Coyote Club Capers

Synopsis:	Mercy runs away from the nasty people with nets and into Detective Chimp and help

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy's not a normal coyote. How and why else would she be running away from the nasty Animal Control guys with the nets and the catch poles and the van, and putting distance on them, then? She's leaving them in her wake as she's running through Sunnydale, a brown blur that all but yells hey, outta the way, angry coyote coming through...Mercy's been running away from Animal Control for the past 20 minutes. Ever since they shoved her in a vann and left the doors closed but unlocked, and Mercy took that to be her run away cue...they've been out to recapture Mercy. And she's been running ringgs around em.

Take now for instance/ She's hiding in an alley while they are running past it and looking far past where the 'yote's picked to hide. Oh sure she's easy to spot if anyone cares to look around the corner of the building, she's clearly visible, but...nah. Those poor animal catchers. Not the smarest bunch of folks. So, once they've run past, Mercy tests the waters by sticking a paw out then slinking out of the alley. Hey, look, a coyote!

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp comes around the corner down the street a bit and steps out in front of the Animal control people. They see something furry and a net is dropped over the Chimp. His cigar starts to burn a hole in the net, as he looks at the guys with a cold deadpan look "You have got to be kidding me." He reaches down and starts to lift the net up and off him. Animal control goon tries to keep it down, is a wild chimp after all. The good detective sighs and uses a bit more strength, chimps are stronger than most humans after all. "Get this damn thing off me.." He says and goon #2 looks to goon #1 "Hey Phil, he talks."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks to the net and shakes her head, tail still as she watches quietly. Ears flattened back, Mercy looks like an annoyed dog. Which true, she is, canine though as Mercy's watching all this.

Okay, points for the cigar and lifting the net. Mercy has her own way of dealing with those goons. She looks over to the goons again as she's working out a nice plan to put the net over the goons. Well, at least, that's the plan anyhow. Karma

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp lifts the net off, and over to the side. His cigar grips between his teeth as he looks tot he two Animals services goond "Ok, I am going to talk slow so you can understand. "Yes,.. I.. Am..a Chimp.. I also wear clothes... talk and probably make better time with the ladies than you...." He frowns at them a bit more as Phil considers trying to net him again "I will put that net handle, where the sun has never seen you try that again."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
That gets a tail wag from Mercy and she trots over a few steps forward again. A chimp that can sass people who put animals in nets and cages. Hey. Mercy's smart but...she can't talk on four paws and she's doing semaphore with her ears.and both front paws. Something something C something something R something something A something something P. Or thereabouts. Though it mostly looks like she's imitating those folks at the airport with the paddles that direct planes. She's yipping and snarling, to those who can understand she's swearing at the animal control goons with the same hatred she has for aftermarket parts held on by clips and rusty screws.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp will notice the Coyote a brow raised but he will take the cigar out and start using it to exaggerate his point. thrusting it at the guys, not hitting them with it but backing them up trying to get them tripping over their own heels and on their asses. "I have to pay taxes (does he though?), and have a business, first the Daily Mistake prints my ad as Detective Chump, and now your trying to net me, why I oughtta...." He says like the classic old movies. He turns around away from them, and then turns back screaming at them like a normal chimp, and as they crawl to run, he will sigh "Savages, only speak one language."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy yips and growls and yowls. As if saying shut up, you're making my head hurt. Can't you tell them off quietly?

Which is true, her head's hurting as Mercy lowers her nose and takes a breath, scratching at the ground, scratch scratch, she gives Chimp a look thenthrows her head back and releases a full on howl. As if wanting any wild coyotes to come see what's going on

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp watches as Goon one considers heading to the howl, but complains "They don't pay us enough for this stuff." And he is running away from the scene, as Chimp looks over to the coyote. "And it was you they were looking to catch?" His brow raises a bit at the collar and says "If your gonna wear a collar you should get a licenses as well."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy holds up a paw as if saying hang on a moment.....and books it for an alley, coming back clothed, on two legs and not a coyote, in her human form. She looks serious.

"Yeah it's me they were after. I kind of broke out of their van and ran off after they captured me. Good idea with the cigar and net" Mercy grins. "I may have let out the other dogs and cats and things. You want to help me return them to their owners?" Mercy offers. Good deeds and all that good stuff.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks to her and says "Was not so much an idea, as their dumb asses trying to net a smoking chimp." He does not seem to phased a bit by the woman's change "Sure sure, might as well do something for free and be the good samaritan, they don't call me Detective Chump for no reason." He mutters under his breath about the Daily Planet.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"I heard that" Mercy offers with a grin. "Okay so where do we start?" she asks with a look over to Chimp. "I'mm not wanting to round up a few dogs and some cats" she says with a look to Chimp.

Detective Chimp has posed:
Detective Chimp looks over, and says "Well you said they had some in the truck, or did you let all them out when you got out yourself also?"
