Batman has posed:
Batman had known this call would come, though he was surprised it was so early. He had actually ment to talk to Clark about this soon, so for once in a long time, he actually showed up. He was in his Batman suit, just the normal one, infront of moniter typing some things in about his most recient discovery. Miscelanous stuff, but nothing too big, he keeps typing and a few pictures would pop up, the first one being Posion Ivy, and the second Harley Quin. He types madly as he changes their file from closed to open, with a last known location, and related police files.

Looking at the time, Batman scoffs as it was the closest he got to a laugh. "Figures, they show up late.." but just shrugs to himself and gets back to work. He also adds the information registering another Robin, a new robin though on the identity he put Unknown at this time. It was still kind of new, and while he did want them to know he wasn't ready to give out details yet. The rom his is in is the metting table though it is large for enough people Batman sits at the far side with his back against the wall. He wasn't sure who was going to show up to be honest so moved here incase it was more then he thought.

Flash has posed:
Late? The fastest man alive late? It happens more often than one might think. Just because you can move at speeds faster than light, if you get too focused on something to look at a clock you are bound to miss appointments. The Flash zips into the monitor room once he arrives at the watchtower, taking a slight detour by the galley to whip up a quick sandwich.

"Hey Bruce." Barry says just before he takes a bite of his sandwich. He lifts his a hand to remove the cowl from his face as he chews, combing his gloved fingers through his hair to try and tame the 'cowl head' he has at the moment. "Anyone else here yet?"

Superman has posed:
In his defense, Clark was late because he stopped to pick up the food. From China. In bags held in his hands, his offering stilk warm and hot - thouhh he coukd warm whatever got too cold for anyine's liking - the scent of all the best of Chinese Cuisine heralds his arrival into the room. Clark immediatelt set to unpacming at the table.

"Just arrived. nice to see you Barry, Bruce. I got a bit of everything..."

Aquaman has posed:
And the last to arrive in the Monitor Room is Aquaman, Arthur Curry the King of Atlantis. He is dressed casually at the moment, it would seems, the trappings of Aquaman stowed away as he steps into the room, "Superman, Flash, Batman." Arthur greets the three as he approaches the table Superman is unpacking food at, "Sorry to keep you gentlemen waiting, I had a meeting at the Embassy I couldn't get away from. The food smells delicious, Superman." He adds, nodding to the Man of Steel.

Batman has posed:
Bruce looks at Barry with his normal scowl brooding face though listens as he finishes typing.. He doesn't take his cowl off even after he calls him his name, and then Clark does as well. "I see both of you are confortable in this place, but I would remind you of the rule.. If I am wearing this.." he points to the cowl.. "It is Batman, and only Batman there is no exception." he adds with a calm though slightly angery tone. "If you wish to use your real name that is on you, though so are the coniquences." then he falls back silent watching them mess with the food, he doesn' ask for any or aknowledge it, "I came here for buisness... Superman." he makes a point of not using his name. He pauses looking at Clark. "Because I just got out a meeting with Lex Luthor, and I think he is planning to move soon."

Batman spins around the computer, it is some tech on Mars Exploration, "For some reason he is intrested in space though he hides it well, there is something out there, though we need to find it first." he stops, and gives a sigh, looking at Barry, "I will send you a box of proper gel that will hold the hair back, though I would suggest that you cut it." he is trying to be nice, but the glare is still there, and the tone sounds forced before he looks back at Superman, "We also need to talk about the two ladies going around hitting banks.. They are both dangerous, but together even more so." his eyes narrow at Arthur, "I hope you learned humility on your way, for your peoples sake... King." though King does sound dripped in sarcasim.

Flash has posed:
Barry raises a brow in a slight arch at the scolding from Bruce, swallowing another bite from his sandwich. He glances over at Superman, rolling his shoulders in a small shrug before turning back to look at Bruce, "Alright. Sorry, Batman. Don't worry about the gel, i'm fine."

Barry walks over to the table, checking out the selection of Chinese food as Bruce continues talking, lifting a hand up to greet Arthur as the king of Atlantis makes his appearance, trying to be quiet as Batman talks business.

Superman has posed:
Superman's smile to Arthur is the tense kind of polite. The kind of polite one has when greeting a friend whilst hearing unpleasant news. Such as Luthor being Up To Something. That never ends well, Superman has come to learn. Stepping to the side to let Barry and Arthur at the food, Superman keeps his eyes on Batman, acknowledgeing the scolding only by falling more into what is expected of Superman and not the relaxed farmboy he grew up as.

