Eva (170) has posed:
What does a Speedster do when they've spent the past day training and nearly getting cooked in a burning building? How about a little R&R in Hawaii? The Speedster with no code name is lounging in Hana, Hawaii. She happens to be worshiping the sun at the moment. She's got a HUGE cooler right beside her. Inside may as well be a quarter of a roasted pig pineapples and a bunch of drinks. Everything a speedster could need to recover. She's managed to find a swim suit to enjoy her sunning in thankfully. Her singed grey sports bra/yoga pants are being used as a pillow.

"Mmmmm Why didn't I think of this before. Its perfect. No crazy stuff trying to kill people, No hauntings, no burning buildings... right now. Everything is just right." She comments with a little smile. A pair of sunglasses protecting her eyes from the sun, the waves washing over her feet and the sand on her back. It's definitely nice.

Flash has posed:
When tracking a speedster, it helps to have satellite coverage of the world. Using the Watchtower, Barry was able to track down Eva to Hawaii, following the trail she made as she made her way to the island. From there, it is just a quick search around the island until he is able to come across her.

"So." he says as he stops next to the lounging hero. "Looks like you had an interesting day..."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva opens up her eyes to look and see the Flash above her. She smiles a little. "Hey Flash. Good to see you. I was just taking a little break. Ya know? I tired myself out yesterday. I figured, I'd find a place to relax. You know I was born not more then a few miles from here?" She snickers

She sits up and gets comfy. She's got sand all in her hair but honestly, she doesn't seem to care. "So whats up? You had to have done some serious looking to track me down?" She looks over at her other clothes and winces, "Lemme guess, you seen some news about a crazy girl in a fire?"

Flash has posed:
"Tracking you down wasn't too hard. I mean when you have a starting point, satellite, and know what you are looking for the rest of it is just legwork. I've had plenty of experience with that."

A small smile forms on the Scarlet Speedster's face, "And yeah...it was hard not to notice. Sports bras and shorts aren't exactly the type of clothing to go running around in. I'm sure you have noticed that the friction tends to be hard on your clothes."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva frowns, "yeah Umm, Well I broke Mach 3 then I found out my clothes were on fire and my shoes were melted. I found out that tighter clothes tend to survive a little better. Sadly the only tight clothes I have are these. So yeah. Fun! Right?" She shutters over the whole thing. "I lost a leather jacket, one of my favorite tops and my favorite pair of jeans!" She laughs a little.

"So thats what you wanted to track me down over? My horrible wardrobe?" She smirks. "Care for some pork? There was a Luau last night and I made a bunch of sandwiches up." She gets into the cooler and gets a pair of them out.

Flash has posed:
"Partially." says Barry with a smile as he moves a bit closer, reaching behind him and producing a small box, which he offers out. "Figured the very least I could do would be help you out on that front. And I would love a sandwich, thank you."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles and hands over one of the sandwiches. She also snags a drink out of there and hands it over. "Here you go. Have a seat. Can't complain about the day right?" She snickers and opens the package to see... a rather interesting icon on a nice suit. "Woah! That is so cool! Thank you! Anything I should know about it? I mean Its really cool and dramatic looking. I've never worn anything like this ya know?"

Flash has posed:
"It's a material I developed to withstand the frictions at which we run at, so no more shredding your clothes." says the Flash with a smile. "That, and i'll show you how to collapse it down into the ring in the box, for easy storage. I suppose I could modify the storage unit to be a broach or locket if you don't want a ring. I've just always used a ring."

The Flash rolls a shoulder in a shrug. "I took a few liberties in the design, but we can modify it as needed."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles a little, "Wait, it can fit in this little ring? Thats insane. I am going to have so much fun with this. And its cool. I like it. Its a nice design. I really like it." She smiles brilliantly. "Sorry I don't get gifts too often, usually a sandwich or something crazy for helping with the whole supernatural problems. Even that is rare. They typically are happy that they won't see me again."

Flash has posed:
Flash takes a bite of the sandwich and chews slowly, swallowing before he speaks again. "Yeah, it will fit into a ring. Then when you start going to speed it will pop out and expand. It's handy for maintaining it with you for times of need, and less cumbersome than wearing it under clothes."

