How to free a Pixie...or a hundred.

Synopsis:	Megan visits Morgana about freeing the pixies from the enchanted sword.

Pixie has posed:
It's a nice sunny spring day, perfect for an afternoon hike. But that's not the reason why Megan is here, perched upon a cliff side overlooking a large pond, crystal sword in one hand as she peers around with a soft sigh. She hadn't seen Morgana since the battle in the never never, and she was worried. Moreso, she wasn't sure how to free the fairies or her soul dagger without her help.

Which is why she is here, trying to focus on Morgana, Hopi g that with the pixie filled sword, and her own connection to the fae Queen, perhaps she will find Megan, one way or the other..

"Come on, Morgana, where are you?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana's had time to heal up in Avalon, true, true, but....she's still groggy and not at full strength. Instead she's aware of Pixie's call...but currently can't do much....aside from sit and know Pixie wants her help. Morgana's not a very pleased fae, any...mostly since right now, she can't get to Pixie any. She's too weak, thank you using up all her magic.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn closes her eyes, trying to focus on Morgana again. "Morgana, tell me where you are..Please, I need you!" if she's in a bad enough condition, it's possible she's back in Avalon, resting up, but..Megan's only been there once, would she be able to find it again? "Sihal..Novarum..Chinoth!" she calls, opening a portal, which hopefully leads to the right place and not some super spooky alternate dimension...

Morgana le Fay has posed:
There's plenty of ground in Avalon to pick from, but given Morgana's power, well, she's sort of a beacon for Megs t try homing in on. Mostly since right now, Morgana is, if anything, coiled up under a blanket. Her magic takes a toll on her after all, and...she's looking sickly and not too well, but she's still inately powerful after all. It's like traveling on a cloud of iron filings and Morgana's a magnet.

Which is to say, she's easy to find if anyone knows where to look or is looking for her...but actually getting to Morgana? Different story.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn steps through the portal, finding herself in Morgana's bedroom in Avalon no doubt, and she swallows, glancing around. Wow she really is a queen but where are her servants and..? She looks to the bed and swallows, stepping closer. "Morgana? That you? Are..Are you okay..?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
For all her splendor and grace, Morgana is, well, she's still Morgana, and weak currently. She raises a hand to beckon Megan over.

"I will be fine" she says reassuringly, "I will be fine"

Not often anyone gets into Morgana's room. "Did....did you need something?" Morgana asks, watching Megan quietly as she brushes her hair from her face and sits up in the bed, Morgana looking to Megan for a moment more.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn frowns, glancing between Morgana and the sword and swallows, "Umm...Welll...I suppose it can wait but.." the sword glows intently, sparks flying from the tip. Morgana can sense the powerful unstable magic is of both the pixies trapped within and the soul dagger at the top. She doesn't need to say aloud that it's unstable, that it would be dangerous to carry it around any longer. "Will you be..Okay,.?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Pixie gets a slow nod from Morgana as she looks over to the sword then over to Megan quietly. "I'll be fine" she says reaching a hand out. "Now, about that sword..." Morgana says, watching Pixie.

"Now. Have you brought the sword for me to keep or inspect?" Morgana asks. It'll go good in her library, sure, but, but...

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn frowns, hesitating as she looks at the sword then back to Morgana, shaking her head slowly. "I need you to free the pixies trapped in the sword..As well as my soul dagger.." she points at the tip. "But in your condition...I'm not sure if it's safe.." she wouldn't want her to exhaust herself. She might just weaken herself more, even die..

But then she gets and idea and smiles, offering it up to her. "Here, hold it for a sec...It contains the magic of hundreds of pixies. if you can tap into it, you can use it to fully heal yourself..Just be careful, it's growing unstable."

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana's unsure on this one, really. She's known not to take random magic artifacts that could backfire, but at the same time, it's powerful and sates her desire for power, to a point. She reaches a hand out for the sword.

Pixie has posed:
The sword seems to glitter and hum with a life of its own, but when Morgana takes it it does not go berserk. if anything it seems to calm down, maybe even already sending out magic to heal her wounds and lend her strength. given she is the fae queen of avalon and helped many of these pixies it's safe to say they have accepted her. But wow, such power, albeit still unstable.

Megan watches worriedly. "So? how does it feel? can you use a spell to break the prison that holds them inside along with my dagger?" though it likely will take time, she may even need Megan's help.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
"I....don't know" Morgana offers, looking a little worried. "I don't know if I can or not. This is powerful magic but it seems to respond to my touch and power at least" morgana offeers ith a look to Pixie. "I....don't know and that sword has pixies in it? I need to read up on this and see what my library tells me"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks slowly, peering between Morgana and the sword. "Oh no...Really? um, how long do you think that'll take? even without the goblin prince's influence over me, and without my soul dagger, I may stay like this forever and never go back to normal.." she shivers, hugging her arms, "If I stay like this too long, I may succumb to darkness again.."

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana's quiet for a few moments, then she sighs. "I don't know" she says, toying with the idea of asking Pixie, fellow fae, to help. Oh yeah that'll be safe. "I think we need to work together on this" Morgana says. "I can ask one of my fae to seek you out with anything relavent?" she adds and looks thoughtful for a second before she wraps herself in a towel and climbs out of bed, donning her robe. "Come with me" she says. Destination? A reading room. Where....yes....reading takes place!

