Dagger has posed:
He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death.

The news was lit up late last night about several members of the notorious Chickenhawk gang found unconscious, babbling about angels and demons. Two elderly mutants who were last seen in Mutant Town were amongst them as well, murdered in cold blood. The five gang bangers babbled on and on at the station as they confessed to their crimes, to their sins. That is the punishment one receives when they are transported through the ice cold dark of Cloak's powers.

But, the mission to cure this city of cancer and poison is one that never ends, and thus it brings Tandy to Josie's Bar, still hot on the trail of those who are stealing mutants off the streets and selling their organs on the black market. Specifically young ones. Children. They were able to get a tip from one of the gibbering men that the bar is a local hangout for the gang, and thus, more answers may be found.

The stunning blonde and angel of retribution is seated at the bar, dressed in a Knicks jacket, a simple t-shirt and a pair of ripped jeans. She is hunched over her tall glass of water, currently listening to the vibe around her as she waits for her prey to arrive.

"No, I don't want your number." She says cooly to a drunken man who is twenty years her senior lean up at the bar, smelling of cheap wine and cigars, who has been badgering her for the last five minutes.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor Creed is seated down at the far end of the bar from the door. The massive man has a full bottle of whiskey in front of him as well as a tumbler next to it. He is dressed in a long coat that hangs over the bar stool he is seated on. His long blonde hair is pulled back out of his face and tied into a loose tail behind his head. He glances up at the TV behind the bar at the news strory. He growls slightly, probably more to himself than anyone in particular, as the story continues. He picks up the bottle and pours another drink of the whiskey. He lifts his head slightly as he sniffs at the air which almost works better than actually turning his head to look around.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones slides in from outside, having snuck back from a cigarette out on the sidewalk and muttering to herself about the stupid laws. She's wearing her usual, a white t-shirt under a black leather jacket, jeans, boots with heels and studs. She's already in a foul mood (when is she not?) when she sees the guy harassing Tandy.

"You heard the girl, stank. Get your ass out of here before somebody breaks your wanking hand," she says, sitting down next to the other woman and signalling for a shot of whiskey, familiar enough here that two fingers is enough to show what she wants.

Ivory has posed:
The person entering the bar just as JJ takes a seat though is clearly not a local. No local would wear a white jacket with a cat embrodied onto the back. One that was kinda entangled in a yarnball. Yep, totally sticking out like a sore thumb as they walk to the bar to take a seat next to the other new arrivals, stretching the arms and then eying the offered drinks. "You have anything german? Those guys know how to make beer." they ask the keeper.

Dagger has posed:
The drunk man continues to give Tandy a wide, toothy grin on his face, licking his lips. "C'mon baby. Lemmie at least get you something stronger than that water. Maybe you and I can slip away and --- " The man pauses as Jessica Jones sits down and makes her remark, sizing her up for a brief moment. He hesitates, but there is something about her that screams 'maybe a Cop', and it causes him to shrug off. "Fine." He says as he lumbers off.

Glancing over her direction, the blonde brushes her hair back behind her ear. "Thank you. Nice to know that Hell's Kitchen still has some manners tucked away in the dark alleys." She has a Californian accent tucked away in her throat, and perhaps Victor can pick out the scent of vanilla from a recent bodywash.

Ivory definitely sticks out like a sore thumb, and even she spots her walking in, slowly sitting up a bit straighter as her blue eyes gives a casual sweep of the bar. Eyes of hungry, desperate men take notice as well, the same as they've been eyeing Tandy all night. Like pieces of meat to chew upon.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor glances down the bar at the little knot of noise that is forming around Tandy. He watches the exchange between Jessica and Drunk and chuckles slightly. Probably nicer than he would be, but then, he isn't here to try and pick a fight. Still, he can smell the men watching the little Vanilla blonde down at the bar. They definitely give off a stink of lust and perhaps a bit of anger. He turns on his stool so his back is towards the back of the bar now and he watches what is going on.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones takes in those hungry and desperate men. She's used to it, to a certain degree, but there almost seems to be something in the air tonight. Victor, of course, is intimidating in his own right for reasons far beyond those of the lesser men in the bar.

