Synopsis: The X-men and friends confront the Goblin Prince once and for all!
Cast of Characters: Pixie, Nightingale, Morgana le Fay, Phoenix, Cyclops, Superboy, Wolverine

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn had a very good reason for choosing to meet out here, at the the cliff top on the very hiking trail where she had been attacked a few weeks ago. And it was nothing to do with any 'happy memories' she had acquired out here.

Quite the opposite actually. Quite simply, she knew if things went wrong, if the spell backfired, if goblins started piling out from this end before they stepped through, at least they could keep damage to a minimum. But hopefully things would unfold much differently.

It is one of the reasons she had risen earlier than the others and climbed to the cliff top to train all morning with Morgana, the (other) Faerie Queen who, in the absence of Strange, was her best bet at getting this spell just right. As Jean had mentioned, it would do no good if they landed right on top of the Goblin Prince.

So she had meditated, cleared her mind and practiced to refine her teleportation spell, linking it with her connection to her soul dagger so that when she was ready to teleport everyone, she could teleport them close enough to ambush the gremlins without landing right in the thick of another gremlin army.

It took some practice, but she's now ready, looking quiet, calm relaxed as she waits for her team mates to join her in this epic journey into the unknown..

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon was /pissed/. You don't mess around with her friends and teammates without ruffling an angel's feathers. Her expression was a black scowl that was not usually present, brows furrowed and not one hint of her normal smile. She was in her black and yellow 'bumblebees', which was to say a close-fitting bodysuit of black, with the brilliant yellow X across her chest and hips, tucked into boots of the same sunny hue, and as always carried her brown leather first aid bag with her. She has all of her hair--blue braid and all--pulled back into a bun at the back of her head.

And for once, she is armed, bearing her bo staff of yew wood. It might not have magic, but she would rather have it and not need it, than to get caught with her britches down.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana's on a (magic) war horse. it's an elemental steed of pure dark magic. Because what else would she ride, really? She's got her golden armor on and a sword in hand. She's ready for war. Apparently, she's going up to bat for Pixie.

Which is all a a part of Morgana'a's plan. She wants to help Pixie to further her own goals, but right now? She's on Pixie's side. Which, let's be fair, is stacking the deck only /slightly/ given what the goblin prince has done.

Phoenix has posed:
With one of their own at risk and others going off to help, Jean would be remiss at not getting involved. She'd never forgive herself if harm came to them. She's dressed in one of her uniforms, black with a faintly blue metallic sheen, textured like carbon fiber with the golden X symbol branded across her check. She's got her hair loose even going into a likely battle and doesn't look to be carrying weapons unless there's something small in the tactical belt she's got on. Her knee-high boots crunch loosely on the path as she approaches the gathering warband. The woman's face is drawn tight and serious as she looks to those already present, lingering a bit longer on Morgana.

"Megan, prepwork going okay? Anything else we need to know going into this?"

Cyclops has posed:
Along with Jean is Scott Summers. He traded his buttondown shirt and khakis for his own blue and gold uniform, complete with his facemask and visor along with a tactical belt and one across his chest. When it comes to dangerous situations, he plans on being at the forefront and to lead if necessary. He takes in the sight of those gathered, frowning a bit into a stoic, pensive manner. Jean asks the important question, so he waits for an answer.

Superboy has posed:
Conner came early to see Megan, although since the girl was meditating, he just had to sit down... no, actually he has been paced, because he is bored. He also didn't find any flaw in the 'teleport on top of the Goblin Prince' idea. Which is why no one asks him to make plans.

For those who didn't know yet who he was, now it is obvious. He is wearing read pants, black boots, and a black t-shirt with a big red S under his leather jacket. Because going to a fight in civvies goes against the super-hero code. Not that the gremlins are likely to know what the emblem of the House of El means.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn didn't arrive in any sort of official uniform, she's just wearing a black flared dress, yellow belt at the hip, yellow knee length boots and yellow biker shorts underneath un. Sure it hints at a uniform but with non-Xmen around, she didn't want to raise any brows. She had hoped for a larger team to go up against an army of gremlins but with luck they won't run into too much trouble. Heck, maybe they'll even get to sneak in and out, steal the weapon with none the wiser..

Oh yeah, and some Pixies have stepped out if the woodwork, determined to return home. Among them are some familiar faces, Lyra and Marina among others. Lyra smiles and flutters towards Shannon, admiring her wooden staff but mostly staying out of the way. Megan is unusually quiet as she finally stands up and turns around, smiling faintly at each and every one of her friends.

"Thanks for coming to help..I think we're ready..Let's do this!" She raises her hands skywards, summoning those mystical energies, stepping right in the middle of everyone as she envisions her soul dagger, eyes closed. "Sihal...Novarum...Chinoth.." The predictable pink glittery energies rise about her, a large glowing platform appearing at her feet and enlarging to encircle everyone around her.

For a moment or two, all that can be seen is a rush of dizzying pink energy and flashes of light and wind as they travel not just through space but dimensions..It's only brief though, a minute or two. And when it clears, they find themselves in a large, grassy plain, in a clearing in a massive forest, the trees large, beautiful and strangely alien to earth. But this is not the same place, not really. This is the never never. And, yawning above them about a hundred yards away on the top of a hill, is a massive and ancient castle of white stone, beautiful and regal yet sad and battered by a recent war, large vines growing over the front door, which is heavily guarded by goblins, far larger than the gremlins that attacked the school.

Dark magic reeks from this place from those who can sense such things and Megan shivers, nodding to the castle. "The weapon's in there, somewhere...Soo how should we approach this?" She looks to Jean and Scott for guidance. They are the leaders afterall.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon considers the situation for a moment, once the dizzying rush of pink and lights has passed them. She glances briefly at Lyra and, for a moment, has a faint, slightly sad smile on her face. Chances are she would never see the little fairy again--but then again, you never quite know!

Turning towards the castle, her expression evens out--which is almost more frightening than the scowl. "If you need eyes in the sky, I'm willing," she murmurs. However, the final decision is left to Jean and Scott. She's learned better than to buck their leadership, and indeed, trusts them both with her life.

Phoenix has posed:
"I'll see us all connected telepathically so we can talk and coordinate without them hearing us speak." When technology's success is questionable, you bring a telepath. Her mental presence is like a polite knocking at the door to the brain before she'd connect each mind so willing. There's no barging in, at least for the gathered party. "Here, you can call me Phoenix."

