Date of Scene: 26 May 2020
Location: Club Mjolnir, Hell's Kitchen
Synopsis: Elle decides to take the measure of a supernatural hunter in Dean Winchester, she sends him a private invitation to her club, as they two hold discourse.
Cast of Characters: Hela, Dean Winchester

Hela has posed:
Miracle Elle has built herself a very solid base in New York City, her Club Mjolnir getting rave reviews, a line of patrons waiting on a nightly basis, and sometimes even fair activity during day time. She's made some connections, and found new entities to keep an eye on. Today, on the other hand, the club was shut down. There was only one man who received an invitation for a private audience as it were with the proprietess.

Truly to her goth fashion, Elle is dressed in all blacks, with rings a plenty, some finger length with taloned tips. A simple necklace with the Valknut dangling from it as a pendant about her neck. Her makeup rather eerie and captivating. She awaits in a Faerling boats, with room enough for Dean to join her, where he'll be ushered upon arrival.

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean's in here to...honestly? He's not sure whathe's got himself into. A private audience with Miracle Elle? Really? A private audience?

"Yeah Sammy, I'll try not to kill her, alright. I'll call you when it's done" Dean says hanging up as he steps inside with a wave. "Hey" he calls. "Hey hey. Miracle Elle?"

Oh. There she....all in black and all with her style/ "Hey what's going on?" Dean asks. he's like a freight train charging forward, which....yeah that's Dean for ya/ If Elle wants reserved, she'd have probably gone for Sam. Nah. She got the freight train hyped up on energy drinks and sugar forward charrging Dean.

Which is good for Dean. Probably good for Elle,too, thinking on it. Dean's got his usual clothing on and gun under his jacket, too/ He's confident and friendly, but no foo;

Hela has posed:
Elle is silent for now, merely nodding at Dean as he refers to her by her moniker, she gestures with her hand to the seat across from her inside the boat. "Please," she offers, before asking, "...you dabble in the supernatural. So I'll ask, what do you know of the Black Sleep. What do you know of what earned me the nickname?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean takes the offered seat with a slow blink. "The Black Sleep?I tried. I really tried to save those people. I couldn't" he offers looking....regretful. Like he failed and people died. That's still bugging him. He shakes his head and looks over to Elle. "You know how that is to have people die on your watch and not be able to do a damn thing about it?" he asks, all serious. Dean shrugx and spreads his fingers on his lap. "Now, let's see. Why are you asking me this. Do you need my help?" he asks, taking a stab in the dark on the reason for the private audience.

Hela has posed:
"Many tried...it was far too powerful a magic involved, celestial magic, if you're familiar..." Elle offers cryptically, as the two are served mead in drinking horns. Elle raises hers to Dean, "skall," she toasts, before drinking some. "I have saved some, from the Black Sleep, that is why the Miracle moniker. It is not so much help, as it is an inquery, you deal with the supernatural? Can you describe your profession to me?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean takes a generous gulp of mead. "Soo" he says looking pleased. "So what do you wanna know? I track down and deal with supernatural problems" he offers, sipping the mead, then looks thoughtful and ovr the space between them. Looking over to Elle, Dean grins. So what are you looking for? I'm a hunter, I deal with supernatural issues and take them out" he offers with a knowing smile/

Hela has posed:
"What yields you chasing a supernatural problem? Paid service? Duty...? I want to understand you, Mr. Winchester," Elle says softly, having another sip off her drinking horn. "Then...would it be fair to say you are well acquainted with death, Mr. Winchester?"

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean thinks on it, drinking more mead. "Paid service, really" he admits finally. "Paid service and duty, if people are in danger I'll help, or if I get paid enough" Dean shrugs loooking serious.

"Do I know death? Yes, I am familiar with the concept of death" he says, wondering where this is going.

Hela has posed:
"So no ideology whatsoever behind your actions? Hmmm..." Elle seems to think it over, as she finishes her horn and puts it to rest on the table, resting her hand upon it and tapping her black polished finger nails against it. "So you're not necessarily a man of morals, and you do value money over life, be it beyond the ken of the natural world..."

"Death is more than just a concept, it is a part of the cycle, is it not...? I would expect a man of your profession to have a higher reverence to it..." her voice trails off, in disappointment almost.

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean watches Elle over his horn and weighs his words carefully, looking over to Elle. "Ideology? No, I use a mix of different religions and ideologies on things that are harming people" Dean starts, listing off what he uses, shotguns, handguns, swords, knives, baseball bats....and so forth, pretty much listing the holy items he's using across all his religionns that he uses. Dean pauses and turns his focus to the second part of her statement.

"Death is a cycle, yes, and death is but a state and none can break the cycle or halt it" Dean shrugs

Hela has posed:
"Use...? That's hardly what a holy man would say...pleas explain, I'm intrigued..." Elle remarks, and despite the fact she never shared once her intent beyond learning about Dean, this somehow feels like a test of sorts. "So...am I to understand you use holy artifacts of in which you have no faith? It is wonder they work for you at all..."

At his last words, Elle smiles crookedly, "would you say death guides your actions, or your actions are guided by death? You do seem to deliver it to a great many targets..."

Dean Winchester has posed:
"Oh they work, yes. They workk, but they work with rules and protocols" Dean begins. "Mostly since it's a complex byzantine set of rules and intricacies" Dean offers. "Though my fists and bullets and knives are not holy yet they work very well" Dean observes, noting her crooked smile. "What is it to you if" he pauses to finish off his mead. "What is it to you if I answer your question then? Does it change how you think about me huh? Did you have some idea of me being a cold blooded killer?"

Hela has posed:
"Naturally," Elle muses, studying Dean with a bit of a leer in her visage, her opinion forming the longer the conversation lasts. "I trust they do, Mr. Winchester, I take you've never heard of...the End?" Elle asks, arching a brow, curious about the reply.

"And are you...a cold blood killer?" Elle asks, chuckling, before snapping her finger as she gets served another horn of mead. "Sometimes in life we face questions, and some answers open doors, while other lock them," is all she has to share about his question.

Dean Winchester has posed:
Dean listens, ordering another horn of mead. This may turn out to be a stupid idea but....Dean's gonna enjoy things. Hey, mead? he likes the taste of it thanks. So yes. Second horn of it. Dean, Mead. Two horns of mead may not be a great idea but really, who cares?

Dean doesn't.

Am I a cold blooded killer? No. I kill to protect the greater good and people. Tell me, Miracle Elle. If there was a monster attacking this club, and we killed it to protect the customers and employees, would we be killers, or killing to protect more people than we killed?" he asks simply, watching her over his mead horn.

Hela has posed:
"I can tell you, with a sound level of assurance, no monster will be attacking -this- club..." there's a surprise amount of certainty in her words, in fact, Elle seems quite adamant. "But should you kill a monster who deigned attacking this very club, it would be appreciated."

Dean Winchester has posed:
"Then you know my position on killing" Dean says over the drinking horn, taking another drink. "I kill because it protects people/ Plus how else will I get paid, c'mon. Pie and burgers don't buy themmselves" he offers and looks pleased. Oh, great, he's not totally sober. Well then...