"Oh, I've got no manners whatsoever, I just have no patience for horny jackwads breathing down necks. Pack of chinless neckbeards who all think they're God's gift once they got a few beers in 'em. He's lucky I didn't sock him in that drooling mouth of his just on principle," she says. "But sure. You're welcome," she says, giving a cheers with her glass then tossing back a shot of Jack.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory on the other hand might smell a tad like a cat. A white persian to be exact. Probably they own one like the cat on the jacket. They stretch a little, maybe reveling in the looks... or they just don't care, because they chatter a little with the keeper before ordering a lager, even if that was, as they claimed an inferior beer. Were they really a boyish girl or a girlish boy? Very hard to tell with the scarf around the neck and the jacket padding away and distinguishing marks, and their voice? Pretty much inbetween the genders too. Could be a tomboy, could be a trap...

Dagger has posed:
"I just ignore them. If he would have put his hands on me though, I would have made his dentist very rich." Tandy says as she holds up her glass of water in salute, before she takes a sip. "He backed off you real fast though. You're a regular here. Confident. Tender knows your drink. You're a cop, or at least used to be one? Excessive force?" The blonde gives a casual glance down the bar, meeting Victor's eyes for a moment before she steers them away just as quick. She has iron balls, but he is terrifying. There is something about him.

Requesting another glass of water from the tender, she gives a pause in whatever she may have been about to say as her blue eyes lock in on a trio of dark skinned men wearing matching jackets and colors around their brow. She tracks them as they move towards a room in the back in which they knock and mumble some type of passphrase. In they go as the door opens quickly and closes just as fast.

One of her hands curl into a fist, leaking a bit of light between the knuckles for a brief moment before she tucks it into her pocket.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor chuckles as people meet his gaze and then quickly look away. He is used to that even if not everyone knows who he is. He watches Ivory for a moment, but then his attention is drawn to the trio heading into the back. He sits up a little taller on his stool. His eyes narrow, but he remains on the stool for now.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones shakes her head, "Never been a cop. PI, though," she admits. "Cops don't tend to like me much. And I do have a habit of using excessive force. I've paid for the front window in this place three times. Which ain't nothin' on a PI's salary," he says.

When she sees the light, she gives a coy nod and, then, casually, picks up one of the metal corkscrews on the other side of the bar and wraps her fingers around it until it straightens out entirely, displaying her strength in cunning fasion.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory listens for the moment, looking over to the others. The blonde, the grim, the PI, then the blonde again, then to the tiny wit of light from the pocket. A moment they seemed puzzled, then they chuckle, taking a sip of the beer, tapping the bar into Jessica's direction. "That a flashlight in the pocket?"

Dagger has posed:
The brows of Tandy raise upwards for a moment as she watches Jessica straighten the corkscrew out in her subtle manner. She gives a nod of her head in return. "I see. PI, huh? What do you know about the Chickenhawks?" She asks as she casually turns back to the bar, still feeling the weight of Victor's eyes upon her. Dangerous. Masculine. Terrifying.

Ivory's voice breaks her mind from trying to categorize the bruiser as she looks over, then glances down at her pocket. "Was my phone. Flash light app was on. Just killed it to save the battery." She says cooly. Every now and again she'll glance to the back of the bar, where the darkness lingers deep, almost as if she was expecting someone, something.

Sabretooth has posed:
That flash of power from Tandy has its own scent and Victor catches it. Seems like his simple out for a drink has landed him in something of a crossfire. For the time being, he will sit and watch much like a predator. He hasn't been around this long by underestimating the enemy. Still he shifts on his stool as if to get his bottle, but really he shifts so he can listen in on Tandy as he catches the word "Chickenhawks".

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones gives a low grunt in the back of her throat. "Scumbags, which is nothing new around here. But they've started escalating. Taking people. That's the word, anyway. No names, yet, but there aren't always. The people these kinds tend to disappear only have names in police reports or milk cartons," she sighs.

"You onto something about it?" she asks, curiosity piqued in spite of herself.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory says, "Oh, yea, dead batteries are super annoying..." Ivory notes at the answer from Tandy, shrugging, then leaning onto the bar to take another swig from her beer. Ugh... depressing stuff they talk about...

"Either of you saw that cat video? The one where the kitten rides the turtle that rides the roomba chasing the dog?" At least they could try to lighten the mood..."

Dagger has posed:
As she nods her head, Tandy continues to keep her eyes tracked to the door. She shifts her jaw a bit, then says in a cold rattle in her voice. "They have been kidnapping mutant children and selling them to a high roller." She says as she blows some blonde away from her face. "And the cops don't care because they don't think mutant lives are the same as anyone else's, so children go missing from the street. Children."