Her eyes turn to their surroundings then, taking in the would be idyllic scene minus the signs of war. << Considering their forces and our limited numbers, I'd say we'd do better to try and keep this quiet as long as we can afford to. Let's see if there's another way in. The goal is the dagger and the Prince, not storming a castle. >> She looks aside to Cyclops then, silently looking for his opinion on the matter.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Once hooves meet ground, Morgana dismounts and the horse vanishes. It's kind of hard to find a horse, and she looks a little run down from the effort and magic but Morgana wants to sort this. Besides, that castle looks oh so tempting to steal. Which may not be a bad idea. If anything....Morgana's watching the castle, and then slowly looks over them all before she speaks.

"So, there's a castle on a hill, and we are getting your sould agger back...how?" she asks them all.

Superboy has posed:
"I have enhanced senses," offer Conner to Shannon. He looks a bit uncomfortable after the teleport. Magic teleportation does that to him. Like itching somewhere, he can't scratch. Or maybe it is the dark magic.

"That castle sure took a beating," he observes, "and I can some areas of burn trees, but it must have been weeks ago."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods to Jean, "Sounds like a good idea. Though we probably don't wanna attract too much attention." she peers skywards, nodding to Shannon, "I can take the East side if you wanna scout the west side for a sneaky back route in?" she nods to Morgana, "Sneak in, grab weapon, sneak out..That's the plan. Think you can give us some cover? maybe some more mist would be nice." It's thin but not thick enough to cover them, especially at the top of the hill. Either way she takes to the skies, laying low as she spies the hill top. To Conner she frowns a bit, "Wow, you think this is the Goblin's lair, or just the former fairy castle taken over..?"

Lyra whimpers a bit, staying close to Shannon. "It was OUR kingdom, but they took it away from us. They threw up us out..Now we are scattered.." she sniffles a bit, and most of the Pixies gather near her. "There are two other entrances although I don't know how heavily guarded they are, stables to the east, dungeons to the lower west." another pixie piles up, "Perhaps it's safer for us Pixies to stay back in the forest.."

Nightingale has posed:
The knocking at Shannon's mental doors was a little odd at first. But it did make perfect sense to rely on a telepath's gifts, especially when stealth was paramount. <<Phoenix... feels odd, calling you that.>> A light smile curls the corners of her lips upwards. <<Nightingale. It looks like Lyra knows of two possible ways in. She notes a possible entrance via stables to the east, dungeons to the lower west. Uncertain of guard situation. Suggestions?>>

This was going to take getting used to.

Glancing at Conner, she nods, but then lifts her chin in miss Grey's general direction. <<I'll defer to her judgement and experience.>>

To Lyra, she murmurs softly, "I'd keep you and yours out of harm's way if possible, unless anybody else has other ideas...?" She has no idea if Lyra is part of the mind-link or not.

Phoenix has posed:
<< My experience isn't in a place like this. >> Jean admits to Megan. << Magic is not in my skillset. So on this, I'll defer to those of you who know more. >> Is she side-eyeing Morgana? Maybe just a little.

<< Scott and I will stay to the rear. He'll watch our backs while I focus on shielding you and Shannon primarily. I'll keep the link open, and I may also be able to get us past some forces if I can get into their head quick enough. >>

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana's relieved when the shielding is off her to do list. She has a way to pull the guards out of the castle...hopefully tie them up in a fight. For this...she needs to call in what humans call favors.

"Come to me, sprites and fey of the land, come, answer the call. I request your aid" she says, swaying on her feet. They seem to arrive from every direction. Fey, pixies, sprites, every sort of fey Morgana has come in contact with. Of course, they are illusions, but....Morgana's put magic into them and made them look real. She's on the verge of passing out,but...

There's the sound of a hunting horn as illusory fey mounted on horses charge through them all. Morgana's last words before she passes out are...

"Go...now..."

Superboy has posed:
Conner starts when someone speaks on his head. He has heard about telepathy, but this is the first time for him. So now he is trying to think more quietly, thinking his thoughts can be read. Which is pretty silly.

He was considering charging head-on, of course. Draw all attention, so Megan can find her dagger. But he realizes his supposed invulnerability might not work very well here, where most everyone is magical. What would Rob do? He makes sneaking look easy.

Fortunately, he doesn't have to think a real plan as Morgana makes one first. "Damn, nice... lets hurry up, guys."

Wolverine has posed:
Logan had just barely made it to the portal before it closed. He's amazed no one saw him. Good. Splitting off from the group quickly he figured it was time to do what he does best. While Scott, Jeanie, and the rest did their job. Logan decided to take a different approach. He snuck off to the flanks and started 'thin the heard', so to speak.

Then comes a sound that echoes throughout the woods all around. "RAAAARGH!" It's a sound none but a small handful and many dead have heard before. It seems this magical realm had just got infested with an invasive species. The Wolverine.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles and nods to Morgana as she creates a good distraction. It certainly does attract the attention of a good number of the goblin guard and they snarl and charge at her and her 'army' with powerful, deadly weapons. Though these are not the small gremlins who attacked the school. The goblins are huge, muscular, deadly..And sooner or later they're gonna realize this is just a trick. The Pixies join in the fray too, not terribly powerful with brute force but good with colorful bursts of distracting lights and explosions of sound that draw the archers away from the others as they take aim.

Fortunately, The Wolverine is there too, to pick em off one by one, and they may be big and powerful but they're no match for him....Too bad there are so damn many of them. This may take awhile..

Meanwhile, Megan takes to the skies, scouting the area, reaching the dungeons first. <<Guys, over here, looks like they're overconfident in guarding their prisoners. Perhaps they can help us too!>> She's still in telepathic communication with them all and hopefully they will follow her. The stables Afterall, are full of soldiers gearing up to ride out too, but it wont be long before they see through the ruse either.

Megan draws a breath, landing near the dungeons and teleports to the other side of the heavy iron bars, finding the lever and opening it. It makes a loud grating sound. She winces, knowing guards will come soon. <<Hurry! This way!>>

Nightingale has posed:
Uh-oh. Shannon knew that sound. A wild Wolverine has appeared! Go, claw attack! It is highly effective!

She grinned and took a better hold of her staff, running after Megan towards the dungeon entrance. So much for splitting up and exploring. Though her wings are tucked in tightly behind her, it's a bit of a tight fit under the door, the healer-in-training doing the limbo beneath the grate. How low can she go? As it turns out, just low enough to avoid getting scraped, without breaking her back in the process.

<<You got it. The sooner the better.>>

Superboy has posed:
Conner keeps close to Megan. Or tries to, because when she teleports, he grumbles about that not being the plan. Never mind the 'plan' is mostly improvisation. "Next time let me open the door, Megan. I am super-strong, and that goblin guy is after you."

