Synopsis: The new girl gets punked. Right? Cause all that crazy stuff can't be for real!
Cast of Characters: Aegis, SpyderByte, Faraday, Nightcrawler, Nightingale, Ted Gammage

Aegis has posed:
First impressions were everything.

That's what Xio had been taught her entire life. Not that she cared but the words had come back to her upon her arrival at the fancy mansion. She had been recruited by Jean Grey and Ororo Munroe. Which is to say she'd been placed in their custody as part of a legal deal. As they drove through the heavy gates, up the long drive and the mansion had become visible, Xio had let out a low whistle at the fanciness.

It had been late, students in bed. She got put in a guest room for the night so as not to disturb a potential roommate. This morning, she had spent most of her time with teachers and counselors, finishing up the paperwork that would make her an official student. She would start classes tomorrow. Just in time for the weekend!

At the moment, she was in the rec room, sort of wandering along and eyeing all the fancy electronics they had set up. Gaming systems of every type, a big screen tv, surround sound.

She could get quite a few bucks if she could pawn those...

SpyderByte has posed:
Having snagged Indira earlier after tapping on her door, Jeremy was all: 'Hey, the new girl is here. I totally found out about it the other day when I was totally not snooping on data and according to her phone that I'm tracking she just made her way to the rec room and we should go meet her!'

So, that was the current plan at the moment. Meeting the new girl. Slowly, Jeremy's head can be seen peeking around the door frame to the new girl, dressed in his full goth regalia. He has so much black on he could be considered a walking shadow. He gives Indi a nudge, then sends her a text with a blink of the eyes. << She looks really tough. >>

He's also staring. Because he's weird. There is a light clear of the throat as he slips his way inside, chains jingling against his legs as he lifts a hand upwards shyly.

Faraday has posed:
Indira made sure to remind Jeremy that the less he told her, the less she had to find reasons not to admit that she knew. As the goth boy peeks around the corner, she comes rolling in around him and into the room and gives him a quick nudge of her elbow as she does. "Hey!" She booms, in no way subtle nor giving much warning.

"Welcome to the madness. I guess I can finally pass over my 'new chick' card. I'm Indi, that's Jeremy." She indicates by jerking a thumb to him. "Heard they brought you in last night."

Aegis has posed:
Hearing the voices, Xio turned around just in time to see the dark headed guy peeking around a corner only for the other gal to just walk around him to announce their presence. Then the shyer of the two joined her, giving his little wave.

Xio had her hair down, falling around her shoulders in wild waves. She wore a maroon top with long sleeves but short enough to bare her midriff. Her legs were covered in a pair of gray yoga pants, a plaid shirt in blue and white tied around her waist. She'd had it on earlier but got tired of it so tied it there instead of having to carry it. Sneakers covered her feet.

When she spoke, it was with a very obvious Hispanic accent. Puerto Rican for those who could pick out the various dialects that well. "Yeah, it was late by the time we drove up from New York. They put me in a guest room. It was pink." She makes a face as though they threw her into the depths of hell. "Said I'll likely get a roommate but I sure as hell don't want one if they insist on pink. I'll go back to juvie first." Then she is walking away from the electronics and closer to the pair, looking up at them. And up some more. She was pretty petite.

"Xiomara Batista. Xio to my friends. So for now, Xiomara for you."

Nightcrawler has posed:
On the other side of the rec room, there is the sound of rushing air leaving a confined space, and the appearance of one of the residents of the school, who just can't seem to stay away from playing the part of teacher.

He's crouching on one of the chairs, his tail drawing up, his glowing eyes narrowing -- and he wears a bright yellow T-Shirt with the Xavier School X on the shoulder, and a pair of pink bermuda shorts.

    "Allo~!" he greets "... am I interruping?"