"If you have a camera you want used, I can get some aeral views of whatever you think would give you the most information about his plans," Superman says as he reads through the information on the screen.

"Check up on Mars too," is added before his lips press and he nods.

"I just read about them on The Wire. Do we have a twenty on them? Should we try to talk or wait for them to start up again?"

Aquaman has posed:
The venomed words of Batman are largely brushed aside by Arthur as he nods his head slightly, "We should try to reach out to J'onn, though I understand he has been busy as of late." he says as word of Lex's plans are brought up to the group, stepping up to begin dishing up a selection of the chinese food onto a plate.

"But he wouldn't be pursuing this undertaking for purely altruistic means, I cannot imagine." Arthur says, "The investigation into the attack on Atlantis you caught the tail end of is running into dead ends as well." He says towards Superman, "The fisherman are not talking about who put them up to it, at least not yet, but I shall keep you advised."

Batman has posed:
Batman nods to Barry, "Very well.." is all he says in response. Pausing for a moment he thinks about the questions, "Perhaps, he did think there was something there, but I may know more soon. Do not spy on him more then you usually do it will spook him, and knowing Lex he has already prepaired for this so it would be a waste of time. Give him time he has his faults, I am just wondering which path he will take." he then pauses.. "But be ready to move for when it happends you will know.. Just keep an ear out while you are around Metropolis, will be hard to miss."

He sighs, and thinks about the other two, "If they were in Gotham I would of just thrown them both into Arkham again, but they are not. If you wish to talk with them.. I would suggest you read up on both of them. Given time they will break up, because Harley's significant other will interupt their gathering.. I am have an idea where they are at, but until he steps in I am leaving them as bait as I said it isn't Gotham."

He nods to Arthur at what he said.. He isn't wrong so he won't correct him, though he is quiet before he answers.. "I will talk to the fishermen.. We will see." he says finally, as he stands. "Anything else? I have a city to watch, as you all do." he starts moving towards the door, "If there are updates, I will send contact again, but for now I wished you to know so if it comes you are ready."

Flash has posed:
It's obvious to Barry that he must have missed...something. He looks between Batman, Superman, and Arthur as they all speak to each other, noting the obvious tension that seems to exist between the three. He finishes off the sandwich in record time and starts to make a plate of the other food offered, "So...if J'onn," he pauses and looks at Bruce, "Sorry...if Martian Manhunter is busy, as anyone reached out to Green Lantern? I am sure he could do a flyby on Mars to give it a once over. Not that you couldn't either, Superman, but knowing you, you would probably like to keep an eye on Luthor here."

Furrowing his brow, Barry looks over to Batman, "So...because it isn't in 'your' city your ok with them being out and used as bait to try and lure the Joker in? Is that what I am hearing? Because if so, that is...I'm not sure what that is, but it doesn't sit well with me."

Superman has posed:
Told not to spy on Luthor more than he does has Clark frowning darkly. Because it implies that he stalks the man. Superman doesn't stalk.... He just... keeps an eye out for him.. in case he leaves his lead-lined tower. And yet, Superman doesnot argue the point beyong the faint frown.

The thought of leaving the two on the loose doesn't sit well with him but the Justice League really aren't a police force.

"We may have to wait for them to act anyway, Flash," Superman cautions as Batman stands to make his way out.

"No, I suppose not, Batman. Arthur, let me know if you need help," Superman says, letting Barry and Arthur at the food. After all, Superman is solar powered. He'll eat once everyone's had their fill... and Barry's eaten enough for twenty.

Aquaman has posed:
"If you need any help with them, you can reach me on the communicator." Arthur says at the side discussion about Harley and Poison Ivy, taking a quick bite from his plate. "The food is quite good, Superman." He adds, nodding his head towards the Man of Steel.

"I think getting the Green Lantern to investigate Mars is not a bad idea though, perhaps Superman, you can assist as well? Or would that tip off Lex Luthor more then you are comfortable with?" The last is directed towards Batman, another bite of fresh chinese food is delivered to Arthur's mouth following that.

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
In the hallway corridor a silver-blue flash appears and then shimmers for a few seconds before disappearing again. The click of heels is immediately heard and Zatanna casually strides into the monitor room with a pleasant smile on her lips. "MMm... now this was worth ducking out of my own after party for. That smells amazing." A half glance at Flash as she adds playfully, "I hope there's a little something left still..."