He takes another bite of the sandwich, "I ruined many sets of clothes when I first started out, so I understand how it is. I try to help out those I can...I think of us as all a little family of sorts. We are all connected, but I have to also make sure I don't just hand them out to someone who might run a darker race. So, sorry for the delay."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles, "its okay! I get it. I'm not about to go nuts and hurt people. I've spent my life trying to protect people. Its tough but its worth it. Even if no one knows its was me." She smiles and gets into another of her sandwiches. A smile arcs her face. "They really know how to make a pig taste yummy here! Going to have to come back again for some!"

Then there is the comment about family. Its something she hasn't had in a long time. Even the thought of being part of a family is a little touchy for her. "A family?" The smile fades from her face. "I haven't had one since I was a little girl."

Flash has posed:
Flash moves over and takes a seat in the sand next to to her, "Sorry to hear that. I still have my dad, but my mom was murdered when I was a boy. Dad was arrested for it, even though he didn't do it...so I grew up without my family as well, but I had people to look over me. Sounds like you didn't." He sighs, and turns his cowled face towards Eva, "But we speedsters do tend to stick together, and you're one of us. Membership isn't required, though. It's your choice."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva blinks and nods, "I've been on my own since I was 12. my Mom and Dad were killed on a hunt. I guess I'm a legacy with the whole hunting thing. I ran and wanted nothing but revenge for so long that now, sometimes its hard to accept that its over. I got the vengence I wanted so bad but, I sorta think I lost part of myself to get it. Then again, had I not gotten it, I wouldn't be a speedster. Unless me winding up in the speed force was fate?"

She listens carefully to him. Then with little warning she quickly gives Flash a hug. "Thank you so much. Really. It, It feels good to have a family again." She laughs a little. "Met this old drunk once. Another hunter. He said something funny that I just took as some sort of drunken rambling. 'Family don't end in blood." She laughs a little.

Flash has posed:
Flash blinks and laughs a little at the hug, returning it. "You're welcome, Eva." he says, keeping a smile on his face. "And since we are 'family' now..."

The Flash reaches up and pulls the cowl back from his face, combing his blonde hair back with his fingers as he tries to smooth back 'cowl hair'. "My name is Barry. Barry Allen."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva blinks and blushes maybe a little, "A pleasure to meet you Barry Allen. Don't worry, when the cowls on you're the Flash. I won't out ya to anyone." She snickers a little. "I guess I need to come up with some sort of name. I mean. It would be pretty cheesy to use my real name right?" She goes quiet for a few moments as her mind works really fast to cook up something. "What about something like Swift?" She winces, "Wasn't that a fox in some silly TV show?"

Flash has posed:
"I have no idea about a fox? It's possible? Swift isn't bad, though. I have a friend whom goes by Streak. It's not something you have to come up with right away though. Unless you start doing press conferences or talking to people nobody is going to know what you are called anyway. Of course, the media will make something up for you in that case, and then you will be stuck with it."

Barry grins, shrugging his shoulder once more and taking another bite of his sandwich. "And I am not worried about you outing me. If I was, I wouldn't have told you." He pauses, and winks, "Besides...if you did I would just sick Batman on you."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva Snickers, "Eva Swift?" She finishes off her sandwich and fishes out another one as well as an ice cold drink. She takes a long sip of it and snickers a little more. "Not planning on it but when the media finally gets the point that there is another speedster in town they might try to pin me down with something really nasty. Like Speed Girl or Flash Chick... make me sound like a fan girl." She shutters a little. "Don't get me wrong being associated with the Flash name wouldn't be terrible but, Flash Chick sounds like I am some kind of umm... well Flasher!"

She snickers, "Oh please, Batman doesn't exist. He's like Bigfoot, just something crazy people use to give their lives meaning." She double-takes a moment. "Wait... He's not real is he?"

Flash has posed:
Flash says, "As real as you, I, Superman, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and the rest of the Justice League." says Barry with a chuckle as he finishes his sandwich and takes a drink. "I would introduce you, but he is a bit on the shy side. Not as personable as someone like Supes or Diana.""

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva blinks a few times. "Wow! You run with the high rollers, don't ya?" She smiles and looks at the silver and violet uniform in the box. "Well, One way to find out how this looks." She stands up. Taking the uniform, She darts off into the woods for a few seconds and returns dressed in the brand new suit. "Woah. Definitely feel on the whole Super powered end of the spectrum wearing this." She laughs a little, "It definitely breathes. Thats nice I mean sure beats sweating up a storm right?"

Flash has posed:
Flash laughs, "Well, I /am/ a member of the Justice League. So, I guess I do?"