SpyderByte has posed:
<< I am Jeremy. >> The Goth's voice comes out through the speakers of his phone as he holds it up. << I am a technopath. I talk to technology that is linked through a series of networks. Which, is technically the entire world. So, I can talk to the entire world. My real voice is really bad so I just use my phone. I augmented the software to sound like my voice, but it's a soft softer and I enjoy the tone. So, this is what I sound like, but always polite. It's nice to meet you Xiomara. I was in Juvie also but that was because I exposed a number of government officials from trying to pass legislation to hurt mutants and I got caught. It was not fun. I'm glad to be here. Eveyrone is nice and the food is really good. Your room won't be pink by the way. I shouldn't know that but I do because I know everything. I hope that we can become friends. I'm new here too. >>

That is a lot of rambling coming out of a phone's speakers. Even as his voice comes out of the phone, he is staring at the ground, stubbing his foot against the ground a few times as he toes it. He's practically hiding behind Indi. She's really strong and knows MMA. Always hide behind the exploding meat shield.

Nightingale has posed:
Was there ever a wrong time for mac 'n cheese?

In the wake of an ooey, gooey, delectably cheesy aroma that seems to once again be wafting through the halls and into the rec room, a familiar winged young woman appears. She had a set of pink silk pajamas on--the sort with long pants, and a button-down shirt with elbow length sleeves. Her footfall makes little to no sound, as her feet are encased in floofy slippers that look like a pair of Old English Sheepdogs. She has a rather large bowl in hand, and it's filled to the brim with the source of the smell, which is borne aloft through the room on eldritch wisps of steam.

Shannon stops dead in her tracks when she sees a new student, her white, feathery wings spreading out ever so slightly behind her. "Oh, hello!" she chimes, her lips curling upwards in a smile.

She coughs lightly as, it seems, Kurt bamf's in right next to her, waving one wing to help clear some of the indigo smoke. "guten Abend, Herr Wagner!"

Faraday has posed:
"Fair 'nuff." Says Indira, sounding entirely unbothered as the line is drawn. The tall girl looks distinctly Indian, but her accent is all New York. "Pink, huh? I know they were repainting some of them, but maybe they didn't get that far. Not everyone has roommates, but there's space for it. Welcome to crash with me if you want. I don't snore, and I don't steal snacks."

As one blue man poofs in, her grin widens as she gives Kurt a wiggle of her fingers. "Hello, Mister Wagner. We were just here meeting Xiomara, the new student. You hear we got to help stop a robbery the other night? Fun times. No one got shot."

"Oh, right." She glances back over to Xio then and says slowly, "So, uuuuhhhh, how much did they tell you about this place?"

Aegis has posed:
Xio's eyes go a little wide at the continuous share of information from the telephone being held up by Jeremy. When it finally winds down to a the end, she gives a faint smirk. "Sure thing, Jeremy. One of my besties back home didn't to talk much. Had a lisp and it bothered him for people to hear it. I didn't care. I just beat their asses if they said something to him." She says this conversationally, as though it's no big deal.

Then there is that noise in the corner and the smell of brimstone. The woman who was all good a moment ago turns and is staring wide eyed at the blue fuzzy guy in the corner. She is about to cross herself when the angel comes in the other side of the room.

"What the fu--" At least she manages not to say the word completely as she looks from the mac and cheese eating angel to the stinky demon looking guy.

"Well the said it was a school for mutants." She looks over at Indi then to the two newcomers. "Guessing that is what we have here. And by the greeting, you're a teacher?" That is aimed at Kurt. Then another glance to Shannon. "And we get to run around in our sleep stuff? Cause I sleep naked so that might cause some problems." Indi may rethink that roommate offer. If that is even a true statement. Which it isn't.

Nightcrawler has posed:
There were wrong times for mac 'n cheese, but as it's even served (kinda!) in space, the rec room is not a bad place for it.

Kurt gives a fangy smile to Shannon "Guten abend!" and stepping off the chair he had appeared in, he straightens up. "Used to be... now I am something of an ad-hoc advisor, and occasionally oversee field trips and substitute classes, should there be need. Kurt Wagner, Miss Batista. It is a pleasure to meet your acquaintence!" he gives a smile.