He misses Wolverine's entrance because Morgan created a whole illusion army of critters of all shapes and forms. Logan is almost normal there.

He sighs, and definitely takes the lead. "Just point me the right direction, okay? If we run into trouble I'll keep the bad guys busy."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smirks at Conner and nods, "Right!" of course that would have been easier but..Improvising and all that. She falls into step behind him, staying close to Shannon while Jean and Scott bring up the rear. The dungeon entrance is in a moat, full of ankle deep water that surrounds the castle, though in places it can get even deeper. Following the pathway eventually leads to another door though this one is not so hard to open, and beyond that is another long corridor as they head in further. They're pretty deep beneath the castle and screams and cries of prisoners can be heard as they head further in, the corridor lit only occasionally by torches.

Eventually they come to a series of cells on either side, maybe twenty or so, each filled with many fae prisoners, mostly Sidhe noble folk, though their clothes are long since tattered and ragged, their faces covered in bruises and blood and grease. Their bars are iron, and that's all it takes to keep them escaping, iron being their greatest weakness.

Megan pauses as she peers at them, biting her lip. "Should we pause and help them? They're suffering.." of course time is of the essence and sooner or later the goblin prince will be onto them but..

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon frowns, looking at the bars on each cell, then at Conner. "Just how long would it take you to turn them loose?" she queries. "Because honestly, something like this, allies would be a huge help." She looks over the injuries of each one in turn, and... damn it, there had to be a way into those cells!

Looking down at her hands, she curls and flexes her fingers. She'd had one healing success a few days ago. Could she do it again, in this strange realm?

Superboy has posed:
"Not a minute," replies Conner, looking pretty serious for once. Because the sight of those folks imprisoned makes him a little angry. "Unless the doors are magical, lets see..." he rips one of the doors from its hinges. "Nope, hope you can help them, Shannon," next door gets the same deal. And the next.

Wolverine has posed:
The fight was tough. Not the hardest he's ever fought. A bunch of amateurs really. But the left their mark fror sure. Now bleeding, uniform torn and in a bad mood. But the mission continues. Taking a sniff to the wind he takes off in a full run towards his kids.

After a few moments he emerges from the treeline, stops and looks up. "Of course there had to be a damn castle." With a sigh he pops his claws again with a !SNIKT! and punches the castle, sinking the claws deep. Lifting himself af far as he can go before he rinses and repeats.

"Cowboys ain't easy to love... *grunts* ...and harder to hold." he starts as he lifts himself higher. "They'd rather give you a song... *grunts* ...than diamonds or gold." and ges even higher.

-Fifteen minutes later-

Just over halfway up the side of the castle the Wolverine continues his climb. "Cause I've got friend in low place... *grunts* ...where the whiskey drowns and beer chases my blues away. I'll be okay." he stops in his acent for a maoment. Looks down and then looks up. "I am so... going to kill... the designer of this place." with his break up he continues on. "I aint big on social graces... *grunts*

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn stays back from the iron bars. She's only part faerie and iron gives her allergies rather than any major damage but it's still unpleasant. Superboy, with his superior strength is easily able to rip open the prison doors, allowing the prisons to flee. Some of them stay behind, either because they are eager to win back their castle, or because they are too injured too flee.

If there are any mortal wounds, those who had them are few and have already died of their injuries, although there are a few who have some broken bones, or gashes, wounds that require immediate medical attention that prevent them from walking away. They reach out pleading arms towards Shannon, perhaps at least some of them perceiving her to be some kind of angel..

Megan smiles, "Alright, reinforcements! Wonder how they're doing outside.." she frowns peering around, "Okaay, there are the steps heading up..I sense the dagger is in a room in one of the higher central towers.." she heads for the staircase, pausing briefly towards Shannon, "You gonna be okay here?" but fortunately Jean is here to help while Scott has their back to face the goblin prince.

And of course they're still in contact with Logan, who has cut a decent path through the goblin soldiers along with Morgana and the pixies. Of course not all of them were defeated and many head back to the castle, alerted to the fact that they have now been seiged. Why, some guards are already heading down the steps to confront the intruders in the dungeons. Megan snarls, unsheathing her claws, ready for a fight. She really misses her dagger sometimes but..this will have to do.

<<Mr. Logan, can you hear me? We're in the dungeons, freeing prisoners, on our way up..The dagger's in the throne room!>>

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon could no more ignore those wordless pleas for help than she could keep her heart from beating, or her lungs from drawing breath. "Thanks, Conner," she says, smiling a little, before turning to Megan--though all could hear her through the telepathic link, of which Jean was, at the moment, the hub. <<GO. I'll follow as soon as I can. These people need help.>>

She was no angel, and knew it. But these people did not. At least for the moment, she could be one for them. Starting with the lacerations and bruises, she rests her hands on each one in turn. Each one would feel a gentle warmth, a light tendril of thought reaching out to touch their own life force, and encourage rapid healing on their own. It still took energy and concentration, but was far less stressful on her than the way she had always healed others before.

She had done it once. But would it work again?

It seemed the Fates were with her, for each one she touched, soon had their injuries fade into nothingness, leaving whole what was once broken. Each one, though, took a bit more and more of her own energy to assist. Those with broken bones were last--and were, mercifully, few in number. However, they took the most to help, and left her shaking with the effort of healing the final one.

<<How did Triage manage all those times...>> came the weakened mental touch from the young healer in training. <<Got to rest for a few minutes. Will be there as soon as possible.>>

Superboy has posed:
"We gotta wait for Shan," says Conner, looking how Megan prepares to fight. "Hey, hey. Lets try something first, since we have a bunch of spare doors." He grabs several of them and uses them to block the staircase the guards are using, forcing them into place with telekinesis. As they hack their way through a door, he puts another in place, and another. Hey, they have twenty thick doors and the staircase is pretty narrow. "It is going to take them a while," he says with a smirk, "enough time we can get all the people out there. And when they finally get here, you can just teleport us up, right?"

Wolverine has posed:
The ascent is slow and steady. The spider makes it look easy. But he aint here. Taking a look up he starts to mentally hupe himself up. Almost there. Almost there. And then comes a voice in his head.

<<I can. Good. I'm almost t' the top.>> He keeps the intel short and sweet a as he continues on.