Pushing herself up to her feet, she looks ready to make her way to the door in the back, that is until Ivory's voice stops her, reeling her back in a bit. "The what? A cat video? No.. I .. I don't have .. a computer." She looks torn. Her entire body is screaming that she is ready for war, though her eyes are conflicted. Victor can probably smell the rage oozing off of her. The type of scent a soldier has right before the bombs drop. Adrenaline.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor growls as he hears about the kidnapping. He isn't a good person, but he hates attacking the weak because you are strong. Fair Fight? He will gut you without a worry. Hungry? Yeah, same thing. In his way, okay sure. Doesn't sound like these kids were any of those. Plus, he still remembers being chained in a basement by his father so old wounds and all. He gets up off the stool and shrugs off the coat. He turns towards the back door and begins to head towards it as if he is about to kick it down.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones doesn't have Victor's super-senses, but she's already getting some of the sense that the intense girl might be a little bit of a loonytoon in her own right. Which doesn't mean she didn't have the whiff of the real deal. Hell, maybe it was easier to pick up those wavelengths if you were a little bit messed up. Probably why Jessica always found the victims in the world. Like recognizes like.

"High roller, huh? Any hints as to who that is? Easiest way to get kids off the market is to take care of the people doing the buying. No profit in it and it ain't worth the trouble. Still, any lead is a good one. Maybe we could dangle a few scumbags off a rooftop or two and see what shakes out."

She looks very flatly at Ivory, "I'm a dog person."

Ivory has posed:
Ivory shakes their head some, searching for their own phone "Comeon, Youtube's everywhere these days..." they say, tapping onto the screen two or three moments, the screensaver in the shape of several jackets just like the one they wear disappearing before the app starts and they ruffle the videos. "One moment... uh.... where is it..."

Either they blatently ignore the shifting tension or they don't notice. Because they are not cold ass like some of those that Victor had worked with in his past. But then the video starts blaring from the small speakers while the the tiny screen had an adorkable stack of critters on a cleaning robot. And the video was loud enough to mask at least a few words uttered by the designer. "Guy left of the Dartboard?"

Dagger has posed:
"I was hoping tonight that we could find out." We? Not just her? Before Tandy can say anything else, the large form of Victor is seen heading for the back door. ".. Shit. He probably overheard us." Though he doesn't look like the Chickenhawk type. More of a wolf jacked up on steroids type. "Is he with them? He's not wearing their colors."

The lean shoulders of Tandy gives a slow roll and a crack as her eyes stare intently at the large man and his destination. She gives another glance to Ivory, then says, "Hey, you should probably.. take off. I think it's about to get .. intense in here." And yet, this blue eyed all American girl is staying behind? She must be a looney.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor walks up to the backroom door. One booted foot hits just below the door knob. There is a crack of wood as the door breaks away from the hinges and falls into the room. "Hiya, boys." Anyone watching Victor now will see the claws on his fingers extend just slightly. "Heard you like to take mutants off the street. I've come to volunteer." His voice is a deep growl and snarl as the dust flies up around him.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones hits one more quick shot of whiskey before things get too rough, pushing up away from the bar. "I don't think the big guy's with them, somehow," she says.

"You heard the lady, clear out, quick. This place is about to get torn up!" she can tell already, "For the record, not my fault!"

Ivory has posed:
Ivory seems to shrug a moment, the cellphone ending on their pocket just as the door goes up in splinters. "Oh, is it?" they ask, fingers forming a fist, the eyes closing a moment or two. When they open, something is different. The pupils had turned slots, the fingers became claws, not unlike Victors, but shorter, not as sharp. And most certainly cat style.

Dagger has posed:
The lookout near the dartboard watch Victor heading for the door. "Hey man, you can't fucking go in the---" As the door goes flying inwards, shattering on old wooden splinters, a back room is revealed with five young men in their colors and Chickenhawk jackets. Three tables are set up with bricks of coke, stacks of cash and weapons. There is another door that is made of steel with a large bar across it with a padlock. No window.

"Who the fuck are you?" One of the men calls out as he grabs his shotgun off the table, followed by a loud click-clack. "Look at him, he's one of them! KILL HIM!" There is a scramble in the room as the hoodlums look to grab their weapons. The sight of the scary beast pushes them to move quickly.

Pushing off her feet, Tandy is moving forward as she shrugs out of her jacket, leaving it on the ground behind her. A pair of glowing blades forms in her hands, blindingly bright and searing with the heat of a tiny sun. She spares a quick glance to Victor, then simply says,

"I only need one of them alive."