"It looks good! It's made to withstand the heat of re-entry from space, so I don't think you will have any more problems with your clothes burning off. It's made of the same material mine is made of. I developed it a while ago due to reasons you are familiar with. It needed to be flexible so it didn't hinder movement, but durable. And yes, breathable. Take advantage of the wind to regulate the temperature. We are air cooled."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles, "Definitely makes things nice. I think I need to really see what this thing can do! Also, thanks for not making it high heeled. I have trouble walking in heels, Running in them... That takes a woman to be feared. Oh and I do love purple so! Yay!"

"Must be something to be a part of a team like that. I mean I'm going to be teaching next month but thats not exactly a part of a team. Thats just being a teacher."

Flash has posed:
Flash says, "Heals never even occurred to me. I wouldn't think of trying to run in them, ever. No traction." says Barry with a arch of his brow. "I can't even imagine that. That would be a super power all on its own."

"Being part of the League is nice, sure. There is a camaraderie there, and I know I can call on any of them in a time of need, just like they can call on me. It's unfortunate that there are things out there that require a team like us to handle, though. I would much rather not have to have the League at all, truth be told. But, it is what it is.""

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva nods, "Yeah, that does make sense. I'd hate to think of what the world would be like without the league though. Even though ya wish it wasn't needed, it is. Sometimes there is a necessity. Just like there is a necessity for Hunters. Sure they are a grey area and the umm, Police person in you, would definitely want most of them arrested because of the needs of the job. None of us want to do the job, most of us would like to have a a regular, apple pie life. Have a 9-5 job that doesn't involve some really nasty stuff." She shrugs.

Flash has posed:
Flash nods, chuckling. "When I am not running around as super speed, I actually am a cop. Well, kind of. Police Scientist. I work for the Central City PD...so your not wrong about my cop side."

He grins, shrugging a shoulder. "But I understand. I mean, some of the things Batman does aren't exactly 'police legal' either."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles to Flash and nods, "Sadly some of the stuff I've done is definitely illegal. Things including Grave Desicration, Petty theft, Stole a car once, oh and my personal favorite, Ripping off Credit card companies. This was before everything changed though. I like to think that when I wound up in the Speed Force, that other person sorta died. I've been pretty clean since then. Only took a few Vamp heads and dug a grave up to torch some bones." At least she's honest!

Flash has posed:
"I can't fault your for that. The later stuff, anyway." says Barry with a shrug. "The credit card fraud, well...not my department." He smiles somewhat weakly, "At least that stuff seems to be mostly behind you. Speaking off...you mentioned me coming to talk at your school sometime. I should do that."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles, "I had a talk with the Vice Principal of the school. Her name is Jean. She's actually the one who hired me. She is alright with you coming by and alright with you speaking at the school. It'll be fun."

Then she shrugs a little. "To be fair, they were more criminal then I was. Trying to give a 40% rate to people?" She shakes her head. "They got what they deserve if you ask me but, I'm not a judge." She giggles.

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles and lifts his hands in a gesture of submission, "I can't argue that point, so I won't even try." says Barry. "It is amazing how they get away with that."

"Jean, huh? Well, let he know I would be happy to. Just let me know when she would like me to come, and I will make the time for it."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva nods, "Will do. I'll talk to her when I get back." She smiles a little. "Umm Also, that would be capitalism at work. They can get away with it because they are allowed to." She smirks in a playful manner. "Anyway I do gotta say, working at the school is like hanging out in a strange world. Its kinda cool."

"I do gotta say, I'm starting to feel much more confident with the speed thing. Mach 3 isn't so bad. Now that I'm not going to burn up my clothes I might see if I can go faster. Its like I can it when I'm running. The Speed Force has this feeling to it. If I didn't know better I'd want to try to get back there. Plus there is that speed. Thats an addiction in itself. Running to Tokyo for Taiyaki? YUM!"

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles. "Oh, yeah. It certainly doesn't hurt being able to run anywhere and get something you have a craving for. I've been known to run to Italy for some gelato on occasion." He grins and stand up, brushing the sand of of his pants.

He reaches into a hidden pocket and produces a card. "Here, in case you ever need to get a hold of me. It's my card from the CCPD. Let me know when you want me at the school."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva reaches into her cooler and pulls out her phone. She is moving as fast as the phone will process. She quickly writes Barry's name in and his number. "There. Congrats, you're my first non-hunter contact." She sickers and slips the phone into one of her belt pockets. "Okay, these are priceless. Sure beats shoving my phone in my uniform and trying to find it when it rings." She smiles a little bit.

