Nightwing has posed:
The burgers were certainly great and the company might have been even a little bit better. And while there are probably no shortage of things going on in New York City this evening that could use a little of their attention, it is not very often that Dick has any sort of a social life these days. There are no shortage of heroes in the city. They can probably handle things just fine for one night.

He is not exactly up on the club scene these days. Not unless there is something illicit going on at one of them anyways. And okay, there might be a couple of those, but they are across town from here. Still, it doesn't take the dark haired young man to find something that looks suitable on his phone, falling in beside her as he walks the streets. "Let me know when you're ready to call it a night. I don't want to monopolize your time. But you're pretty good company, so..." he notes with a smile as he points out a building up a head, the sound of music flooding out onto the street everytime someone opens the door.

Dagger has posed:
"I tend to sleep all day and stay up all night fighting crime. I'm good for a few more hours." Tandy says with a grin to him. "And your company is something I need, desperately .. for a long time. Not that Cloak is a bad guy, but he's so intense and focused on our mission, that .. it's easy to lose track of who I am." As they walk, she sobers up a bit, then bites her bottom lip for a moment.

Slowly, her hand reaches out to slide into his, fingers curling about for a squeeze, followed by a burst of warm light that passes between them. As he points out the club, her smile brightens and she tilts her chin upwards. "Yeah? You ready?" She asks as she gives his hand a bit of a tug. "I promise to not show you up."

Nightwing has posed:
It's not always easy living in the shadows. He knows a little something like that. And obsessive partners. So when she slips her hand into his he just gives her a smile, fingers squeezing a little before turning back to the local club, pace picking up just a little bit. "Glad to know that I'm decent company," he says with a low chuckle. "And believe me, I know how it goes," he assures her quietly. Another thing they have in common.

Glancing up and down the street before trotting across it, still hand in hand, Dick flashes her a grin at that promise, tilting his head slightly. "Uh huh..." he says, tone both playful and dubious. "We'll see," he says lightly before offering another warm smile. "You do what comes naturally. If that means letting loose, well, you're already pointed out that there are definite perks even so," he says, the bouncer out front holding open the door and waving them through.

Dagger has posed:
"As long as you have a good time." Tandy says as she steps in through the doors, holding him by the hand. It doesn't appear she plans on letting it go. As the music hits them like a shockwave, coupled with the flashing strobe of lights dancing around, she lets out a happy noise in her throat as she sways side to side a bit to find the rhythm and the beat.

With a glance over her shoulder, she tugs on his hand, pulling into him the seat of writhing bodies. With her blue eyes locking on his, she starts to move through the music, starting slow, but then picking it up as the beat rumbles through the speakers. The way she moves, it's like poetry. She just flows perfectly as she spins and twirls, letting her arms glide upwards to cross at her wrists at times.

"I love this!" She calls out with pure joy in her throat, closing her eyes for a moment as she gives another spin, letting out a flicker of dazzling light from her fingers into the dark, hidden by the strobes.

Nightwing has posed:
Who knew the clubbing would be so much like combat? There is just a flood of light and noise and seeming chaose everywhere. All sorts of bodies, all sorts of obstructions packed into close proximity, all doing their own thing. Definitely a little bit like some of the night's he has experienced on the streets of Bludhaven or Gotham. Though hopefully his life isn't in much of a threat here.

He doesn't have a hard time keeping up, following her into the club and almost immediately out onto the dance floor where the press of people are the thickest. He might not be a dancer by practice or inclination but he is both athletic and graceful enough to be a decent one. He moves with the music, keeping that dark-eyed gaze locked on her own, letting himself feel the rhythm of the music as well.

"I can tell," he calls back, words almost lost in the beat of the music, little grin sliding across his features as he gives her a moment to just let loose, to maybe find a little bit of what she has been missing.

Dagger has posed:
As she whirls through the music, Tandy shows off the years, and /years/, and /thousands/ of hours she has dedicated to her craft. Ballet is a lot like popmusic. There are sharp movements, graceful leaps from side to side and quick, well timed spins designed to synch up with the beat.