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn blinks slowly, eyeing the sword again. she's seen its potential and it scared her, but she's determined to help Morgana. "Of course I'll help! just tell me what to do.." she follows her once she gets out of bed, "You know, I was kinda hoping that maybe you'd take me on to...to be your apprentice, maybe?" she bites her lip, uncertain if Morgana would be open to the idea, "I mean you have a lot to teach me and there's sooo much I wanna know!"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana listens quietly. "I could take you on, yes if you're of legal age" she considers, walking the halls. She looks over to Pixie and gestures to an ornate room with chairs. Morgana settles in one, being brought tea. "What would you like?" Morgana asks Pixie

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn grins and nods, "Heey I'm already put 18, I'm totally legal she so no worries there!" she peers around the room curiously, "Wooow it's beautiful! do you live here all alone? Do you have servants? What about other faeries? I'll bet you get lots of suitors!" she giggles as she peers around at this and that. "Umm just Jasmine tea is good with lots of sugar!" she says brightly before looking back at Morgana, taking a seat. "So what kinda of things can you teach me?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana listens. "I could offer you, hmm...." she says sipping her tea, ordering Pixie's/ With lots of sugar. Looking over to the mutant fairy Morgana looks amused for a moment. "I get suitors? I...." she says and puts her tea down giggling. "Oh, I do not get many suitors. Avalon is far away" she adds and resumes sipping her tea. Pixie assumed Morgana gets suitors. See, that's too amusing to Morgana.

"Other fairies? I share Avalon with my people, and others" she nodss with a quiet smile.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn beams, taking a seat after looking around lots, "Yay! I'm sooo happy I met you! I know some people don't trust you but you're kin as far as I'm concerned. so, it's okay, right?" she sighs, peering around, sipping the tea thoughtfully, "Gee that's too bad, it must get lonely here..I'll bet lots of these faeries might wanna stay with you. oh, we discovered that the faerie queen is alive and well but she's still recovering. But at least the goblin prince is no longer a threat.."

She smiles, "So how long you think it might take to break the spell on this sword?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana regards Pixie over her tea cup and through steam watching Pixier with a quiet smile. "Give me time" she says, "I've no clue currently and haven't started looking over the sword"

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn sighs, "Geez not too long I hope, don't have a lot of time..And the sword is unstable but I guess it can't be helped. What can I do to help? Will you be strong enough to pull this off?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Pixie gets a slight smile. "I don't think the sword is entirely dangerous" Morgana says. True, she's had weirder and just as odd things in her library. Instead she looks over to Megan and gazes into her tea as if it'll magically reveal secrets. Setting the cup down, Morgana gets up and heads for the door. She'll start her work on the sword as soon ass her fellow fae is home safely. Because iff anything happens to Pixie as a result of Morgana's actions, that'll be on her conscience and mind.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn nods, "Well in the right hands it should be safe. I guess a lot of people still mistrust you and think you might corrupt me, but I trust you..I'm sure you will find a way to release those faeries rather than keep them trapped to be used as a powerful weapon.." ok maybe she's going out on a limb here and maybe she's too naive and trusting..But just maybe she's right in believing in Norgana..lHopefully.."

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Trusting the Queen of Avalon? Morgana will take it. Perhaps, perhaps Morgana's regarded as evil and cruel and manipulative and cold, but she's different here in her lands, her true home. Looking over Pixie Morgana nods regally. "Maybe. Just maybee, they're wrong about her?

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn smiles, "I mean I dont get it, according to legend, weren't you the rightful ruler of Avalon? Its..It's not like you..Betrayed or killed anyone to get here, right?" ok, so there are many versions of the Morgan leFay story, and some paint her in a more flattering light than others. Clearly Megan has not read some of the less..Favourable stories.

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana's not explaining that one. No, not when she has Pixie's trust. She'd hate to shatter that trust really as Morgana looks to the doorway for a moment. "Were you hoping to stay here or?" she asks looking over the reading room.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn oohs, peering around some more, "Umm well, since you're pretty tired, it might be good to have a trusty helper to assist you, even if it is just to dust the shelves!" she giggles, "Of course you have servants, but do you have a great magical protege with lots of potential? I'm sure I could be a great help and would love to learn more about Avalon, so how about it?"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
Morgana just.....stares at Pixie. "Did you just suggest" she asks, "You'd be a glorified maid? Hardly" she says and looks confused. "For one, my shelves hold books and things. And two. Nobody cleans those shelves without knowing what's on them"

Mostly since Morgana can keep track of what is where in her library.

Pixie has posed:
Megan Gwynn pouts a bit and shakes her head, "But but...! I wanna help! And, maybe if I can help you then you'll help me and teach me proper magic stuff! I just learned magic history mostly at Strange Academy, and I really wanna learn more than just magic theory..!"

Morgana le Fay has posed:
"It is" Morgana says slowly. "Worth considering"

A protege would be useful, Morgana's welll aware of it. Though she is well aware of the cost, too....and she's uncertain Pixie would pay that price.
