A highschool, a gaggle of vamps...And The Slayer.
Date of Scene: 19 July 2020
Location: Sunnydale High School, Sunnydale (TBD)
Synopsis: Spike saves Dawn from a gaggle of vamps. They have dinner at the Summers' house after, much to Buff's annoyance.
Cast of Characters: Buffy Summers, Spike

Buffy Summers has posed:
It's late, really late. But Dawn had one of those extracurricular clubs that she needed to tend to, and with Joyce otherwise disposed, it was up to Buffy to come pick her up. But unfortunately she's running a bit late with work and with this whole thunderstorm running through Sunnydale she had grown concerned enough to call on Spike to come meet her.

Because Sunnydale at night in a thunderstorm is a dangerous and scary place, especially for the Slayer's little sis who nasucakky had a giant target on her back.

Spike has posed:
What was he doing? Nobody knows except him. Was he busy? Maybe he was, but the mention of Dawn and being alone in the Hellmouth cover is enough to get him to drop it and make his way there fast.

His motorcycle rolls up to the front of of the school. He sighs and gets off the bike,"Sunnydale High. Site of many of my greatest debacles." He flicks the lighter to life and draws the flame into a cigarette that dangles at the corner of his mouth.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Thunder rumbles angrily overhead, accompanied by the expected flash of lightning. Rain follows, first in soft putter patters and then comes down more angrily, more rapidly, patting the area with cold fury, turning a once dry school parade into a tiny lake. No hail quite yet but who knows what's to come next?

The last few lights in the school flicker off but no sign of Dawn yet. Where could she be....?

Spike has posed:
There are a lot of things people can do to look for someone. Spike takes a drag, exhales the smoke, holds the cigarette away from himself, and tests the scents on the air. Finding the one that smells like Dawn, he turns down the hallway and continues to test the air for Dawn or others that might be around.

Buffy Summers has posed:
It's eeerily quiet inside the school, but with Dawn's little a Wiccan club having finished some 15 minutes ago, the door is certainly still unlocked. But most of the kids have gone home. Sooo where the heck is Dawn?

And if Spike is extra attentive he may just catch the scent of something else that is quite familiar, the scent of vampire, wafting down from the second floor. That's...One..Two..lNo five separate vamps. And they seem hungry..And angry!

Spike has posed:
Catching the scent of the vampires he sighs,"Bollux." he growls and starts to run towards the scent of Dawn. Pausing at a cabinet on the wall he drags a fireman's axe and starts to run again.

What has the little bit gotten herself into tonight. The closer he gets to her scent the faster he starts to run.

Buffy Summers has posed:
It's pretty dark in here but through the halls are evidence of a fight or break-in..Scattered stuff, misplaced papers, walks with holes in them..lSpike's trail takes him to the door of a laboratory, although the door is locked. but the sound if crashing and yelling is easily heard within..

And the familiar cry of an innocent girl's voice. "Help meee!"

Spike has posed:

Hello locked door. Meet mister ax. He splinters the door in a few swings and lunges into the next room, looking for the source of the familiar voice,"Dawn!" he calls to try to get a response and maybe get some of the vampire's attention. Papers make running a little tricky, but he only skids on the papers once and doesn't fall down.

Buffy Summers has posed:
"SPIKE!" she screeches in alarm and fear. What once was a biology lab is mostly gutted and in disarray, test tubes and Erlenmeyer flasks discarded and broken everywhere, the lights overhead flickering unsteadily.

But what's most alarming is the ever growing ring of fire encircling a very frightened Dawn. Oh yeah, and about five or six snarling hungry vamps between Spike and Dawn..

Spike has posed:
Not waiting, Spike goes in. A stake appears in his hand. If there is a vampire facing her and not him, any one really that doesn't see him coming, gets a dust without warning through the back.

Is that going to get them all? No, but it will lower the odds for him at least. Vampires and fire don't mix so if she is in the middle that might slow them for a moment. Long enough for Spike to distract them is anybody's guess.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Bamf! There goes one..Two...But the other four vamps are not to be taken so flippantly. They snarl and turn on him, each brandishing so,e weapon or other, a lead pipe, chain, another fire axe that looks like Spike's own. "Har har har! We were expecting Buffy, but here comes the traitor! Get him!" and they snarl, rushing him, circling him, attacking him in unison.