Reaching up, she unties her hair, letting the blonde, thick coils fall out along her shoulders to bounce and tousle. She looks like a true angel of light out there, one with a rock and roll soul. Her hand reaches out to grab his, pulling him up closer against her as the sea of bodies mash them together.

"Hey. I need you closer." She says with a panting breath as her other arm curls about his neck.

Nightwing has posed:
If the way she talked about it wasn't clear enough earlier, certainly the sight of her twirling and moving out there on the crowded dance floor would be more then enough to show off the fact that her feelings for dance are very much like his for that thrill of flying through the air, to taking to the trapeze or simply letting loose and trusting to his own skill to see him through.

It is impossible not to admire her, as she lets loose like that -- and he is hardly alone in that as many different eyes turn her way as she puts on her little clinic, shows the masses how it's done. And then he is back with her, pulled out onto the floor, working to meet her rhythm, bodies pressed close as he lets his hands settle on her hips. The display might not be quite so athletic, but it has it's very own appeal. "My pleasure."

Dagger has posed:
It doesn't matter how well or poorly he dances, Tandy is just apprecaiting the chance to have a partner. As his hands slide around her hips, her own curl about his neck. She gives him a welcomed grin as she moves with him, this time in a more back and forth sway. Not quite a slow dance, but one peppered with pace and energy.

As she pulls him closer, she leans in and pushes her cheek against his shoulder, giving a happy smile. "You're not that bad. You can move." Her fingers tousle his hair a bit before settling down around his shoulders. "Having fun?"

Nightwing has posed:
While he might not be quite in her league, he's definitely not bad and he dips his head towards her with a little grin. "High praise coming from you," he murmurs, close enough now that he can trust to be heard over the beat of the music.Who knows, he might pick up a few pointers. Like any other skill, it is likely to get better with practice, instead of relying simply on raw athleticism.

As she leans in, he draws her in a little closer, one hand slipping about her to settle on the small of her back, keeping time with the music without too much energy. "And I am. It definitely beats what I likely would have been up to otherwise," he admits before winking at her. "And you weren't wrong about the jealous stares," he teases lightly.

Dagger has posed:
"I'm sure the jealous stares are going both ways." Tandy says as she lets out a heavy breath as he continues to sway with him. She keeps this up through the next song before it finally tapers off. With a smile, she leans in to him, bumping her nose up against his before she says softly, her panting, warm breath against his lips. "I need some water."

With that, she leans back with a sly smile, gliding her hand down into his again as she looks to lead him away from the floor and towards the bar. She is glowing, literally, glistneing with sweat as the sea parts for her. Over her eye, a cresent moon burns.

It's obvious this girl is amped up.

Nightwing has posed:
A slow grin slides back over his face as she leans in close, the corners of his mouth twitching ever so slightly but he doesn't hesitate to slip his hand back into hers and make his way over to the bar in her wake. "I could use a drink too. And I didn't expend anywhere near the energy you did," he admits with a low laugh, giving those fingers a squeeze before leaning up against the bar, waiting for one of the the bartender to notice them, make their way over.

Even with all the sights and sounds the bar offers, his attention is pretty focused on her. Understandably so. So it is pretty much impossible to miss the glow that lights up her features and he leans in close, lips next to her ear. "Someone's glowing," he murmurs lightly.

Dagger has posed:
As she stares at him in return, Tandy's eyes are unwavering. When he leans in close, she lets out a soft breath she was holding in her throat, then gives a glance down towards her hands. She focuses for a moment, killing the light all together before anyone starts to gossip or stare too much. When the tender comes over, she orders them both a bottle of water, passing over some crumbled bills to pay for them.

Twisting the cap off, she takes a sip, then brushes the bottle down along her cheek and neck to feel the chill of the bottle in an attempt to bring her fever pitch down. Her hand gives his another squeeze, winding her fingers up with his. "You're kinda glowing too, Dick." She says, brows lifting upwards.

"Let me know if you want a round two, or maybe to just find a table and order some snacks."