After a long few minutes he finally makes it. As he pulls himself up and over the parapet he falls to the stonework beneath him. His claws retract as takes a few deep breaths before climbing to his feet. He stops as he looks to the group of two or three dozen goblins staring at him. With a snarl he looks at all of them "Run now and warn every one you see. I'm gonna kill every one of ya lil rat bastards." His voice is low, gruff and full of anger. But that isnt the scariest part. It's when the sound of six claws popping from his hands break the silence with a SNIKT!

Pixie has posed:
The goblins snarl and swarm Logan as he makes it over the parapet. Many fall but many more appear to take his place to swarm him, attacking with fearsome strength and speed, many brandishing some pretty huge and sharp weapons as they rush towards him..This could get ugly.

Meanwhile, in the dungeons, the guards continue to put up a fight against the chairs and steel door as they're blocked out. But they're pretty strong. Good thing Superboy is too, so this may take a while. unfortunately there is the other entrance from the corridor, and some guards are already rushing at them from that angle. Some of the prisoners yell and charge at the guards using whatever items they can get their hands on for weapons. Torture devices, pipes and bricks work well but are not the best.

Megan bites her lip, glancing between Conner and Shannon, nodding nervously, "I can port us up there to join Logan, sure.Shall I port the wounded to the forest once they're healed up?" she frowns a bit though, hoping she has the energy for all this porting.

And as Shannon continues to heal, she gets ready to open another portal, trying not to worry about Logan and Morgana. <<Hang in there, Mr. Logan, we'll get there as soon as we can!>>

Wolverine has posed:
His breathing is heavy, as his arms hang down to his side with his claws retracted. He's covered in his blood and that of the goblins who threw their lives away. They got quite a few good hits in, but that won't stop him. As he tears off what's left of his uniforms upper half and mask to the stone floor. He spits out some blood as he crawls over the still bodies of the goblins. Those who know how he fights, know what sort of sickening chaos he made and is leaving behind. He's said he was going to kill them all and their shitty lil prince. He has a promise to keep. And the Wolverine keeps his promises.

Nightingale has posed:
Relying on others was something the young mutant did not take to well, despite her trips to the medbay. Each one had irritated her to no end. But this time, there was just no time to quibble about the finer points of teamwork. The healings, done in a way that were new to her, had drained Shannon of considerable energy, energy that could only be replenished with a couple good, solid days of rest.

But they weren't out of the woods yet. There was no time for rest. She would have to settle for catching her breath for a few minutes, and pressing onwards.

Paler than usual, she looks at the others on the team, each in turn. <<Let's roll, and get these prisoners out of here. Those doors Conner ripped out will only buy us so much time. What's the game plan?>> As she catches her breath, some of her color begins to return; however, it seems unlikely she'll be straying far from home for a few days after this!

Cyclops has posed:
<< Keep us updated, Logan. If you need back up, I can send Jean in. >>

Cyclops says as a bright hot laser beam fires out of his visor to send a Goblin warrior flying into a wall, cracking the concrete as it bursts through the door. He is back to back with Jean as he shifts his way into position, the pair of X-Men having been working together since they were kids. They know each other's moves, their thoughts, and rhythms through their mental link.

<< We are getting hostiles now, but it's nothing I can't handle on my own. Pixie is going to take the wounded out. >>

Whipping his head around, he zots another Goblin, then ricochets another beam along the floor to strike another.

Phoenix has posed:
As per the plan, Jean focused on keeping everyone connected and her students (and Scott) in one piece in an aura of brilliant rose. It's exhausting to keep up multiple shields under fire and make sure everyone can communicate at a thought's notice, but she's trained for years to know just how and when she can push her limits. She can sense someone is struggling.

<< Shannon, focus on the critical. >> Coaching even in the middle of a warzone. She sounds like her mentor. << The rest we'll tend to when we're all safe. Save your energy for the dying. You can't help them if you're on the floor. >> It's a grim statement that's said gently, but true all the same.

Speaking of, << How's that portal coming? >>

Superboy has posed:
Conner didn't expects more goblins coming from behind, since that was where the heroes came. But in truth they left behind a few side corridors. Looks like the castle dungeons are pretty large. Which makes sense in a goblin castle, he guesses.

The problem is the rescued people is trying to fight. "Wait, just let us handle it!" He can't quite handle much, since he is holding the stairs closed. Sometimes a hero can't save everything, he just hates that fact.

He spreads his senses through the walls of the staircase, to make the goblins lives more difficult by breaking brick and stairsteps. But it is solid stone and his telekinesis is not strong enough just to collapse the stairs.

Pixie has posed:
Things are pretty chaotic now, and it looks like the goblins banging at the top of the stairs are making headway, as the big, heavy door starts to buckle a bit. It's clear that these guys are pretty strong, stronger than your average person, definitely stronger than the fae prisoners, who are struggling to keep up a fight, starved and exhausted and wounded as they are.

Fortunately, Conner is just about able to manage to keep the goblins from getting in from the steps but how long can he hold it up?

Some of the prisoners stumble back, a few stepping towards Shannon and Jean. "It's alright, the survivors created a hidden camp in the forest. We can take the wounded there. Please conserve your strength."

The fae prisoners are valiant in their efforts but ultimately they're starting to fall back, mostly because they're not as well fed or in peek condition like the goblins. Fortunately Cyclops has better luck in clearing the way with his laser beams. Several more goblins fall back as he zaps through them, although there are still so many more.

Megan bites her lip, glancing about nervously. "Shoot, this is intense..I just hope I have enough juice left.." she sighs and nods, "Okay, here goes! Sihal Novarum Chinoth!" she spreads out her arms, creating as big a portal as she can muster. "Over here, hurry!" she ushers the wounded in first, who are assisted by some of the prisoners who are in better shape as they flee to safety. A few prisoners who seem to be in better shape stay back to assist Cyclops in fighting the incoming goblins.

Megan doesn't close the portal until they're all through, and she takes a few breaths, rubbing her forehead. She doesn't usually port this many times in a day, and it does get a bit tiring, but the battle isn't over yet!

<<OKay, everyone come close to me! I'm gonna port us to where Logan is..Uh, Phoenix, can you guide me?>> with any luck he's nearing the throneroom and the source of all this mayhem..But for now, Logan is approaching a seemingly endless army of goblin soldiers, unphased by his claws, and it only gets worse as he approaches the throneroom. Good thing he's got the healing factor..

Nightingale has posed:
It may be cold comfort, but there are no dying amongst those Shannon is trying to help; those who had already reached that point, have sadly gone beyond it, long before the cavalry arrived. The worst of it seems to have been some broken bones. However, there were just /so many/ who needed help. <<None dying. Just... so many. This kind of healing... untested, not enough time.>>

There are two potent flashes of memory in stark relief that come to the surface as Shannon looks to those more able-bodied of the prisoners helping get the rest of their comrades to safety. One is very grim--and one that runs very deep. A rally. A Sentinel firing. A teen not much younger than Shannon falling, wounds in the back too great to bear. The winged girl reaching him too late.

