Synopsis: Snake Eyes and Karrin 'spar' together at the gym.
Cast of Characters: Snake Eyes, Karrin Murphy

Snake Eyes has posed:
The gym is a good place to do some training when Snake Eyes is in the city. It's often quiet, people don't ask a lot of questions and there's a wide variety of exercise equipment. The thing about people not asking questions is great for the ninja, as the mask he's wearing to make his face look undamaged might come loose when exercising heavily. Honestly, if it weren't too weird he'd wear his usual ninja mask, but that might be stretch even for Fogwell's.

Since it's evening time there aren't a ton of folks here. This lets Snake have a punching bag to himself. He's dressed in a compression shirt, shorts and Chucks. Wrapping his hands before hitting the bag, he looks over the rest of the joint, checking things out to see what everyone else is working on.

Karrin Murphy has posed:
While Karrin is a member of the gym most of the police force goes to, she's also a member here because, more often these days, she really doesn't feel like working out with colleagues. Especially when she's covered in bruises she doesn't want to explain. Sore as hell and probably needing another day or two of just resting, whatever happened to the short blonde recently has gotten her dander up enough for her to want to work out. So, she's here.

While Snake Eyes is covering most everything of himself, Karrin isn't bothering to hide the fact that she looks like an overripe banana. The worst bruising is along her left hand side, her ribs all purple and yellow as well as most of her shoulder. She's got some bandages across her upper arm and a few bruises across her face, but seems mobile enough. She's in black shorts, gym shoes, and a black sports bra over the tension tape across the worst of her ribs. She looks up, lofting a brow quietly in the direction of the masked man. The evaluation she gives him is one considering if he's a danger, or just someone who likes to work out in a strange fashion. It seems she weighs on the latter because she continues her way to the bag next to him, wrapping her hands as she's going. She might be tiny and bruised, but the cut of her body is all muscle. She knows what she's doing.

Snake Eyes has posed:
When someone moves to the bag next to his Snake looks to see who it is and nods his head at her in a polite fashion, flashing a smile beneath his mask to try to be friendly. His eyes briefly scan her injuries, but he doesn't comment. Because he doesn't speak. There's some concern on his face, but if she's good enough to work out he's not going to worry over it too much.

With his hands sufficiently protected he starts to work the bag, hands moving fast as lightning as he starts off with some jabs in a brutal looking combo. His strikes get the bag moving enough that he's soon got to take a little break to grab it and stop it's sway before resuming his punching.

Karrin Murphy has posed:
Unaware of his lacking speaking, Karrin is still keen enough to pick up on that bit of concern. She's always been a good people reader, comes with the job. "...Car crash. No reason to get lazy, right?" She mutters almost too casually. The sort of bland, plain story that comes too easy that it almost draws attention. There's more to everything, but she's just content to finish tucking her hand wraps in and start slowly on the bag in front of her.

While she's used to a sparring partner, it's probably not the wisest idea right now. She still hates working alone. It's all just rote muscle memory, it's not actually being prepared for a fight. So, whether he realizes it or not, she's staring a mental dance between her bag and his. Whatever hit he's giving to the bag, she deflects on hers and returns in like. It's almost shadow boxing him just half a second later since she has to watch him between bags.

Snake Eyes has posed:
When told it's a car crash Snake gives a nod of understanding. That's just before he catches on that she's matching the blows he's sending into his bag and cracks a smile at the idea. And so he starts to just about dance with the bag. His body twists as he delivers wide hooks at first, keeping Karrin in his peripheral vision to see how she responds. Then starts working in some blows from his knees and elbows before jumping in the air with a spinning back kick. Gotta keep the fit looking woman on her toes, after all. Plus, it spices up his routine and makes things more fun.

Karrin Murphy has posed:
Well, that was even better. And, if anyone asked, she didn't go *sparring* while injured, she was just on the bag. But this was almost as good. She cracks a bit more of a smile at him as she realizes he's caught on and isn't complaining. She'll happily dance around bags with him. And, perhaps surprisingly, she really is good. Yes, a bit slower than usual for being bruised and hurting, but she knows the proper response to most of these punches and probably would be keeping up with blocking him if they were live on the mat. Instead, she's now spicing his routine up, a few kicks thrown in with the sides of her legs. Her style is mainly Muay Thai, if he knows certain forms, but she's got a little Aikido thrown in as well, probably not manifesting as much since they are working between bags. Sweat cuts down her skin, but she doesn't let up. If anything, she goes harder, tossing a fierce roundhouse to his metaphorical side.
