Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy had...last time anyone saw her a few days ago, been brought home to Buffy's little sister. Which gives her more reason to be out here in the big city. Caause her shop may be out in Bloodhaven now...but...she's still curious...and has ended up here. With no coffee, but a bag of glazed Belgian chocolate donuts. Alright, so they are donuts she just dumped Belgian chocolate on, the 'on clearence' type of Belgian choclate sure...but....it's hand made chocolate donuts...and she's looking for the lounge, somewhere to sit. She's got a love/hate thing with music, because growing up in Montana, she had to learn piano and, yes, hated it.It's giving her nightmares of forced piano lessons. She's actualy here because...um....it's out of rhe it's going to rain at any point in time... skies. And did she mention she's got chocolate donuts?

She's thankfully not in four pawed form, but she did leave the Summers house protected by way of a big, heavy (albeit not one she uses) wrench with instructions to beat anyone over the head that isn't allowed in...

No way she's letting Buffy, Dawn et al near her guns. She's not wanting to have /that/ on her conscience thank you very much...

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
As Mercy steps in to the studio, Larry from his post glances over to look to the woman curiously. He hadn't been informed of any non-regulars having session work this Sunday so the curiousity is piqued. "Can I help you, Miss?"

From the stairwell, a faint conversation can be heard between two men.

"You're mad, you know that?"

"Oh come on, I already finished the one project and the other's going to take time to get off the ground so I might as well."

Castiel has posed:
It was raining. Half of him wants to be miserable in the rain; half of him wants to be plunked in Josie's. Instead, he was here, checking on Mercy. Castiel really should practice "doors" more often. Instead he just *appears* beside Mercy.

"It is a dismal day, you better have had a good reason to call on me." Grumble. And, no, she didn't ask him. "Well?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Aaaah! Sudden appearing Castiel! "Uh....hi" Mercy says offering a donut...and one to Larry, too. "Um...yes, I was hoping to get out of the rain and work on a piece of piano music" she offers looking sheepish. "Is that a problem? Or do you have umbrellas?"

Ah the joys of your car being in a whole other city. Least she's not doing that wet dog thing. She does smile to Castiel. "Hey, how's the black and white movie watching going?" she asks, "Want a donut? I hand made them by pouring Belgian chocolate over them"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Larry the guard blinks as another man enters in. Also not a familiar person which makes him look to him curiously but Mercy's request draws his attention, He seems to consider the request and nods over to some chairs in the main MAIN lobby area separate from the canteen area and closest to him, the chairs do not differ in quality from the canteen area furniture but it is in an easier to monitor area. "The rest of the building is off limits for security reasons, but you can wait out the rain over there." He looks over to Castiel, "Can I help you too?" He asks, glancing to the stairwell at the sound of the voices before looking back to Mercy AND Castiel.

As the two men on the stairs go around the turn of the steps, a blonde man looking to be in his early to mid 30s comes into view, "Yeah, but you're still promoting the first, the second is going to involve a tour schedule and the third is PROBABLY going to involve you constantly going to a shoot location. That's a LOT of traveling, Nick. You're going to get burnt out."

The identified Nick, still dressed in his Sunday church attire soon follows. He's a tad shorter than the blonde, visibly appearing to be in his early 20s, and with longer and darker hair. The shorter musician frowns, following after Wade in the descent down the stairs. "Come on, it won't be that different than late last year."

Wade pauses on the steps, giving an unamused look, shaking his head, "That was a special case and you KNOW it."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks from Larry to Castiel and takes a step tward a chair. "Alright thanks" she smiles. Okay, no free donut handouts for Larry? More for Mercy and company...as Mercy looks pleased. Shaking her head she looks to Castiel, "I found a lot of old movies at a thrift store in Bloodhaven if you'd like those?" she offers with a hopeful look.

Castiel has posed:
Peers.. "Donuts. You made them? With chocolate?" Castiel takes one hand out of his trench coat pockets, leaving the other in, and leans. "What do you want in return?" Definitely deciding, his hand resting on his chin.

Larry is almost ignored. Almost.

"Me? Should you not mean can I help *you*?" Really. He's looked up and down. "You don't look like you are injured." And thinking upon it, he looks deeper.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Larry blinks at Castiel's comment, "I'm not sure what you mean. You came into this building so I thought you might need something." He looks to the interaction between the two, "But I see you two are together. If you'd like to wait out the rain with her, there are plenty of seats in the area I just pointed out."