But there is one equally as strong, that comes through clear as day, a beacon of hope--but where had the words come from originally?

'You can't save 'em all. But if you can't find a way to keep going, how many other people are going to die instead?'

It is enough. Jean's coaching, and those words bring the winged girl to her feet. <<I've got better things to do than to fall today. Training later. Business now. What's next?>>

Wolverine has posed:
Logan hears the mental request, but he doesn't reply. He's busy at the moment by pulling a spear out of his side. And they don't need to know what he's doing isn't very heroic. As the metal-tipped stick hits the floor. Logan leans against a cool stone pillar and takes a few breaths till he spits up some blood. "Great. A punctured lung. Need a moment t'..." However he has no time for rest as another group of well armed goblins come from around the corner. With a scowl returning to his face, his claws slowly breach the skin and slide from his hands, this causes the group to hesitate slightly. That was a mistake. He rushes them as he lets out a sound that resonates through the castles. "RAAAAAAAGH!"

Cyclops has posed:
<< We should probably help him. >>

Cyclops says as he arcs a wide beam of red through the doorway, sending a number of rushers backwards and tumbling into the hall. His visor sizzles with steam leaking off the gold metal before he glances over towards the others.

<< Good job, Pixie, Nightengale. Let's get to Wolverine and finish this. >>

Stepping in closer to Pixie so that she can cast her magic, he gives a firm nod of his head to Jean. She knows what to do next.

Phoenix has posed:
Stories and lessons later, certainly. Jean's got more to focus on then deep diving into flickers of memory. She watches as prisoners escape to a hopefully safer local, and at Megan's call to group up she moves in closer to her.

At the request for help, her eyes turn up to the stone vaults above them. It takes her but seconds to pinpoint Logan in the castle reaches above, and the mental connection between them all feels drawn like the tide on that singular point. It's a beacon for Megan to focus on. << There, and he's not alone. Keep together and behind me in case I need to shield you, and be ready for a fight. >> Reinforcements are on the way.

Superboy has posed:
Conner looks quite relieved when Megan finally opens the portals. In retrospective they should have done that before starting to heal people. But on a positive side, the have drawn a lot of soldiers down here and now they are port up. Leaving the goblins to rush back, this time climbing all the way.

"Good timing, they are making mincemeat of the last door," he says with a grin. Because breaking the other 19 doors he put in their way most have been anything but fun, and it will be all for nothing. "First thing is to save lives," he notes, "the second thing is beating up the bad guys."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn swallows a bit. She hasn't ported that many people before, but she is thankful that they managed to help the prisoners. Of course even then, she didn't know enough to port them to their safe haven in the woods, but one of the fae prisoners was certain that it was not far away, and so they were all safely teleported a little ways from the castle, in the forest outside.

Good thing Morgana had drawn them away to begin with, let's just hope Morgana and the Pixies are safe. But right now they have something else to worry about. Logan's fighting a one-man battle up above, and the Goblin Prince is closing in on him fast! Thankfully, Jean's guidance helps her to find Logan's location, focusing on that as she closes her eyes once more. She sure hopes she will have enough juice to get them back home at the end of the day, but she can't worry about that now!

"Alright, here we go! Hopefully this is it--Sihal Novarum Chinoth!!" she yells, eyes closed as she summons another portal, whisking them all the way to the upper levels of the castle, and Logan..

...And on the other side of the portal, they find themselves standing between Logan, a stunned army of goblins..And a large set of double doors leading to the throneroom and the Goblin Prince within...

...Needless to say, a flurry of goblin soldiers charge in on the dungeons from both sides, rather surprised to find it quite void of prisoners...

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon had seen it before, in the Danger Room, a wild Wolverine doing what he does best. It was a fearsome thing, but those who had seen it, learned very quickly to respect the man in his natural element.

However, it seems these goblins had never learned such respect.

     Their loss.

The winged teen's first instinct is to take quick stock of her new surroundings, to see if there is anything that might be turned to use against the goblins, and help the team thin the herd further, to break through to the throne room. Her next instinct is to adjust her stance with her bo staff, and be ready to fight the hard way. <<Need eyes in the sky, or boots on the ground?>>

Wolverine has posed:
Logan stands over the lifeless form of a larger goblin, punching it over and over with his claws out. He's, again, surrounded by bodies and covered with more blood and ichor atop already dried. But what's more surprising is he's been skewed by three spears and has a dagger sticking out from his collar bone. With a groan of pain and lack of breath, he turns and looks to his arriving team. "Took... long 'nough."

Cyclops has posed:
<< Get in the sky, Nightengale. Keep out of their reach. >>

Cyclops says as he taps his visor and gives another blast forward to try and clear a path for Wolverine to work with. ZOT! FWASH!

<< You're leaking, Logan. >>

There is a bit of wry amusement in his voice as he steps forward along his soldier's shoulder.

<< Phoenix. Finish this if you can. >>

Spread your wings, firebird, is what he's suggesting.

<< Pixie, support Night in the air and clear out any wounded if we start to fall. >>

Phoenix has posed:
<< Thanks for softening them up for us. >> Jean quips to Logan with a quick spark of returning humor before she steps ahead in front of the team. << Shields going down, watch yourselves. >>

The shields she'd been holding are dropped as her powers pull inward and refocus in the palms of her outstretched hands, the sweat already on her brow increasing with the added focus. What follows next is a burst of vibrant pink light that explodes forward from her as she cuts loose with a pulse of telekinetic power with strength enough to crack the surface of the stone walls that it rushes past. It's a solid fifty ton tidal wave of power aimed to bowl over or even crush an army, like chucking an adolescent blue whale down a hallway.

Superboy has posed:
Conner stands close to Megan for the teleport. As if trying to protect her, which is not going to work because magic teleport always leaves him dizzy for a few seconds. Also, all those dead goblins? Not good.

He has been trying to prevent anyone from dying. Anyone. Stopping the goblins at the staircase was not just for the safety of the others. It was also to protect the critters from getting trounced by Kryptonian punches, laser eyebeams and cosmic firebird mutants.

"Damnit," he mutters, "okay, lets try go do this without anyone else dying, okay?"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks, refocusing on their new environment and nods to Cyclops, sweeping into the air. <<Got it!>> she peers around getting familiar with the layout of the land so to speak and frowns softly as some goblins aim and fire arrows at her at Shannon. She yelps, darting to the side. "Shan, watch out, they've got archers!" Megan yells to her before focusing on the group below.

