In the Shadows
Date of Scene: 05 April 2020
Location: The Bronx Subway Station
Synopsis: A shopping trip with a stop at the Bronx subway station turns into a chaotic misadventure when Pixie follows a fairy down an abandoned tunnel...
Cast of Characters: Pixie, Red, Blurr, Lockdown, Nightingale, Wolverine

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn is determined to get some shopping done, and maybe buy some new materials so that Alice can create her some cool new costumes for her next (hopefully) big gig. And so they're waiting at the subway station, but they just missed the train which means it's quiet on the tracks as they wait for the next one, "Ugh what a paiiin. I hate waiting!" she whines a little, shifting on her feet.

Red has posed:
"Could be worse. Like, the subway getting shut down because some crazy superhuman fight on the other end of town because they fear flooding the tunnels." Alice notes as she ruffles through her own red hair to try to sort it. "So what kinda costume you're looking for? I'm not touching a needle but I'll see what I can do."

Blurr has posed:
Blurr has been hiding in the subway tunnels of Manhattan ever since his second run-in with Lockdown, figuring that the bounty hunter must be tracking him with some algorithm on his ship.

So if he's hiding underground, that would force Lockdown to come down here himself and search the labyrnith. He has mainly been hiding out in an abandoned station, but has tried not to stay in one place for too long...

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn hmms, "Well, I haven't really figured that out yet..Maybe like, another fairy princess costume would be cool.." she giggles, "Heey, did I tell you I met an actual fairy queen? Gotta look good for my friend.." oh yes, she has lots of ideas! But they need to get to the mall, darnit! "Ugh, where's this darn train already? looks like they're running late..." and then she catches a glint of green glittery...Something, trailing through the tunnel and...Vanishing around a corner, "Uh Heey, did you see that?" was it another fairy? "Ummm it's getting away, we should follow!" and since that darned train us taking forever, she hops down onto the tracks, peering down the corner, "Looks like it vanished down that abandoned tunnel..."

Red has posed:
"Onto the tracks?! Are you mad?" Alice asks as she follows to the end of the train station, still standing up on the cement protection. "What if the train is coming? I mean, right now?! And watch out for the third track! That's the power rail." She chimes, offering a hand to try to pull Pixie back up should she take it.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn shakes her head, "It's okay, I'm more worried about that fairy..,If there are gremlins down there she could be in trouble." instead, she offers her a hand to step down, "Dont worry, if things go crazy, I'll port you out instantly. Or you can stay here, looks like the next train isn't due for another 20 min.." she lints to the electronic sign hanging from the ceiling.

Blurr has posed:
Kids playing on the tracks, typical New York right? But it doesn't look like a train is coming for a while. Plus, they usually make a lot of noise, and it's almost eerily quiet right now. Now that they're down here though, there are a lot of tunnels branching off in every direction along the tracks. One could easily get lost down here!

Red has posed:
"Gremlins? Fairies? Comeon, Gremlins was a 1984 film!" Alice remarks before sighing, shaking her head but then getting down to the track, making sure to stay away from the electric rail. "You can teleport? Handy. Nobody's ever gonna catch you sneaking in or out after curfew."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn giggles and nods, "Don't tell anyone but that's exactly what I do!" she grins and winks, bringing a finger to her lips. And assuming Alice took the offered hand, she will proceed down the labyrinthine tunnels, peering this way and that, "Sure is a maze down here, fortunately I can just port us back to the station if we get too lost. Now where did that fairy go?"

Blurr has posed:
So far, so good! And if there was trouble, Megan can just teleport away right? The green shimmering thing rounds the corner of a distant tunnel that branches away from this one. Well not so distant that they can't see it, but just enough that there the light is barely visible. Still! It's unmistakeable, it was definitely there!

But do they dare go wandering down the tracks, where should a train come, there would be no platform to flee to...

