Synopsis: Hank and Sandy go to the beach!
Cast of Characters: Beast, Sandra Billings

Beast has posed:
It's a nice day to explore the Jersey Shore. Hank and Sandy both have some time off and so they've opted to go have a nice day in the sun and surf. The beach itself is a little on the crowded side, but the couple has managed to secure a good spot on the sand nevertheless. There's an umbrella set up, some folding beach chairs, towels and a cooler all ready to go.

As happy as a child with ice cream, Beast is relaxing in his chair with a book in his hand. It's a textbook on nuclear physics, just some light reading for the scientifically inclined mutant.

Glancing from the page to his date he says, "What a great day. Beautiful atmosphere, beautiful date, entertaining reading. It will only get better when get our feet wet."

Sandra Billings has posed:
As Hank holds the book with one hand, Sandy is holding his other as she lays sprawled out in her own beach chair next to them under the umbrella. The ER nurse is wearing a simple one piece bathing suit that is a dark blue with some gold floral pattern and a pair of shorts to keep herself modest. She is sipping on a bottle of water with her other hand, eyes closed and sighing happily.

"If we jump in the water, are you going to get all clumpy with your fur and smell like wet cat?" She teases him a bit. "Salt water is gross." Her nose wrinkles up in humor. "And if you get stung by a jelly fish .." She trails off with a giggle. "I left my first aid kit in the car."

Beast has posed:
"My fur doesn't clump terribly, and I like to think I smell quite fragrant," Hank chuckles out a reply to the joke. "Well then, we'd best avoid getting stung by anything out there."

People are kind of looking at the pair, giving them extra attention because of how blue one of them is, but they're being left alone by the other beach goers. Things are going pretty smoothly, "Alright." That section of the book he was reading is complete, so Beast puts his reading material down and says, "Time for me to hop in and get clumpy and gross smelling."

Sandra Billings has posed:
Laughing, Sandy rolls her eyes, then reaches for the sunscreen and dabs some on her nose, then massages a little bit into her cheeks. "I don't even know if I /can/ sunburn, but I'm not taking a risk. And yes, you smell quite 'fragrant'." She says with a giggle. Shifting about to face him, she stares longingly for a few moments, then leans in to give him a kiss, followed by a dab of cream on the end of his nose.

"Safety first! That's my motto." She says as she slips out from the umbrella, then goes about working the lotion into her arms. "If we go in, that means I have to take the shorts off." She says with a soft huff under her breath. While she is wearing a full bathing suit, it doesn't mean she's still not self-conscious. Everyone looks so pretty at the Jersey Shore.

Beast has posed:
After their little smooch Beast is left grinning happily as he wipes the sunscreen off his snout. "Better to be safe than sorry."

Looking at Sandy for a moment, Hank leans in and says softly into her ear, "I may be looking for an excuse to get you into something more revealing, my dear." He then looks around and says, "Additionally, how do you expect to go to the beach and not play in the ocean, at least a bit."

Sandra Billings has posed:
Blushing, Sandy leans in and pulls him a bit closer, wrapping her arms about his waist. She giggles at his whisper into her ear, then says, "I brought something that you will really enjoy later in the hotel room tonight. Something to bring the beast out." She brushes her fingers along his chest fur, then gives him another kiss before she finally inches the shorts down and steps out of them.

Nudging them to the side, she gives a glance down at herself in her suit, then lets out a deep breath. "Okay! Let's go get wet." She says as she curls her hand into his paw. "Lead on my hunky blueberry. Let's have some fun. You're right. There's no need to worry."

Beast has posed:
"Did you now?" Hank asks curiously, his mind beginning to race. "I've got even more to look forward to, then."

Beast takes the lead, heading down towards the water. He's more or less just runs into the ocean, letting the water wash over his legs with a big smile on his face. He doesn't go very deep, however, should Sandy need more time to acclimate to the temperature. "Ahh! How I've missed this!" He bends his knees, getting lower in the water so that it comes up over more of his body.

Sandra Billings has posed:
It doesn't seem Sandy even feels the chill of the ocean around her. She's dense after all. "I can't swim." She warns him. "Remember.. me and water.. I uh.. I can't float.. you know.. powers." She goes in as far as he does, but she'll make sure it's not too deep. Maybe waist high in the water. She anchors herself down in the sand, then goes about splashing the water towards him with a grin. With her enhanced strength, she can get a good rush of water to wash over him.

