College buddies catching up

Synopsis:	Josh comes over to talk with Andrea about a new job.

Rage has posed:
With college in full swing, Andrea and Jay have been attending NYU for their respective degrees. She is going for Production and he is going for Sound Engineering. Both of which caters to their career and musical lifestyles. It's been awhile since she caught up with Josh since graduation and thus she lobbed him a text message to pop over later if he wanted, along with her new address.

Currently the popstarlet is in her living room, dressed in a baggy NYU sweater and a pair of snug flexible jeans. Sprawled out on her couch, she is flicking through the thousands of channels that she has for her TV, none of which are appealing to her. Music stations are not reality shows, and cartoons are boring and longer interesting.

With Jay out and about and her twin brother Nevada most likely chasing down some ghosts, it's just her alone for a change. At times she'll pick up her phone, tapping away to send off a few messages, or update a social status. Such an exciting life for a celebrity.

Elixir has posed:
Josh wasn't really up to much today aside from wandering the city. Sometimes he just likes to get out and be a tiny speck amongst the towers and just another golden-skinned boy in the crowd. He had actually just picked up a slice when his phone vibrated in his pocket with a text from Andrea, who he hadn't seen in what felt like forever.

Letting her know he'd be right over, he took the slice to go and headed towards her new place. When he arrives at her building, he sort of stops for a minute to look at it with awe. Damn, she's movin' on up. Riding the elevator to her floor, he checks his phone one more time before the doors open. He approaches her door and knocks.

Rage has posed:
Hopping up to her feet, Andrea makes her way over to the door after checking the camera app on her phone to see who is at the front door. After unlocking the three bolts on the heavy steel door, she opens it up and gives Josh a big grin. "Hey! Come on in." She says as she motions her hand inwards and steps back. "You want anything to drink or eat? Jay is out and about and my brother is working .. I think."

She heads back into the Penthouse, giving a motion of her hand outwards. "This is my new place! Whatcha think? I know it's a little bit 'extra' but I figure if I'm going to stay in New York for the long run, I'll get a place I can really dig my roots into. I may be Californian, but I just love New York."

Elixir has posed:
When the door opens, Josh's face lights up at the sight of his friend. Her greeting is met with a simple, "Hey," and he steps in after her. Once inside, he takes a look around at how incredibly vast her penthouse is. Not registering her offer for a drink for a moment, he blinks and returns to the matter at hand, "Huh? Oh." He walks in a bit further and looks at Andrea, "No thanks, I just had some pizza." Standing in the middle of the room, he shakes his head with a grin on his face, "This place is unreal." He steps over to a seat and drops into it, resting his arm over the back and gets comfortable right away, "This apartment is like twice the size of the house I grew up in." He looks towards the window, "With a much better view, too."

Rage has posed:
"Yeah, it's pretty nuts. I got it at a good rate. Was on the market for about two years and I finally had my manager pull the trigger on it. I just love the view. You should see the deck! It's a wrap around. I got a firepit out there, a hot tub and a take off ramp for Jay when he wants to go for a fly, or when Sam wants to drop by and not take the elevator."

Heading into the kitchen, Andrea opens the fridge to take out a pair of Smart Waters. Heading back, she hands him one, then settles into her side of the couch, sinking down into the white cushions. She gives him a wide grin. "So whatcha been up to? You working yet? I got an idea that I think you may liiiike." She sing songs to him.

Elixir has posed:
Josh looks around, following Andrea's description of the place and the.. wrap around deck. Holy hell. He takes the water that she offers to him and then stands up so he can walk over to the wall of windows and looks out over the deck and the view beyond. Untwisting the bottle cap, he takes a drink which he's appreciative of having grabbed a drink from the pizza place.

"This really is an incredible place, Andrea. You've done well," he says with a smile as he heads back over to the couch and sits on the opposite end. He lets himself sink into the cushion and breathes a sigh of comfort. "Not working yet. I was thinking about volunteering at a shelter or something. Maybe try to help out people who can't afford to go to the hospital." When she sings, he laughs and looks at her in silence for a long moment, "And what's that?"

Rage has posed:
"First of all, I need you to come with me to this charity event tonight. Jay is working and my brother can't dance. So, ta-da. If you need a suit, I think you can fit in one of Jay's. Also, the other thing I wanna bring up is this free clinic idea that I am continuing to work on. Through my charity, Starlight, I have a management team in place looking to take over a building in Mutant Town to turn into a free clinic for mutants. I need someone who I can employ that I can use on the fly for like .. really bad injuries and the such. Interested? It's a paying job. Something you can do at night maybe. We're doing some interviews for some staffers at the moment who can run it."

Andrea uncaps her drink and takes a long sip from it, followed by a quick lick of her lips. "So, pretty much whoever we employ can run it on their own, but if they get someone that comes in with stab wounds or a bullet to the stomach or something, would you be able to pop over and help us out? You know how passionate I am in giving back to our people."

Elixir has posed:
Both the request to join her at what sounds like a fancy event as well as the offer of working at a free clinic she's setting up catch Josh completely off guard and he just blankly stares at her for what seems to him like an eternity. "Uhhhh," he just sort of exhales, his voice wavering just a bit. For the moment, the charity event is forgotten because his mind is focused on the clinic idea. It is pretty much exactly what he was wnating to do anyway, but it pays! "That sounds incredible!" His excitement is starting to grow and it comes through in his voice.

Then he remembers the charity event and starts to get a little anxious, "A.. are you sure? I mean, Jay wouldn't mind me wearing one of his suits?" He reaches up and runs his fingers through his untamed hair, "I probably look kind of shitty. But yeah, I'll go." He rises from the couch so he can get prepared to go.. to a charity event.. on short notice.