Red has posed:
"Probably... down there?" Alice points at the direction they last spotted the green, speeding the feet. "Come on, off the used tracks please... I mean... those over there look rusty..."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods and smiles, "Heh, yea, those tracks look older, probably some old abandoned tunnel. " which means they should be relatively safe here right? She smiles, quickening her pace to catch up with the fairy, "Oh, you haven't met the real live gremlins yet? I mean they're really real, and they're trouble. They're after the fairies which is why we need to protect em.."

Blurr has posed:
When the two of them reach the intersection where the fairy seems to have gone, it does appear to be an abandoned set of tracks. There is a yellow barrier up, with the word 'CAUTION' on it, though it is one of those flimsy ones meant to deter and not actually prevent.

The light is nowhere to be seen, though this tunnel seems to be partially collapsed. No one has been down here for a long time, and there is a decidedly dank smell hanging in the air.

Red has posed:
Alice ruffles the nose at the smell, shaking the head. "Something crawls up here and died... comeon, we're missing your train..." she complaints, looking back to where they came from.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn shakes her head, "Just a little further...Cmon lil fairy, where are you?" she peeks at the caution sign and smirks, stepping right over it. "Heh, what could be so dangerous down here?" oh. Right, like collapsed tunnel rubble and, "Darn, where did she go?" she starts moving around rubble, searching through it fir the glowy green light, "Just a little further.."

Blurr has posed:
The farther Megan (and Alice if she chooses to follow) would venture into the abandoned subway tunnel, the harder the way would become. There's more and more debris everywhere, and it seems to get narrower and narrower. It also gets darker and darker as one would move father and farther away from the lit station. But hey, dark means it'll be easier to spot the glowing fairy...right?

Red has posed:
Alice says, "Are you SUUURE it was a fairy?" Alice complaints as she follows along, possibly long having lost the way back. She's not a navigator, tunnel rat or Vietcong after all. "What if it was a gremlin?!""

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn frowns, pausing, glancing around, her pace slowing down. It's dark here now, but her fairy wings continue to glow, giving off a distinct pink glittery light as she glances around. "Huh, I coulda sworn I saw it down here somewhere.." she frowns, glancing back the way they came. "I'm more worried about the fairy getting hurt. Gremlins? I can handle.." as long as there are not too many of em of course..But she is starting to get nervous..

Lockdown has posed:
The initial sound is a dead giveaway... even heard over trains themselves. It's the sound of a muscle car engine, and it's echoing down the tunnel in a manner that will likely deafen humans without protection. Honestly, Lockdown probably should have gone for an alt mode with a muffler, but popular media said these cars were high end... so muscle car it is.

It isn't long before a pair of headlights can be seen down the tunnel by Alice and Megan. Lockdown can see in this low light without a problem, of course... but organics might be deaf to the engine to get out of the way.

As it is, Lockdown is mostly sticking to his Cybertronian scanning vision, almost like a radar as he searches the subway tunnels in a grid.

The Legion means well for this planet... but Lockdown has no interest in giving them the chip if he can help it, if he can just find the Autobot without them.

Blurr has posed:
Right as the crazy sound of Lockdown barreling down the subway tunnel reverberates everywhere, maybe even shaking the walls and causing some dust to fall, Megan would catch sight of another glimmer of light through the piles of debris! For sure, it's just beyond this pile of tunnel wall in front of them. Plenty of spaces large enough to fit them, though!

Lockdown may have been searching the labyrinth of subway networks for a while, but he is getting close now. The scans are starting to show a stronger signal--it looks like Blurr may be hiding in an abandoned station not far away. He just has to find a tunnel that leads to it, that isn't collapsed in on itself. Fortunately, there's one a couple blocks away. It's a bit roundabout, but it'll get him there if the scans are right.

Red has posed:
"I really think we lost... hey, over there!" Alice notes, pointing to a hole in the area, to the green glitter, just before the engine starts to drown out everything. She looks back, straight into the headlights of Lockdown, her eyes straining aganst the harsh light.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, glancing around, "Heey what's that sound!?" she brings her hands to her ears, peering towards the headlights. "There's a car down here...The heck?" but then there's the glimmer of light down a crawl space and she focuses on that instead, "Probably some punks..Hope they're not after the fairy too...Cmon!" and she rushes through the crawlspace, after the light she saw there, "Cmon fairy, we don't wanna hurt you but we gotta hurry!"

