer taste." The man notes, before he stands up and starts to head to the door.

As he's just about to leave, he turns towards Alice... and gives her a tip of the hat, before heading over to the drivers seat.

Moments later, Lockdown starts to speed off into the city, in search of new stimuli to learn from.