"Did you halt a robbery the other night? I'm very glad that no one was injured. It must have been quite the adventure!" Kurt replies to Indira, giving a smile to her and Jeremy.

SpyderByte has posed:
There is a wild blush upon Jeremy's face at the words of sleeping naked. He rubs at the back of his neck, coughing out a soft laugh. "I-I-I-I h-aa-aaave a b-b-uhad sss-t-t-utter." He says in his soft, raspy voice before he gives his phone another squeeze.

<< I just like using my phone because it's easier. I can speak as fast as I think with my phone. Yes, Mister Wagner, the New Mutants stopped a robbery the other day during a field trip with Doctor McCoy. It was easy. >>

He gives a smile over to Shannon, nose sniffing at the air from behind Indi at the scent of Mac and Cheese. << I sleep with clothes on. >> As if he has to be assuring. No naked nerd wandering the halls.

Nightingale has posed:
"Yes we did, Herr Wagner. Jeremy did a wonderful job as..." Here, Shannon glances at Jeremy, the corners of her lips tugging upwards in a quirky half-grin. "...the brains of the operation. Indi was utterly fantastic for her part, distracting the gunmen with Ted and Adam, while I got the two hostages out of the bank. And not only did Ted clear the way for the escape of those two poor souls, he and Adam also did well making sure the thieves stayed put till the authorities could get there."

It was perhaps a polite way of saying the bank needed a new door.

Xiomara's lingual near-miss and reference to sleeping habits draws a soft chuckle from the winged girl. Well, almost a giggle. Okay, maybe a definite giggle. "Not the worst I've heard or used," she says. "Just be careful how you pronounce 'Bunsen burner' in science class." That was all she would say, with an impish little grin in Kurt's general direction. As she turns back to Xiomara, she shifts her bowl to balance in her left arm, offering her hand in greeting. "My name's Shannon. Welcome to the school!"

Smiling back at Jeremy, she nods. "It was easy that time. We were lucky. I'll feel a whole lot better when we get a lot more training and teamwork under our belts, though."

Aegis has posed:
"Well if there wasn't a teacher here, I wouldn't have edited myself," Xiomara admits. Then she corrects that. "Sort of teacher. Nice to meet you, Mr. Wagner."

She looks over at Shannon as she explains more, now her air narrowing a bit.. "You all punking me? Stopping back robberies? I mean I didn't think it would get out that quick but really, you can stop with the crazy talk about stopping thieves and stuff. I get it." She crosses her arms over her midriff, going on the defensive a bit.

Nightcrawler has posed:
"... although we don't /encourage/ our students to put themselves at risk, many of them have caught 'heroism'." Kurt replies with a wry smile, giving a sidelong glance to Xiomara. "Why, did you have something to add? Or admit?" he purses his lips a bit, looking up, and rubs the back of his neck. "It has been some time since I left the seminary, I don't think it applies if confessions are issued to me."

SpyderByte has posed:
<< Our bank robbery had nothing to do with your bank robbery. By the way, I could make your record disappear in five seconds, but it'd get me in trouble with Miss Grey instead. If she found out. I could hide it. I should stop thinking outloud. Stupid phone. Please don't remember any of this Mister Wagner. I am absolutely not spying on student files again or researching their juvenile hall records or cataloguing ... >>

Jeremy stabs his foot into the ground again a few times.

<< I have an addiction to data streams and they're very gossipy and I can't help it. If I ignore the data, they scream at me. LaToya gets really upset if I do not talk to her at least once a day during breakfast. She's our toaster. She's bilingual! She speaks fluent Chinese because she was made in China, but she named herself after LaToya Jackson because she was the sister who was overlooked. >>

There is a bit of a wobble from the Goth as he heads over to the couch to slink down into it. It's in the far back. Near the corner. It's darker there.