Cyclops blasts another path through the goblins for Logan to work with, and Phoenix works on the doors which, for all their strength and might, stand no match against her powerful telekinetic blasts. They creak and groan and explode outwards from the weight, large boulders thundering to the ground.

Within is a large throneroom with a velvety red carpet leading from one end right up to the raised steps at the other end. The carpet covers a delicatedly adorned grey marble floor, dotted with sconces and torches at regular intervals. Large railings line the two sides with raised stone bleachers on either side. At the far end is of course the exquisitely crafted throne, large and golden and jewel encrusted. And on this sits the Goblin Prince, dressed in a stunning black leather coat and white laced shirt, sitting lazily as he watches the heroes, a large and slender sword held languidly in one hand, its hilt gold and jewel encrusted, the blade crystalline and glimmering with a hundred points of light. And at the tip is the glowing pink souldagger that is Megan's.

Slender eyes narrow on the unexpected visiters.

"So. You finally arrived. How nice." he opens his free hand and instantly unleashes a rain of fire upon those gathered.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon flies up to the ceiling, darting out of the way of arrows headed right in her direction. Archers? Good, maybe she could turn this to good use. It would take precision flying, good timing, and an insane amount of luck.

<<Keep these bozos off my back a sec, will ya?>>

Taking a deep breath, the healer-in-training pulls her wings inwards, plummeting towards the ground--and towards the rear of one line of archers. For a few moments, it seems as if she might become a splat on the ground. But no. At the last second, her wings snap outwards, and she angles her bo staff towards the ground--right at ankle level for the archers--as she zips along behind them. Her flight path is meant to ensure that she keeps the ones she is trying to trip up, in line of sight of their comrades across the way--one group may find it difficult to fire, without hitting the other.

But would her insane trick work...?

Wolverine has posed:
Looking at Scott, Logan gives the man a scoff. "Shut yer yap and let's finish it, bub." he says as he starts to pull the spears through and out of his body. It takes a few excruciating minutes, but as the last spear drops to the floor, Logan quickly yanks the dagger from his collar and drops it with the rest.

With a grunt of pain he takes a deep well-deserved breath as he heals. "Okay." he mutters softly as he looks at the goblin priss, before he catches a glimpse of Conner out of the corner of his eyes. "Hey kid? Nice 'S'." he starts till he fully looks at him. "Got one question fer ya: How's yer aim?" Logan smirks as he pops his claws again.

Cyclops has posed:
"Let's finish it." Scott confirms as he jerks himself around to the side, creating another wide sweeping blast of red laser that flattens the front line of goblins that rush in.

<< Fireballs incoming. Phoenix. You got it? >>

<< Nightengale, Pixie, backline and on the ground, take cover behind us. >>

As he zaps away, a smirk tugs along his face at Logan's request.

<< I'll clear the way for a Super-Fast-Ball-Special. >>

And with that, he does so, a rush of red fills his eyes as he swivels his head towards those that guard the prince, looking to slam them with a red tidal wave.

Phoenix has posed:
After huffing and puffing and blowing the door down, Jean's gathering focus for another blast is instead turned upwards into a shield overhead of the team. It isn't quite fast enough and a few do rain down, with one of them ripping past her arm as she's reaching up to start the shield. There's a flare of pain through their collective link and a gritted teeth hiss from the woman, but she's steeled for the fight even as the charred and melted edged of her uniform smoke and sizzle. << Better hurry it up! >>

Superboy has posed:
Conner reaction to the fireballs is covering Megan with his body and hope his tactile telekinesis can prevent him from getting fried by magical fire. But fortunately, Jean's telekinesis is more versatile and does really stop heat.

"Ouch," he shakes off his left arm, the leather jacket caught fire. "I am going to bring this castle on top of the freak's head," he growls. And then Mr. Claws asks him about aiming. "Aim what? I have laser eyes, but your buddy with the gold and red visor seems to have that angle covered. I was just going to fly there," he points to the Prince and his throne.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks and nods, darting to the ground, falling in behind Cyclops and the others although a few manage to slip in on the sides and she snarls, lashing out with her newfound claws. "Back off, ugly!" she yells at it, fury in her eyes. She's done with this whole war thing and wants to end it already...And at the same time, some arches are caught off-guard by Shannon's daring rush at them. They yelp, eyes widen as they fall to the ground in a tumble. They sure weren't expecting that!

But then there are fireballs. Megan's eyes widen, getting ready to shield herself until Jean does the job for them. She breathes a sigh of relief, narrowing in on the sword that N'asroth carries.

"Careful, the tip of the sword ignores armour or super healing!" she's of course talking about her souldagger at the end of the sword. She does wince when Jean gets hit though, eyes widenned in concern. "Phoenix! Are you okay?" She glances around at the others, didn't Conner say he was especially weak towards magic? "Hey, are you alright? Maybe between the two of you you can take him down.."

But, the fight continues on, although most of the forces are thinning now, and pulling back and away from the shower of fireballs.

Unfortunately, while his sword protects him from all magic attacks, it does nothing against mutant powers, and Cyclops' laser beam sweeps a wide area towards the goblin prince and his nearby minions, many of whom are knocked out instantly or swept off their feet, but these guys are tough, or at least the Prince is. Even though he stumbles back, his spell interrupted as he slams into the nearby wall, he's only moderately bruised and a bit beaten up from the crumpled wall behind him.

He smirks, climbing to his feet again, approaching the group. "Idiots. Should have figured you would follow me thus far. Why dont you hand over the faerie queen and we can make this quick."

Nightingale has posed:
<<Copy that, Cyclops. C'mon, Pixie, I'll make us some popcorn!>>

Shannon's mental tone is, though decidedly weary, still bearing hints of good humor as she breaks off her run on the goblin archers. Swooping upwards and banking around, she makes a beeline for the back of the throne room.

Or at least, she is till she, like everyone else, hears and feels miss Grey's pain through the link. <<Phoenix! Sitrep, how bad is it?>>

For the moment, she obeys Scott's order and angles her flight for the rear guard of the group. It was all she could do to not run right to miss Grey right then and there, but worry thrummed through the mental link like a discordant note in the midst of a well-orchestrated symphony. <<Do you need an assist?>>

Wolverine has posed:
Logan growls unamused by the kids cockyness. "Get yer head outta your 'S' kid. He's expecting you to come at him." Logan starts. "What he won't expect is a 300 pound angry Canadain getting hurled at him at Mach three by Superboy." he says as he glances to Gwynn then back. "You wanna save yer girlfriend? Chuck me as hard as you can at the punk then protect her." Logan Captain Morgans a leg and hopes the kis listens.