Lockdown has posed:
The only 'punk' visible is the holomatter avatar in the drivers seat of the alt mode Lockdown is using.... and without too much hassle, moves to on sides, and *zooms* right up to the humans... before there's a sudden *SCREEEEECH* of tire on ground that kicks up gravel and other materials up in the general direction of Alice and Megan, and Lockdown heads down another tunnel.

Nowhere to run now, Autobot.

Blurr has posed:
When the two of them come through to the other side, they'd find themselves in an abandoned subway station. It's full of trash, debris, and crumbling building materials, even a decommissioned railcar. There are two ways in and out of this place. The half-collapsed tunnel they just came out of, and another tunnel opening on the other end...which is the one Lockdown is likely headed down to get to Blurr.

It's quite dark, but Pixie's wings do shed some light on the situation, in addition to the lights they just saw...which they would find are not actually from a fairy. In fact, they seem to be coming from a very sporty-looking car. Looks like one of those custom rigs that Tony Stark has, and it's sitting in a corner behind the defunct train.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn frowns, peering at the first car as it darts up to her and Alice, then dashed off elsewhere. "What the.." by this time Alice is growing nervous, and Megan doesn't want her to get hurt so she opens a portal and sends her back home, "Go tell the others!" and she turns back to that crawl space, stepping out in the other side, still searching fir that fairy..She's not expecting to come across another car though, "The heck is that doing down here? Is there anyone there?" she steps closer to the car, wondering if someone got lost..Or is it one of those punks?

Nightingale has posed:
When Alice came back to the school in something of a tizzy, it did not take long for Shannon to get enough information out of her to put two and two together. "Awww, SCRAP!" Yeah. She'd been picking up on some of Blurr's more colorful turns of phrase. Hey, it didn't sound like bad things to human ears, so it worked! She taps out a message to Sam Guthrie, advising him there's a situation and she's been called in to help--and for heaven's sake, to hide that item with the odd writing!

Thankfully, Alice is able to lead her back to the abandoned subway station. The angel-winged girl is in some sturdy jeans, a cream-colored turtleneck, and some sturdy but stylish brown boots As always, she has her little brown leather bag with her, with its first-aid supplies. Hopefully, those would not be needed for the organics in the area.

She spots Megan first and waves her over. "Hey! What the heck's going on? Alice was going on a little bit, what's your take on the situation? I've let Sam know where we are, in case we need more help."

Lockdown has posed:
Another few meters.... and then the muscle car 'jumps' as Lockdown suddenly transforms in midair, his arm mounted weapons already engaging as he aims an autocannon for the rooftop of the other exit. The explosive shells loaded into the chamber easily able to collapse that section easily as Lockdown tries to cut off any escape from Blurr, a seventeen foot two ton war black and purple war machine coming out of nowhere.

Blurr's main defense has been his speed... time to take it away. A metallic grinding sound can be heard throughout the station as Lockdown speaks, "I can keep this up for cycles, Blurr. Running isn't going to save you this time, Autobot."

Blurr has posed:
Right as Megan is approaching the car, she'd notice that the little green glimmer that had led her here is actually hovering around inside the vehicle. The sounds Lockdown's approach can be heard, and suddenly, the sports car is no longer a sports car, but it seems to unfold, thousands of moving parts shifting until Blurr is standing there. He stares down at Megan and Shannon. "The smelt are you guys doing down here?!"

But no time to even wait for an answer, as Lockdown has already cut off the tunnel Megan just came through. Well, not that he would've been able to use it without blasting his way through anyway. But now it's -really- cut off and -definitely- not an option right. The speedster glares at the bounty hunter, but also sizes up the opening he just came out of, since that's become his only means of escape. "You don't even know what you're after, do you? What if it's just a bunch of vintage alien romance novels for Blast Off or something?" The taunt was an attempt to distract him, as instead of waiting for a response, he just tries to zip around Lockdown's left flank and get out through the only way out!

