Cast of Characters: Phantasm (Drago), Punisher
Tinyplot: Digging Up The Past

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nils Schwizer takes a lot of pride in appearances. Often times seen with a pressed suit and hair properly trimmed. There is rarely a time when anything is out of place. Its often times necessary for him. But it would be a like to say that vanity didn't have some part in it. Schwizer does like looking good.

And he is definitely not liking this.

Blindfolded and tied to a seat in a dark room. The rope pressing into his attire is RUINING his look and instead of being concerned for his well being upon waking up, lips press tightly, taking a deep breath. "How long are you going to sit there?"

Punisher has posed:
There's no answer. Nothing. There are boots moving around the room that Schwizer can hear, but the man doesn't answer.

For his part the Punisher is studying his subject. Everyones got their breaking points, their weak points. This is part of what he did during his time in special forces. Extraction Of Information was a specialty. Today, Schwizer is going to learn just how effective he is at it.

Then, the blindfold is pulled off; once again, that thin beam of light is all the man can see. The Punisher moves around to stand in front of the man, in the darkness. His hands are crossed with a K-bar in his right hand, but Schwizer can't see him at all.

"Tell me about the robbery."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
To Schwizer's credit, he doesn't quite react like one would generally assume. The force of the blindfold being taken off does move his head but it soon moves back into position, looking straight ahead. He doesn't bother trying to look to the source of the voice. "You're going to have to be more specific." He replies, tone bland, "There are a lot of robberies. Especially in Gotham."

Punisher has posed:
Normally, this would be where the Punisher launches a punch right at the mans nose, just enough to not break it, but definitely hurting.

The Punisher has plenty of patience though... and he needs what this man can tell him. Instead, he tests the man, testing his personality. "The one centered around the breach you no doubt know of by now."

The Punisher begins to pace around. His voice comes from the right, now. "The one with Drago involved."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The head tilts the slightest at the clarification to which instance of robbery he's interested in. "Drago." He repeats, "So you're the one I have to thank to have to come over here again." He sighs, "And to put so much effort too. Most fans just send him a letter."

Punisher has posed:
As he comes back around, the Punisher comes into the light, his skull vest and trenchcoat clearly visible. "I'm not a fan."

He leans forward, looking into the mans eyes. "I'm your worst nightmare." He grins, sadistically. "I wouldn't recommend playing games with me." He leans back, back into the darkness.

"Those who play games with me tend to live to regret it."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As the figure comes in to sight, Schwizer sits up a bit more, glancing to the man who has decided to come in to view. He's momentarily tempted to move his head back when Frank leans in but he keeps still, glaring back. "I never said I was playing games. If you're not a fan, why are you bothering with him? He's just a musician."

Punisher has posed:
"You pulled the GCPD off the case just as he was about to be interviewed. Why." It was a demand, not a question, and one that comes from behind him. "His mother was killed, and there were two robbers. The case had leads, and you shut it down. I want to know why."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Why wasn't he interviewed?" Schwizer snerks, before looking forward once more. Not bothering to turn to look at Frank. "Because he was TEN." He bites through a forced smile. "It would have been a waste of time and it wasn't necessary. It was handled. Doing it publicly would have caused more problems for him."

Punisher has posed:
From the left, a savage punch just enough to severely injure his nose comes in. It doesn't break it. Yet. Frank is very good at holding back during interrogations.

"Try that bullshit on me again, Schwizer. I dare you." He moves to the front, "Try it again. This time, without the lies."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Schwizer's eyes close in reaction as his head ends up jerking towards the right, turning his face from the point of initial impact. A gutteral sound of surpise escapes from his lips as he just let his head remained turned that way. Looking away from Frank as a result. "Child testimony is worthless." He spits out, "It almost always gets thrown out or ends up leading to a retrial. There is no point to it."

Punisher has posed:
Frank considered the man for a moment, before he continues, "Tell me about the robbers." He continued to walk around the chair, stopping by the tray of tools to grab a hammer, hefting it in his hand as he went.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Idiots." Schwizer replies matter of factly, scrunching his face up in reaction to the throbbing sensation in his nose. "Not even a day and we had them. Accomplice narced. Gunman eventually confirmed."

Punisher has posed:
"So what happened to him?" The Punisher continued, his voice from the right, now. "The accomplice seems to be having a good time of it, at least."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Yeah, well We had an either or situation come up." Schwizer replies, "Turns out it wasn't a robbery to begin with and there was another player So- Things got complicated. We could charge them. Or, cut a deal to avoid a repeat. Closure doesn't mean shit if you're dead."