Batman has posed:
Batman stops, and turns to look at Flash, "If you wish to stop them the information is in there, though as is I don't give you good odds considering the match-up is not good for you." he watches Flash, "I understand why you would disagre. I am not asking you to let them go, just not leaving my city to chase them down yet as the danger they pose is less then what would happen if I spent my time chasing them." then he continues to walk to the door-way as Arthur talks to him he nods, "Right now he knows nothing of your involvement, the more he knows the more that involvement will threaten the cause." he gives a shrug, "I have done my part, if you mess it up then accepting your faults is part of the team." he silently nods to Zatanna as he passes her, he only whispers, "nepo stekcit esoht evah llits uoy epoh I ..niaga uoy ees ot eciN" as he passes by.

He stops at the doorway, and turns. "I know you three.. sorry four, would like to talk this over more, but.." he pauses as he gets to the Teleporters outside of the meeting room. "I have a date with Lois that I can not miss." and with that he turns it on, and disapears being teleported elsewhere. The records would show Metropolis

Flash has posed:
Flash arches his brow even more as Bruce speaks again, folding his arms over his chest and narrowing his eyes. "Not...good...odds? Bru..Batman, did something slip in your head the last few weeks? I Just helped you take out Starro not more than a month ago. I don't think that Ivy or Quinn is exactly out of my league."

He watches Bruce go, and tosses up his hands as he turns to look at the other in the room, "Is it just me, or is he even more...broody than usual. Like someone used his favorite cowl to clean up spilled milk or something, and he is stuck with the one that smells like mothballs."

Barry takes a few forkfuls of his food, shoving it into his face in a blur, pausing to smile at Zatanna, "There is plenty, i've only started to eat. Besides, I'm polite. I don't hog all the food."

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl steps out of the zeta platform at the same time Batman enters it. She doesn't greet him, just twists her shoulders slightly to avoid brushing him in passing. She has a box of something that smells like curried potatoes, which she sets on the table without tossing it down. She doesn't apologize for being late when she takes her seat, just asking, "What did I miss?"

Aquaman has posed:
"I found him down at the bottom of the sea not long ago, investigating something.. and having assaulted several Atlantean Guardsman without sending notice he was going to be in the area." Arthur replies to the Flash, shrugging his shoulders, "Then went on to blame me for the incident. Perhaps something has him agitated, this Lex Luthor thing?"

As Zee arrives his attention turns towards the woman with more fish inspired clothing then he, "Superman flew it in fresh from China, help yourself." He says with a gesture towards the spread on the table. "Plenty for everyone, still." He offers a nod to the arriving Power Girl as well, inclining his head, "And welcome as well, Power Girl."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara slows as Batman approaches her. As he murmurs to her in passing, her brow arching as he continues on an turns to speak toward him as she steps backwards a few paces in the process, "About that..." she holds a finger up, shaking it toward Batman as if to suggest she'll get back to him or it just isn't gonna happen, whatever it was. Turning then she looks for the food, zeroing in to grab some before it is all, in fact, devoured around her!

Flash has posed:
Flash reaches up, rubbing the back of his neck as he walks over to sit at the table, "He assaulted you subjects? Then blamed you?" Barry's eyes narrow a bit more and he shakes his head, "That's...troubling. He is always a bit standoffish and broody, but that seems a tad uncharacteristic, even for him. I don't know, maybe I am just being paranoid since Clayface tried to fool me as Batman not to long ago. Maybe I am looking for things that just aren't there."

He looks over at Power Girl, offering a wave and glancing at the potatoes, "Oh, what are those? They smell delicious. As for what you missed, well apparently Luthor has something going on with Mars, and Ivy and Quinn are robbing banks."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara glances up and smiles, "Thanks, Arthur. How're you doing by the way? Haven't seen you much.." She glances back, "Oh, hi Power Girl." she looks over at the potatos. "Mmm.. those smell good too! I'm going to have to work out for a week after this.." she groans as she continues to grab some of everything. And a lot of some things!

Power Girl has posed:
    "Vegetable samosas," Power Girl explains to Flash, after a nodded greeting to Aquaman. "Seasoned mashed potatoes mixed with whole peas, wrapped in something like a wonton and fried." She nods a greeting back at Zatanna, but continues to wait for an update on what's happening. No nonsense, is this one.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Green Lantern, Hal Jordan arrives on scene, appearing via the Justice League teleporter. Scanning the scene, Hal listens and can hear voices. Moving down the hallway, he approaches the Monitor Room, and notes his fellow Leaguers present.