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks as Shannon arrives, about to answer when both cars suddenly transform into giant Robots, one of whom blasts at the rocks above, sealing them in. She shivers, eyes widen suddenly nervous, "N-no, we have to get out, or they'll bury us alive! Shan....We..We have to go!" but she's suddenly scared and can't even consider porting. Then she spies the fairy and flies towards it, peering up at the robot guy, "Please let my friend go!"

Nightingale has posed:
"Whoah! SCRAAAP!" Shannon's just got enough time to duck out of the way of flying debris as Blurr's major escape route is cut off. Which means that, unless the pink-haired girl can calm down, /their/ escape is cut off as well! When the dust settles, she pokes her head out again, looking between Pixie and Blurr.

"Long and short of it, Blurr, Megan here sends Alice looking for help, Alice finds me, so here we are." Torn between calming Megan down, and standing by her Cybertronian friend, she has to think for a second. A panicked fairy girl was nothing to sneeze at.

"PIXIE! Take a few deep breaths, calm down, and get yourself out of here! I'll be fine, you get yourself out NOW!" Her tone to the slightly older girl brooked no opposition. Hopefully, it was understood--if unspoken--that also meant to go get help!

She glances between Blurr and Lockdown, wisely keeping her silence for the moment. The less that the bounty hunter knew that she knew, the better. If he had the skill, means, and wherewithal to track down Blurr this far, there was no telling just what he was capable of--and how far he would go to accomplish his objective.

Lockdown has posed:
Without responding, Lockdown's right hand suddenly transforms into a war sickle, and he brings it around as he tries to grab Blurr by the throat and force his momentum back, effectively clotheslining him.

"I have a contract to keep. If you want to tell me, I'm all ears, boy." Yes, Lockdown just called Blurr a child.

To be fair, Lockdown is positively *ancient* for a Cybertronian. He likely *is* far older, by the legends.

"I'm sure Optimus will be proud, if you manage to get back to him."

It's rather like looking at two customized sentinels... only these sentinels are far more durable and packing weapons designed over millions of years of war.

Blurr has posed:
Sentinels, yeah. That's what a lot of uneducated Terrans seem to think they are.

Blurr honestly doesn't have time to address Megan's begging. Otherwise he would have just given her a confused look. Because he has no idea that the little green fairy she had been chasing is now trapped inside of his passenger compartment. Alive and well, sure. But trapped.

Lockdown's sickle flies out and manages to catch Blurr around the neck as he is trying to dash past him. It pulls him back, but he twists around and fires his TechVolt at the bounty hunter's chassis again attempting to incapacitate him while he gets lost!

Hopefully if it hits, the massive war machine won't fall on top of Shannon or Megan...

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn turns and STARES at Shannon as she makes such a crazy suggestion, "What, are you kidding me?! As if I'm just gonna leave you here and let's not forget that I'm the senior here.." ok so she hasn't been on nearly as many crazy adventures as Shannon but it doesn't change the fact that Pixie is older and more experienced, "Besides I'm not leaving as long as my fairy friend is in trouble!" about it seems that the one named Blurr is Shannon'a friend and the other guy is his enemy. One good thing about her anger is that now she's more focused, "Alright then, we'll just have to make a new exit!" she flutters towards the caged in exit, focusing on the rubble as she opens a palm, focusing, "Sihal Novarum Chinoth!" And as a portal opens beneath the rubble, Another opens above lockdown, dumping a good amount of rocks aimed at his head, which may at least give a distraction and help out a Blurr a little..And likely tick offLockdown too!

Nightingale has posed:
"Oh for frak's sake, Megan... who cares who's the senior and who's not, these guys are playing for keeps!" Shannon rolls her eyes as the pink-haired pixie girl goes all stubborn on her--but at the same time, she can't help but smile a little bit. The two were really more alike than perhaps either one cared to admit. Well, at least her anger snapped her out of panic mode, so it was worth a little prick at one's pride.