Punisher has posed:
"I'm gonna need you to elaborate on that." The Punisher pressed.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Schwitzer, presses his lips together. Glaring to the wall. "Our gunman was severely indebted to an enemy of the kid's father who was nursing an extreme grudge. It was a hit."

Punisher has posed:
"A hit made to look like a robbery." Punisher reasoned out. "What sort of grudge, and who was the enemy?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
It doesn't matter anymore." Schwitzer replies, "He's dead. Been so for ..." He pauses, trying to count out the years. "About five years?"

Punisher has posed:
A hammer comes down suddenly, right on top of the pinky finger of the left hand.

The impact is precise, with just enough force to break the bone... but not enough tho shatter it. Yet.

"Try again. This time without the smartass."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"FUCK!" Well. So much for the composure. "Belmonte! Still dead!" Schwizer bites back, turning his head to look down to the broken finger. "G- Y- Fuu-."

Punisher has posed:
"See, that wasn't so difficult." Punisher noted aloud, his sympathy for the smartass agent at zero. Behind Schwizer, Punisher muttered into his commlink, "Get me a profile on the guy. I need links." He demand in a whisper to Microchip on the other end of the conversation.

Then, he came back around to the right, "Who was he?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Drug trafficker." Schwizer answers through gritted teeth, "Suspected ties elsewhere, took years to take him down. Died behind bars."

Punisher has posed:
"Why was it necessary to cut a deal?" The Punisher demanded, "Murder is pretty serious. You put trash like that down."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Schwizer doesn't answer immediately, seemingly still getting his senses together, "So is Conspiracy to commit murder. If we just stopped on the one and couldn't get his cooperation what's not to say he wouldn't just get another person to finish the job?"

The unbroken fingers of his hand curl tightly in in pain. "We did what we could, got the kid as far away from his father as possible without tipping our hand."

Punisher has posed:
"Tell me about Michael Drago and the grudge." The Punisher continues, from the front.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Schwizer turns his head, glancing to his hand, focusing on it. "Drago was set on running Belmonte out of business and was mostly successful. Belmonte sold tainted product and didn't care who to. Michael would have been the easiest way to get back at him."

Punisher has posed:
"You're hiding something. I can tell." The Punisher hisses out. Then, suddenly, there's a SMASH of that hammer literally an inch away from the left hand.

It could have easily have been his thumb.

"Do I need to get more creative with my methods here, agent? Do we need to start hearing screams until you actually give me some answers?" The hiss becomes icy cold as he circles from the front to the right.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The right lip twitches as Schwizer's eyes close. Not really wanting to know when the hammer hits. With the chair shaking from the force of the hit. The eye cautiously opens, looking over towards the left hand. "If I tell you and it goes public. It's going to have consequences for the wrong people."

Punisher has posed:
"The reason I do any of this is to punish those who prey on the innocent and ruin lives. I'm the *only* one who has the fortitude to do what needs to be done." The Punisher shoots back, "You don't get to treat me like a maniac who has no care about those hurt. I'm very precise in my war. I know all about keeping secrets and keeping the innocents out of it."

The Punisher adds as he brings up his Ka-Bar, dragging it along the back of his neck just slightly. It doesn't penetrate, but there's no mistaking what it is. "The sooner you stop jerking me around, the sooner the pain stops."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The sensation on the back of the neck is most definitely not welcome. Schwizer leans his head forward slightly to try and alleviate the pressure, before giving a sigh, "Drago's one of ours."

Punisher has posed:
"Can't say I'm not that surprised. I suspected he was a turncoat, seeing as he's in your PC database, but that makes more sense." Punisher notes, before he moves to the left, "Tell me about Moretti."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Schwizer, lets out a breath, "Closed session. He testified. Witsec's problem now. Likely probably wishing he took his chances with Belmonte instead by now."

Punisher has posed:
"Here I was thinkin' you were a piece of shit coverin' for a syndicate because you were on the take." The Punisher offhandedly commented. "Turns out you're just willing to cut deals with people who murder innocents. Almost as bad." As Punisher moves behind Schwizer again, he whispers once again, "Microchip, I need confirmation of this witsec. Depending on the file, he'll probably still fit the code. Guilty is guilty."

Stepping back to the left, "So you let the asshole into witsec. What for?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"The same reason why Belmonte's hearing wasn't public." Schwizer replies, taking a deep breath, "His activities raised some Homeland Security concerns."