Cyclops has posed:
<< Detention for you Miss Gwynn. No boys allowed. >>

Cyclops taps his visor again, shooting a fireball in the air away from them. He gives a glance over towards Jean as she is burned by a fireball, though he doesn't lose his focus. They're trained veterens.

<< You okay, Phoenix? If you need a breath, let me know. >>

"He means throw him!" His voice rises up as he calls to Connor, then lasers another Goblin that goes flying towards them, trying to leap through the front guard. The green projectile hits the ceiling, then the ground with a sickening crunch.

Phoenix has posed:
<< I'm fine, don't worry about it! >> Jean responds quickly and maybe a little curtly, but she's kind of sore and cranky. But to a woman that's been dead, a scorched arm isn't much of a concern. With the fireballs disrupted and Logan planning to javelin a Prince with the holy power of maple fury, she focuses on the archers that are trying to give the girls a hard time.

She lashes out again with a more focused aim, trying to pick off a few of the archers and knock them over to keep them from firing. It clearly takes more of her focus and energy than normal and she's starting to look a bit drained of color.

Superboy has posed:
"You are nuts," comments Conner with a grin, slapping away a goblin that was charging with a maul. The poor humanoid goes flying twenty feet and missing a few teeth. Then he grabs Logan, or rather just touches Logan's arm.

And 'grabs' him in a TK-field.

And just launches him. Not match three, but it must be close to the speed of sound. Logan is barely a blur when he flies towards Prince McEvil.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks at Logan's comment, eyes widenned in surprised. "Hey, now just a minute...!" although her face reddens at the implication, and reddens further at Scott's retort. <<..Hey wait a second, I never even...! He's just jumping to conclusions!>> she pouts a bit, shaking her head. Maybe they can sort this out later. IF they get out of here alive..

Still, she does her best to continue swiping at goblin soldiers with her claws as they come too near, even as they make it closer to the throne room and their real objective. Geez, this sure is a big room! Megan mutters something under her breath, but pauses a moment at the Prince's words.

"Wait, Morgana, she never joined you, Logan? Where is she!?" she's clearly upset, which is a bad idea, because a couple of goblins slash at her from behind and she cries out, stumbling from a wound in her side before she spins around, snarling angrily to tear into one of the uglies. "Morgana.." she murmurs, clearly concerned.

And the goblin prince just laughs some more as his goblin soldiers continue to close in on the party, lifting his hand, this time summoning bolts of lightning to strike down at the party. Unfortunately, he's totally not focusing on the hairy ugly guy with the claws, or the cocky guy who just threw him at him. Nope.

Nightingale has posed:
<<Oh come on, Pixie, he's been sticking to you like glue since this whole thing started,>> Shannon quips, teasing her teammate--and hopefully keeping her spirits up. Good humor, however, only goes so far, coming up woefully short as it is cut off by a Pixie's rage. The sounds, sights, and smells of battle dominate her senses, a cacophony of conflict that unfortunately drowns out what the Goblin Prince has in store.

The first clue Shannon has that something else has come into play in the battlefield is stray wisps of her hair starting to stick up on end. An instant later, a halo of bluish-white shimmers around her, with the scent of ozone sharp in one's senses--much like the midst of a summer storm.

     Thunder.

     Lightning...

The crackling and odd smell give her just an instant in which to fling herself to the ground and roll out of the way, with only the tips of her wingfeathers getting singed--and a veritable flurry of colorful metaphors coming through the mental link.

<<That was too close! Pixie, stay with us, no going all attack faerie on us now!>>

Wolverine has posed:
As Logan starts to lift from the ground he starts to say "Up, up and... ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!" and off he goes like a bat outta hell his arms held straight out and claws blazing. If the kids aim is good this should be a short trip. Otherwise: Wall pizza with adamantium slices.

Cyclops has posed:
"Nice throw, kid."

Cyclops says as he continues to tap his visor, zotting a few more guards off to the side to clear the way for Superboy to launch Logan through the air.

<< Incoming lightning bolts. Scatter formation! >>

With that, he ducks and rolls to the side, most likely behind Jean with her TK shields that can protect them, hopefully.

<< Nightengale, Pixie, take cover if possible and don't get hit. We need both of you functional for the end game here. >>

With another tap of his visor, he sends a sharp blast towards the Goblin King's feet, looking to knock him off balance so that Logan's attack can hit more effciently. Distract the enemy, seal the deal.

Phoenix has posed:
Her students are getting hurt and the rest of them aren't going to stand in one relative piece too much longer at the progress they're making. And now this thing who's terrorized her school has the gall to laugh at them. Jean sucks in several deep breaths to collect herself, closing her eyes as the air turns to ozone and makes each breath metallic. She dives deep into her power as she hears Logan's battle cry and the beam of Scott's power is like slow motion static to her. The Goblin Prince becomes a target at the center of a rifle's scope in her mind's eye as she brings every focus to bear. To those watching her, they'd see the pink nimbus of her power changing, shuddering, breaking into ragged and flickering tongues at the edges and her fiery hair lift and flutter of its own accord along with several chunks of broken stone and cracked timber.

When her eyes open, they're burning with incandescent light and she stretches out a claw-curled hand towards the Prince. << Shut up. >> Then as the lightning cracks down, the bolts jerk in their paths as if pulled on strings, and zero in on the Prince in the wake of Logan's rampage with terrifying precision as his own power is turned against him. What scraps the Wolverine and Cyclops leaves behind, she's angling to evaporate.

Superboy has posed:
Conner is just not used to dodge, since he is invulnerable. Which is silly, because he is so fast he could even dodge bullets. Instead he takes the lightning head on, and screams in pain, trying to shield his head. His telekinetic force field saves him, but it is not fun at all.

"Enough already!" He cries. He can't see if Logan hit the prince, too much lightshow. So he punches. The floor.

And he uses his full power. So the floor of the throne room shatters, a crack spreading from his hand towards the Goblin Prince, chunks of stone flying in his direction, and then his throne along dozens of goblins are falling to the floor below. "Magic that out, asshole."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn shakes her head at Shannon and smirks. "Oh, I'm not denying we have a *thing*, but I never sneaked him into my *room* or anything requiring detention..." she rolls her eyes at the thought of being detained after all of this, and with her no longer a *child* even. What nerve! And while she's no longer under the Goblin Prince's influence, the very demonic form he's stuck her in still makes it harder for her to keep her cool.