She does spot what Megan's doing with the portal and then... facepalms. Really? Would that rubble be enough to slow down an ancient bounty hunter who was evidently as experienced as Lockdown? She frowns, thinking back to another mission she'd been on. One that, granted, had not ended well for her, but still, gave her an idea. Pulling Megan aside, she whispers something to her, and gets an evil little grin on her face. Oh, my, my. What were they up to?

Lockdown has posed:
"You're a one trick Sargoth, Autobot." Lockdown grinds out, a slight 'oof' as the TechVolt blast hits him square in the center chassis, sending electrical sparks everywhere around him.

Then, a massive stomp later to brace, and Lockdown tries to bring his sickle down and around to bring the tip down through the arm with that TechVolt in it.

Lockdown is going for a quick disable. "You like your stun cannons, don't you?"

Then, portals get opened up, and rubble is spat at him in the middle of the fighting. "STAY OUT OF THIS, ORGANICS!" The metallic grinding of Lockdowns voice shouts throughout the station, "ATTACK ME AT YOUR OWN PERIL!" Is stated as the sickle drives down.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks slowly, shaking her head at Shannon, "PhewI was getting cramped but look, light!" it seems the bots are locked in combat but the fairy is still trapped. "Okay here goes.."

She opens another portal, this time beneath Blurr as she pulls Shannon nearer, "Lets go!" and the three abruptly vanish, though given Blurr's massive size and her own anxiety, it's not that far, only some several hundred meters away and closer to the exit.

Unfortunately as they arrive elsewhere, a random chunk of rubble flies down, hitting Megan and knocking her unconscious.

Blurr has posed:
The sickle knocks the stun weapon off of Blurr's arm. It tumbles to the ground with a loud clatter, but in its place more standard-issue blasters emerge.

The Autobot smirks as a bunch of rubble suddenly falls out of a portal over Lockdown's head. Even if it doesn't do a ton of good, it's still funny as slag. "Eh, honestly I thought you'd prefer them over the alternative. But hey, sorry if I was wrong. If you'd much prefer I use -deadlier- ammunition, then I'd be happy to oblige!"

But before he can even open fire, -another- portal suddenly opens below him, and he falls right in! He panics for a moment, because what the slag?! But a moment later he finds himself right in front of the tunnel opening. The non-collapsed one, that is. Well that's convenient. He immediately takes advantage of this, transforming and diving right into it!

Nightingale has posed:
"What the f...!!!" Shannon had a few choice words in different languages as the trio of Megan, Blurr, and herself fell right through one of Megan's portals, only to appear a short distance away. Whew. And there was a tunnel they could escape into, to boot--with hopefully the light of -outside- at the end of it!

However, while Blurr makes his getaway, Megan is knocked down and out by some falling rubble, and Shannon is -not- about to leave her behind. "MEGAN!!" She darts over to the other girl's side, checking her over immediately for serious injury. Mercifully, there did not seem to be any, but damn, she didn't like moving someone who'd just been possibly knocked on the head unless she absolutely had to.

Unfortunately, this might be one of those times.

Hopefully Lockdown would be concentrating on taking off after Blurr long enough for Shannon to get an S.O.S. out to friends who could help her and Megan get home, and to medical care....

Lockdown has posed:
"These organics are seriously trying to anger me." Lockdown grinds, his arm mounts retracting back inward as he watches his target -YET AGAIN- escape with the help of this planets locals.

It's making him seriously reconsider his stance... which makes him wheel squarely on Shannon, being the only remaining human in attendance... and promptly popping out his autocannon mount and aiming right for her. "What in the slag just happened, organic." Lockdown growls out at her.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr was about to start speeding off down the tunnel, but then he realizes that Shannon and her friend had been teleported right along with him. And that her friend had gotten knocked out! Yes, he noticed, it just hadn't registered immediately.

Now, before he came here, he probably wouldn't have given two slags about Terrans who barely live a single vorn anyway. But, after that whole Vector Sigma journey, he'd somewhat changed his mind about them. The last thing he wants is them getting added to the -long- list of people who get their lives destroyed by Cybertronians. Or get killed or worse.

