Cast of Characters: Mockingbird, White Fox

Mockingbird has posed:
Summer's in the city and so is a Mockingbird. Bobbi's out here on the streets and avenues in the big city following up on a lead. But first...but first....she needs to snag things to munch on. And catch up with liasons and things, too. Ami Han in particular. Bobbi's currrently at a food truck eyeing up what they got on offer. It's not Triskelion level eats but for the SHIELD agent on the go...it's definitely more useful. Plus Bobbi's got a $50 to use up...

White Fox has posed:
Ami scoffs a little as she spots Mockingbird at the food truck, closing in in her suit. "You could have chosen a coffe house," she remarks, gesturing to the line of those along the street. "There's plenty and they offer a little privacy in comparison to... on the street."

Mockingbird has posed:
Bobbi looks over with a glint in her eye. "Who said we were going to talk out here? I'm not a rookie. Though really, I just like the food truck stuff for the sheer ease of grabbing it on the go. Let's find a coffee house then" she nods keenly. Like she's going to head back to the Triskelion when out here, but hey, first coffee house works for her.

Looking over to Ami, Bobbi gestures toward that coffee house and sets off for it. "Come on, we'll talk in here" she says and looks pleased. Ami was the one that got her thinking about coffee houses. Ami's useful for many things to both SHIELD and Bobbi personally.

White Fox has posed:
Ami Han sighs a little as she follows Bobbi to the chosen venue, ordering a tea for herself while they wait. "There's something like an etiquette of these things. You meet in a place where people meet. Not where peope grab something to just fulfil their needs for food. Diners, coffee houses, restaurants."

Mockingbird has posed:
"You got a point" Bobbi admits ordering a coffee and slides into a seat. "I was actually on my way around the city however, and was heading to look into things. Though what've you been up to?" she asks and has grabbed a table that's private as can be...hopefully.

White Fox has posed:
"This and that. The defense of the Republic of Korea is after all not an easy task." Ami notes as she takes her mug and works on the teabag in it, eying Bobbi over the edge of it. "And you?"

Mockingbird has posed:
Bobbi stirs her coffee and smiles a little as she sets the coffee down. "Oh a little of everything, you know? I've been working on things. The defense of this country is the same though. It's a full time job however so..." she says falling quiet. "it's not a picnic really"

White Fox has posed:
Ami Han nods, carefully eying Bobbi, always waiting. "So, you didn't call me to exchange pleasentries, yes? Because otherwise I better get going again."

Mockingbird has posed:
Bobbi snorts. "Nah. I've things on my mind really" she says sipping her coffee. "But I can do social calls too, alright, social calls with hammering on doors with my staves though" she admits and sips her coffee more, settling back and relaxing.

"I got things on my mind. I was going to destress and relax. Want to come join me after our shifts end?"

Yeah like workaholic SHIELD agents get downtime all the time...but hey Bobbi can be optimistic right?

White Fox has posed:
An eyebrow raises, the brown eyes looking straight into Boobi's almost as if he tries to pierce her soul. "I had plans for the evening. If it is an open social event, I could put some of my people around here on notice..."

Mockingbird has posed:
Bobbi laughs watching Ami, "It could be an open social events. I've just no idea where in this fine city" Bobbi says sipping her coffee more. "I'm just trying, well, trying to balance out work and life. Which honestly...not easy"

Sure, Bobbi. Sure, Bobbi's not exactly doing a great job of balancing both. SHIELD agents/Avengers don't seem to get downtime. Still Bobbi looks over to Ami again.

"You had plans for this evening?"

White Fox has posed:
"So, you were trying to invite me to a place you don't even know yet to an event you have no idea of what to it shall be? That's... honetly a bit disconcearning. You should seriously consider what you are trying to invite to before extending an invite."

Ami sighs a little, giving obbi an excusling look before pulling out a phone with a little sheep dangly on it, checking the screen a couple moments, swiping on it, then tucking it away. "I had. They involve taking a flight back to Seoul, but if you are not against an NIS relaxation evening with Karaoke I could give you a lift, though I won't join that event, I have different obligations."

Mockingbird has posed:
"Welll it's not my event. it's a few of the rookies who put this together and they won't tell me all the details...so...I'm kind of stuck in the middle" Bobbi says. The NIS relaxation? That gets a chuckle from Bobbi. "I'll pass on that thank you..but I'll also finish my coffee, get my things and 'ask'" she says doing that air quote thing with her fingers, "What I'm being dragged into. I'm sure I'll get told in due time, but....I'd like to know s well" Bobbi shrugs. "You're heading back to South Korea?"

White Fox has posed:
"No, I am heading back to the Republic of Korea." A fine distinguishing, there was no *north* *south*, both claimed the whole. "Ami's eyes are cold for a short moment, then smooth over. "So you should!"

Mockingbird has posed:
Raising her eyebrow at Ami, Bobbi nods. "Korea" she says and looks neutral about the cold eyes for a moment. That doesn't bother her much really. Instead she nods. "Ah, so the NIS is flying you home. Good. You don't fly commercial huh?"

Images of Ami hustling through JFK airport flit through Bobbi's mind as she mentally facepalms. Nah, Ami's not that type...least not to Bobbi's knowledge to endure airports.

White Fox has posed:
"Flying commercially would be very inconvenient. Some days I cross the date line two times." Ami explains. "Though I could land on JFK or some other commercial place if needed. In any way, I hope your evening planning goes to your liking. I got a meeting..." a moment she consults her phone for the local and Korean time. "in about 20 hours to catch." 13 of those were the pure time difference, so illusionary.