Spike has posed:
"Blood Hell..." he mutters darkly. Four on one is better than six on one at least. The four of them surrounding him at least gives him something to work with. Might as well die tonight right?

The stake goes back into his pocket and he takes the ax in both hands and starts to whirl it around his head with a wide stretching arc. It isn't the best defense ever, but at least it will cause them to keep their distance.

"Dawn. Can you get past it?" he asks her, mindful of them all as best as he can be. He creeps a step forward towards the one nearest him. What he has planned next is only going hurt the front one. A combat boot to the junk is white hot pain for any man, human or vampire. Maybe when the all come in at once he will at least get one with the head of the ax too.

Buffy Summers has posed:
The vamps keep their distance..Mostly. But one is brandishing a crossbow and he aims and shoots it at the errant vamp even as his allies snarl and duck to the side. His first bolt is aimed at Spike's heart but with all the twirling going on, it ends up shooting at his upper right thigh instead. The second bolt is aimed a bit closer to the heart if it hits.

One of the boulder vamps, the one with the chain whips it at Spike's legs, attempting to entangle him with it, although the other two shriek as he aims at their junk, at least one hits home and a vamp staggers back, shrieking in pain..

Dawn stares wide eyed and grabs the eye washing station hose, spraying the fire with it. She's slowly putting it out but it'll take time.

Spike has posed:
The best part of being shot? Really? Well at least he twitches and leans down just in time to not catch the second bolt. Granted this happens a second after his legs get tangled in the chain. Down to the ground he falls, but given the fact when he hits the ground he kicks out of the chains and uses his stake to pin a vampire's foot to the ground.

Time to roll, a moment after snapping the arrow off from his leg. New stake...sort of,"BLOODY HELL!" he snarls and rolls away from people to get his bearings. Still out numbered, but far from out classed he backs away from them and gets between them and Dawn...more or less. The fire is an issue, but not as pressing as the bad sorts.

Buffy Summers has posed:
One of the vamps shriek as his foot is pinned to the ground. He snarls, stuck in place but whips his chain out again, this time trying to throttle him around the neck with it. The crossbow wielding vamp snarks and aims again at Spike, aiming closer to his heart this time..

And the other two vamps are already recovering, laughing wickedly as they climb back to their feet, about to rush at him from opposite sides for a pincher attack. One grabs a fallen bolt, the other, a smashed flask as they rush at him..Only one of them gets a bolt shot at him from behind and the other gets one rammed into his chest as a certain blonde bombshell gets in between him and Spike.

Buffy glances back at the blonde vamp, then at Dawn, "Get her out of here, I'll cover you!" meanwhile, Dawn continues to blast at the flames with the water hose..But a chemical fire is trickier than most. The flames seem to weaken only a bit but it's not quite enough to leap through. "Spike! Buffy!" she shrieks, eyes wide with fear..

Spike has posed:
The chain is predictable at least. He raises his left arm up and in line with his neck. The chain wraps around his arm and he uses it to pull the other vampire forward,"Poncey buggar." he growls.

The arrival of the bombshell gets a snarky laugh and he staggers back some,"Watch the one on the left, he's faster than he looks." he warns her and turns towards Dawn and the fire. On a good day he could jump over it.

Given the bolt in his leg he isn't really at his best. He raises his coat over his head and lunges through the fire running since there is no jumping. Leather is your friend to a point. His pants get singed, but he gets through.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers smirks at Spike and just rolls her eyes. Having bamfed two charging vamps, she launches a jumping kick at the third, the one with the chain who finds himself held in place when Spike grabs his chain. That brief surprise let's Buff get in a shot but he only stumbles back from her powerful kick, quickly catching himself and charging at her with a furious yell, having pulled back his chain after Spike bushes himself with rescuing the girl.

And then of course the cross bow vamp joins the fray and she is momentarily locked in combat with the two vamps who seem considerably more skilled than your average vamp.

As Spike passes through the flames, Dawn's eyes widen in concern, staring at his leg. "Spike! you okay? How do we get out of here?" they're pretty much cornered with the flames and the exit in the far corner right where Buff is fighting the vamps. Oh yeah and there's a window behind them, which is probably their quickest exit out of here..But risky too, at least for Dawn..