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor strides into the room, not really even caring about the shotgun or the weapons being aimed at him. "Welcome to try," he says with a nod to the man who screams out KILL HIM. Large clawed hands grab at the table nearest to him and he flips it like a fast food tray. Bricks of cocaine go flying to crash against the wall in a white cloud. As the table flies, claws flash and the Chickenhawk nearst Victor has four deep slashes across his chest. "Time to see if you taste like chicken."

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones winces. Not that she has any sympathy for the gang, but bloodbaths are a mess and a bloodbath with her involved isn't good for her licensing. Still, these guys definitely deserve what they're about to get.

"Preferably still able to talk, too, unless you think they've got the kids stored in doggy bags under the table," she mutters. One of the 'hawks tries to sneak past and ends up taking a hard clothesline from Jess that sends him flying into the wall.

Ivory has posed:
Ivory seems to wait for them to come. The cat was lingering beneath the surface, waiting for its moment to strike, barely contained... glinting in their eyes.

Dagger has posed:
"Preferably." Tandy concurs with Jessica as she raises her hands upwards. "But for now, prepare to be blinded by the light! Know your truth!" A wash of stunning light streams through the room, causing the gunmen to cover their faces as if they were stunned, giving Victor all the room he needs to tear the chest open of the man with the shotgun. As he drops in a bloody pile with his weapon clattering, his companion receives a blade to the chest as it whistles through the air.

As one is clotheslined and another sneaks out past, he runs blindly towards Ivory, clawing at his face and screaming. Cowards. All of them. "Help! Someone help!" The bar tender has by now ducked under the bar, quickly trying to find the nerve to dial three simple numbers: 9-1-1. Some of the local cops are on the gang's payroll. This is what they're paid to do. Protect the gang's business.

"Looks like there's only one of you left." Tandy says as she crosses the room to a skinny kid no more than sixteen cowering in the corner of the coke soaked room.

"P..P... lease.. please don't kill me." His shaky voice whimpers out.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor lifts his bloody clawed hand and looks at the kid as Tandy approaches him. He smiles and his fangs shine in the light. "I'm still hungry," he growls without empathy in his eyes. "Was I wrong? You guys like to take out mutants, right? Well, I am one. Thought you could use me." He doesn't move toward the kid, however, letting Tandy try to get some information out of him.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones straightens up her jacket, "Alright, Hannibal Lecter, we get it. If you lick that claw, though, I am going to throw up before I punch you in the mouth," she says, pushing dark hair out of her face as she lets Tandy do her interrogation thing. This whole thing is just a big old mess, but it'll be worth it if they can find the missing kids. Still, teaming up with psychos never lead to anything good, in her experience.

Ivory has posed:
Blindly running into a cat is a BAD idea. Especially if the cat in question is ready to pounce, and even moreso if the cat is at the helm of a humanoid with the same armament as a cat, just a little bigger. A hand reaches for one of the arms of the man, the claws digging through the fabric to induce a spin as the white haired one yanks the guy back. Then next moment the other hand forms a fist to slam forward into the area of his sides, quickly followed by the hand that made contact first to swipe over the back again in an attempt to get him to face the bar, opening him up for a kick into the back of the knee. Some say cats are cruel. But in fact, people that say that simply don't understand how cats fight. Why should you wet your whole body in the blood of an enemy when you can preserve your own skin with a hundred stings?!

Dagger has posed:
"So is my partner." Tandy says simply to Victor in regard to his hunger. Something she knows very well about. If only Cloak was here now, he would feast upon their light and drive them to madness. It's nothing short of what they deserve for the pain they bring upon this city.

"P.. please.. oh God.. oh God.. " The young man who cowers begs and pleads as tears leak down his face. The scent of fresh urine is in the air as his pants leak down one leg and into his shoe.

As Dagger approaches, she spins one light blade about in her hands as she kneels in front of him, dragging the tip of it beneath his chin to jerk his head upwards. "Who is your employer? Tell me now before you become his meal." She says as she jerks a thumb towards Victor.

There is a loud, wet snuff from the kid as he stares into the beautiful blue eyes of the angel in front of him. "I.. I swear.. I don't know her name.. th.. they make us take the kids to a warehouse.. Pier seventeen. They.. they got masks.. they wear suits and ties.. we never see their faces.. I.. I don't know their names! I swear. I'm just a look out.. my brother.. you killed my brother..."