So instead of taking off this time, he turns right around and comes back with his weapons pointed right at the bounty hunter. "Lockdown!" he shouts. "Leave her the slag alone. She has nothing to do with this. It's -me- you want!"

Nightingale has posed:
While Shannon did go very, very pale as Lockdown pointed his autocannon right in her face, neither does she flinch or cower. Her wings might ruffle, even tremble a little bit, but she is not deterred from staying by Megan's side. "A portal just happened," she replied, her voice a lot calmer than she herself is inside right now. There is no sarcasm, no rancor to her voice. Just plain, blunt statement of fact.

But before she can say anything else, the familiar roar of Blurr's engines coming /back/ down the tunnel he'd just used as an exit causes her to let off a few zingers that would do an old soldier proud. "BLURR! You slagging NUT! Get out of here while you still can! PLEASE!"

Lockdown has posed:
"These creatures keep interfering with my hunt, and you're telling me they have nothing to do with this." Lockdown replies to Blurr, his voice carefully neutral, for an organic. "You care so much about these organics? Hand over the slagging chip, and I'll be on my way." Lockdown growls out, his autocannon still pointed at Shannon.

"Otherwise, she gets a couple high-explosive shells." Lockdown keeps a carefully eye on both Shannon and Blurr, "What's it gonna be?"

Yeah, Lockdown doesn't seem fazed at all by Blurr aiming guns at him. Yet.

Wolverine has posed:
"Well I vote for you t' drop your gun, bub or I?ll make sure you?re recycled into a talking commode." comes gruff a voice not far away. Once he can be seen. There stands a short man dressed in what can be described Lumberjack-chic, with a scowl on his face.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr stares at Lockdown, looking conflicted. "I didn't -tell- them to get involved!" he insists. "They just--I don't know, decided to anyway!" But he knows full well that the bounty hunter could easily destroy Shannon, even if he can blast him in the head there's no telling if it would actually take him out. Probably not fast enough, to tell the truth.

Then yet -another- Terran shows up. Really?! Do they -want- to get themselves killed? Of course, he has no idea how tough some Terrans actually are.

"Ughfine!" he finally exclaims, though he doesn't lower his weapons. "Step away from them, and I'll give it to you. You have my word."

Nightingale has posed:
It looked for a moment as if Shannon might have to make her peace with her Maker. She began to pray, thinking perhaps this would be the one that would send her into the next world. Somehow, even when one did things right, things could still go terribly wrong. Had amends been made to the ones she loved? Had she lived her life well, and given of it to others?

Just when it seemed it might all be over, there was a very familiar, very gruff voice she'd never been so glad to hear. Okay, sure, she was likely to get growled at later, but it didn't matter now.

The girls stood a fighting chance of getting out alive. That's what mattered the most right now.

A smile spread slowly across her face, and she spared a quick glance over at Logan. A glance that was quickly turned towards Blurr, and her jaw drops. "What the SLAG are you doing?!"

Lockdown has posed:
Truth be told, Blurr will likely heavily damage Lockdown firing this close... but Lockdown is -correctly it appears- assuming Blurr has an attachment to them.

"These humans have death wishes." Lockdown notes, grinding out the sentence matter of factly, glancing to Logan as if he was an annoying fly. Then, he glances back to Blurr, "Done. I have no reason to not trust you." Lockdown states, finally. His arm mounted autocannon retracts, the forearm mounted weapon disappearing, and Lockdown moves out of his battle stance, assuming more of a casual posture as his metallic feet slam down into the ground. "Drop it to the ground, and leave. I won't stop you."

Blurr has posed:
As soon as Lockdown puts away his weapons and steps away from Shannon and Megan, Blurr darts in front of them, putting himself between the Terrans and the bounty hunter. Lockdown may not have any reason not to trust Blurr, but the same can't be said for the other way around.

However, once that's done, he complies with Lockdown's request. A compartment in his hand opens up and he drops a cylindrical data slug to the floor. But he doesn't leave just yet.. No, he's making -sure- Shannon and her friends get out of here safely...