"OooO! I've not done that one yet! Yesterday I ran to upstate New York for the best Indian food in the USA. Was really good! Though I guess now that I can, maybe I need to expand my flavor pallet."

Flash has posed:
Flash laughs, "You want good Indian food, you should take a run to India. Nothing beats the real thing." says Barry with a smile. "You just have to make sure you find a place that speaks English...unless you happen to speak Hindu. But, really, the world is now open to your palate. Just have to be able to afford it, and know how to order."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva Nods, "Well, Maybe I will sit in on some classes. I know I need to get faster if I am going to do that. An hour long run cross country, While fun, still takes a while. I know I'm getting faster. Any advice you can give me?" She asks with a smile.

She cracks her back and looks out across the water. "Hmmm, Do you ever trip on the waves?" She asks curiously. "I mean it would be awkward." She has to laugh over the whole thing.

Flash has posed:
Flash nods. "I call that skipping stone syndrome. It's no fun, and depending on how fast you are going at the time, you can be sliding on your butt for quite some time." says Barry with a chortle. "Then it just becomes a really fast swim."

"As far as getting faster....train. Practice. It will come naturally. Just don't try to push yourself to fast to soon, or you might end up doing something like travel through time on accident."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva nods, "You mentioned Time Travel before. I actually was talking about that to some friends at the school. I warned against it but, I'm the rookie. It could be really dangerous I think. Too much could go wrong." She laughs, "Then there was that cartoon where the one guy became his own grandpa... Thats just... really messed up."

She laughs a little. "Yeah that would be bad. Swimming is not exactly something I enjoy but sliding on water would be a little hard to explain." She listens and nods, "I'm going to keep getting faster, keep training. Its fun at least right?"

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles, "Well, I suppose that all depends on your definition of fun, Eva. To some running a marathon is fun, to others it is not so much. But yeah, I think it is fun. There are tricks I an try and teach you to do with the speed you can attain, like being able to phase through solid matter or create a vortex of wind. But basics first, get comfortable with your speed before you go exploring what you can do with it."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva blinks, "I think I did that one once. I think I actually managed to phase once. It was weird. Wait! you can do that? I mean I figured by running around in circles but is there another way?" She is as curious os a school girl now. She'd have a tablet out to take notes if she had one that wasn't almost a quarter of the planet away.

Flash has posed:
Flash says, "Same principle as running in circles, but you just move your arms in small circles." says Barry with the shrug of his shoulder. "Faster you do it, the more powerful the vortex.""

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles, "May as well try it!" She plants her feet and faces the ocean. At lease she is trying to not kick up ALL sand. She starts making small circles with her arm. She quickly begins speeding up, Slowly the wind picks up and water is pulled up from the ocean, not to mention sand. "Ooof! This would be nasty if someone was in it. They'd be getting one nasty storm wouldn't they?" She slows and lets the storm desist.

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles and nods, "Yeah, that's kind of the point I think." says Barry with a grin. "You can also use them to buffer yourself from a fall from a great height, and if you angle them just right you can 'kind of' fly. Though it isn't worth the effort."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva snickers, "Yeah. Though could be useful. Could cushion someone else from falling too. There are plenty of uses. it would be really tough to slow down something big or keep something big from landing... or crashing." She shutters at that thought. "So how does the whole phasing thing work exactly."

Flash has posed:
Flash says, "It takes a lot of effort, but it can be done. Just expect to be tucked out by the end of it, if you are going for an air cushion for something overly large. As for phasing...the best way I can describe it is moving the molecules of your body so fast, that you 'slip' between the molecules of the thing you are moving though. Not all speedsters can vibrate their individual molecules to do it, so if you already have then you have that fine level of control.""

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva hmms. "Well the time I did it before was really an accident. I just started shaking my whole body and that happened. It also made my voice sound funky which was super cool! Anyway... I can't even remember why I was doing that. It was just really strange." She thinks. "I guess I could do it again maybe. I dunno?"