Nightingale has posed:
"And then some of us wind up having trouble find us whether we like it or no, Herr Wagner," Shannon retorts, rolling her eyes, a good-natured chuckle turning quickly into a light cough. Not that she'd have any tales to tell, dear reader... right? Right! "It's not 'heroism', anyways. It's just doing what you have to do."

Looking back at Xiomara, she shakes her head. "No, not kidding at all. Sometimes, I wish I was, because sometimes when folks get hurt on these things, guess who gets to deal with it?" She lets out something of a sigh, then just smiles as she looks around at everyone. "There's still a lot of the mac 'n cheese I made left, if anyone wants some?"

Faraday has posed:
Indira Bhandari slowly rubs the back of her neck with one hand as she glances between Jeremy and Kurt, and there's just a thin and awkward smile on her face. "Well, hey, there were hostages. So really, we were going to be witnesses anyway so we figured, hey, better witnesses to just a bank robbery than a /murder/... right? At least the guns were fakes. That probably would have gone a whoooole lot different if they weren't."

The talk about the toaster dawns on her them and she gives a quiet clearing of her throat. "Oh, well, uh. I guess I'll stay away from the appliances. Zappy fingers and all, I don't want to accidentally fry anyone you know."

There's a quick, helpless sort of shrug given towards Xiomara. "But yeup, we're all mutants. So, surprise! Us three and two other guys are teamed up on sort of a group... development league? That sounds awful. I don't know how to phrase it right now."

Aegis has posed:
When Jeremy just throws 'your bank robbery' out there, Xio's eyes narrow a bit at him. But then he continues babbling and she starts to catch on. This is just him. How he talks and functions. He thinks it, it comes out of the closest speaker perhaps. Something to keep in mind if she's got secrets to keep. First, don't keep them on the phone. Or say them in front of the toaster.

"You named the toaster?" All thoughts of being punked seem to be gone with that moment. Then something occurs to her and she is going to regret asking. "Wait, who is her sister? I mean there has to be a Janet if she chose LaToya."

Then a glance over to Shannon. Indira. Kurt. "I don't need to confess. Innocent until proven otherwise." Wait, this isn't juvie. Yet, old habits.

"So you guys team up and play hero? That's...strange. You got villains here too?" Cause she's pretty sure that should be the team she gets assigned to. "So everyone is a mutant here. Guessing teachers too, unless you aren't as fuzzy as you look and I want you to know I'm barely resisting coming over and trying to see if you feel like velvet since you look like it," she admits. Then back the group at large. "So Shannon mentioned something about healing. Jeremy talks to tech. And Indira is zappy. That about it?"

Nightcrawler has posed:
Kurt's cheeks darken a moment, and his eyes narrow as he gives a grump. "I will have you know that although I value curiosity, I also value and respect personal space."

He sticks his tongue out and goes 'nyeeh'. "Please refrain from touching the adults. You have no idea where I've been." the elf replies, his tail giving a warning sweep behind him. "And I beleive the Toaster named herself, be nice to LaToya."

And then he leans against a handy couch side, and weighs his words, crossing his arms.

"No. We don't have a 'heroes' and 'villains' teams. What we have are many young mutants who need help, and we are here to help them prepare for whatever awaits them outside the gates of the Xavier Institute. To the world outside this is the most exclusive boarding school in the world. Inside?"

    He sweeps one hand about.

"Xavier's will give you the tools to live your life outside these walls, though we would prefer you be on your best behavior, inside and out. And yes, the majority of the teachers here are mutants, even though some pass for human, and some... do not." he gives his toothy smile to Xiomara.

Nightingale has posed:
Shannon nods to Xiomara, and smiles. "Mmhmm. Ted's got super strength, too, and Adam shifts into a grizzly bear." She seems completely nonplussed by the seeming reference to confession, glossing over it entirely. "The range of gifts here never ceases to amaze me. Curious, what's yours? I mean, if you feel okay saying."