Spike has posed:
Spike looks around for options. The window is the best choice, but opening it...that's oxgen in the room. Oxyen equals more fire and that isn't good. Still he looks over the flames and at Buffy. He sighs and takes Dawn to the window. The best option still sucks.

He shoves the window open and looks through to make sure there aren't any nasty sorts waiting for Dawn outside. If it is clear he motions,"Out. Now."

Buffy Summers has posed:
The window opens with a blast of air, but it also brings wind which blows those flames around. Good thing Dawn left the hose running p,us the sprinklers started to go on so the flames are rapidly shrinking. Dawn shrieks in fear but does as Spike says, jumping out. At least it's not a long jump though those bushes aren't much fun to land on.

"What about Buffy? We gotta help her!" she screams.

Spike has posed:
"Bloody Hell." he scowls and turns towards Buffy again. Bushes...that will be a joy. He turns back around to see what Buffy is into and looks out again to make sure nothing is moving around Dawn,"Buffy! Fall back. Let's go."

He limps a few steps forward and oh look, there is a wooden stool. He snaps the leg off of it and carefully moves a few steps to help her disengage.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn continues to watch the room from outside with wide eyed fear. A minute or two or three go by..Five minutes and Dawn looks stubborn enough to turn back before Buffy leaps out the window, looking bruised and ruffled but none the less for wear.

"Phew.." she wipes her brow, glancing around and breathes a sigh of relief. "You okay? Whst the heck happened in there?"

Spike has posed:
A few moments later Spike manages to go through the window as well. He can't be quite so graceful as Buffy considering, but he gets through anyway. He looks at the room, then Dawn, then Buffy, and then shakes his head,"You Summers girls will be the death of me." he muses with some hint of humor at least.

This part will be less than fun. He pauses to lean against a tree and looks at the wound in his leg. There is a right way and a wrong way and probably neither way is going to be pleasant.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn sighs a bit, hugging her arms, "I don't know! I was waiting for Buffy to pick me up then those vamps just chased me..Where'd they even co e from? They had these weird eye tattoos on their arms.." Buffy is already checking Dawn for wounds though she seems alright, save for some bruises and minor burns.

"Sounds like Carpe Noctem..Dammit. They're trying to get to me through you..We need to stop this now.."

Dawn meanwhile rushes to Soike's side, looking him over, concerned, "Oh my gosh! is your leg okay? We should head home, we can take care of it there..Thanks for saving me, Spike!" she practically swoons. It's no secret that she's always crushed on Spike big time.

Spike has posed:
Spike listens to the the two of them talk and raises a brow at the tattoo comment,"Tattoo of an eye?" Of course he is more interested in getting the arrow out, but trying to figure out which way is better to get rid of an arrow.

He looks up as Dawn rushes over to see his leg,"It will be fine little bit. Might hurt like the blazes, but it will heal." He manages a wink, trying to be half way noble since he's always had a soft spot for Dawn in her own way.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers sighs. "Oh come on Dawn, he only dropped by because I asked him to. You give him way too much credit." she steps towards him and..Well, cross bow bolts don't have barbs like arrows, and these ones are just wooden sticks with points, though probably easier to pull it out in the same direction it came in, depending on how deep it's in.

It doesn't seem to be in too deep though and with a quick flick of her wrist she rips it out, which will probably hurt but it could always be worse. "You'll live." she mutters, tossing the bolt aside.

Spike has posed:
"Let me see how did it go? Spike go get Dawn. Sure, I'm not doing anything right? I go to get Dawn because at least one Summers woman doesn't make me want to go for a walk in the morning." he comments,"Oh look you've been shot..."
And out comes the bolt. He bites the inside of his mouth and gives Buffy a look that could burn,"Now let's torture the fool." he spits and looks at the Dawn again,"You're safe. I have other torture means to expose myself to."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers rolls her eyes, "I did you a favour, that bolt can't stay in there forever." she shrugs, "But I suppose you did protect Dawn, and that means more to me than anything so...Thank you." Dawn flashes a sweet smile at Spike and even tugs on his arm, "Come on, why don't you join us for dinner?!"

Buffy just sighs, rolling her eyes some more. "He's a vampire. He doesn't eat. He just drinks blood.." which is kinda disgusting really.