Flash has posed:
With a roll of his shoulder, the Flash says "If you were able to do it once on accident, you are likely able to do it again. It may just take time and practice in order to consciously do it at will." He reaches out a shoulder and places it on Eva's shoulder gently. "Don't push things. It took me years to figure out all the tricks of the trade. You will probably be able to do more as time progresses."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva smiles a little, "I discovered what happens when running on walls! Its crazy! Running on a wall is just... well I mean I can feel gravity pulling me but its like saying, 'Nope! Forget you gravity, I do what I want!'" She laughs playfully. "You're right. I actually feel good about what I can do at least. Sure, I'm still growing and stuff but I think I got pretty good control over a lot of it."

Flash has posed:
Flash nods. "Most everything is just a variation on what you already know. The building blocks to be tweaked and used in different ways. As you figure out what you can do, and your limits, you will be able to experiment and figure how to use your speed for other effects. Just remember, everything about us is fast. It took me a long time to realize that even our brains can be sped up to a point where we can think faster...which is remarkable since speed thought it pretty damned fast. But sync your brain up to the Speed Force, and watch things slow down to a point where you can almost see all probable outcomes of how things may happen in the next few seconds."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva blinks, "Thats what was happening when I came out of the speed force. I was slowing everything down and it was just crazy! Its hard to keep from doing that. Its like my mind wants to go that speed. Also sometimes when I touch someone they speed up too? Is that normal?"

Flash has posed:
Flash nods. "I remember, when I pulled you out." Barry smiles, stretching his arms over his head, "If I have learned anything, it is not to try and place the word 'normal' on any of this." he says with a chuckle, "But no, not everyone has the ability to transfer the Speed Force to others. Not that there are a whole lot of us for a scientific study as to what is the general set of abilities for us."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva nods, "I will try my best to not do that. Don't get me wrong, Being a speedster is fun but I would hate for people to wind up stuck like I was. You're probably right though. I mean, Normal went out the window the day I found out that the things that I was told didn't exist actually do exist and they wanted to pretty much kill everyone. So who am I to say what is normal?"

Flash has posed:
Flash says, "If it happens, likelihood is that if you can grant the Speed Force to them it will be temporary, or you can also drain it from them, much like I drained it from you to slow you down." says Barry with a smile. "So, don't fret to much over it. It's not like it is a disease that is contagious."

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva laughs, "If it is a disease, I really don't like how it spreads. Getting hit by lightning is not so much fun. It didn't help that I got it twice in that fight." She shutters. "Oh! Another question! Do you forget things easier? I don't mean to forget anything but when I speed read and stuff it just is harder for me to keep it in mind ya know?"

Flash has posed:
Flash smirks. "Yeah, that would be a bad symptom. Let's hope lightning strikes don't start to occur on a more frequent basis."

"Forget things? I can't say that I do, no. Is that something that happens to you often?"

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva shakes her head, "Its weird. ITs only when I read something really fast that I forget it quicker. If I slow myself down and try to do things at a steady pace I retain it better. Its hard to explain you know?"

Flash has posed:
Flash says, "No, I think I understand. I just can't say I have experienced that as a side effect." Barry says with a smile. "Sorry, I can't help you with that one. Maybe your brain just isn't able to absorb and retain information gained at that speed.""

Eva (170) has posed:
Eva shrugs, "Maybe its still adjusting. I dunno yet." She sighs. "Maybe I just need to actually train it like a muscle." She shakes it off. "Well, I should probably get back to Westchester. Thank you Barry, I mean Flash. I feel much more confident. I haven't mastered anything but hey, I know I can help out now." She quickly darts around and gets ready to go. "Oh!!! How do I puts my suit or clothes in the ring?"

Flash has posed:
Flash chuckles, "Here, let me show you how this all works." Barry takes the ring, and shows Eva how to shrink down the suit into the ring, then release it again. "It reacts with the energy the speed force puts out."

Eva (170) has posed:
"Ohhh!" Eva smiles a little. "Okay that is awesome! So to change, do this!" She takes off, the speed force coursing through her. The uniform springs out and she quickly is dressed. "Okay It will take practice but I think I can handle this." She takes off running around. In a matter of seconds the cooler is gone, a few wrapped sandwiches are left there for the Flash as well as a drink or two. She's got a few ready for herself. "I put my other clothes in my belt so, there is that at least." She giggles, "Have a good one Flash, Be safe out there. I'm off." She gives a little salute and then, she's off across the water.

Flash has posed:
Flash grins. "Take care, Eva. I'm sure I will see you around. Don't hesitate to calm if you need anything."

Once she runs off, Barry replaces the cowl onto his head, gathers the sandwiches left for him, and starts on his way home, comping at one of the sandwiches on the way.
