A garden full of posies..And other stuff.
Date of Scene: 25 July 2020
Location: Isley Gardens, South Channel Island
Synopsis: Ivy meets Fantomex and discusses a missing person.
Cast of Characters: Poison Ivy, Fantomex

Poison Ivy has posed:
Early morning falls upon Isley gardens, a beautiful bit of wilderness in the city, beautiful and deadly. More than one unsuspecting person has wandered into this seeming paradise and not all have made it out alive..Or maybe that's just a nasty rumour started by one of her enemies.

Anyway, although her attempts to take over the entire island have since been foiled, at least she has this piece of heaven left, and let's hope the wrong person doesn't stumble in, because she can be pretty protective of her...'children'.

Fantomex has posed:
Mysterious gardens draw attention, and someone is paying Fantomex a good deal of money to investigate the place, and maybe find someone who went missing a few days ago. Now, Fantomex technically hangs out in Gotham nowadays. But the truth is the Faux French thief does wander quite a bit. And Mutant Town tends to be more interesting lately.

Still, as E.V.A. in her flying saucer form delicately lands, her spindly insect-like legs avoiding crushing flowers, Fantomex has to admit. "Nice place. For Gotham at least."

He climbs out of the spherical ship, not even waiting for the ramp to be fully lowered. "Wait here, okay? Shouldn't take long." E.V.A. doesn't reply, at least not outloud.

Poison Ivy has posed:
This place doesn't seem terribly populated with people..But it's fairly large, and pretty flowers often attract curious children. Little bees buzz around and butterflies flutter about lively and colourfully. The insects mostly mind their business. The plants? That's another business.

If one is particularly keen, they may notice a large slithering vine moving slowly, twitching as the flying saucer thing lands in the pristine wilderness, and then when the humanoid climbs out, the large plant stands upright, pausing to stare at him.

Wait, did that giant viney thorny plant just move?

Fantomex has posed:
Fantomex is the keen type, so the slithering vine is noticed and given some space. Or that was the plan, because when the vegetable stands up like that, there is no avoiding the event. "Well met, monsieur Legume," greets the white-clad humanoid.

Some things are better taken in stride. He is used to much weirder, given how was the World facility where he was born. "Would a 'take me to your boss' request be appropriate?" He adds.

Poison Ivy has posed:
'Monsieur Legume' tilts it's 'head' or what counts for a head and it it fortunate that his first reaction was not to attack the poor lil' veggie, or we would be having an entirely different conversation here today..

Instead Monsieur Veggie seems to nod its head and scuffles slowly in a particular direction, pausing and gesturing with one of its vines for him to follow. And if Fanto pays attention he may notice some torn vines and other signs of recent injury on monsieur veggie. He's been in a battle recently.

Fantomex has posed:
Maybe he had to fight the Carrot Monster. Fantomex looks vaguely bemused at the vegetable thing actions. He can read the body language of humans and humanoids pretty well, but plants are way beyond his experience.

Still, there is a chance he has understood him, so he cautiously follows the vegetable thing, ignoring E.V.A.'s very reasonable mental warnings. Like he usually does.

Poison Ivy has posed:
Monsieur Veggie continues to lead him through shrubbery and wild forestry, actually being polite enough not to simply eat him..At least not yet. Let's see what it's boss says first. Anyway, some five minutes later it leads him to a large white marble gazebo, surrounded in artful shrubbery with a large table underneath the shelter from the hot sun. Even in a garden full of shrubbery there are open areas, and heat can get trapped in easily.

Pamela Isley sits in one of the seats, long legs lazily crossed as she sips a glass of iced tea, dressed in some sort of green leotard covered in leaves, her shoulders bare to let scarlet curves brushed g bare skin. "And to whom do I owethe pleasure of meeting today?" she smiles sweetly at him, though there is a dangerous look in her eyes, "More importantly, why are you here?"

Fantomex has posed:
"This is pretty stylish," admits Fantomex. Which means, of course, he is considering how to steal it. Then he bows lightly to Ivy. "Fantomex, thief extraordinary, at your service."

"Although today I am merely investigating a missing person problem," he adds, pulling out the pictures of two kids, a girl and a boy, maybe mid-teens. "There were seen last in the area. And you would be...?"

Poison Ivy has posed:
Her eyes narrow at the mention of thief, though she smiles sweetly enough, "Pamela Isley, although you may know me better as Poison Ivy." there it is again, that sweet but deadly smile. "Missing person, you say?" she peers at the photos and frowns a bit. "can't say I have seen them but feel free to look around. Did they run away from home..?" green eyes sparkle mildly with amusement. More than concern.

Fantomex has posed:
E.V.A. sends a 'told you' that Fantomex rather ignores. Maybe because of Ivy's cleavage. "No, not exactly," and he will look around, although he is quite sure Ivy is telling the truth. He can read her body language just fine.

"Poison Ivy, hmm? Yes, I have heard a bit about you," admits the thief. "They say your kiss can kill an adult man in five seconds." He slides close, "almost tempted to verify. For the sake of finding out the truth, of course. I am in an investigative mood today."

Poison Ivy has posed:
Poison Ivy smiles sweetly, uncrossing and crossing her legs again, "Mmm well you are always welcome to try your luck. Just don be surprised if you pass out or..Worse.." she grins wickedly, "Unless I do not wish harm on you, and on that I have yet to decide.."

Ivy glances down at the photos thoughtfully again, "So...If I find these kids, is there a reward..?" that might motivate her.