    "Sorry to interrupt everyone." Hal grins. "I didn't mean to be late. Dealing with the same stuff as always." Hal takes his place, and listens to the conversation, catching up on what he missed as best he could while sampling the food on the table that the others provided.
"Sorry I didn't bring anything this time around...I came directly here as fast as I could." Hal looks at PG, and nods, "Smells delicious!"

Aquaman has posed:
"I've been kept busy out in Atlantis." Arthur replies to Zatanna, "Things are a bit tense at the moment, we've had a few incidents lately I am trying to handle, including someone launching poison attacks towards my domain." he says to Zee.

Back to Flash his attention goes, "As intelligent as Batman is, he does not truly understand the dynamics of governing in Atlantis, as much as he thinks he does." Arthur says, "I suspect that is where his stance on my kingdom comes, out of well intentioned ignorance."

Then there is Hal, arriving amongst them, "Dig in, Superman has brought us fresh chinese food, and Power Girl, it seems, has added to the Potluck. I would have brought some fish if I'd known."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara looks to Power Girl, "Not really anything important. Just some social time. Superman picked up fresh food in China. so we're all here enjoying the real thing for a change instead of the Americanized versions.. " she nods to Arthur, laughing. "Yeah.. we could have had a real Justice League Potluck. Maybe we should plan one. So it can get cancelled by the next crisis..."

Flash has posed:
Devouring his plate of food in a blur of motion, Barry stands up from the table to walk over to get seconds, and to try some of the potatoes as well. "Maybe, Arthur. He just seems a bit different today than the last time I saw him."

Barry takes his new plate of food and makes his way over towards the bank of monitors to check the files that Batman had left for them, sitting down in the seat and leafing through the folders faster than he should causing a paper to fall to the floor. He sighs, setting the pate down as he bends over to pick up the paper and pauses. "If we want to do a potluck..." Barry says as he reaches under the seat and produces a little bat shaped device, a smirk on his face as he speaks closer into it, "..I say we have Batman bring some meatballs with little toothpick umbrellas in them."

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl doesn't move toward the food. She just stares at the Chinese hard enough you can just about feel the roentgens. "Interesting," she observes noncomittally. "Didn't expect a party. Would have brought the Wii and some Mario Kart, or something."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    "Thanks Arthur! I will." Hal Jordan nods, and takes a fair portion of all dishes, and turns to face the team while munching on the grub. Hal doesn't comment on Arthur's other comments, for once keeping his opinions to himself. He looks over at the table, and then over at the ladies. "A potluck might be fun Zee. Sounds like we have a volunteer in coordinating it." Nom, nom.

    Hal watches as Flash devours his food, and chuckles as another plate is loaded. Smiling at Barry's comments, Hal takes a seat near him, and adds to the fire. "Or maybe little toothpick bats instead of umbrellas."

    

Aquaman has posed:
"Batman actually mentioned something of interest." Arthur says to Hal, taking a bite from his own plate, stuffing some noodles all into his mouth and munching down on them. "Lex Luthor is pushing a space agenda, Batman said he was interested in Mars."

"With J'onn occupied with that important mission... We thought it might be something you could try to look into, subtley. Just to cover our bases." Arthur says as he moves to find himself a seat, "It's probably nothing to be concerned about, but Batman thought it was worth mentioning, so we should follow up on it."

Flash has posed:
Flash stands up, bringing over the little bat shaped object in his fingers and setting it down on the table gently, so everyone can see it, and points to it...then points to his ear. "Ya, GL. I figured that if the Manhunter wasn't around or available to do some recon or research, then you would be the next best option. Space being your beat and all. Batman mentioned that Author thinks there is something out there, and I think Bats does as well. So, maybe a quick once over of the planet might reveal some information. Let your ring do its thing."

Barry sits back down into one of the chairs and takes another bit of food, "On the other hand, we do have Quinn and Ivy robbing banks. It's not as Earth shattering as Starro, and likely won't take more than one or two of us to take care of them. But I guess the question lays on if we should. Batman seems to think they will bring out Joker, and as much as I hate to leave Ivy and Quinn out causing havoc, if they do lure out Joker he is the bigger fish."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara grins at Hal, "You're right, I'll let Batman know he's up for organizing." A wink as she moves from the food table to lean against the wall, eating the food she's picked out. She looks to Power Girl, "I could summon one up if you want some time.." She nibbles a bit more and falls silent, listening to the others talking about things.