Wolverine has posed:
Logan just stands there, covered in dust, his brow raised in confusion. What the hell is going on? These girls are definitely getting confined to grounds for three months. Just for dragging him into this alone. Yeah sure he's seen stranger things. But Talkin-Rockem-Sockem robots? That's gotta be number eleven or ten on his weird shit list.

Nightingale has posed:
With the focus temporarily shifted to the showdown between Lockdown and Blurr, Shannon takes a moment to assess Megan's injuries. Muttering softly, she just shakes her head. "This is going to sting..." Gingerly, she touches the egg that seems to have developed on the back of Megan's head, where she was knocked out, and closes her eyes. There's a soft hiss, familiar to any who knew her but confusing to those who might not as... well, if either of the Cybertronians had sensors on her, they would perceive Megan's injury growing less--while Shannon seemed to actually be -absorbing- it into herself.

"Frak... I'm sleeping in tomorrow morning..."

Lockdown has posed:
Lockdown just stares at Blurr as he gets between him and the humans. Stares, and waits. A bounty hunter is only worth as much as his reputation, and he made a deal. He's sticking to it.

"Fine. Back away from the chip, and I'll simply take it and go." Lockdown offers. His sensors register the health status change, but Lockdown is focused on his former target right now.

Blurr has posed:
Blurr nods and steps back away from it, though he stays close to the Terrans. "Now get the frag out of here." he says impatiently. "And off this -planet-."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan watches as Robbi blocks off Johnny 5. This allows him to move over to the girls and kneel. "Right now all I?ll say is: You are both grounded." he says to Shannon as he see?s Megan is out cold. "And next, what the hell is going on? And explain it t' me in six words or less."

Nightingale has posed:
Grounded was fine. At least it meant the pair were alive. But seriously, six words or less? Shannon was going to have to think this one out. She knew more than she was letting on, but she couldn't let on -too- much, even to Logan. Not here, not now.

"Tell you when we get home."

Fingers crossed, she hoped he got the message. There was too much to be said, but it wasn't safe to say even a modicum of it here and now.

Lockdown has posed:
"Getting out of here." Lockdown picks up the chip, places it in a chest mounted storage 'pouch', and slowly begins to walk backward, into the tunnel.

"Off this planet? Don't act like you have any authority over me, Autobot. Not even Megatron tells me what to do." Lockdown warns Blurr, before he turns in place... and transforms into that muscle car again.

*VROOM* Lockdown goes to top speed and heads out, engine blaring as he does so.

Blurr has posed:
As soon as Lockdown is gone, Blurr turns around and crouches as low as he comfortably can, concern written on his mechanical face. "Shannon, you okay? Is your friend gonna be okay?" he asks urgently. "I-I told you not to get involved with this mess!" Air passes through his vent systems, making a sound akin to a sigh or something. "You could've been killed."

Wolverine has posed:
As the robot, wait no, the robot-car races off. This is just getting.. I so need a beer. Once its gone and makes sure the teens are stable, Logan stands and looks to the other robot. "Now wait a damn minute, Wall-E!" Logan points and yells at Blurr. "What the hell is the deal here? Who the hell is that? Why are MY kids hurt and *sniffsniff* and what the hell are you?" Sure as hell no Sentinal. "And talk quickly. I don' got time."

Nightingale has posed:
"Yeah I could've," Shannon admits. "But to be fair, my friend called me in about something completely unrelated to this that's been going on elsewhere. Finding this happening just as I got here? That was a bonus I'm not sure anyone wanted." She glances down at Megan and sighs with a bit of pain and relief. "She'll be fine. I'll just need some rest from healing her."

Glancing between Logan and Blurr, she frowns slightly. "Looks like this probably isn't waiting till we get home. Look, Blurr... what the hell is that chip, who is this Optimus, and what do they have to do with the chip?"

She glances over at Logan and gingerly rubs her temples. Oooo boy. She'd been on the receiving end of one of his rants before and it wasn't fun. "This is waaay above my pay grade... ugh...."

