Cast of Characters: Willow Rosenberg, Zach Daniels

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
It was a lovely day! The sun was in the air. A gentle breeze was blowing. It was the perfect June 1. And because it was also the first day of Pride Month, she had taken the afternoon off. She found a beautiful nook underneath an apple tree, and was pulling out her lunch, humming to herself.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach's soaring up in the sky, enjoying the warmth and the weather. Looking down on Apple Park, Zach decides hey, why not check out what's going on? So he descends and lands neatly, tucking his wings around himself under his jacket (zipped up) and just watches everything for a moment. It's not hard to note the all black wearing fallen angel that was flying a few moments ago. Oh, yes....he's not hard to miss.

And he's got a granola bar in hand, chewing on it. Looking over the trees he spots the nook of the tree and Willow, walking over with a wave.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Two peanut butter sandwiches. A handful of carrots. A few chocolate chip cookies. And one orange pop. Check! Pleased with herself, she settles under the limbs of the apple tree and watches the world go by. As Zach comes into the picture, she smiles, and waves her hands. "Hello! I didn't expect you. Have you eaten lunch? I could give you some.. oh, wait. Do you like peanut butter?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach tilts his head looking to Willow and smiles returning the wave as he jogs over and nods. "Peanut butter sandwiches? And carrots, and.......cookies and an orange bottle?" Zach asks as if inspecting Willow's food choices. "I only have granola bars, but if you don't mind sharing your food I can share granola bars" Zach offers, "Mind if I join you?" he adds and stays put, listening, waiting on a response from Willow.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Deal," Willow says. "Are the granola bars with nuts?" She makes pleasant talk over his contributions. "We could share the pop, if you don't mind sharing germs?" She beams. "How are you today?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach sits, and unfurls his wings trailing them around him nodding to Willow. "No they don't have any nuts" he says and digs in his pocket for more granola bars, unzipping the jacket. "I'm good, I was flying earlier"

So. Normal day for Zach then, fly around, see what he can get up to and he's certainly found Willow. Shaking his wings a little he nods, "So what're you up to?"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"I'm going to say you do wonderfully when you fly." Of course, she hasn't seen them! "I'm learning. But say don't have wings." Willow gives him a peanut butter sandwich, and put the carrots sticks between them. "Do you know any other tricks?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach smiles. "I left my crossbow and sword at home, I can throw my sword and make a kebab" Zach offers, biting into the sandwich, waving it like a sword, though he puts it down and goes for a carrot stick. That's more sword like...really. Zach grins, "I've got my bike, too, I can do tricks on that too" he says, waving the carrot stick around like a sword then he bites into it. "What bout you?" he adds with curiosity in his gaze, "Also peanut butter is good"

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Me? Oh I do a bit of magic." She's used to glossing over it, especially people who used a sword or crossbow! "You should meet my friend Buffy, she's always looking for sparring partners. Let me guess, you shoot the crossbow while up in the air?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
"Yes, actually" Zach says with a smile. "Magic is..." he pauses, not sure what to say to the idea of magic. On the one hand, it's amazing. On the other....well....he's kind of unsure about it.Looking to Willow, Zach looks pleased. "As in healing and things?" he asks taking a wild guess at just what Willow does magic wise. Still, he looks puzzled by the idea of Willow trying to get him to spar with anyone. "Oh no no it wouldn't be fair if I was sparring with anyone if I can fly and they don't. Unless...." Zach says chewing on the sandwich. "Unless maybe I can take them flying too?" he asks, with a hopeful look to Willow.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Healing? No. I mean, I never tried it, but usually magic you don't say 'I want to learn healing' and boom. It's not like that. I'm particularly good with scrying. Warding. Ritual magic. Oh, but you can't know, but I use force lighting. It's really neat!" Willow's eyes light up. "I like magic. But why? You use swords, don't you? On the ground. Besides, what if they needed to practice that? The can't actually say 'hey, bad guys, how about you practice with us a little bit' now can they?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach watches with awe. "Lightning?" he asks. "Like you got your own storm?" Zach asks watching Willow with an impressed look while chewing on peanut butter sandwich still, as if it's his way of coping with all this. "I use a sword or crossbow on the ground but I prefer flying, it just feels....right" he offers, nibbling on the crusts looking a little put off by the crusts, though he's licking at them.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"I bet Buffy would like to spar across from someone who uses flight. Sometimes our enemies take flight, really. But I won't make you. I mean, maybe you want people for who they are, not what you do." She munched a carrot stick. "What else do you do? I'm at the University of Gotham. Don't worry, I won't bore you." Yeah, she was beginning to notice not everyone wanted to talk about this with her.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach nods, "I could spar but that is what I was meant to do, I was meant to fight but I want to see the world and all it has to offer" Zach adds, shifting his wings a little as he talks. "There's so much to see isn't there? I've heard of Gotham and its university" he adds and looks pleased. "See, what do I do? Not a lot, just explore and see what's going on, fight if I need to and look out for my friends. That's the important things in life, yes?" he asks.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Buffy is like that. Well she beats the enemy to save her friends. Actually, we deal with them, to keep from realizing all the bad exists. We did it in high school, and when we went away, we found there was so much more." Willow quirks her head to the side. "I help some. Lately I'm also with the Justice League. It's pretty much the same things, except, there are more vampires in Sunnydale." She laughs.