"And you have killed sons, daughters.. brothers and sisters." Tandy growls back as she pulls her hand back, clutching the blade tightly in her hand as the light leaks out, then slams it forward, slicing it through the padlock that dangles above his head, causing it to clank upon the ground.

From outside the bar, Ivory is dishing out sweet, feline justice to the young Chickenhawk who tried to flee. As he is whipped about and kicked, he screams in pain as his flesh is torn, his head bouncing off the bar with a wet, sickening crack.

Sabretooth has posed:
Victor gives Jessica a grunt that could perhaps be a chuckle. "Pier 17," he says looking down at the kid. He remains quiet for a moment and then turns back towards the original door. "Thanks for the party, ladies." He heads out running his clawed hand against the wall, tearing at the drywall. As he is walking out the door, he walks by the Drunk that had been nearly pawing at Tandy earlier. WIthout saying a word, a large hand comes out and slams the man's face down into the table breaking his nose. "And you, I just don't like." He pushes out the door and into the night.

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones watches the big monstrous man stalk out and can't help but breathe a little sigh of relief. Still, the stunt with the lech getting his face broken can't help but make her laugh and she moves to standing behind Tandy and looking intimidating and crap, with her arms crossed over her chest.

She hears the noise of Ivory taking apart the other fleeing guy, "Man, these guys picked a lousy place to have their meeting."

Ivory has posed:
Ivory ends up probably breakign the poor guys jaw double as his head ricochets off the bar and throws him to the back, wimpering in pain as the young man with the cat eyes - his scarf was dislodged in the short fight revealing the neck - starts to drag the guy at the shirt to Tandy and Jessica. "You lost one!"

Dagger has posed:
"It also means that they won't come back here, which will make the trail cold again if this information doesn't pan out." Dagger rises up to her feet, then flings a blade of light down into the man's chest, causing him to cry out before he stiffens visibly and rocks to the side. He starts to drool, his eyes wide, pupils dialated as he twitches and spasms. "You feel that? My light is burning the poison out of your veins that you inject into your body. It is the fire that cleanses your soul. I am giving you a second chance at life. A chance to be something better."

With Victor gone, she can feel the thick air grow a bit lighter. Though she may have her gameface on at the moment, it doesn't mean she wasn't nervous of the large man. Without Cloak at her side, she always feels as if she is at a disadvantage in a fight. She reaches for the steel door, jerking it open to reveal a trio of young mutants who are tied and gagged, looking terrified as the light of the room washes into the darkness, revealing their battered faces.

Gritting her teeth, she chokes back a sob in her throat as she falls forward on to her knees, washing them with her beautiful light to try and soothe them of their pain. "I'm so sorry." She weeps out, her voice cracking as her eyes moisten. "This won't ever happen again. I swear it."

As she looks over to Jessica now, she says, "Can you take care of them? I have to go."

As she looks past the door to Ivory, she looks surprised at the cat's features, but she gives a nod of thanks in return. "The police are on their way."

Jessica Jones has posed:
Jessica Jones looks at the kids for a long moment and then nods to Tandy, "Yeah. I got 'em," she says. She might not like dealing with the cops, but she could stay for the kids at least. The system, in some ways, could be just as bad as the streets and they'd need someone like Jessica to keep tabs on them to make sure they didn't get swallowed up in the machine. Especially because they were mutant kids.

She lights a cigarette in defiance of the law, "Good job," she says, making a fingergun motion at Ivory, "If you wanna bail, too, go for it. I can handle the fuzz," she says, reaching across the bar and grabbing the whiskey by the neck to pour herself another drink. Before Tandy leaves, Jessica will make sure the avenging woman gets one of her cards.

Ivory has posed:
After dropping her poor lad off with Jessica, Icory similarily leaves. No need to get the police involved. No need to get questioned and get the target of publicity of the bad type when you are a small brand that is all for blending gender lines...

Dagger has posed:
Taking the card from Jessica, Tandy stares at her for a long moment, then says, "We will find you." She says assuredly, then steps towards the darkest part of the room as the shadows begin to swirl and grow thicker, colder. So cold that one's breath can be seen on the air, frosting about their lips. A pair of inky, shadowy arms stretches out from the corner of the room, as if seeking her out.

"Hello, friend." She says to the darkness as she steps into inky embrace, letting her light become cooled by the darkness. "I got the information we needed. We can't wait any longer. Tonight." With that, the darkness pulls back quickly, swallowing the angel and disappearing, leaving Jessica behind with the kids.