Blurr has posed:
Blurr is visibly relieved when Shannon tells him that they will both be fine. Phew. Then he looks to the man who had just randomly shown up.

Oooh, right. Not random, then, he realizes as Logan begins ranting. He must be their progenitor. Er, parent? Was that the word?

"What the smelt is a Wall-E?" Blurr asks, arching a brow at Logan. Then Shannon starts with the questions, too. "Ugh! Primus slag it all, I -told- you, I -can't- tell you. It's -classified.- Optimus is Prime. A Prime is--" he groans again. "Okay basically he is the commander-in-chief of the entire Autobot military, of which I am a part. I'm afraid that's the only question I can answer. As for what we are, I'll let Shannon explain that all to you--she can probably do a better job of it, anyway."

"And your offspring got hurt because they got themselves tangled up in galactic business that they really should be staying the frag -away- from." There's a hard look at Shannon with that. "Okay yes, some other issue might have brought you down here, but I'm pretty sure whoever pulled that teleporting thing pulled it on -me- specifically."

Wolverine has posed:
Offspring? Logan looks to the girls then back to Blurr. "Oh hell no. I mean my charges. As I am older than them, makes them my kids." he says to the robot. "And I don' think I could stop them. These two are hard headed." Harder then my bones.

Nightingale has posed:
"Not sure how much I can explain, as there's actually very little I've been -told-." Shannon sighs a little. "Blurr and the one that was after him, they're both Cybertronians. Homeworld, Cybertron. Not sure why they're here, but I do know that Blurr here's been more of a friend than some organics I've known over my life, well before ever coming to this area. Long story short, though, there's a war that's been going on for what I gather is millions of years, and whatever this whole thing going on right here and now is, has something to do with that. WHAT, I have no idea. SOMEONE called it 'classified'...."

A mildly good-humored look is given to Blurr, and she quips, "I believe Primus DID tell us to slag it all."

Blurr has posed:
"Oh," Blurr shrugs at Logan. "Sorry, I just assumed since you uh--never mind. But if they're in your charge, then you're probably more likely to have better luck trying to convince them not to do things to get themselves killed than me."

"What? No that wasn't Primus, that was Vector Sigma. Or, I don't know. Maybe they're one in the same, who knows? It's all legends and slag. Doesn't matter. Just stay out of this, okay? I can give you a ride home if you want, but otherwise I've got stuff to do."

Wolverine has posed:
Great it can turn into a car too. But he cant fit them on his bike, thats for sure. As he looks at the girls he sighs. "May as well give them a ride. Least you can do." Logan grumbles.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon just crosses her arms. "How badly do you want the real chip, Blurr? Because I'm not sure how long the one you gave that bounty hunter's gonna hold him off." Her eyes are starting to mist over as she realizes this is likely to be one of the last times she'll see one of her friends. Probably one of the better ones she has. Her wings begin to droop with defeat, a couple of the flight feathers fluttering to the ground....

Blurr has posed:
Blurr nods and transforms as Logan agrees to the ride, opening the doors for them.

But then what Shannon says causes him to freeze. What?!?! No...nononono -that- wasn't supposed to happen! "Wait--what?! -No-! I--I don't know what you're talking about! That -was- the real one. I couldn't let him just off you!" he insists. "Now get in and get home before you get into more trouble!"

Well he's gonna have to have some -conversations-. In private.

    Later.

At any rate, once they get in he's off to wherever they call home!

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon settles in for the ride back. It's a largely silent one, with the thrum of Blurr's engines all that breaks the silence. What a crazy road it had been, from first seeing that holographic avatar of his and having no idea what to make of it, to crazy times on another world, to tonight. And it seemed very likely to be the last she would see of someone she'd risked life and limb for, and come to cherish despite being from different worlds in a very literal sense.

What would happen now? Would he ever be back? Or was this ride home the last they would ever meet? A few tears trickled down her face as she gingerly touches the dashboard. "Please don't ever forget us," she whispered.

Who knew what the future would hold?

There was surely more here, however, than meets the eye....