She's barely able to stifle a giggle as she looks over at Indi, one wing coming up to cover the lower half of her face in a bid to stifle her mirth. "Oh, lordy. That's actually a real good question. Who /is/ LaToya's sister? Does she even have one? Jeremy?" Then she glances down at the little brown leather bag which, if she shifts just so, is hanging from her waist, mostly hidden by her nightshirt. "Oh, hell. Has my /phone/ named herself, too?"

She just smiles at Kurt and, completely ignoring his injunction to Xiomara, she moves right over to him and gives him a hug, wings and all. "Well, we all love you, doesn't matter what you look like."

Nightcrawler has posed:
And that's an inoppertune time for Call me Maybe to start ringing out of Kurt's phone as Shannon gives him a hug, and he side-arms a hug to the student. He draws out his phone, nimbly spinning it between his two oversized fingers, and then checks the message.

"Speaking of --" he states -- and then just simply disappears with a BAMF

SpyderByte has posed:
<< We are not a super hero team. We are a group of students hand picked by the staff that have a wide range of experiences that have been grouped together to work in a team environment. The super and the hero part is left out intentionally. >>

Jeremy's phone chirps again as he gives a sway of his feet as he tucks himself in the corner of the couch. He glances over to Xiomara, then back to Shannon, then back to Xiomara. He opens his mouth, then clamps his hand over it, then taps the volume down on the phone to mute.

There is a light mutter into his hand before he clears his throat. Once Kurt vanishes, leaving the students all to themselves, he relaxes a bit, then whispers,

"We're t-t-totally sssss-sssuper heroes."

Beam.

Faraday has posed:
"Well, there is that dude down in the basement." Indira points out on the tail end of Kurt's talk of teams while simultaneously flopping herself in a seat. "I heard some of the older students mention he wasn't a good guy. But maybe he is now? I have no clue. I ain't gonna ask him. I saw him outside. He must be part wooly rhino, that dude is gigantic."

"Jer's right, we totally are. Just not out loud, probably because of insurance reasons. No one tell my mom that, please. She will lose her mind. I'm not even supposed to be lifting heavy boxes according to her. Which is stupid. I am not gonna hide in my house just so I can die of old age. That's a waste."

Ted Gammage has posed:
It's probably been too quiet here, right? So, in walks Ted. He pauses just in the doorway to glance around, lightly lifting up a hand in greeting. "Evenin'," he tells everyone and smiles lightly. He makes his way over to a nearby seat and settles in, the couch protesting the weight just a little. "Ah, so, do we all got detention now?"

Aegis has posed:
"I hope not, I just got here. But if you all did, good for you," Xiomara says to the new guy that just showed up. He must be one of those mentioned on the special group of students who have been grouped together for team training.

At the words from Jeremy, the outloud ones upon the teacher disappearing, Xio gets a big grin on her face and flops down on the couch right next to him. Doesn't matter there are a dozen other places one could sit. She chooses the cushion on the couch right next to his, giving him a light elbow in the arm. "Damn straight. You guys are superheroes."

Then something gets her interest and she swivels all her attention over to Indi. "Big guy in the basement? You got your own Chunk around here? Madre de Dios, I have got to see this!"

Nightingale has posed:
Smiling over at Ted, Shannon waves, and looks about to say something. But then, she goes deathly silent, turning to simply stare at Indi. "Wait, what dude in the basement? Can you describe him a bit more than that?" Her wings have begun to spread out wide, her entire stance gone tense and on full alert, shifting in the space of a few heartbeats from her earlier relaxation. This was not someone very relaxed who was moving to sit down on the other side of Jeremy from Xiomara. Far from it.

SpyderByte has posed:
Giggling at the elbowing, Jeremy gives her a nudge back. << I like Goonies. It's one of my favorite movies. My favorite character was Data. >>

Pointing to Ted, he says, << That is Ted. He's on our team also. He's the super strong guy who is maybe bullet proof. He's our tank. Every tank needs a shield though. >> He says as he gives a glance at Xiomara, his brows lifting upwards in a wily manner, then tips a wink. He knows something. He's looking so smug.

When the topic shifts, he clears his throat.