Her smile is brief though, nodding to shannon and ducking to the ground as lightning blazes overhead. Still, she glances towards Conner, obviously concerned as he hurls Logan right before the lightning strikes. "Conner, watch out!"

The Goblin Prince just smiles as he watches the change in Megan. But perhaps he's a little too cocky as that hairy clawed guy comes flying at him with a furious bestial roar. Eyes widen, trying to rediract the lightning towards Logan. Unfortunately for Logan, that means he's likely to get zapped and fried pretty badly.

Unfortunately the mighty throw by Superboy is powerful enough that it sends Logan barreling into him regardless, knocking the sword from his hand. He snarls, stumbling back, reaching for the sword, but a moment later, the Phoenix's mighty claw reaches out and *grabs* the lightning, hurling with furious force back at him he shrieks as he crackles and pops, spikey blonde hair standing straight up in shock and pain..

And then there's the shuddering from the earthquake brought on by Conner. Fortunately the floor is sturdy and doesnt open up a hole swallowing them all up, but it sure sends violent shakes and tremours throughout the throneroom. The Goblin Prince shrieks as he's knocked off his feet from the combined power of Scott's furious blast as well as chunks of stone breaking from the columns above and burying him under piles of rock. He doesn't move.

As for the remaining goblin soldiers who are not already buried under rock, they are swiftly taken care of by the fae prisoners that remain behind, peering at the prince. "Thank you, everyone for your help. We can take it from here.

The sword meanwhile, lays discarded on the floor, glittering furiously with a hundred or so pixies struggling to flee their crystalline prison.

Cyclops has posed:
With a steaming visor, Cyclops straightens up and begins to brush off his uniform. "Good job, team. Could have been cleaner, but I'll take it." He reaches out to brush a hand along Jean's arm gently. "You doing okay, firebird?" He asks her with a concerned voice, knowing that tapping into the Phoenix takes a lot out of her.

"Pixie, get your dagger and let's get back home. We can figure the rest out from there."

Even though he's probably sizzling, he reaches out a hand to help Logan up, giving him a tight lipped grin. "And a few beers for our soldiers."

Nightingale has posed:
<<Copy that, Cyclops.>> Would it ever stop feeling so surreal, bypassing the formality of titles and surnames, and opting for code names instead? Shannon allowed herself a small smile, hoping it would never be entirely routine. Perspective was a good thing. There was little time for such mental meanderings, and even less to take cover. But where, in such an open space, could she truly find cover, versus concealment? There wasn't much, really. There were the pillars, the bleachers, the corbels and arches that might provide minor shelter at best.

But there was one space that seemed to have escaped notice. Beneath each row of bleachers was an area of elaborate wrought iron work, behind which appeared to lie a tunnel of some sort. A tunnel that had cleverly concealed doors, perhaps access to a service passageway of some sort.

There's no time for her to seek shelter in the tunnel, however--only to plaster herself up in the corner between the wall, the bleachers, and the dubious shelter of the tunnel as all hell breaks loose. Lightning becomes a crackling marionette held by tongues of flame, to be flung at the Goblin Prince by the Phoenix. Cracks from Hades itself are opened up in the floor leading up to the throne. A wild Wolverine goes flying through the air with the greatest of ease, flung by Conner--only to be zapped and sent to the ground with wisps of smoke rising from him. Blasts of ruby red, falling rock, and all soon lies silent on the battlefield.

Peering out from the bleachers, Shannon glances around, still cautious despite the assurance of the fae prisoners, who are now on cleanup duty. <<Urgh. It's going to be busy in the medbay when we get home...>>

But everyone was making it home alive. Silent for a moment, there is, from the young woman, a burgeoning sense of something, a warmth welling up within her and extending to each member of the team.

     Pride.

She could not be any prouder of her friends--no, her /family/--if she tried.

Phoenix has posed:
As the Prince falls under the onslaught, Jean watches with a raised chin and fire-flecked hair with her face shadowed with a look of abject spite. Pitiful prince.

The sound of Scott questioning her well-being makes her blink and faintly flinch as if coming back to herself and power and pride fizzle out like smoke. Pain returns to her arm and a wet blanket of exhaustion settles on her slumping shoulders, and she's suddenly aware of a brief lapse of a few seconds missing from her memory. She looks back to the rest of the team, saying hesitantly, "Y-yeah..." Then she's looking back towards where the Prince was buried and Scott working to hoist Logan off the floor. She sighs in relief and a silent thanks to see that they all look to be in one piece.

"Let's go home."

Superboy has posed:
Conner picks up the Prince's sword, to bring it back to Megan. "I can't find that little creep. Is it bad if part of me hopes he was crushed into fine paste?" Because not killing is a big part of his code, and this time he was somewhat careless. He rarely cuts loose like that.

Fortunately, most of the goblins are alive, just some concussions and broken bones. He is not too worried for them. "I am not sure how to get your dagger out this, but here it is."

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn sighs softly, following Shannon's lead, ducking behind the bleachers, although her eyes focus on Conner with some worry. still, she doesn't disobey a direct order, and he has some sort of shielding thing too it seems. Even so, once the lightning clears and the dust settles, Megan steps out, moving a bit too hastily for casual concern towards Conner. "Heey, are you alright? You were pretty awesome out there..Thanks for helping us.." She smiles faintly as she reaches out to touch his arm. Hopefully he didn't singe or burn anything.

The Fae prisoners peer back at her and smile. "You should visit us and our Queen sometime.." her eyes widen, "Oh yes, she is safe, she had suffered a serious injury, but she is recovering.." his gaze passes briefly towards Shannon, pondering something but shakes his head. She has done enough for his people. He smiles and bows to her. "Thank you, angelic one." he says simply. "And to the rest of you as well. I hope one day we can all thank you properly..But for now, we must detain this prisoner and rebuild our kingdom.."

Megan just swallows, glancing around at the rest of the room, relieved to see that Scott and Jean are okay as well, although Logan looks like he may need a nice shower, a new uniform and some other things.

Oh right and there's that sword. She nods, distracted, but Conner's already brought it. She smiles. "Thanks...We just need.." right, MOrgana..She glances around but no luck. With a sigh she takes the sword and closes her eyes, a bit disappointed. "I'll send you all back home..." but...Maybe she can figure it out later. Closing her eyes, Megan murmurs the magic words under her breath, a bit shakey and tired but...

"Sihal Novarum Chinoth!"