Spike has posed:
Oh, so it's going to be that kind of night. Fine. Before he walks away, Spike slips his arm around Dawn's shoulders because hey, he can't bite her anyway,"What do you have in mind? I could show you how to make that bloomin' onion thing." he comments,"If you make them right they are wonderful."

Buffy wants to play the snarky card, Spike will play the nice wiseass card,"If you want I can show you the secret."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn giggles as she skips along side Spike, and is she blushing too? She's totally blushing! "Ooh I looove onion rings! And home made chicken burgers, I mean Buffy is a terrible cook, you know how many times she nearly burnt the kitchen to the ground?"

Buffy groans as she follows at a distance, "Ohh, you've got to be kidding me.." she sighs and shakes her head, "Quit trying to embarrass me, Dawn..."

Spike has posed:
"Not really onion rings." he comments,"This is a little different. One onion for a person. It deep fries and looks like a flower when it is over." he explains. The joy of being annoying to the one who tries to annoy. He looks back at Buffy and hmms,"You're still there?" Back to walking down the street and talking to Dawn,"I suspected your sister is a terror in the kitchen. Somehow I am not surprised."

Buffy Summers has posed:
"Ooh that sounds sooo cool! Yeah, you can teach me how to make that? That's way more fun than normal onion rings!" she blushes and giggles some more, hip bumping Spike all playfully. "You know, you're actually really cool. I dunno why Buffy'a always cranky around you. Although you know what they say, you usually treat the people you're crushing on badly cuz you're secretly in love with them!"

Buffy groans, clenching her fist. "Oh please! I don't have to listen to this garbage!" and she turns on her heel and storms off. Did she decide to go on patrol or maybe she knows a short cut home..Who knows? One thing is for certain, she at least seems to trust Spike enough to know he'll walk Dawn safely home. But that's all.

Spike has posed:
"It takes a bit of work, but in the end it is worth it." he comments. He looks back to Buffy and smiles,"You see, I'm actually really cool. As for why she is cranky who knows? Maybe she needs a real boyfriend." he teases and goes back to walking.

"As for the other, well I can't say. My level of in love has only really been measured twice." He hears Buffy get all bent and storm off. Never looking back he mutters to Dawn,"You see. Your sister's too high strung and needs a real date."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn giggles some more,"Heehee, you're sooo funny! I mean what's the deal anyway? You're a good guy so she should be happy for your help.." although she hesitates on the idea that Buffy needs a real boyfriend. "Well...Thomas is actually really cool..Handsome too, Buffy's like, madly in love with him, but I think the whole incubus thing is kinda creepy, I dunno."

Buffy is nowhere to be seen but Dawn doesn't seem worried as she ci it he's walking, "Oh it's not far now, just around the corner, but then you already know where we live. It's funny that she hasn't deinvited you yet, considering how much she rants about you. Heck, she even keeps spare blood in the fridge, and beer too, just in case you drop by. Although she claims it's for Angel." she rolls her eyes as she crosses the street to her house.

Spike has posed:
"I have heard very little about Thomas, but it's not my call. Apparently he's good and then he's not. Whatever he's doing it isn't scratching that...." he pauses and looks at Dawn with a shake of his head,"How did I end up talking about your sister's love life with you?" He is still amused, but thinking a little more.

"As far as the rest of it goes I don't know. She has done it once and I wouldn't be surprised if she did it again." A glance back over his shoulder and he comments,"Beer and blood." A snort as he adds,"Angel's too much of a ponce to drink beer. If she keeps the blood that might be right. Who knows." Around the corner and heading towards the house his limp has quietly made itself correct along the way.

Buffy Summers has posed:
"Yeaaah, I haven't decided who's best for my sis. I mean, she seems extremely happy with Thomas, happier even, than when she was with Angel. But what's with her obsession with demons? I mean, she's obviously obsessed with you too, so maybe you still have a chance." she winks, "I haven't quite figured out who would be better for her."

Yeaaah she's totally over sharing and Buffy would be very mad at that last bit. Good thing she's not here right now. Anyway, Dawn strides up to the front and unlocks the door. "Mom's away in a business trip so it's just the too of us. Unless Buffy joins us.." she glances upwards and looks like the light's on i. Buffy's room. Maybe she took a short cut home Afterall.

Spike has posed:
"You'll work it all out." Spike comments in regards to who is best for her. Hearing she is happy is a bit of a downer, but he doesn't really hold out much hope for her anyway. He's crazy, in love, and well aware she doesn't return the affection.