"I can't wait for tonight." She assures him with a big grin. "I just want you to be happy and excited. I can't wait to see your eyes pop out of your head." She has a coy look about her as she sways side to side in the water.

Beast has posed:
"I remember," Hank says when she reminds him about not being able to swim. "No need to go very deep..." He's cut off as he gets slammed with a splash and comes out of it sputtering out salt water. Laughing, he returns the attack with one of his own, trying not to get too much on his date.

"I'm excited and intrigued!" Beast exclaims. "I can't wait for the sun to go down tonight."

Sandra Billings has posed:
"You'll definitely be excited and hopefully very happy by the morning." Sandy splashes him back, not minding if she is sprayed by the water. She revels in the chance to just be a goofball with her beau. She reaches out for him, wrapping her arms about his wet, furry frame, then gives him a big hug as she grins widely.

"I'm so glad you dragged me out here to do this. This is a great weekend idea." As her hands loop around his neck, she leans in to place another kiss, then says, "I love you."

Beast has posed:
When Sandy gives him he a hug Beast lifts her out of the water and twirls with her in his arms, grinning at her.

Setting her down and returning her kiss he looks at her silently for a few seconds, digesting the words she just said to him with a soft smile in place. "I love you, too, Sandy."

Sandra Billings has posed:
Squeaking at the spin, Sandy giggles, then tucks herself in against him once they settle in the water. She brushes her hand along his fuzzy cheek, staring into his blue eyes as she listens to him. Her cheeks flush, then leans in to give him another kiss, this one a bit more passionate and full of affection.

"Yeah? You do?" She combs the fur along his neck with her fingers, staring up at him, her grin widening. "I really want to introduce you to my parents. I know they'd really like you."

Beast has posed:
As they kiss again, Hank lifts his lady in the air and slowly spins with her in his arms. "Of course I do," he says as he gently rests his hand on her cheek. Then he nods his head, "I'd like that. I think it would be very nice to meet your folks."

Sandra Billings has posed:
Grinning ear to ear, Sandy smiles. "Now I gotta tell them about you." She says with a giggle. "I'll admit, I've been a bit hesitant to bring you up, because I know they will needle me. They know about you of course. You are famous in the medical field. I think they'd be pretty surprised to know that I was able to catch your eye and then keep you." She says teasingly as she settles her hands over his hips. "When's the last time you ever met someone's parents?"

Beast has posed:
"It's been quite a long time since I've been brought home to mom and dad," Hank says, thinking hard on the subject. "I think the last time was when I was going for my bachelors degree so it's been at least ten years." There's a chuckle, "It'll be nice to meet the family of the woman I love, though. I find myself excited and intrigued by the notion. Hopefully they'll like me in person."

Sandra Billings has posed:
"I would be shocked if they didn't like you. Just don't be upset if at first they are surprised. I think bringing a boy home is one thing, but bringing home ... ah .. a big blue furry cat is another. They may need a moment to compose themselves, but I assure you, they will be okay with you. They are okay with me. They love me." Sandy says as she settles her hands on his chest, combing her fingers through the blue fur gently.

Then, with a sly grin, she says, "Though I am pretty sure afterwards my dad will want to ask me about .. ah.. the biological things we've been up to." She says with a giggle. "Because he's curious."

Beast has posed:
"Well, I will do my utmost to impress them," Hank says to Sandy with a smile, resting his hands on the backs of her arms. "I'm quite excited by the prospect, I must admit. Nervous, as well."

There's a laugh from Beast before he shrugs his shoulders, "I'm certain he doesn't need the birds and the Beasts explained to him."

Sandra Billings has posed:
"No, I don't think he does. Though I'm sure he'd be more curious about .. ah .. " Sandy's eyes glance downwards, then back up to him with a grin. "You are quite the beast after all." She says teasingly as she leans in to give him a kiss. "But, he can just be curious. It will drive him crazy."

She pulls him closer, resting her head against his shoulder as she rocks with him a bit side to side in the water. "Mmm. I wish I could swim. I used to as a kid. Stupid powers .. making me all .. gravity challegend. It's a bummer because I used to love it."

Beast has posed:
"It's unfortunate," Hank says to Sandy as they rock together. "I'd love to be able to help you with your swimming problem, but I don't think you should change anything about yourself. Unless you want to, of course."