Punisher has posed:
"Do tell." Punisher continued on. "You want me to not fuck up your operation? I need the facts, agent. You should be familar with my work since I got out of prison. I've hit enough drug cartels to be on your radar."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Schwizer scowls a bit before relenting, "Because of Moretti's... cooperation, a cell was shut down and Belmonte's case was fast-tracked. By removing Belmonte, that cuts down on the chance of future retaliation. It's not perfect, but its a win of sorts."

He pauses, "The overall objective is to weaken the profitability from dealing in high hit areas. Also to help monitor current routes being utilized and make note of anything that may not be, drug related. Identify the players. Build the files. Find the routes. Communicate to whichever bureau that needs to know.

Punisher has posed:
"Makes sense. I never go after the agencies without solid proof one of you is corrupt." The Punisher states, "If they're in the system being processed, I leave them alone. I don't have a statute of limitations, so when I heard about this case, I decided to check into it. Sounded like a clear case of police incompetence at first." He stops in front of Schwizer, "Now I see it was just LE cutting corners. At least you're trying." Then, a change of subject, "What's Savio's status?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"A little less time on the field after the murder. Still pops in when he needs to make an appearance. But he's not the only person planted in." Schwizer replies, voice betraying a bit of concern, "Why?"

Punisher has posed:
"Because it breaks my heart when kids think the worst of their parents." The Punisher states after a long, long minute of silence. "My family died because the DA of New York at the time was playing with lives as you people did, and now Michael thinks his father is a gigantic asshole for no good reason."

Punisher steps into the light again, his ice cold neutrality looks into Schwizer's eyes, "Now, Frank Castle is long dead with his family... but that boy doesn't even have that sort of closure." He leans forward just a bit, "I just wanted to know why Savio is being a heartless asshole to his kid. You answered the question; he takes his work more seriously than his family."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
The agent sits quiet. Which is kind of impressive considering the amount of throbbing in his hands and nose. "He was already deep in when Michael was born. Savio was good at his job. Sold the part well But you know who was better at selling it? His wife. To keep up with the limping schtick? She'd slip up time to time but she was mostly spot on." He sort of glances towards Punisher, "I'm not saying it's not a shit thing to do. But they decided on that together. To show too much sentiment towards someone is painting a giant target on their backs. So better he thinks that way."

Punisher has posed:
He looks over the man. Taking a trauma kit from the table, he begins to take out what he needs to work on the wounds made so far. "People don't tend to understand what that shit does to a family. I got out of the special forces specifically to avoid doin' that to my family." The rumagging stops briefly, "Fat lot of dead that did."

He takes out what he needs, and begins to work on dealing with the injuries sustained, "I'm not gonna go after anyone for being a shitty parent, but it just doesn't make any sense why he'd put his kid through that kind of hell." He moves onto the hand, setting the bone before he puts on the splint, "For what it's worth, I brought you in here as a possible corrupt agent. So far, I'm not seein' anythin' but someone who cuts deals for shit that shouldn't be given deals for."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Yeah, that's not worth much." Schwizer replies, apparently not accepting the apology, "But what would be worth something for you" He pauses, tilting his head to look to Frank's ear, "AND YOUR FRIEND, not to go sharing what was said heYEAAARrrrrre." Bonesetting is not fun.

Punisher has posed:
"You're mistakin' me if you think I'm tryin' to apologize. I'm not. I did what I had to do. I've been doin' this for a couple decades now almost, Schwizer. Corrupt LE are part of the war. If I thought you were a serious case, you wouldn't be walkin' out of here alive." Punisher icily replies. "And you'd be walkin' out with more than just a broken finger."

Once it's all fixed up, The Punisher stands, and heads for the tray again. "I've set the bone and dealt with your nose. You'll be fine for a little bit. I've got work to do." The Punisher takes a needle, moves over to Schwizer, and puts it into his neck. "You'll be fine..." He says, as the tranq is put into him.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Feeling the needle, Schwizer's eyes widen a bit. Frank's words not at all comforting. "Don't tell him..." He's not really sure if Frank responded back but soon, he's drifting off to sleep.

Punisher has posed:
<<Frank, I have the information you wanted, along with the address>> Microchip finally states over the commlink once the man was sleeping. The ropes are untied and food prepped in a corner, along with a sleeping bag. Schwizer will at least have a comfortable stay in the safehouse while the Punisher goes to deal with business.

"I should be back in three days at most, if I use the jet." The Punisher states, moving for the door. "He'll be fine until then."