Despite the current situation being a little odd. Larry is for the most part content. The inevitable bad days aside, he likes his job for the most part. The business does what it can to take care of their employees and the regulars tend to treat him well. The only real drawbacks are when outsiders come in trying to go after their clients.

A lingering glance of concern is given to the younger musician and friend before Wade starts going down the steps again, "I still think you'd have done well to accept that offer." Consistent schedules could do wonders for some.

Nick thinks back to the ex-drummer from Five Times Novel bearing his fangs for a moment. He frowns, shaking his head. "We're going to disagree on that one."

"That we will." Wade replies with a sigh, eyes rolling for a moment as he leads to the landing. He glances over to Mercy and Castiel curiously. "Everything going okay, Larry?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy gives Castiel a puzzled look. "Yes I made these donuts, why would you think I wanted anything in return?" she asks and offers Castiel one. hey he didn't say no.

So see, donuts are like little chocolate coated bits of happpiness according to Mercy. She's been up too early, go figure.

On the other hand, she gives Wade and Nick a wave, fingers smeared in chocolate. "Hey, your guard let me stay here out of the rain" Mercy says with a nod. "And I got company it looks like too" Mercy admits. She's not biting into a donut. Yet.

Castiel has posed:
Larry is healthy. Castiel hrms. "No long term illnesses. You're healthy." He shrugs. "Go along then."

Castiel does NOT get the term "doorman", and even less the man.

Mercy gets attention then. "Maybe I will try some." They do sound good. And he looks at the men who Mercy *now* waves at. "Do you know everyone in this building?"

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Larry looks over to the owner of the studio, smiling, nodding to what Mercy says, "Everything's fine Mr. Shaw." He pauses, looking over towards Castiel at the odd observation. "...Thanks? Are you a doctor?"

Wade glances over to Mercy and then to Castiel, glance staying on the Angel a bit longer, seemingly assessing them before giving a nod, looking back to the guard, "Alright Larry. I trust you. None of the clients booked for today have any special restrictions requested so the other rest areas are open too. Just in case the rain lasts longer than expected."

Nick comes up from behind, pausing to look between Larry, Castiel, and Mercy. His glance lingering on Mercy as his head tilts curiously.

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy spins on a heel and looks to Nick. "What?" she asks and looks closer. "Aren't you that guy from TV?" she adds and then glances to Castiel. "I don't know everyone here, no. I just pick the strangest places to hide from the rain in" Mercy offers, finally biting into a donut. Well, Castiel's right. They are good.

Even if mercy used up a good chunk of her supply of Belgian chocolate on these things.

Looking over back to Castiel again, Mercy gives him a worried look. "Why am I getting weird looks? Did I do something weird?" she asks. Ah, Mercy...

Castiel has posed:
"No. I am an angel." Castiel forgot that he should be announcing that to everyone. "Why? You do not need a doctor. I have looked all over you, inside and out, and beyond a scratch on the finger, nothing is wrong. Your scratchI am required to leave it, unless it is larger. Why? Do you want your scratch healed?"

The humans are hard to make out. Heal this. Don't heal that. Leave that scar!

Mercy is given a querying look. Did he do something wrong?

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick blinks as Mercy seemingly recognizes him. Sort of. "There's a lot of people on TV." He replies back, "Not sure if I'm 'THAT' guy...Mechanic, right?"

Wade turns his head looking to Nick and then to Mercy before giving a slight smirk, "Well. I'm going to go make my rounds. Nick, why don't you take a few out here for a bit? You could stand to take a break." Not giving his friend a chance to say no, Wade turns, heading down the restricted hallway. A bit of extra urgency to his

Larry looks to Castiel quietly at the admission. "That's lovely. I'm fine. The chairs to wait in are over there."

Nick looks over to Castiel curiously, with an explanation like that, how can he not? "...What's your name?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
"I..don't think he's buying it" Mercy whispers to Castiel with a look to Larry. She's got a snide remark in mind but keeps quiet, sitting obediently witth a quiet vhew of her donut. Looking from Castiel to Nick to the departing Wade, Mercy sighs. "Alright, someebody's running away" she jokes looking bemused by Wade's getting outta the lobby thing.