<< Sabretooth is being held below the school for rehabilitation purposes. Victor Creed. Alpha level mutant. Violent. Wanted in multiple countries for crimes against humanity. Terrorist. Murderer. He is six foot seven, three hundred pounds. Rapid regeneration with natural weaponary of claws. He has enhanced senses, speed, agility and strength. >> There is a glance down at his phone as he taps the glass. << We are not allowed in the security area. It's been locked out from our credentials. I could break into it, obviously, but I'm not going to because I'm terrified of him. >>

Faraday has posed:
"They gotta catch us all first." Indira says to Ted with a wide and wicked grin. "Not that we're making that hard, sitting here, but I don't feel like running. This chair is comfortable."

As she sinks into the chair a little more, she turns a lightly bewildered expression on Shannon with a crease forming across her forehead. "Ya know, that guy on the email and note blast they sent out? The whole 'do not go near him or he'll probably eat you' one? No, Miss Grey didn't actually write that, but it seemed heavily implied. YeahTHATguy!" She says with a point of her finger towards Jeremy as he drops a name and detailed specs.

"Naw, I'm with you there, Jer. No thanks. The teachers can deal with him, I'll just scope him out from several floors up and through a window, thanks. I choose life. Also don't tell my mom about him being here either."

Ted Gammage has posed:
"Yeh, man, hopefully bulletproof. Gotta find ah way to test it without gettin' shot," Ted draws out in response to Jeremy. The talk turns to a prisoner and then Ted makes a soft cough sound. "Ah... so ya'll are sayin' in addition to havein' a hanger, a hologram room, we also have ah dungeon here?" Underground prison=Dungeon, right? "An there's a.. monster terrorist down there right now? Seems like a buildin' filled with students is ah bad place to put a hardened bad dude."

Aegis has posed:
"Yeah, comes in handy on Overwatch at least," Xio mutters about the shield thing when mentioned for supporting a tank. She still has avoided answering that question but obviously the guy who can read everyone's files already knows. He knows everything about her. Heck, he probably read stuff she hasn't seen since she doesn't get the read the reports for stuff she's done in the past. But he won't know about the things that weren't reported. She has some secrets!

At the reaction of Shannon, she glances over as Indi gives an explanation right along with Jeremy. "Why they got this gu...nevermind." Rehabilitation. That's what they were doing with her. But she wasn't a Terrorist murderer. Violent maybe. But not to that level. At least, not yet. Kind of made her want to go check the guy out. First rule in juvie, be the biggest bad ass or make friends with the biggest bad ass to keep from being fresh meat.

"Wait! You have a hangar?"

Nightingale has posed:
"What. The. FUCK." Each word has the volume of Shannon's voice rising just a notch with each sharp, terror-laden outrush of breath. Her pale blue eyes go wide as dinner plates, every last drop of color draining almost instantly from her face. Her outspread wings actually tremble, and one of the larger flight feathers falls free to flutter to the ground. "It seemed pure insanity when I saw that message. I just... wow." The only description for her expression is pure terror, and it actually looks as if she just might run.

SpyderByte has posed:
<< I would not worry about him. He is not allowed out of the secured access areas. It won't affect the way that we train together. >>

Jeremy gives a glance over to Xiomara, offering her up a quick smile, then tips a wink, mouthing the word 'shield' to her. He gives her a pair of thumbs up.

<< But, yes, we have a hangar under the school. We have a private jet that is used for the faculty to utilize. So if the alarms go off while you're playing basketball, move out of there quick. >>

He gives another squeeze of his phone, giving a glance out to the hallway, then back to the others with a optimistic smile. << Anyways, Xiomara, we have three thousand channels. Half of them are music stations and duplicates. >>

Faraday has posed:
"Girl, that message was like two weeks ago. How long have you been holding onto that freak out for? Chill, I don't wanna have to zap you off the floor if you end up having a heart attack." Indira says over to Shannon with a faint, perhaps mildly concerned, frown. "If the teachers here are even half as powerful as people whisper they are, I'm pretty sure they got this dude under lock. They seem the intelligent sort. At least I hope so."

