Homies just kicking it in a spaceship
Date of Scene: 18 April 2020
Location: Ship's Mess - Legion Cruiser
Synopsis: Alex and Drake catch up
Cast of Characters: Slipstream, Zero-G

Slipstream has posed:
There has been a lot of excitement recently amongst the Legionnaires. Superman was back! Not that the team from the 31st century didn't already know that was going to happen, but it was news for the young Earth born Drake Winters who isn't from the 31st. Sadly, his team didn't drop any spoiler alerts either.

Now it's downtime for the team and he is currently in the mess hall, working through the fridge. "Yo, we got space hot pockets! Do you think Lazarx meat tastes like chicken or hamburger?" He calls out to his friend with a grin on his face.

Zero-G has posed:
"Um, I wanna say chicken, but they aren't really meant for my earthly tastebuds," Alex responds, drawing a hand to his face and brushing at the scars on his cheek. He's been on a leave from the team, juggling heroics on the surface //and// babysitting his younger sister. "Are you, like, the on-board chef now? Would that be a promotion from morale officer?" He says, smile teasing.

Slipstream has posed:
"Pfff. No way am I the chef. I'd set this place on fire with a cup of water. I'm still trying to figure out the microwave that also washes our clothes." Drake teases as he puts the box of 'hot pockets' back, and instead grabs a box of pizza from the fridge. "Imra ordered a ton of Earth food the other day to try and learn more about our culture. By the way, she loves The Bachelor." He opens the box and takes out a few slices to put on plates and to warm them in the oven. "I'm glad you're back up here with us. Man, I've missed you."

Zero-G has posed:
Alex snorts and heads to the fridge as well, snatching a hydro flask with black gravitons just as the door shuts. "Wait, is that a thing?" Who actually knows on a spaceship like this? "Pizza and the Bachelor are more characteristic of American culture," the blonde points out sensibly. Smile turning warm, he snakes an arm around Drake's waist and squeezes. "Thanks. How have things been?"

Slipstream has posed:
Leaning into him, Drake returns the half hug in return. "Not bad. Brin and I went with Supergirl to rescue Superman who was thought dead. We got to beat the crap out of the Suicide Squad. I took out Deadshot and Bronze Tiger. Shoulda seen me pull up with a sniper rifle. I was pretty badass." He says with pride in his voice. "But, yeah, what a crazy night! We were on the news and interviewed by Lois Lane. It was so awesome. I wish you were there. We coulda used you."

Zero-G has posed:
"Sorry," Alex looks a touch rueful. "It sounds like you handled yourself well, though. Suicide Squad is no joke, and you're probably going to be punching above your weight with anything involving Superman." He brings the bottle to lips and takes a light sip, watching Drake still. Some pride in his eyes. "What about personal life? I know it can't be hard to separate the two worlds," Figurative worlds, not literal. An important distinction. "but mom says it's important to make the effort."

Slipstream has posed:
"Personal life? I don't really have one, man. Chasing robots that can turn into cars, helping out on quick missions here and there that Lar throws us at. Superman stuff. Really the most I get is watching TV and playing video games in my room here. I could visit Earth more often I guess." Drake says as he gives him a grin. "But, I dunno, it's kinda boring now. But going down to Earth to hang out with you is kinda worth it. So how about this weekend we just bro out and do something around California?"