The mention that mom is gone gets a nod,"I haven't seen your mum in a while. That's too bad." Following her eyes he notes the light on in the bedroom as well and frowns. Curious and maybe a bit wary he touches Dawn on the shoulder,"Call your sister." he mutters softly.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn arches a brow, glancing upwards, "Oh yeah, she is home." she shrugs, but does as he says, having a short conversation with her sis as they cross the threshold, then hangs up. "She said to go ahead and make dinner, that she'd be down shortly, and that you might as well help yourself to blood and beer in the fridge." Dawn smirks at the last bit, definitely bemused.

Spike has posed:
A little more at ease, Spike goes inside with Dawn to the kitchen to start making the promised onions. Ice water, breading, deep frying. It takes a little while, but he does have this much right anyway.

While the onions soak he goes over to get a beer from the refrigerator. For whatever reason he doesn't drink the blood infront of Dawn. So much for evil monster look Buffy paints him to be.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn is only too happy to help him with preparing dinner. Because this is fun, and he's kinda cute, and of course she has a crush on him and all that. But anyways, Dawn smiles a bit as she watches him grab a beer from the fridge but not the blood, "Heey, if you wanna drink blood, I don't mind..Really! Iknow what you're all about and I'm not squeamish."

Spike has posed:
Spike nods and settles for the beer right now as he comments,"I had just drank some before you sister called." He puts one of the cut up, water soaked, and battered onions into the oil.

While it cooks he leans on the counter and shakes his head,"You know what I'm all about huh? You still want to hang out with me? Big bad. Monster. Killer. All those things and I am acceptable?"

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn smirks and shakes her head, "Except you got that chip in your head that stops you from hurting anyone, right?" she smiles innocently, "Besides, you're in love with Buffy so you'd do whatever you can to impress her, even if it's by being all protective and buddy buddy to her little sis!"

Spike has posed:
"Oh yeah. The joys of having someting to fry your brain inside all the time." he comments and shakes his head,"You're right I love your sister, but that's where it ends."

He studies the onion and makes sure it is cooking evenly. He looks at Dawn again and admits,"Besides. If I want intelligent and enjoyable company then this is the Summers sister I need to spend time with. You accpt me for what I am and don't feel the need to stick a microscope up my...." he stops there,"...you get the idea."

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn smiles, "I don't know why she's so hard on you, I guess she thinks having a soul is a big deal, but you really are good for her..Maybe I'll talk to her about it. It's criminal the way she treats you!"

And then suddenly Buffy is standing in the doorway, arms folded, glaring at them both. "Spike..A word please." she doesn't look amused, though she does look tired, maybe a bit irritable.

Spike has posed:
"Good luck with that little bit." he comments and takes the bloomin' onion out to put it on a plate for her,"Enjoy that." he tells her and turns towards the sound of Buffy's voice.

Oh boy. Here comes the pain. He moves towards where she is and lets her lead him off to the verbal smackdown to come.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Dawn oohs, sniffing the air. "Hmm, I love the smell of fried onion. Thanks!" and as he goes to join Spike, she continues to fry more onions and work on the dinner.

Unlike Buffy, she's actually GOOD at cooking, and she busies herself with steaming veggies as well as putting on some BBQ chicken. Okaay, so the chicken's already pre-prepared and just needs to be heated up but hey, she's still better than Buff at cooking!

Buffy draws a deep breath as she watches him. Okay, there are several ways she could tackle this but..Soft, hazel eyes flutter towards her sister, frowning softly before glancing back to Spike.

"Okaay, I dont know how to say this but..With Thomas getting owned at work a lot lately, and seeing as Dawn trusts you so freakin' much although I have nooo idea why." she bites her lip, not really enjoying that last part but.

"Okay, it's pretty obvious that Carpe Noctem aren't gonna stop targetting me or my family, my mom's out of town for a few more weeks but I'm worried about Dawn. I...I need someone to watch her, pick her up from school, keep an eye on her at home when I can't be here.."

Spike has posed:
Spike gives Dawn a smirk and a wink as she goes back to cooking and such. Since he's never sure what to expect from Buffy he turns his attention back towards her and frowns thoughtfully at her presentation. The devil may care smile touches his features at the mention of Dawn trusting him,"I can tell you my secret." he mutters.