Castiel has posed:
Now Nick is contemplated.

There was a day when Castiel would be known. Alas, 2000 years ago, was that date. Nowadays humans didn't remember the Heavenly Host at all, except maybe Michael, and Gabriel.

"Castiel. Once of the Choir. Once of His right hand men during battle. Now banished from His Presence until I apologize. Who are you?"

Nick got the full name. Sorta.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Wade is long gone now while Larry has slunk back to his post, monitoring the doorway while the musician has ended up entertaining the professed Angel and the as yet not confirmed donut weilding mechanic.

Mike blinks at the first part of the introduction, seemingly remembering the drunken ramblings of a certain cheeseburger loving hunter who occasionally passed out on the floor of the condo he shared with Wade. Interesting. And well, if it's full names Castiel prefers...

"Michael Nicholas Raphael Drago." He supplies, throwing in the confirmation name because... well. Angel. "But most people call me Nick. I'm assuming some call you Cas?"

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Joining in the full name party? "Mercedes Athena Thompson" Mercy says and looks amused. "Don't ask. My mom's a PTA president and I haven't seen her in years" she says and looks to Castiel. "You really are an angel? Alright" Mercy shrugs, no big deal when she's the daughter of Coyote...and a bullriding groupie, apparently.

Mercy glances to Nick. "You're named after two Catholic saints and angels?" she adds. "I could tell you the history of those names but we don't have all day, do wee? Castiel's an interesting name though"

Castiel has posed:
Castiel nods, pleased with the full introduction. "Then I shall call you Nick. You can call me Castiel or Cas. It doesn't matter much." And anything else Nick cared to call him out of his hearing. Dean? Well, he gets to call him an asshole. Dean was special. "You are named after my brethren. Rafael heals things. Michael is a dick."

Like Mercy, he could tell him the history and then some.

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"My mom was very religious." Mike replies, looking over to Mercy before looking back to Cas, "Sounds about right. With the exception of a few, most of the police officers I've encountered are dicks as well. Probably explains the patronage." He pauses, "And I picked Raphael for my confirmation because of that."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy actually snorts. "Oh, the things I can't tell my pastor" she nods to Castiel. "I like you already, Castiell. And to think we've only met twice before this, you got pizza and crashed my garage watching movies the last time" she nods and looks from Nick to Cas. "Casablanca's next on my list if either of you want to join in. I didn't call bad movie night yet. Figured I'd mix it up a bit" mercy smirks.

She's guessing Cas can explain history better than she...which isn't a shock, really. mercy looks over to Nick again and munches on a donut like it's no big deal. "Cas, drpop by my shop if you need anything, you know my door's always open, right? Just bring Belgian chocolate and we're good. I got your back" she adds and smiles. "You need anything, get a hold of me, and I'll help with it. Hell I need to get you a car one of these days don't I?"

Castiel has posed:
Ah! "Many religious people choose with little care for the name. Michael is His number one. He looks after the Holy Choir. Each and every one. At one time, he was.." Castiel frowns. "But then all of us were different then. I was a big prick."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
"Well, considering the stories she'd tell, I think she knew what they represented." Mike replies, a bit in defense of his mother, "It's just, I can understand the Nicholas one. He's generally associated with charity. But the Michael one doesn't make sense considering my last name means dragon."

Mercy Thompson has posed:
Mercy looks to Castiel then Nick. Given Castiel's well...an angel, she can't get a good read on him, magic wise. Then she gets a look to Nick again. Great, her magic sense is all over the place. Well...the answer to that is chocolate.

Or chocolate donuts, even. So she smiles and listens, "Hey, I live in Bloodhaven so...I can attest to that" she shrugs and settles back in her chair again not saying much. There's not much to say really, so...she listens and watches them both.

Castiel has posed:
Castiel laughs at Nick. "Ask me sometime. That's if you haven't figured it out."

Phantasm (Drago) has posed:
Nick looks over to Mercy as she agrees on the cop thing, giving a slight smile before he looks back to Castiel. Tilting his head curiously. "I just might..."

The light in the lobby kind increases as the rain fades away. Glimpsing upwards the faintest refractions of light as the remnants of the storm twist the sunlight in a happy manner of promise.

Larry, who was kind of weirded out by the bits of conversation he heard smiles, "Looks like the rain is gone."
