Synopsis: Summary needed
Cast of Characters: Aquaman, Wonder Woman

Aquaman has posed:
The Justice League communicators go off, Arthur, also known as Aquaman is requesting assistance in the Pacific Ocean.

It is an idyllic day in paradise on this small unnamed tropical island, the sun is high in the sky, clear and blue as far as the eye can see, warm and maybe a little muggy. In the shallows just off a picturesque beach, a portal opens by the power of Poseidon's Trident, allowing transport from Metropolis to this remote island and through it steps Arthur into the warm, waist depth water, crossing the short distance from water to beach.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana had been 'home' this past weekend, back to the Paradise Island... and she'd received the call while just underway in her personal jet. Seated in one of the three main chairs inside of the jet, Diana wasn't flying... one of her other Amazonian sisters was... she'd learned to fly the jet some time ago and she took much pride in being the escort to the Princess in this fashion.

"We will go." Diana had told her pilot and sister.

It didn't take too long for the 'Invisible Jet' to get to Arthurs location, and when it did arrive he'd be able to hear the scream of the engines in the sky above him... and merely moments later, Diana could be seen descending from the beautiful sky above.

Diana, in full armor and weaponry, flew down toward Arthur and she hovered above the ocean, watching him in the waist deep waters.

"Curry." She said down to him then.

Aquaman has posed:
Standing down below, Trident held, butt in the dirt at his side is Arthur, looking up at the descending Amazonian as she arrives in her trademark jet, he too is dressed for business, carrying the Trident of Poseidon, and clad in his Royal Atlantean armor. "Arthur is fine." He greets, "Thank you for coming Diana."

Aquaman continues up the beach slowly, nodding his head inland, the island is a typical example of the area, a rocky mountain stands at the center, a long dormant volcano, the rest of the island covered by thick vegetation, all in all there is nothing that suggests anything unusual.

"I had a scientific expedition studying the volcanic processes in the area, they reported an unusual power signature that might be similar to those we saw the Imperium constructs generating, I wanted to check the island and make sure we didn't miss anything." He explains to Wonder Woman as he walks.

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana touched down silently onto the beach beside him and she listened to his explanation, then let her blue eyes scan over the vegetation further inland. "It seems like a peaceful enough place." Diana commented then, the warm tropical breezes pushing her long black hair about her shoulders.

Diana would start to walk with him and she'd step over an old sun-bleached log that had been washed ashore and was now serving as an apartment complex for tiny beach creatures.

"This looks more like a wild and untamed version of my homeland... if a bit smaller in size." She would show a smirk at the Ocean Man then. "Do you have any specifics on where the energy may be here? Searching the whole place on foot could take some time."

Aquaman has posed:
"It does, if there was anything major here I suspect we would have noticed it by now." Arthur says with a nod towards Diana as they move along, "I checked the oceans around the island, there was no sign of any disturbances either.

"The signals were coming from further in, around the mountain somewhere. My scientists weren't able to pinpoint it specifically though." Arthur says, using the power of Poseidon's blessing to lift off the ground a bit, "We should probably skip the worst of the jungle."

"Your home sounds like a nice place, I spent a lot of time on islands like this before I ascended to the throne of Atlantis, I quite like this part of the world."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana would listen closely to what the man said and when he lifted up off of the ground, so would she. She glanced over at him and smiled very faintly. "There are many beautiful places in this world, of many different variables that make them completely unique to one another, but no less stunning to experience. My homeland will always by my most favorite... but, I have seen quite a few that stun me potentially even more."

Diana would silently glide through the air up toward the overgrown jungle inland and she'd let her eyes scan around over the tree's canopy. "I love these mysterious little islands. You never know what you may find on them, but they assuredly aren't as vacant and lifeless as you might believe. Everything on this planet, has a story..." She would then look to Arthur again and move to follow him.

Aquaman has posed:
"Many things lost to mankind hide within places like this." Arthur says with a nod of his head towards Diana as he flies along with her, his power of flight nowhere as advanced as most of his peers amongst the Justice League, but sufficient to cross the island at least.

"Some things best left unfound as well. There were many destructive, dangerous things left imprisoned and hidden away from the bygone era." Arthur adds as he moves along overtop the trees, his keen senses peering down towards the ground below. "Do you see anything?"

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana listened to Arthur, and the jungle beneath them. Her eyes scanned the trees and tried to look through them. "Lots of birds." Was her initial response, and a sly grin was shown over to the man aside of her, she flew at a speed that would allow them to stay near to one another.

"A river... waterfall..." She started speaking the things she could see and hear through the trees. "Everything looks so untouched by the hands of Man...." She gently shook her head side to side. "But if your people indicated something was here, then I trust their findings. But perhaps we should have came more equipped to scan for such signals?"

Aquaman has posed:
"You know, we don't have many birds where I live." Arthur says with a glance back towards Diana, returning that slight grin himself as the path of flight takes them from the flatlands of the jungle and towards the central mountain that makes up the bulk of the island.

"The mineral composition was interfering with the operation of the team's sensors." Arthur replies, "Making it difficult to pinpoint, a visual search seemed like the best first step, if there are any signs of the Imperium they'll probably be fairly obvious. Keep an eye out for any caves. They don't like the light as you know."

Wonder Woman has posed:
Diana flew along with Arthur and she smirked at him. "But the birds were replaced with amazing sea life, yes?" She said with a sly grin before hearing his observations about what to look out for. "It is a shame that Superman is not here, with those fancy eyes of his that he can use to see through all the... I sure hope he uses that power respectfully. I am sure that he does, but that is... a very disturbing power for someone to have. If, admittedly useful in situations such as this."

Diana would dip her flight and move in toward the river that was coming from the mountain. "The water originates from inside the mountain itself. It is a natural spring, so it would seem." She nodded forward toward the rocks. "I do not see a cavern entrance as of yet, but it is probably around those outcroppings." She pointed upward above the 50 foot waterfall that cascades down from the dark rocks.

Aquaman has posed:
"Some things that you wouldn't even believe." Arthur says with a nod of his head at Diana, "And I am sure that Superman wouldn't use his powers to peep on women, or anyone for that matter, not intentionally."

When the waterfall is pointed out, Arthur nods his head at Diana and follows along after her towards it, trailing the river up to the waterfall itself. "Shall we see what hides behind it?" he asks, holding out the trident and literally parting the water, the falling water curves out on either side, like two curtains being parted and stretched.

Aquaman has posed:
Arthur Curry says, "Only rarely! The fish tell me if someone's trying to trick me."