"I just came back from England. It was wonderful. Everything is different over there, and so the same. It's weird."

Zach Daniels has posed:
"England sounds so beautiful. I never got to go there" Zach says wistfully. "I could fly though, but...there's so much here to see. Ah so you're a bit like me. I was raised and created to fight evil. That didn't go to plan" he says and decides fine, just....grin, bear it, eat the crusts, they aren't all bad. Picking a carrot stick, he chews on it while pondering his next words.

"So you as a team fight evil?" he asks once his mouth is empty. "That's like me, we, angels"

Way to out what you....were, Zach.

"We worked together but I fell, so they say. I like it much better here than up there" he says waving off in the vague direction of the sky, "There's more to do here anyhow, that's why I like it so much. Plus you guys are here"

Oh, oh, there's a tiny pause between you and guys. Like he was more meaning Willow's here

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"Probably that was the first and last I'll get to see it. I drunk it up.. well, I went everywhere. I don't know who used that phrase, weird." Willow opens her mouth, but closes it. "Oh."

She's quiet for a minute, then..

"In, the Bible, the angels are neither good nor bad. Yahweh is incomprehensible to us. But, that's not what you mean. Is it?" She looks solemn. "I can't fix it for you? Humans spend their whole existence wondering if they got it right. I think if you are thinking like that, you are finding the truth?" Willow smiles gently. "We can help you, well, hold your hand. But if you gotta do it by yourself."

It looks like she missed the pause, but her cheeks are aflame.

Zach Daniels has posed:
Zach looks pleased and nods. "Correct, angels were neither good or bad. I was left down here" Zach offers, then reaches for a cookie. hey she said if they needed to hold his hand,..alright, a hand that's going for a cookie but still, still....

"You'd hold my hand...I....I mean...." he says, his own cheeks scarlet now as well. Great, open mouth, insert wings, chew on metaphorical feathers, Zach...just spell it out with feathers at this rate, yes he likes Willow, she's nice to him.

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Willow caught his embarrassment, "I meant figuratively." Her cheeks still flare, but now for another reason. "Do you like the cookies? I baked them." She quickly hides her head in a cookie. Mmm, chocolate chip.

Zach Daniels has posed:
"They are good" Zach says as he looks to Willow. "You baked these? They are good, but they could use more chocolate and cookie, in other wordds would you bake more?" he askss not hiding his face. "Oh, oh you didn't mean literally. Okay" he says sounding a little crestfallen but these cookies are good. "So is there a trick to making cookies?

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
Now she laughs, "No no, I wanted your honest opinion. Everytime a tweak the recipe. I guess I'm not going to be with potions, huh? I thought baking would help me." Willow scrunched up her face. "But they are pretty good, if I say so myself!" A pause. "Bigger and more chocolate chips?"

Zach Daniels has posed:
"Oh I can gladly help you tweak cookie recipes" Zach offers. Sure, be a willing guinea pig for Willow's cookie baking, why not

Willow Rosenberg has posed:
"It's a deal!" Willow remembers, "You might need my address. If you mean it."