Giving a shrug of her shoulders, she looks back towards the others at the discussion. "Oh, right. Xiomara, you know the X-Men? Their base is below us. Bunch of them are our teachers. But *no one* out there can know. Like... not even joking. Not a whisper. They get super duper twitchy about that. Probably feed you to that Smilodon dude. It really is an absolutely terribly kept secret in here, though. Who's bright idea was it to have a superhero base below a school?"

Ted Gammage has posed:
There's a blink, maybe several, as Shannon swears. Ted's not sure he's heard that before. He's slightly stunned to silence, but then just grins a second before getting a little more serious again. "Ah mean, there's not lettin' him come up here and keepin' him from it. Also, y'know someone's gonna knock out the power or somethin' and out he'll pop from the X-Dungeon. Ain't right," he notes after a moment. "Least, seems like a dangerous game t'play." He rubs the back of his neck a moment, then clears his throat, "An' yeah, they got a plane. An' apparently it is one of those that don't need a runway. Super neat."

Aegis has posed:
"That's crazy. I really feel like you all are fucking with me. Guess it's hazing the new kid. You all being a team and such."

Xio hops up, climbing to her feet and heading for the door to the room. "I just have to figure out what rooom. Indira, you still up for that roomie thing?"

Then just as she is about to go out the door, she turns back. "Nice meeting you, Shannon, Ted, Jeremy. Oh, and Jeremy?" She gives him a huge smile. "You can run around naked all you want." She gives him a bold wink then turns and heads for the foyer then the stairs leading up to the dorms.

Nightingale has posed:
"So do I, Indi. So do I. I'm not gonna apologize for the freak-out, but... yeah. That guy's one of the only ones I can think of who can take out even Logan. Sent him to the medbay for about a week last year." Shannon shivers, and furls her wings around her, drawing them in tightly in a warm, feathery cocoon that shivers like a leaf in the wind. "I was terrified to go out by the lake for about two weeks after that for training runs." For one who usually ran in where angels feared to tread... yeah. Not good. About all she can do is glance up at Xiomara and lift her chin in a bit of an up-nod as she heads out.

SpyderByte has posed:
<< The security system below is maintained by Shi'ar technology, which is alien by the way. It took me two weeks to figure out how to talk to it. It's like speaking Chinese if you are from Italy. It's really hard. I bet she thinks I'm an idiot. Also, the building below is reinforced titanium and it has the highest state of the art defense systems installed. He really won't be getting out, even if the power goes. He is strong, but not strong enough to tear through those types of walls. You do not have to worry, really. I am not worried and I am worried about everything. >>

Jeremy is popping off again on a ramble. He is holding the phone about in his hands as he twirls it about. << In fact, I am also pretty sure that -- >>

There is a long pause as his eyes widen at Xiomara, his cheeks burning bright red. The phone actually 'sputters' from the speakers, followed by a wheezing squeak.

<< BYENICETOMEETYOU. >>

He just blinks slowly, staring after her before he sinks down into the cushions a bit, shyly.

Faraday has posed:
"Oh! Yah it is." Indira slides herself out of the chair and trots after Xiomara. "I'll show ya. I do gotta punch the window a bit to get it to open, but eh, old place. If I end up this old, someone'll probably have to punch me to get me working too."

She raises a hand to give a wave back, just in time to catch Jeremy throwing an error. The grin she shoots him is a sympathetic one, but highly amused even so. "Night guys, catcha tomorrow I'm sure. I'm still waiting for us to get called into the office."

Ted Gammage has posed:
"I am not sure I want to know what that was about," Ted muses to the rather thinned out crowd. He's got nothing more to add to the X-Dungeon thing, having not much experience with the prisoner or the prison. He sees Shan looking worried and says, "If Jer says it's safe, it's safe." He smiles hopefully and even reaches to vveeerrrry lightly place a hand on her shoulder.