When she starts to list out the problems, the concerns and what she need he nods finally,"All right. She might get some looks being picked up in an old car with blacked out windows during the day, but I will." he comments finally,"I can be around here easy enough when you can't." He pauses a moment and comments,"These Carpe Noctem types. Are they human or more demonic in nature?"

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers smiles faintly, though her eyes are touched with trouble. "Yeah, wouldn't that be a sight to see. Look Spike. I...I trust you, although I don't know why the hell why. I guess I can see that maybe you really are trying to be good. Just.."

Her gaze softens when he so easily complies and nods. "Right. I appreciate it. Really. These guys aren't playing around anymore. And as for what they are? They're vampires, only they have a pretty powerful mentor, not sure exactly HOW powerful, maybe even close to Master level power, Armastus has some sort of powerful hypnotic ability, and he's quite stronger than your average vamp. "

She shrugs. "As for the others? Well, he's got an army of well trained vampires at his disposal. Looks like he's been doing a lot of recruiting of vampire wannabes, loners, stressed college kids, goths..People who think vamps are creatures to be worshipped. Turning them, training them to fight. oh, and he's got ghouls too. Not sure how many but they're tough. I think I've figured out most of the kinks to my plan. We need to move in a couple of days from now, cuz this needs to end.."

Spike has posed:

"What can I tell you Slayer? I'm charming." he comments with a snort and leans against the doorway the two of you stand near. He crosses his arms and considers her words for a while. A glance to Dawn and he asks,"You want me to watch the little bit or would you rather I go see if I can get my face infront of his and get a feel for the place?"

At least he asked rather than just rush out and do it. He wouldn't do that. Would he? He considers Dawn for a long moment and shakes his head. No, he's not going to do that.

He looks back to Buffy and nods,"Let me know what you need there too. Whether it's go in with you or take Dawn for a trip up the coast for a few days or something?"

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers shakes her head, trying not to smile. "Charming? Seriously? Okay let's talk about that for a moment, cuz I recently had a chat with Prue, and I hear you were acting inappropriately towards her." eyes narrow a bit. "And while I cant condone people throwing punches or magic in the Magic Box, really, Spike?"

She sighs and just rolls her eyes. "Look, it's not difficult, just keep an eye on her for the next few days. She should be fine on the night we're going in, heck, I'll get Angel to watch her at his hotel."

She sighs, "But he wont be free for a couple of days. Until then, I need you to come in with me, you're one of the most skilled fighters I know. I'm gonna need some muscle the night we break into their little party house."

Spike has posed:
He touches his head with his index finger and replies,"Hey I didn't throw any punches at anyone thanks." he starts out,"A few verbal barbs maybe, but you know better than most that I am lousy at telling someone they are pretty." He shrugs and continues,"What can I tell you love? I still have that pesky demon that makes my blood run. The one I want doesn't want me and so I should probably leave her alone and move on. In love or not, there comes a point I'm pathetic."

"For the record the only one throwing anything physical was her. Her little magic trick tossed me out into the sun for a nice burn that day. If her skin is thin that isn't my issue."

"What is the American saying? You go, we go. Let me know when." he comments,"It's been a long time since last I saw that nancy." He smirks a bit and admits,"Not long enough, but a long time." Those two can fight the armies of Hell, but never will they like each other.

Buffy Summers has posed:
Buffy Summers shrugs, "Probably good advice. And I figured as much. I know how Prue operates, being a witch and all. I talked to her about it too. I dont appreciate the use of punches or magic throwing in Giles' store, and neither does he."

As for Angel, Buffy just sighs, "He's got his own business to run, it's...Been a while. But he's another person I trust. Heh.." she laughs, shaking her head. "Guess it's true what they say, I'm a vampire magnet. Can fall in with a normal crowd. Isn't that sad?"

Spike has posed:
"Prue was an interesting sort, even after I nearly burned to death." he muses with a shrug,"I'll do my best to not incite her." He smirks a little,"You know how that will probably go. My best isn't always great....or is it?"

"We're evil and bad at the core Buffy. The thrill of the only person in the world that is made to kill one of us seems to draw us in." he suggets,"Nothing like the danger of being physical with the natural predator. It isn't just us I don't think."