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl nods at Flash. "I agree, but only in the short term. Poison Ivy is an act of eco-terrorism waiting to happen, but she doesn't seem to have figured that out yet. If we're ranking villains, that is."

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    "Sure Arthur. I can take a swing by. Shouldn't be too difficult. Especially if it means stopping anything Lex is trying to do." Hal nods, and takes another bite. "If Bats says, "probably nothing" it probably is something." Hal chuckles.

    Nodding as Flash adds his two cents, Hal says, "Sounds good to me!" Nom, nom. "It shouldn't take too long to scan Mars...does anyone know what J'onn is doing? He's been pretty incommunicado."

    "Ha!" Hal laughs at Zatanna's riposte, and grins. "I guess he deserves that by missing meetings." Hal chuckles. "As for the Batvillains, I was already warned away from Gotham by tall, dark and moody, and I prefer my bones unbroken. So."

Power Girl has posed:
    Power Girl nods at Zatanna in acknowledgement of her joke, but without laughing. She stands up from the table and explains, "Nice to talk to you all, but I have to get back to work. You know how to contact me if you need me." Then zeta platform, then chemistry at STAR Labs. It's a glamorous life.

Aquaman has posed:
"Let us know if you find anything." Aquaman says to Hal with a nod of his head at the Green Lantern, moving on to finish off what's on his plate before setting it down at the table.

"And I intend to avoid Gotham as well, out of professional courtesy if nothing else." Arthur agrees with a nod of his head towards Hal. "Besides, we have plenty of other matters to deal with anyway, the Gotham heroes are more then capable of protecting their city.."

Flash has posed:
Flash shrugs, leaning back in his chair and placing his interlaced fingers behind his head. "By Power Girl." he says as she takes her leave, looking back to the rest of the heroes gathered. "I don't know. He mentioned it, so it's probably important enough to look into. He doesn't tend to waste words."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Zatanna Zatara looks up, "What's wrong with Gotham? My family's been active in Gotham and Bludhaven for almost a hundred years." She smiles. "You don't have to avoid Gotham. Just.. don't try to play hero there or... y'know.." She jerks her head toward the direction Mr. Cranky Pants left. "But he has no right to keep you out of the city. Pretty sure there's no contract that has his name on it as rightful owner.." her tone sarcastic as she pauses to munch more food.

Green Lantern (Jordan) has posed:
    Hal Jordan stands up, tosses his now empty plate in the recycler, and looks over his shoulder. "Will do! I expect that Bats is probably right. Nothing." Hal doesn't sound too positive in that thought. He turns back to the group. "Yeah, exactly Arthur. I have enough things to worry about then stamping on Batman's "roses"." Nodding, "Yeah, exactly Barry. Zee. True enough." Hal grins.

    Nodding at Power Girl, Hal says, "Yeah, I need to head out too. I'll do that scan on my way out of the solar system." Hal says to everyone. "Have a good night! Be safe!" Hal follows PG towards the "exit".

Aquaman has posed:
With Hal excusing himself, and most of the rest of the League already departed, Arthur rises up himself, nodding his head towards Hal. "Keep us informed." He says, his attention turning back towards Zee and Flash, "If either of you need anything just send word, I'll be around Metropolis for most of the day."

Zatanna Zatara has posed:
Well it seems the meal has ended as has most of the socializing. Zatanna finishes her food and disposes of the plate in the trash. Looking toward the others she smiles. "Well.. now that I'm full, I should probably put in an appearance at the afterparty for the end of my tour.... " A rueful grin is offered, "Hope to catch you all soon. You know where to find me!" And with that she begins walking toward the doorway as she speaks, "!emoh ot latroP" A shimmering portal opens and she walks right through it before it again collapses in upon itself and disappears. Magic.

Flash has posed:
Seeing everyone else start to depart, Barry sighs and stands up. "Zatanna, Arthur, do either of you want any of this?" he says as he motions vaguely around the food on the table. "If not, I may pack up some for leftovers tonight. Or on the way back to Central City." The Flash grins, lowering his head so he can be cleanly heard via the bat shaped listening device, "Or maybe I will just bring some over to Batman. He rarely ever takes the time to eat."

As Zatanna leaves, Barry takes that as a no and starts to pack up the leftover Chinese food. "Oh well, more for me."
