Date of Scene: 29 April 2020
Location: Club Mjolnir, Hell's Kitchen
Synopsis: Elle gets to meet the first openly Jewish patron of the club.
Cast of Characters: Hela, Shadowcat

Hela has posed:
'Miracle Elle' as she's famously been dubbed by the media, is present in her Club Mjolnir today, overseeing the operation, and that all is executed in a timely manner. But with everything being quite routine for the staff by now, she's left with enough time to wander the great hall itself, looking about the different patrons, taking some selfies with some and providing the rare signature request for others.

Shadowcat has posed:
Kitty's being both productive and, and, and yes....a responsible adult. Who knew?

Well besides Kitty, who strolls inn in her summer attire and relaxes looking around the club. "See. I'll just take a break from shopping" Kittty says and plants herself at a table with a smile, her pendant clearly visible as Kitty just...well....takes in the club with an awed expression.

See. That. That, I like" Kitty offers with a smile, looking around then eyeing the Mjolnir thoughtfully. She's Lockheed-less today though. Which is a good thing. He was all what. You get out of a warm bed?

Kitty's in no doubt she'll come back to a ruined bedcover

Hela has posed:
"Are you a religious woman...?" comes a voice from the left side of Kitty, as Elle happened to turn and look in the direction of the newcomer, no doubt having caught a glimpse of her pendant, as she begins approaching Kitty. It's the first time she's seen her set foot in her club, and so took some interest. One never knows what the cat drags in.

Shadowcat has posed:
"Indeed I am" Kitty nods. "I'm Jewish actually" she explains with a smile, "I'm not going to Hell for eating here am I?"

Oh, Kitty knows a thing or two. Or five. About Hell. Mostly from the Torah, but she knows way more about limbo. Thanks, Illy...

Looking over, Kitty smiles. "Miracle Elle" she nods. "I'm not sure I want a photograph right now when I've got my shopping hanging off my scooter outside" she says rolling up her skullcap and pocketing it. Yay for folding up her scooter gear. Goggles? Those hang off the handlebars, too.

Hela has posed:
"Jewish...interesting, I hope you are one who can appreciate the religions of others," Elle comments quietly, having had run ins with adamant people of faith who was more than a little over-zealous. "This place is meant to revere an altogether different kind of faith. Although to some, it may just seem a cultural thing, which is also acceptable. Point being, all are welcome, who can respect that is different."

Elle smirks at the question, "I would imagine that was an attempt at levity? I doubt any would ever go to any Hell of any sorts, just for eating at one place or other." She then crosses her arms, pondering, before quipping, "though I imagine being disrespectful while eating at a temple or shrine dedicated to one god or other, may, indeed, lead to such an outcome..."

Elle laughs at the dismissal of a photograph not offered, "fret not, I only do this as a favor for patrons who ask, I am rather displeased with mindless fame. All I did is save hundreds of thousands, while the toll was in the billions." Elle nods at the mention of the shopping on the scooter, "lucky for you, despite the reputation of Hell's Kitchen, the area about Club Mjolnir carries very high security. You can rest, eat and drink safely."

Shadowcat has posed:
"I'm not closed minded and judgemental, I respect what people believe" Kitty muses. "Though I'm afraid to eat near a shrine forr that reason, but there's people of all faiths who are closed minded and skittish on that. Looking at the Catholic Church" Kitty observes. "I rode past the great cathedrals here and got to thinking"

"Though do you do kosher food?"Kitty nods and looks thoughtful as the subject of respecting faith is mentioned.

"See. That's the thing. Respect is a two way street" she nods and smirks. "Only a few billion, only save the world. No big deal right?" Kitty laughs with a knowing smile.

Hela has posed:
"That is a very fine quality, your name...?" Elle asks whilst extending her hand towards Kitty, "Elle."

Elle smiles at the mention of close minded people being of all faith, as she adds, "as there those of no faith at all. Just a human condition really, most are subpar, wouldn't you say? A real downgrade through the many generations."

"Kosher...? Explain that one to me," Elle apparently has no knowledge of this particular dietary restriction. "Some people deserve a saving more than others, some deserve it less, just an element of nature."

Shadowcat has posed:
"Indeed" Kitty offers with a smile. "I'm Kitty. No. I don't freaking meow" she giggles looking amused then shakes her head, explaining what kosher is.

Looking over the hall, Kitty grins and nods to Ella.

Hela has posed:
"Pleased to meet you, Kitty, that's an unusual name...your parents had a particular affinity for cats?" Elle muses, used to much more inspiring names, usually based in myth, particularly of Norse origin. When Kitty describes the peculiarities of kosher eating, Elle looks a bit preplexed. "Why is this costum observed, pray tell?"

Shadowcat has posed:
"Why are most religious customs observed?" Kitty muses, looking amused. "Actualy, Kathrine is my name" Kitty shrugs. "Kitty's just what I go by" she smiles, "lle's an interesting name though, so..." Kitty observes with a wry smile. "So what're you up to anyhow?"
